Bigby walked through east city. Man he never thought walking through a city would feel special, but all that time nature hiking had left him dieing for something a bit more interesting. Sure, he had to slow down since there were so man people around, and it was really loud. Sorting through the noise for the important bits had always made the android feel uncomfortable. He had always had a bit of trouble filtering out background noise.
The machine walked into a mechanic's shop. The kind that he knew would have plenty of things that androids needed to keep going. Sure, he was self sufficient for the most part. But all this walking had left his joints creaking for some lubricant. He walked up to the front desk and asked. "Hey do you have any android grade syth oil lube?" "Uhh.... Yeah it's right on that stand over there. Just pick some up and I will ring you up." Said the young man behind the counter.
Next on his list for body maintenance, was some food. "So I was thinking a salad or something." Said the A.I. Athan in his head. "Aww come on mate, wallet's a little stretched as it is. I was just going to get a burger." "We don't NEED to eat you know." "Yeah but.... I like it...." "Sandwiches are cheap, and there is a shop that sells them right around the corner." "Oh hey! Good idea!" "Ask them to put plenty of lettuce in it mkay?"
One nine in the morning sandwich out of the way, the android did what he liked best. He simply walked, he walked right around the city. Saddle bag over his shoulder. He had no direction he wanted to go, Bigby just wanted to see the city. He walked through the alleyways, as there were less people in his way there. He waited at cross walks, he climbed random fire escapes onto rooves. By the time it was about 10:11, he sensed an above average power level on his sensor array. He decided to go and check it out. A bit more walking and he was closing in on the much higher power level then that of the surrounding environment. Eventually he walked out of an allyway, the power level was here. But just what was he looking at?

Nemo has been waiting in the police department for his replacement to arrive so he could go home. He had taken the night shift the yesterday again and supposedly, he was to leave at eight in the morning when the other official was scheduled to arrive. However it was past ten o’clock and there was no sign of the man yet. He was trapped in the traffic and couldn’t arrive in time. Too bad for the humans they couldn’t fly like Nemo. Well… some of them could, but it was not the case of this officer. Nemo didn’t really mind working so overstaying wasn’t a problem to him… what irritated him was the fact that the man didn’t attend to his job with punctuality. The others in the department were lucky Nemo wasn’t their superior, else he would turn their routine into something hard to swallow, spicing it with some military-flavored routine. He was one of these persons to whom you say “I couldn’t come. The bridge collapsed” and he would respond with “Not my problem. Learn how to fly”. Literally. He couldn’t understand how his now-colleagues were entrusted with the defense of the law being that they didn’t know the most basic techniques.
Soon enough, the officer would have arrived and added in another detail to his story, saying he had also missed his first alarm clock. Probably there was more excuses, but let’s not investigate it any further as to not find personal details we don’t want to know about… So, anyway, officer Tamago had arrived and Nemo was sent home. He would take the rest of the day to advance in his training.
Outside it was around 10:10. There were quite a few miles to cross until the namekian could reach his home. He isolated himself on purpose; that distance was nothing to someone who could fly in the same speed he was able to. Stepping out of the police department, the namekian seems to be out of his uniform and wearing some common human clothes (there was no need to walk around with his Galactic Patrol uniform all the time). It would perhaps be something quite humorous to watch a 7’7” feet bulky namekian in a casual violet t-shirt, jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap. It just didn’t seem to match those scars in his face.
The namekian then jumps, using the flight technique to maintain himself in the air and proceeds to leave the area, taking care as to not release that much energy too close to the department, as to not cause the aftershock to break the windows… again… He would soon disappear in the horizon, heading back to his lonely settlement to do some training.
The last two paragraphs narrate what Bigby would see. Unlike the greenie, the android gives off no life signs, so there was nowhere for Nemo to tell he was there. Now what was this guy’s interest in Nemo? Perhaps he would find it out soon enough…

The android looked to the sky as he was able to accurately track the life energy of the green man. He could not see him because all of the buildings and such were obscuring his line of sight. However he would soon see a Namekian with a heavily scarred face break the short skyline and come in for a landing to his home across the street from where he was. The android checked both ways for traffic before he used the marked area on the street as not to jay walk and be a douche to any cars that hit him, or to fly over and possibly break the eardrums of an old lady who just lived around there.
Soon he was on the other side of the street. When the android approached he looked just about fully human, with some exceptions. Like if you looked at the joints on his arms, the only limbs he has fully exposed. You might think that he has some artificial limbs. But otherwise he just wore his hair up and had a relatively easygoing, upbeat look on his face. "Hello. My name is Bigby, nice to meet you. You were the strongest power level by far I could sense around the city. You don't get that tough without a little effort am I right? If you'd like to train with me, I would appreciate it."

