Queen Zucceta had allowed for the Red Eclipse to establish a base of operations in Cacumber Capitol when they arrived on Vegeta a month ago. When the arrangements were being made, Kouda simply asked for a large hangar to accommodate and refuel his and his comrades’ spaceship, the Golden Fox. Kouda had also requested for its location to be hidden from public, only knowledgeable to Zucceta and her closest allies. Kouda was a cautious soul and after living his youth as an arcosian spy, he knew the importance of details.
The good doctor had formally invited the royal advisor he had met the other day in Zucceta’s palace. A strange saiyan with unique features Kouda had never seen before in saiyans. This royal advisor seemed to be quite intelligent in his own research that was based on Vegeta. This ‘Icarus’ was given the coordinates of the Golden Fox’s hangar. The hangar was fairly old. Antiquated war machines of forgotten conflicts took up the rest of the space that the Golden Fox did not use. There was a trail of blood that had been stained on the stone floor from the hangar’s entrance all the way towards the Golden Fox. These stains were the results of very unwilling specimens Messengers had dragged in from Zucceta’s dungeons.
As of recent, Kouda and Xylo were toiling away on an experiment of their own. Due to the interesting information they had learned of recent, the breeding was accelerating. The hangar was where the ‘offspring’ where allowed to roam in when Kouda released them from ship. The creatures left a very thick mucus layer wherever they moved. The creatures would roam around the hangar devouring any wild animal or intruder found in the hangar. Kouda knew the dangers of invasive species so he made sure they remained within either the ship or hangar. For tonight, however, the creatures were kept within the lab. It seemed that almost everything in the hangar was now covered and dripping in the strange mucus. The substance was harmless, Kouda made sure of it. It might make movement sluggish wading through it but Kouda had a pathway cleaned for Icarus to walk through.
The entrance ramp of the colossal fork-shaped spaceship was lowered, causing a cloud of fog to roll into the misty air of the abandoned hangar. Kouda, a young human woman with curly purple hair and clothed in Messenger garments, and 6 other red robed messengers began marching down the ramp where they waited for their guest.

[Weighted PL 14,712 Max PL is 58,849] [Also will be attempting upgrade and learning Enhanced metamorphoses [SU] -pending its approval] Icarus was eager to meet with the good doctor as certain things were in need of discussing. Icarus needing a personal meeting to see how he himself would trust these allies of the empire. Reference only was worth so much but a personal meeting of a bit more formal way was good measure. Plus as of late his most recent adjustments to his body were wearing on him. He'd had a error in his systems that resulted as a cough and some problems in synthetic organs. His body in an attempt at a synthetic machine. some ways mechanical some ways artificial organic. His brain at this point had been fully integrated as synthetic though even if he still considered himself a man and not merely a machine. His body was that of a saiyan and he'd been... trying to keep the way his body was starting to have troubles from his allies. It was merely problems he wasn't able to fix himself and saibamen could only do so much. His body looked of a saiyan this day but with the black eyes of a Tuffle A cough accompanying him as well as his cheeks and skin around his eyes were blue with blemishes of his programs malfunctioning. His breathing lightly raspy as well. He need skilled hands to tinker in him and help the old functions kick up to power to start working well with the newer tech he'd been adding. The Tuffle tech was high grade but spent years inactive when he was in a shut down hibernation of sorts. Like a old ship with potential but needing the hands of a mechanic... or Doctor he'd prefer to call it. Kaula had been asked to come Icarus even explained the situation to her. Wanting to discuss things with Kouda but foremost ask the doctors aid. The fear however of being... in a vulnerable state he needed someone he could trust with him. Vennel was hard to reach of late and Kaula and Radasha were in truth perhaps his only friends or closest to the word at least. Kouda would see some programs to mimic claws and other monstrous features in program not yet activated that needed some tech and data added. It was as well open to a bit more work hoping Kouda would supply such aid. The first impressions would be interesting to say the least. Old machines of war and battle all about an eye catching to Icarus. The blood stains not so much. Last time he was here he met that interesting creature Kouda had working for him... hopefully Kouda was not informed of his little sneaking attempt. It was lightly eerie and Icarus was watchful at the man and his entourage glad he'd asked for aid to be with him after all. " Thanks for accompanying me... I was. Foolish to think I