Outer Space Training

Having just mastered his new ability of liquefying oxygen so that he could survive for a while in the outer space, Natto faced a very tense situation: a meteorite shower that was about to reach Planet Vegeta. If it managed to hit it would cause some damage to the already wrecked ancient tuffles ruins, which wasn’t much of a big deal to Natto, since he didn’t care about the history of those hated enemies of the saiyans, but he didn’t want it to cause any destruction to the Planet itself. Other than that, it was a golden opportunity to train both his ability to function on the outer space by pushing himself into some life or death situation, while also functioning as a very unpredictable training partner: Natto couldn’t sense the meteorites or detect it with his scouter, which means that he would have to focus entirely on his normal senses in order to avoid being hit by one of those fearsome icy rocks. If one of them managed to hit him hard enough on the chest area, he could lose his breath and die a fools death in the outer space. ”That would be a shitty fate for a super saiyan…” he nervously chuckled with that though.

Natto expanded his bright gold super saiyan ki aura, reaching for his full potential as he kept in mind everything that was dear to him, such as his Empire, his race, and the girl he chose as his significant other, Tomoroko. He was determined not to die and keep on improving his power level and fighting prowess, to become the ultimate warrior, and protector of the saiyans. This training in the outer space was another limit he had reached and had to break. Once again he had to do the impossible and become stronger and more fit to survive. Life wasn’t easy and he knew that pretty well, therefore he couldn’t give up due to the risk. ”If I’m to die here… Then I’m useless! I will prevail once again! And keep on pushing myself forward forever! I will never stop! It is the promise I’ve made!” and with that, he assumed his battle stance by putting his left leg to the front, turning his body slightly to the right side, with his left hand in front of his mouth area, slightly opened, and his right hand with clenched fists, arm to the side of his body and bent elbow.

– Come at me, meteor shower!! – he shouted to the icy rocks that were unable to hear him, but seemed like they were answering his challenges. The intense space training had begun.

The first thing Natto did was to bring his arms to the side of his body, charging up his ki rather quickly to form small energy spheres, blue in color, on both of his hands. Then, he started throwing his hands forward, one after the other, as he rapidly fired many energy blasts. ”Continuous Energy Bullet!!!” he shouted inside his mind, in order to save his breath, as he started his attack. The attack consisted of a quick, widespread volley of ki blasts, destroying a lot of upcoming meteorites. His speed was impressive as he was determined not to let any of the rocks to escape him and, at first he managed to hit them one by one. However, as the meteor shower continued to approach, to attack them one by one wasn’t going to work, and he had to change his tactics.

”It is not going to work… I need to improve my attacks… I know what to do!” he smirked with the corner of his mouth as he traced his new strategy, that was almost the same as the one he was using, but with much more potential. He once again brought his arms to the side of his body, charging his blue colored ki energy, and started throwing his hands forward, one after the other, as he rapidly fired a barrage of fiery blue-colored energy spheres. ”How about this?! Finish Breaker!!!” he once again shouted inside his mouth while starting his new attack.

This time he wasn’t pinpointing a single meteorite. Instead, he was firing around a concentration of icy rocks, making his energy sphere hit one of them and then blowing. The area of the explosion would take care of destroying plenty of other meteorites that were nearby, and the tactics was much more effective now. ”Good! It’s working perfectly!” his smirked widened as he kept on firing his attack over and over again, causing a lot of explosions on the space. One very weird thing about it was that there was no sound at all. The silence of it seemed too odd for him, that had never been in the outer space before, outside of his own attack ball, flying towards a planet to conquer, or back home, to Planet Vegeta. ”It’s so silent… It is almost… Peaceful!” he thought to himself, doing his best to remain focused on such a dead silence.

After a while firing his Finish Breaker, it started tiring him, and the meteor shower was nowhere near ending. It didn’t scare him, actually, as he didn’t want it to be so easy that it would take him just a couple minutes to finish the training; he wanted more challenge and that was what it was offering him. He ceased his barrage of energy spheres after that, feeling a little drained. He had to give his body some time before using another ki attack. ”Time for some melee!” and with that thought, he charged against the almost infinite rain of meteorites. Natto used all of his amazing speed to attack the icy rocks with his fists, shattering them to dusts with every blow. After a while he also started using his legs to kick them and was moving like a deadly hurricane, attacking at all directions as he got to the middle of the meteor shower itself. He was doing an incredible job on destroying all of them, while avoiding get hit. He would move his body quickly to avoid a meteorite, and then he would immediately counter it with an attack powerful enough to obliterate it.