OOC: Sorry for not making it clear, but Nemo actually lives outside the city in an isolated area (he doesn't like neighboors as he is pretty much a loner) by a river in a valley, so he can have access to a source of fresh water to attend to his needs. He built a small crude shelter for himself there. But don't worry, the scenario you just provided is good enough. I'll go with what you posted:
Before heading home, he made sure to make a small pit stop, by a little unimportant house in the neighborhood. He lands across the street, by the mailbox and walks to the door, ringing the bell. – “Just a minute!” – A choky voice of an old female yells from inside. Soon enough, this old lady meets the namekian by the door. – “Yes… Oh… Hello, officer? How can I help you, today?” – The grandma asks, surprised by the visit. – “I’m just here to check on you and Mr. Whiskers” – Nemo explains. Mr. Whiskers was the lady’s cat that Nemo rescued from a tree the night before when he was on duty. Since the lady’s home was on the way to his own, Nemo thought it would be a good idea to check upon them before leaving East City for today. – “Oh… you’re such a doll… Come on here, let me get you a nice batch of hot cookies and a glass of milk” – The lady offers, turning her back on the namekian and proceeding to re-enter her home. – “That’s not necessary, my lady… I-“ – Nemo says, interrupting his sentence midway as his long and pointy namekian ears shake for a moment, indicating he has just heard something. Steps. – “Close the door” – He says bluntly. – “What? Aren’t you coming in first?” – The puzzled woman asks. – “Just do as I say. And don’t come out until I give you orders to do so. Have I been clear?” – The namekian oders. – “A-alright…” – The scared lady proceeds to make her way into her home, slowly closing and locking her door.
Now you might be wondering what the hell was that all about. Namekians are known for their acute sense of hearing (loud noises even can be a nuisance to them… one of the reasons why Nemo isolated himself from the big city and would prefer to take on the night shifts when the city is less noisy). Although he couldn’t feel Bigby’s power, he heard the sound of his steps. Since the old lady lived pretty much alone an there wasn’t real movement around there, he became a little alarmed that he was hearing steps, but not sensing energy. That sounded (literally) like someone trying to sneak up on him.
By that point, Bigby was already real close. – “What do you want?” – The serious namekian asks first and only then turns around to meet the android face-to-face, meaning to let on the message that he was aware of him, what should also pass as a very clear “don’t try anything funny”. The man in front of him looked to be in his early thirties. He had a spiky black hair and wore glasses that reflected the light brownish (or whatever that color was) glow of his eyes. He seemed a pretty capable warrior, an idea reinforced by the fact he carried a sword with him, what further raised Nemo’s suspicions about the fact he couldn’t pull an energy signature of this individual. What were his intentions, after all?
The man then introduced himself as Bigby. Apparently, Nemo was being alarmed at nothing. Noting how the namekian’s power level was distinguishable between the others in the city, the bionic man simply seemed to be looking for a training partner. If truly so, that was a thought that pleased Nemo, actually. After all, he was set on doing some training himself for today. A sparring partner could a be a good opportunity to turn the training more effective and enjoyable; Nemo was always up for a friendly fight. – “I am Nemo. A pleasure to meet you Bigby” – The namekian says politely, bowing in a formal greeting. – “Sorry for rudenessbefore. I was unsure of your intentions. You are right when you mention I keep a consistent training routine. In fact, I am just heading back to my place in order to start exercising for today. The company is welcome, if you want to join me” – The scarred warrior invites.