could have done all the work myself." Gulping taking a moment to speak to Kaula before this group was in ear shot. " This worries me... I've never trusted someone with what I am about to... I'm glad you are here." He'd say warmly clearly a little nervous and scared before reaching Kouda and once in talking distance. Would offer a hand. Some of the blue blemishes on his face lightly morphing and moving as if living mutations or some form of skin irritant. " Dr. ... We have... Much to discuss." He'd say his eyes triggering x-rays curious if this guards of his had any hidden weapons. A hand lightly pressing to his own chest as he offered a hand to shake Kouda's " I was glad you invited me I desire greatly to ensure personally that we can have a mutually beneficial relationship with both our groups tech as well as our forces. But if I ma be so bold... I have some personal requests.... A need of your skills I've read about in reports." He' say eyes drifting over the entourage now and again careful. Tiny white pupils in the deep black of his eyes. Kaula

[Thread PL: 112,701][Heavy Weights on]
Kaula, however, wasn't as eager. She seemed almost a bit on edge, considering his organization. She knew very little of it, but what she knew.. She wasn't happy with. Back on Earth, she swore to destroy the group since they had been allied with that Majin fool; Komoto, as he had attacked her home there. And that is something she wouldn't forgive. However, upon trying to investigate their whereabouts there, she hadn't really found anything, that is until she had gone to Queen Zucceta's meeting on Earth. She had seen the cloaked one there, and he had said something to her. She couldn't remember what, but she was still weary about them, and was still trying to look into them. Little did she know, which she had recently found out, that they had left Earth then. The girl, however, sighed when Icarus had asked for her help. Sure, he was making her equipment and all.. But she almost didn't want to deal with the Red Eclpse. Still, she feared for her little Tuffle friend, so she agreed to go with him.
She tugged on her fingerless gloves as she glanced around the hanger as she moved with the scientist. "It's no problem.." she muttered as her emerald eyes focused on the blood stains for the time being, her nose wrinkling slightly. "It's okay. If they try somethin' funny.. I'll punch them. There isn't a lot of people who can stick up to my power on this planet. So I doubt these people will be a problem." The girl said with a huff. She glanced down to him, however, when he offered his hand. She sighed and seemed to roll her eyes, but she'd slip a hand into his to grip it. Sure, she ment well trying to comfort him and all; but the end results was his hands possibly hurting from her tight grip.
However, when the doctor and the messangers made their grand entrance, the girl quickly let go, staring up at them. She brought a hand up to start running her fingers through her hair. "Don't mind me. Ya should know I'm.. Suspicious of your organization, so I am here to make sure my friend here..." she paused to bring a hand up to pat at Icarus, "Is in good hands." Kaula explained as she stared at Kouda, her eyes narrowing a bit.

[Icarus could see that there a wrist blaster weapons under the sleeves of the Messengers] Kouda watched as Icarus entered through into the hangar. Walking beside him was another person. Icarus had not mentioned bringing another person with him. An outside variable. Damn. The good doctor focused his eyes and got a better look at the stranger. It was the super saiyan warrior from the palace. Kouda could instantly recognize her distinct stare. With each enclosing step, her overgrown hair bounced. Kouda glanced at his guards giving them signal to be at ease. Icarus was holding on to her hand. Kouda did not know what to make of this but he could assume that the saiyan was going to stay very close to this Icarus. The young saiyan greeted Kouda and requested a service of some kind from him. "Oh. Requests? Interesting..." The saiyan girl was fiddling with her hair when she spoke up about why she had come to escort Icarus. Kouda turned to look at her. Kouda held the stare, searching her eyes. He had dealt with countless tongues of diplomats all of his life and the result was a habit of tasting for venom in people's words. A smile gradually sprouted on his face. "I'm sure you have your reasons," Kouda replied to Kaula's suspicions, " but I assure you. You brought Icarus to the right place..." Kouda then immediately frowned and swiftly turned around, swishing his red cloak around with him. The messenger guards parted an opening for Kouda and his guests to pass through. "Come. This is a rather dank place to get to know one another. We can become more intimate within my quarters." The messenger with long straight purple hair chewed away at a piece of bubblegum. She glanced at the two saiyans and puckered her lips. A large pink bubble emerged from her mouth. While she held the bubble, she motioned for the saiyans to follow her and Kouda. If the saiyans decided to enter the