He was doing great, but things were starting to overwhelm him as the meteorites started increasing in number, as it was getting close to the most massive part of it. ”Damn! They are too many… But my ki energy is back to normal! Let’s show those stones who is the boss here!!” with that in mind, he destroyed the other meteorites nearby and flew backwards quickly, to gain some time. Natto charged his ki energy into his left hand, engulfing it in a flame-like blue colored energy and, as soon as it charged, he charged towards a meteorite, throwing a powerful energy punch at it. ”Taste my Tyrant Lancer!!” he announced his attack to himself only, inside his mind. The shockwave of the energy punch made the meteorites nearby to shatter to pieces. Just after he did that, he opened his palm and fired a powerful energy wave that destroyed all meteorites on its path. While he did that, he started charging his energy again, on his right hand in the same fashion as before, only this time the flame-like energy on his hand was much bigger and fiercer.

Natto turned his body and threw a monstrous energy punch on another meteorite, that came by his other side, like it was trying to avoid him, and, with that, he fired an even bigger and more powerful energy wave, destroying everything on its path. ”Want more?! How about my Super Tyrant Lancer!!!” he was getting rather excited to be able to go all out without the risk of destroying the planet. It felt really good. With that Natto cleaned a lot of the meteorites, but the meteor shower wasn’t even close to end. ”This would do a real damage if it reached the planet! What are the odds?... If I didn’t think about this training, no one would be able to predict it or even stop it in time… Maybe the guardian of Planet Vegeta is really looking forward to us!” he thought to himself, thinking about a way to destroy the damn meteorites. Natto had an idea that made him chuckle. He charged towards the meteorite shower, destroying a few meteorites, but ignoring most of them, dodging them using his Rapid Movement, as he aimed to get deep inside of the shower. It seemed like suicide if someone was watching him doing that, but he actually had a plan.

As he got deep inside of it, he immediately bursts out ki from all over his body, in order to destroy the meteorites nearby. ”Energy Wave! But… It’s still not enough!” he grimaced as he saw that there was still plenty of meteorites around him. His energy wave was powerful, but not enough. Natto doubled his body, almost like he was about to hold his knees, as he charged his ki energy inside of him. The energy started appearing outside of his body as golden colored lightning bolts, infused with his super saiyan energy and, when the meteorites got near him, he exploded the energy out of his body with a gigantic yellow-colored energy sphere around his body, full of lightning sparkles on it, obliterating all nearby meteorites to space dust. ”Super Explosive Wave!!!! Turn to dust, damn stones!!!” he shouted inside his mind as he used the powerful attack. Natto felt a little tired after that, but his body was doing pretty great with his Atmos ability, and he would still be able to endure it for some hours before his air reserves depleted. ”Now I’ve got to take care of the ones I ignored!” he knew he couldn’t his Break Cannon or his Mouth Blast, as it would risk releasing the air he was holding on his lungs, but he had to throw a powerful attack to cause some serious explosion. His best option was his Spirit Cannon.

Natto put his hand forward and charged a blue energy sphere on it. Then he drew his arm back and after that he threw it forward again, firing the powerful energy sphere towards the meteorites that missed him on his way to use the energy wave. ”Go, Spirit Cannon!” the explosion was very big, but not enough the vaporize all of them, so he repeated the motion, gritting his teeth. ”This damn stones, mocking my attack!” he was a little bit frustrated, so he made sure to put some more energy on his hand, and launched a huge energy sphere towards the same direction. ”Mock me now! Super Spirit Cannon!!!” he shouted in anger inside his mouth, completely wiping out all of the meteorites that approached the planet with the enormous explosion of his strengthened ki attack. His ki energy needed some time to get back to its full capacity again, and, as he looked back towards the direction of the meteor shower, he saw an impressive meteor coming towards him. ”Oh my… This is a tough one! And there are tons of other rocks beside that… I need some time to recover and to charge my attack…” he decided as he stared at the impending threat.

Natto flew backwards quite a lot, until he touched the exosphere of Planet Vegeta once again. The huge meteor and his smaller siblings were approaching quickly, but he had recovered enough to use his most powerful ki attack. Once again Natto puts his hand forward and charges a large blue energy sphere. Then he draws his arm back charging the sphere again to make it huge, and then he brings his hand forward and fires the attack at the gigantic meteor. ”Taste my finishing move! My most powerful attack! FINAL SPIRIT CANNON!!!!” putting all of his mastered super saiyan power into that attack, Natto fired his huge energy sphere, that hit the meteor with a power level of over three million, completely obliterating it and the nearby meteorites to space dust. The area of the explosion was so enormous, that its shockwave could be felt on Planet Vegeta too, as a little tremor that almost became an earthquake.