ooc: Thank you. It was a tad difficult with the only definition being shelter.
The android wasn't bothered when the Namekian was a little salty with him. Sure, he might have been a bit kinder to someone who was introducing himself so politely, but it took a lot more than that to get under his skin. One he finished the warrior in front of him was nice and pleased with his proposal. "Hey I'm all for that! I'll let you finish whatever business you have here and we can get underway. Police officer huh? I have... Good ears to say the least. You don't see many people with your kind of power being civil servants, sure plenty pitch in the defend the earth and stuff like that. But seeing someone following the rules and making a real difference in their community, because it's hard. Is pretty cool Nemo."
The android would then lean against the wall to the old woman's house. He gently crossed his arms and looked up at a slight angle. Though it looked like he might have just been spacing out and waiting for the time to pass. He actually wanted to talk, with a little voice in his head. A voice that was another A.I, like a son to him. "So what do you think Athan?" He asked. "Oh me? This looks like a downright outstanding guy I'd say. It's just a first impression sure, but I think we stand a fair bit to gain from meeting him." "I'd say, usually I practice with guys that are.... Frankly a level above me. If they are below it kinda feels like I'm doing a favor for a friend. Something tells me this will be more mutual you know?" He was not speaking out loud of course, just sending electronic messages to the other mind residing in his head.
"So about that guy's scar...." "Think we should heal it?" "Oh you thought of that? Yeah I really think we should, medical technology is no where close to the kind of stuff we are packing. Many warriors live with the burdens of scarring all over their body. So you know, hum hum, zap zap. We make him better?" "Yeah I was thinking that as well. But Saiyins are not the only race that has some pride." "What do you mean?" "Hey, some people keep reminders of the past. Make sure they never forget. We'll offer for sure, but we should not persist if he says no alright?" "Gotcha!"

The android seemed all for Nemo’s offer. Like Nemo, Bigby seemed to have a pretty good sense of hearing as well, seeing as he was able to perceive the old lady calling him an officer. – “I guess it’s something we have in common, then” – Nemo replies to Bigby’s statement about having good eardrums., with a smirk in his face. Any tension between the android and the namekian for this first encounter would then disappear with Bigby’s acknowledgement of Nemo’s service to the community. The usual stoic expression gives place to a friendlie, more relaxed look. – “I appreciate the praise. I wanted to do something of value during my stay on this planet. Enforcing the law is what my life has always been all about. It is good to see someone appreciates my efforts. Let me just warn poor old Neka (pun on neko, which means 'cat') that she has nothing to worry about. I left her alarmed for nothing. Just give me a second and we can leave” – Nemo says, turning around to knock on the lady’s door again. He gently hits the fragile (well… fragile to him, at least) structure three times, calling for the lady. – “Lady Neka? It was a false alarm. I’m sorry for scaring you over nothing. You can just relax now” – Nemo explains through the door. Soon, the old lady open the door again. – “Ah, don’t worry dear. It’s just good to see the police is so caring of the citizens of East City. Not many would bother with an old, lonely lady. So, how about those cookies?” – She replies smiling and gently placing her hand over the greenie’s left forearm. The namekian blushes. – “Uh… Thank you… I’m just doing my job” – The soft-hearted giant responds scratching the back of his head. He then turns toBigby while still standing in Old Neka’s door: – “Hey Bigby! Do you want cookies before we leave?” –

"Yeah sure!" Said Bigby, who had really been dieing for some sweet, sweet junk food. Sure, he did not need to eat at all, but he had developed a taste for it, so to speak. He had all the proper organs to do so. Athan had never even tasted cookies before, so he knew it would be a real treat to try some out with him. He walked over to where the kindly Neka was standing. "If you would toss some of those baked goods my way I would appreciate it. I haven't eaten anything besides venison and some fruit for the last two months." He put his hands together and bowed his head as a sign of respect. He was really grateful.

Bing was all up for the cookies and milk, it seemed. – “Feel yourselves at home!" – The kind woman responds to Bigby with a warm smile. Upon hearing his new acquaintance’s response, he turns back to Old Neka. – “I’ll take a glass of water, only please” – The giant says before entering the humble residence.
Nemo and Bigby are sat down in comfortable armchairs in front of each other. Between them, there was a small wooden table where a batch of still-steaming fresh baked cookies was put for them, with a glass of milk for the android and a glass of water for the namekian. It was after much insistence from the old lady that the greenie yielded and accepted to try a bite on the discoid piece of food. A second later, he was thanking himself he did it. Hell… these things were good. If namekians ever are given the need to eat food to survive, then may Porunga bless them with unlimited amounts of Earthling cookies. – “Hahaha! I see you really like them!” – Neka teases the namekian as his hands dig through the tray in an almost zanzoken-ish speed. – “Uh… yeah.. they are pretty good” – The giant responds, then realizing that he was going a little too fast, causing him to blush and lean back in the chair pretending he was full and strikes up some conversation to shroud his embarrassment. – “So Bigby… where are you from?” –
OOC: Nemo just earned a new personality trait. He became addicted to earthling cookies.