ship, the door behind them would slowly close. The walls and floor of the Golden Fox appeared to be made out of some alien obsidian-like material. The edges that traced along the halls were long vibrant streaks of neonlight. Throughout the ship, there was a constant bed of fog that reached up to Kouda's knees. Kouda made sure to take a route around the quarters of his 'associates'. The guests needed to see only what Kouda would allow them. "This is my loyal agent. Her human name is 'Ghidra'. She is quite skilled at what she does..." Kouda quickly remarked, referring to the long purple haired messenger following behind the guests. After traversing through the maze of corridors, they arrived at the door to Kouda's lab. The door was sealed but a large robotic eye was on the center of the door. It moved frantically as it hastily analyzed each of the persons' faces. The door slid open with a hiss and Kouda entered the first chamber of his lab. The chamber was a tall cylindrical room with several rotating platforms in the air and a large cylindrical tank in the center. The tank contained a strange vine like plant that was constantly rotating. Eventually the vine would split into three separate vines but the two weakest vines would fall off, leaving the surviving vine to engulf its fallen brethren. The cycle would constantly repeat and to an average observer, it seemed that the strongest vine was always random in each cycle. Occasionally, a metal claw would emerge from the ceiling and pick off a giant syringe from the wall and inject the tank with a different substance each time. "It's quite an adaptive species. Very capable of being transformed by vectors. It's quite fascinating. I have been studying regeneration for quite some time..." Kouda's eyes twinkled as he stared at the vine, "...a piece of the puzzle.""They probably don't care" Ghidra mumbled, chewing away at her gum. Kouda passed the tank and continued on to the second chamber. The second chamber was another cylindrical like room like the first one. Instead of countless giant syringes lining the walls of this room, giant specimen tanks were attached along the wall. Whatever they contained was obscured by the cloudy substance that filled the tanks. On the floor of the room was a circular computer panel. Within the strange desk, a young namekian was sitting atop of a hovering platform of some kind in a meditative position. He was not meditating, however, but dissecting what appeared to be a namekian antenna underneath his microscope. "I believe you've met my assistant, Guit, before. He had accompanied me to the Queen's palace not long ago. Guit....introduce yourselves to our guests." Guit was startled when Kouda had spoken. Although Guit had some form of innate ki sense, he was focusing his own ki on whatever he was doing. Guit removed the glasses from his face and looked over at the two saiyans. He appeared to be blushing a purple hue and began rubbing the back of his head. "...I...uh...well you know...um...yeah" Guit stammered. "Such a poet" Ghidra remarked, rolling her eyes. Guit narrowed his eyes and appeared slightly flustered. "My name is Guit. I, uh, work here. You were there the other day. At the castle. I saw what you did. It was...amazing. I've never seen anyone like you," Guit smiled at Kaula. Guit then glanced at Icarus' eyes. "Forgive me for asking but your eyes...did your family have eyes like those...I need to know for-" "Surveys. Research. That sort of thing," Kouda quickly cut him off, "well, I suppose we'll be leaving you to your work, Guit. Ghidra, stay here and...give Guit here some company." Kouda began walking to the door to the next chamber when Ghidra bursted the bubble she was currently blowing. "What you mean is 'Ghidra, stand guard at the door in case the saiyans try something funny'" Ghidra mocked Kouda. "Ghidra! Really?! Why?!" Kouda barked angrily. "'Geera! Weary! Wah!" Ghidra imitated Kouda. Kouda slapped the palm of his claw against his forehead and growled. "Alright, moving on" Kouda grumbled, motioning his guests to follow him through the door into the next chamber. Ghidra stayed behind in the second chamber with Guit. She appeared to be leaning over the computer console and speaking to him. Kouda shut the door behind him. The next chamber was large rectangular room with several vaults, healing tanks, and large computer consoles. At the center of one of the walls was large cylindrical specimen tank. Within it, a blond haired human floated within it with several cords attached around his body. He appeared to be sleeping within the bubbling fluid. At one corner of the lab, was a round decorative table with Litt drawings of a large serpent creature on it. On the table were teapots and cups. Next to the table was a loft slightly above the ground. On the loft was a circular bed with pillows of various cloths. There appeared to be some strange alien books scattered among the bed. "This is my personal laboratory and quarters. Make yourselves comfortable. Come, come" While Kouda was walking to the dining table, one the vault doors swung open and a trio of giant, green slug