The young saiyan was pretty tired after that, having used all of his power to obliterate and put an end into that damn meteorite shower. For a while it seemed like it was over and, after waiting for a couple minutes, he smiled and started hovering backwards into the atmosphere, but, when he approached the exosphere again, he looked back just in case and saw that the meteor shower wasn’t nearly over: his Final Spirit Cannon destroyed a large area where it exploded, but it wasn’t big enough to engulf all of the meteor shower as it still had quite a lengthy area to cover. ”You’ve gotta be kidding me!” he frowned his eyebrows as he stared at that damn shower. He had to use an energy wave type of attack, otherwise he would waste his energy by having to cause a lot of explosions in order to get rid of all the meteorites, but, by his calculations, he had to put a lot of power into it and that was pretty much all the power he had left.

”But there’s a catch… I don’t have any energy wave as strong as my Final Spirit Cannon… So what am I supposed to do?!” he thought, feeling a little helpless now. ”Unless…” he arched one of his eyebrows as he stared at the impending threat. ”Unless I manage to put all of my remaining energy to launch a full powered Shine Trigger, that can even surpass the Super Shine Trigger and become another finishing move… I could really use that now, and add it into my arsenal!” it was possible to enhance the strength of his Super Shine Trigger if he managed to put all of his remaining strength into that attack. If he managed to fire a powerful energy wave, then it would most likely destroy all of the remaining meteor shower, since the mother of all of its meteorites had already been vaporized. He had to try it and it was probable that after he did that he had to immediately fly back into the planet atmosphere, since he would use all of his remaining strength and his Atmos ability wouldn’t hold it much longer.

Closing his eyes, he started gathering all of his remaining strength. His lungs were starting to burn with the end of its capacity. Truth be told, Natto’s ability to liquefy the oxygen was quite good now. If he was to be still, just flying around at a normal speed, he would be able to resist the outer space for days. But to be fighting required the oxygen he blood carried and drained his lungs at a much faster pace and he had to take that into account. With training he would be able to harvest all of his potential and, with that, be very likely able to remain in a more active condition for much longer, but that wasn’t the case now. Now he had to vaporize that meteor shower with just another attack, as it was the last thing he would be able to do.

With that in mind Natto draws his right hand back to his right side and charged an energy sphere on his hand. It was red colored, since this attack was first created when he thought about Tomoroko, making it the color of her ki aura. He did so on a subconscious level and he was really glad he did. ”More energy…” he focused his ki energy on his hand, making another energy sphere of the same size to appear and, again, he forced himself to create another, forming three big red energy spheres on his hand, which merged into a huge energy sphere. ”That’s it! I can feel its power! It’s just like the Final Spirit Cannon! That’s perfect! It will most definitely do the job!!” he thought to himself. Natto smiled proud of himself, as he got ready to fire his attack. Then, he brought his hand forward and fired the energy sphere in the form of an enormous energy wave at the meteor shower. ”This is it! It cannot get stronger than that!!! This is… My… FINAL SHINE ATTACK!!!!!” he shouted inside his mind, with his lungs burning due to the air on them being almost over. The powerful energy wave engulfed all of the remaining meteorites, vaporizing them until nothing of it remained.

The threat to Planet Vegeta was gone, and Natto had just been through a very intense training session. He smiled with the result, but just as he did that he felt completely dizzy, like he was about to faint. ”Dammit! I’m almost out of time!!” alerted by the fact of his air reserves running out, he flared his bright gold ki aura around his body and started flying back into the atmosphere. He almost didn’t make it in time. Natto was losing his consciousness as he reached the stratosphere and, there, he automatically inhaled some air. It didn’t do him much good, since the oxygen wasn’t nearly enough, making his eye sight to go black. ”Come on! I’m on the planet already!” with that, his hair got back to his normal disheveled pitch black self, as did his eyes. His golden ki aura completely vanished, and he almost fainted. He wasn’t flying anymore, he was just falling from the skies.

Luckily, Natto landed on the wasteland, a few miles from the ancient tuffles ruins and outside of the area of radiation. The crater he made as he landed was huge and he felt the pain all over his body before finally fainting completely.

After some hours, he woke up, slowly opening his eyes. It was already nighttime when he got back up, cleaning the dust on his battle suit. His body was into a lot of pain and it was hard to breath, but nothing a few hours on a healing pod wouldn’t take care of. – Dammit… Being in space is terrible! But it’s an important skill to master… Especially since our greatest enemies are a space dwelling jerks, that can breathe in space! Damn changelings! – he complained as he took a deep breathe, making a grimace as he did it. Satisfied with his training, he started walking towards Cacumber Capital, letting his body stretch for a bit before flying through the skies of Vegeta. His destination was a healing pod on the medical sector of the palace, where he could heal his body and his lungs. Especially his lungs.