"Thank you!" Said Bigby as he was allowed into the home. He sat down lightly into the chair as, you know. He weighed a bit more than normal people with all the metal and electronics inside of him and what not. Bigby's nose twitched a little bit when he smelled the cookies. It was the most evil, unholy recipe he had ever see in all of his days. Double chocklet chip and macadamia nut cookies. He thanked a higher power he did not have Artery's to clog as he took a few onto a small plate along with a tall glass of milk. The androids hands were shaking, ever so slightly as he took a bite of one. Like a starving man binging on lindor truffles it overwhelmed his senses. Oh my god! He spoke to Athan. I FREAKING KNOW RIGHT!? The A.I. responded. Thank that amazing woman who let you utalise her artificial organs as a base. Athan told him. Yeah without her I would have military android organs, which would make this taste like the kind of cookies you buy in packs of twenty that are hard as a rock.
When Bigby was asked the simple question after a few more baked goods and complements to the chef. He washed it down with some milk and wiped his mouth with a napkin as he mulled it over. Before saying. "Well, I was made in the northern capital. Did not want to be a fighting android, so I left and.... Became a fighting android.... Huh.... But I did it to be in charge of myseld!" Said Bigby who had never thought of it objectively like that before. "Tell me about yourself, Earth born and raised? How did you get that bit of scarring on your face? Not to press or anything, you hardly have to answer any of my questions.

Did Bigby just say he was “made”? Well… that would explain the slack of ki signature emanating from him. You know… for being an artificial lifeform and all. According to his story, he was from the North and ended up becoming a fighting machine (literally. Nemo wanted to ask more about Bigby’s past, but it would be common courtesy to exchange information by answering some of the bionic man’s questions as well first. Like Nemo, he threw in the generic “where are you from” question… and of course was quick to inquire about his facial scars. After all, who wouldn’t? ~ “So you are an android… that would explain why I couldn’t feel your ki when you came to me outside. Interesting… As for me, I was born on Planet Namek. It’s a long way from here. Should be weeks of space travelling, depending on your ship’s performance. I kind of miss it actually” ~The namekian seems to drift off for a moment in his memories of his beloved home. It’s been years since he last stepped on the wistful soil of his home world. ~ “Right now I’m currently residing on Earth. I settled in the Eastern Lands, a few miles away from here, by the valley. For a common human it would take hours of travelling in their land ships, but for us it should take a minute fraction of that, provided you know how to fly. You can fly, can’t you?” ~The namekian inquires. Then it was time to answer the question about his iconic markings. ~ “Well… These?” ~ The greenie sofltly places his hands over his disfigurement, running it down, looking at the floor for a moment. ~ “These are not simply scars” ~ Nemo responds still looking away. He then raises his head to stare at his new acquaintance once again. He interlocks his fingers. ~ “These are memories. They allow me never to forget. I apologize for my rudeness, but I will take upon your concession of me not answering all your questions concerning this particular matter. Perhaps in another moment… for now, we’re just acquaintances. It’s not some thing I’m willing to share at the time being” ~ The plantslugman respectfully dodges Bigby’s question. ~ “So… you told me you were made in the North. Who created you and why, if you allow me to ask” ~

Told you so Bigby said to Athan after the Namekian described his facial scars. "Yeah Namekians are fairly common on the earth. Sorry that place.... You know.... Yeah." Said Bigby, thinking on the fact that the entire peaceful planet of Namek had been blown sky high. "Anyhow, yes I have propulsion in my feet that let me fly. I'm pretty good at it I'd say." Bigby raised his leg with great flexibility so that the Namekian would be able to see slots in his shoes open up to reveal the jet's. They looked powerful, yet well controlled. When the Namekian went and brought up who he was made by Bigby was put between a rock and a hard place. He was hardly going to tell him that he was the A.I. made by Omnicorp that made a body with their equipment before busting out with a butload of other A.I's in tow. That would not be that bad, but the fact that he killed the entire news crew that was attempted to get footage of him was nasty. He was also not looking for anyone to trace him back to his blue banner army betraying days. Although some people might say he was actually doing a good thing, he certainly was doing it for all the wrong and selfish reasons he could. "Well I have to plead the same case as with your scars. It's.... Personal and I'm looking to put that time behind me."
"So you were kind of surprised that I was an android huh? Yep, technology is advancing every day. A human looking android is not so rare any more. Want to know the real kicker? I'm not even eight years old. That's insane huh? A.I's develop faster than organic's, cause they don't need to grow to do so."