monsters slithered out of the vault. They surrounded Kouda who appeared to be keeping his eyes on all of them. "Whatever you think you're doing, stop now. We have guests. They are not food. I repeat, do not eat them," Kouda commanded them. Kouda then called out to his guests "Worry not, these are simply Namekians. They're just hungry." The slug creatures seemed to be understanding what Kouda was saying as they stopped in their mucus tracks. "Very good. There are some exercises I have for you today," Kouda said, booping a button on his wrist pad. A pipe from the ceiling dropped a glass sphere on to the floor while a few vents began opening on of the walls. The slug creatures then squirmed towards the ball and began cooperating to place the ball in all of the vents. "Ignore them for now. Proug, Jent, and Goom don't like staying in their chambers for long. That's why the hangar outside is such a mess," Kouda tsked. Kouda then plopped himself down on one of the chairs began pouring green tea into stone cups. "This a beverage I discovered on Earth. The humans call it "Tea". From what I understand, the humans brew tea as a display of gratitude. An odd people." Kouda then glanced at the long haired saiyan. "I don't think we've had a...proper introduction. My name is Kouda Zeddar. I admire your...hair. Its quite the trait. I think it's rather interesting how you can turn it golden at will"Kouda pulled down the hood of his cloak, revealing the row of orange feathers at the top of his head. "You two...are certainly an interesting pair of saiyans." A long thin snake like tongue darted into his cup of green tea and retracted. "Are you from Vegeta? You seem quite unique, unlike its other inhabitants. Were you on Earth with Zucceta during her exile?" Kouda inquired, narrowing his eyes. Kouda waited for their answer while he observed the namekians and their progress with their activity. After the ball was placed in each of the vents under the target time, a yellow mushy ball plopped down from the pipe. The namekians slithered over to it and began slurping at it. "You wanted to make a request of some kind? You can say that I'm...very interested in whatever you have to say..." Kouda said to Icarus in an almost hushed tone.

Icarus was flattered with a smile at Kaula's words and abrupt way of pointing out she was only here to protect him. Pointing at him to ensure they knew that. She was a truly energetic and capturing warrior. A good friend truly to have close in times like this. His eyes drifting over the weapons as well of these messengers seeing nothing that didn't merit normal gear. It didn't seem like they were perhaps over readied with something that would imply treachery. But he did feel a light inkling to keep ready and watchful to be sure. He wouldn't simply wave off Kaula's distrust of them until he was sure himself they could possibly be allies. Kouda was one thing alone but his whole organization was a different story.
Icarus did feel a bit nervous a shiver down his shoulders as his black eyes and blue blemishes on his flesh seemed to contort and twist on his face as the soldiers parted and formed a opening for them. To kouda's personal quarters there were headed but he didn't expect so formal introductions. As well as a meeting squad at the ready. Perhaps they were simply here for Kouda's protection just as Kaula was here for Icarus's. A light warrior was still in his head before he was over taken with cough briefly. The palm of his glove was coated in a silvery fluid as he pulled his hand away. Slipping it under his cloak as if to hide it. He couldn't appear weak. His saiyan friends may find him a coward for it. His mind thought in its current worried state. His body suffering problems presently old tech working with new as some parts were failing in his synthetic inner workings. Trying to keep this to himself. Merely smiling at Kaula before continuing forward. Walking between the warriors that were about not making eye contact besides to the purple haired woman. For but a moment at the casual way some of these messengers seemed to act. Her face captured internally in picture in his data. Faces to remember for later dates. He'd speak lightly during the walk. Clearing his throat first as to show no weakness in his voice. His boy was made to keep him feeling as if he was a living being. He would feel pain instead of seeing warnings from his systems. Feel aches in his head from over worked scanners. Sick when his programs were being invaded. Icarus decided to never be fully what one would refer to as, A machine. "Forgive me for the surprise of my companion Kouda. But a guard I feel was needed... just encase. She is perhaps the one of only less then a handful I would trust myself to in such care. Know she holds my respect and confidence." He would respect her choices if this got to dangerous and if they needed to leave. A light headed sensation was almost making him regret his organic simulations now. Or the way his body worked to show there was internal danger. Shaking his head a few times. He took the girls name to note as well as introduction was made.
The ship was a spectacle to him that he actually desired to look upon with normal vision. It was a strange but intriguing place to the mind of a scientific being such as himself. There were tanks with strange plants and projects ongoing. Icarus hadn't the feeling of wellness to take these into heavy study with his programs of spying presently. He would merely look back at Kaula looking to her reactions not sure himself what to make of this. He didn't want to judge as he knew projects often when viewed by outsiders could be seen as strange or worrisome to those who did not understand as a creator did. But he still couldn't but be in light awe of these strange plants and cylinders. "Looks like you have your hands full..." Regarding all the things in work.
A namekian at work at something as well soon crossed path. Icarus glancing at him merely more so to x-ray the internals and gather pictures for data. Briefly and not too focused on detail at the moment but not wanting to pass up the opportunity. He gathered a few photos of the vines too but he was in no shape for grade A work at the moment. Icarus merely peered up at the mention of his eyes. Following the conversation considering to answer but Kouda seemed to quickly cut off conversation for some reason. He thought it best not to test this. Given one did not rock the boat in the hosts house. However Icarus did chuckle at the companions looking up through the dark of his eyes at her as little white pupils appeared at her with a smile. "My dear... I believe if my friend and I wished to start something funny. You wouldn't need to worry about knowing right away.... Also I love the blaster. A little odd to used such a hidden weapon on a planet of warriors but I imagine it works rather well in various dealings. Do you think it'd do well against a saiyan? Or perhaps other things that wonder on this planet?" Eyes of black would twist and contort as they for a moment were taken by twisting white before black took control again. A illusion by merely triggering a change and canceling but sure it gave the chilling effect he desired as his saiyan tail wrapped firmly around his waste.
As they continued things only got worse however also noted as there were specimens of human variety and tanks of works sketches and all sorts of terminals. This ship was a vessel of research. Creatures were not all locked as well as it seemed as the large slugs were soon upon them around Kouda. Icarus quickly taking a step back feeling his inner systems trying to arm themselves. "Quite a few guards... An specimens on the loose... Are you sure its safe to do business here..." He spoke irritated now. He did not like all this chaos and excitement in present state. Against his better thoughts his sensors were all triggered on even if it was against better judgement. He asked Kaula here it wasn't right to simply let her be in the look out alone with her might.
Even with that situation resolved he still was set off as per the expression on his face that showed quite clearly he was not amused. Icarus would sit down in one of the chairs willing to engage in conversation given he needed it greatly at present. What this man could offer. "Icarus Perigrod. An I am no saiyan... I am.... A anomaly. Lets live at that for now please." In truth Kaula may have noticed he had not used his Tuffle upbringing in conversation in a long time. Ever since he had gotten his last bit of gear from the ruins not even the Saiba's had heard whisper of the past. He had been in saiyan body more and more as well as he... began to try and move on. Or perhaps forget was better to say. He merely chuckled as his sensors were in high work as were all his security measures. From vegeta? Oh how fun that was to hear. Leaving Kaula to answer about her own special features not desiring just yet to fully get into his own before speaking. "I fear we would be here all day. If I had to explain that story."