There; a bit of information that would turn out to be crucial to Nemo’s story. Let me explain why… Bigby didn’t know, but the nostalgic memories that drifted the namekian away were of an existing New Namek. With that I mean that he missed the planet because he has been years away from it due to his patrolman dutis. Not patrolman as in earthling cop, but patrolman as in Galactic Patrol agent. Not that Bigby had any idea about that. The same way Nemo had no idea that New Namek has been blown up by Vi-Poi recently, as he was already away from Planet Mars, meaning he wouldn’t get updates on the universe’s current events other than the ones happening on Earth, since he vowed to protect it. Naturally, once Bigby seems to suggest something happened at Namek (or in this case more specifically TO Namek), Nemo interrupts Bigby’s dialogue by making the obvious question: ~ “’Sorry that place’? No.. I don’t know what you mean. Has something happened in there?” ~
OOC: This thread literally is "Learning, in a different way"!!!
This is a major plot point for discovering what happened to Namek. I wanted it to be a player-given lore rather than something I wrote solo about. And you just awarded me that story milestone^^
It's funny how a thread meant to be something more subtle like an interaction between two characters can develop into something much bigger. Definetely this will put Bigby in a highlight on Nemo's Plot/Relationships page.

ooc: Wow! That's cool! Bigby has been needing some new relationships as well.
".......................Oh...." Said Bigby.
"It's just been so recent, I guess you would not have heard." The android said slowly. Athan was quiet. In the back of his mind the A.I. could only think, how does one even tell someone else something like this? That their peaceful home, the place they grew up, the place they were raised. Was gone. Destroyed by a crazy android for no reason other than just to do it. There was no use holding back, the best thing would just be to let it all out there.
"Namek is gone, it was completely destroyed by the android at the head of what was once the blue banner army, Vi-Poi. I could hardly believe it myself when I found out. I'm very sorry for your loss Nemo." The android displayed multiple headlines and articles on the subject that had reached the earth via a hologram from his eyes. To make sure that there was no question over weather he was lieing or not.

The android proceeded to do the revelation that would turn the namekian cop’s world upside down. Namek, his dear home world has been erased from the history of the universe by a mad android called Vi-Poi. Upon taking the notice, the namekian abruptly stands up from the armchair. ~ ”What!?” ~ The greenie lets out, skeptically. He then remains froze in place, as if he just suffered a stroke. He feels like if the safe ground beneath his feet was negated and he was floating in an unreal dimension filled with despair. His heart contorts inside his chest; he finally comes around. ~"No… No no no…. You’re lying!” ~The desperate alien shakes his head madly, refusing to believe the words of the android. It was then that Bigby provides some more overview on the matter, showing him reports and articles by creating a hologram through his eyes, reproducing the compilation of information in front of the greenie’s eyes as in order to guarantee the veracity of the fact. It doesn’t take much for old Neka to interpret what happened, seeing her living room illuminated with the holographic images. She looks at the alien cop with a tender look, as that of a grandma worried about a grandson. The alien approaches the illusory images and places his hands over the projection, causing the hologram to flicker as he sees the image of New Namek. He then clenches his fist. Unbelievable anger builds within the namekians heart, clouding his sight. A vein bulges on his scalp as his expression transfigures into hatred. ~ “AAAAAAAAAH!” ~ The alien finally verbally lets out his frustration, rocketing through Lady Neka’s window and into the skies. The strong winds of the sudden power surge knocking furniture and cookies all over the place. If Bigby would follow him, he would eventually figure out he was heading to his home.

Bigby stood up on his two feet as soon as Nemo did this, there was no way to expect what a man would do if you turned his entire world upside down. He spoke to Lady Neka. "Thank you miss! I have to go after him now." He ran to the window that was just broken, Bigby hopped through it. But rather than jetting off immediately after the Namekian the android put his hand on the side of the wall that had the broken window. The shards of glass flew back into position and melded themselves together as the micro tools in his body did their job to unbreak the thing at an atomic level. The ability was massively useful for healing and collateral damage. "I'll come back when everything is said and done! He'll be fine!" With that he rocketed off the ground after the Namekian. He was much faster than him, and by following his life energy he cought up to him fast.