He'd pick up the cup of tea a silver glint on his palm of the inner fluids that were like blood to his systems. His hand calm however the light headed feeling growing worse however as he held the cup calmly. Looking to Kaula then back to Kouda. "To be blunt... I am not organic in the least anymore. My systems are... ancient you might say. Combined with new technology of modern day. The truly best the saiyan empire can reach and may I remind you they have very long arms that fingers can dig into many pockets for what I desire.... But old tech does degrade with age just as a body slowly loses to age. Even if the process severely varies in the time of the degradation. I..." Coughing a bit as in front of his eyes he started to see various screens popping up his eyes put up images only he could see that hovered before his face warning him of various things. "I need... other hands to fix things. At my deepest levels not just in software.... but surgery. I have new systems as well that are dormant... Not activated you can aid with.... A few things I was hoping you could work on as well if you agree to help me.... I would be in your debt if you use your mind and skill... to upgrade my systems is what I'm saying...." He'd begin to raise the glass to his lips slowly each little pause in speech was a elongated breath. "Me and my friend here... and the SSE... would greatly appreciate it, AS well as remember it."
The cup touched his lips as he tasted only a dab before his systems running from worry pushed him too far. His eyes black as night seemed to laze over in expression and his white skin an the blemishes grew more dark in hint of blue. "Do we... have..." Now it was hard to tell which was the unnatural looking blemish the pale white or the blue tone. He fell forward in a tilt at first before it was clear he wasn't merely leaning as he stopped talking as well. For a brief moment losing his waking mind and falling forward and if no one realized in time he'd crash onto the ground with a thud face down. Regardless of either his lips would be lightly coated from internal leaking out of the silvery fluid that was his systems blood. A system failure was occurring and when that happened various internal synthetic organs also had trouble keeping running. If his boy had been in proper working order the systems could have run more independently like other droids or androids. Less worry from individual sensor loss or a few organs here or there. Icarus had works in the process of perhaps saving his mind if this happened with back up ideas in the works but that wasn't really something he felt safe in testing. For the moment he didn't think much of anything though as for a few moments he'd be out of it passed out and in need of serious aid if it wasn't clear just how badly he needed it now.

Kaula's nose wrinkled again as she had listened to Kouda. Her eyes continued to glance around at the messangers. It was safe to say that this Saiyan didn't trust them - at all. And to be honest, seeing the smile appear on that hooded lizard didn't help her at all. She frowned slightly as she shook her head a bit. She still didn't like this - one bit. The girl huffed out as she moved to follow after Icarus and Kouda, her emerald eyes glancing at the messengers as she moved.
Still, she followed them, glancing around the halls as she moved. She brought a hand up to try to run it along the wall; wanting to get a feel for to object. Was it smooth or rough? Did it feel strong? Eventually she glanced down to the fog. She tilted her head to the side. "So.. What's up with all this..?" she asked as she kicked her right leg up; hoping to kick some of the fog up so he knew what she was asking about. However, upon actually reaching the lab, Kaula started to glance around at the tanks some before she rolled her eyes. It seemed the girl was right, however. She didn't really care about any of that sciency stuff.
The girl continued to follow, glancing into the second chamber to see the Namekian for a moment. She seemed to just stare at him as he seemed to fumble with his words for a while. "Whatever." the girl grumbled as she crossed her arms after getting the compliment; disregarding and ignoring the entire power crush he totally had on her.
However, the woman caught her attention as she spoke out, starting an arguement with her employer. Kaula's lips curled up for a devious grin as she moved closer to her. "Oh. You really think you can stop me..?" she asked as she allowed her power to flair up momentarily. She simply saw this to give her ego a giant stroke. "You and that.. What was it you said, Icarus, some cheap blaster? YOu think that can stop me?"
The Saiyan Hybrid continued to glare at her, trying to establish her dominance before she went to start following the group again. Kaula let out a loud sigh as she began to glance around the room when she arrived. She nearly opened her mouth to speak when she heard the vault open; and those weird monsters appeared. She held an arm out to try to push Icarus back in an attempt to shield him as she raised a fist. A trap! THIS WAS CLEARLY A TRA- Wait, the scientist seemed to be calling them off; however she still seemed to be a bit on guard. "Don't fuckin' look like Namekians.."
Her focus was eventually brought to the blonde human in a tank. She pointed to it, "What's that?" she asked, clearly a bit curious before she continued to glance around the room as she took a seat next to Icarus. "Well. You can call me Kaula." she said as she leaned back, crossing her arms. "And yeah. I'd say I'm one of a kind.. But clearly there's a few others who copy my style." she said with an arogant huff. The girl was fucking suspicious of everything, eyeing the tea as it was poured - thinking it was clearly poisoned.
"But yes, I am from Vegeta." she said with a soft huff, "Granted, I had been sent to Earth for some reasons - I eventually decided to return home to see my.." she let the sentence hang as she glanced to Icarus, who seemed to be wobbling a bit, "My mother.." she continued. It didn't take long, Kaula connected a few lines in her head. Icarus drank the tea - he passed out. The tea was poisoned! Well, it likely wasn't; but that's what she thought. She quickly stood up, pushing the chair back as she did. Green Ki engulfed her right hand, forming a blade as she took a stomp towards Kouda, "THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO HIM!?" she roared out. Well, the woman seemed incredibly pissed. The way a golden aura began to flicker around her; it seemed that she was not playing around. Things might need clearing up.

((This post is being made on the request of Icarus. Sorry Kouda. Maybe next time we can all try again? ))
((Disregard this post ICly, no exit is being made for Kaula and Icarus since Kouda got back to us. But, as Bao said, we get graded for everything. Even retconned posts. So this WC is added to my grade, thank you. <3))Kaula didn't give the doctor a chance to answer after she asked. She raised a strong foot up to try to deliver a strong kick to Kouda to first try to knock him down. If that didn't work, the table probably would. Wait, you wonder why table was said? Well, it's because after the kick, Kaula moved to place her free hand underneath the table and flip it up to throw it at the alien before them. It didn't take her long after that to take Icarus's unconscious body and sling it over her shoulder as her ki blade dissipated. Right now she felt like a fool to potentially trust them. No way would she continue to trust them after this! Nope. Nada. No. No way at all. The girl just rushed out of the room. Right. Which way was it? She glanced around a few moments around the hall a little bit before she went to start running down it. Damn hallways were so similar. All.. Made of the weird alien black material. Still, she'd keep running past various doors. Still, as she moved she'd occasionally punch messengers if she ran past them; not killing them mind you. But they would be in a bit of hurt. It didn't take her long till she had eventually found the same exit. Lucky for the Red Eclipse, as she was getting near the point where she'd blast a hole in the ship's wall. As she started to leave, she glanced back for a moment, "Fuck you guys! I don't fucking trust you!" she shouted out as she continued to run off with her unconscious friend being carried by her. She'd keep running, however, throughout the city, of course. She'd take various twists and turns while also suppressing her power level as, while she likely wasn't being followed.. She just wanted to be safe as they returned back to home, or rather to Radasha's house where they both lived. [exit][PL for me]

The saiyan girl had inquired about the blonde human who was dormant and submerged within a stasis tank.
"Ah, yes. That is my greatest creation. He is called Pah'mazhan. I believe you have seen him before. That night in the Queen's throne room. He is a great warrior and a good friend of mine. He lays dormant in preparation..."
Icarus began mentioning the help he needed. He revealed to Kouda that he was not entirely organic, but more machine. Kouda flinched as he mentioned this. It was a great surprise to him and an even more disappointing one. Kouda had never been quite fond of purely synthetic androids. However, the situation was still interesting to him. An ancient android with modern upgrades. Very interesting but from what Icarus had explained, he was beginning to feel the repercussions now of the mixture of technology. The older technology was on its final leg it seemed.
And Kouda could see it.
Icarus appeared very weakened since the last time Kouda had seen him. As Icarus spoke, he began fading out of consciousness and fell motionless. Kouda immediately stood up, shocked at how critical Icarus' condition actually was. His visit began to make more sense now. The saiyan named Kaula accused Kouda of malevolence, her rage and aura flaring.
"Wait" Kouda spoke, hurrying after Kaula, "your friend...he's in a critical condition. He came here for a reason. I can save him."
"Bringing you in here was just as dangerous for me.... I don't trust you and you don't trust me.....BUT WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO START TRUSTING ONE ANOTHER IF WE WANT TO SAVE ICARUS!!," Kouda pleaded in a very genuine tone.
[Attempting to stop exit]
Kouda began limping over to a control panel on his wall. The mutated namekians slithered away back into their vaults as a beeping sound emitted from within their respective cages. The doors slammed shut and locked behind them. Kouda booped away at it and when the final combination was entered, the room began shifting. Computer consoles and tables full of notes began descending into a chamber below the floor. An operating table rose from the ground and several shelves filled with medical tools and flasks containing different colored solutions rose around the room. The lighting in the room dimmed as a single purple light illuminated over the operating table.
"We mustn't dawdle. Time is fleeting. Place Icarus on the table and we'll begin."
While Kouda waited for Kaula, he placed his arms in a decontamination tank. He wouldn't want anything more to become a factor in this operation. Kouda quickly removed the clothing off of Icarus's unconscious body. The scalpel in Kouda's claw gleamed as he approached Icarus. Thankfully, because the patient was an android, there were several procedures he could skip. His luck would end there though. The systems of androids were typically different based on their model and manufacturer. As Kouda began dragging the blade of the scalpel down Icarus's bare chest, he realized that the technology inside of the android was something he had never seen before.
There was a layer of wired saiyan technology over a strange coil like device beneath it all. There was a strange blue electricity sparking at one end of the coil. It seemed that the batteries of the saiyan tech had melted away, emitting a toxic smell. Icarus had mentioned there were triggers inside him to reactivate his systems but they would be hard to reach.
Kouda tapped away at his wrist pad and a shelf full of batteries slid towards him. He rubbed his chin as he looked for a model that could work with Saiyan tech. He pulled out a couple of new batteries and looked at them. He could repair Icarus but later down the line, the android would suffer the same problem. Kouda furrowed his brow as he contemplated. This was an opportunity to improve Icarus. Make him stronger. Kouda had the technology. While Kouda shooed away the mutated namekians into their vault, he kneeled behind the healing chamber. With a quick tug, Kouda ripped off a panel behind his custom machine. He stirred his claws inside until he found a tube like power unit he had created. Within the tube were two lights shining at each end while the rest of the fluid within were nano cybernetic creatures, invisible to the eye but the energy the tiny machines produced was easy to behold. The aura around the power unit glowed as Kouda moved away from the darkness and closer to Icarus. The magnetic properties of the unit made it almost yank from Kouda's claws and violently smash into Icarus's open chest. The implant was not ready yet and Kouda would have to finish activating Icarus' ancient technology.
"Kaula, I need your help! I'm struggling to hold this power unit and I can't hold on much longer! Take ahold of it! Just until I can finish reactivating him!"
If Kaula could successfully hold back the power unit that was being magnetically pulled into Icarus, Kouda would continue to work on the android. Kouda leaped on top of Icarus and pulled a set of clips and forceps from his lab coat. Holding the roll of metal clips with his tail, Kouda began removing the melted wires away from the battery nodes. Sporadically, old saiyan batteries were thrown across the room as Kouda making his way to the strange coil that lied beneath it all. Kouda took the clips and held all the structures from Icarus back as he carefully slid in a metal prong deep into Icarus.
He began fishing around behind the coil with the prong, feeling an indentation of some kind. He felt a button that seemed to be encrusted and withering away. Moved the prong along the side and pushed the button closer to the center of it's slot while Kouda slowly slithered the tip of his tail behind the coil. He knew his tail would be strong enough to push the button in. Kouda pushed as hard as he could until the tail managed to push the button in, triggering a pulse of blue electricity to surge through the coil. The burst of electricity shocked Kouda as he convulsed from the blue dancing arcs of energy. Kouda fell backward, steaming from the shock, blooding dripping from his eyes.
"Now Kaula!" Kouda screamed as the electric current inside of Icarus began to intensify. As the ancient coil device grew increasingly volatile and explosive, Kouda saw the problem. The battery nodes would not be able to circulate the energy unless the nodes themselves matched the energy level of Icarus's inner coil. That would explain the melted batteries from before and Icarus' deactivation. The power unit would need a strong enough charge for the energy to flow through. Whatever power that lay within Icarus that Kouda had just felt, his own power could not match it's strength. But perhaps a super saiyan could.
"You need to charge the power unit with your ki, Kaula! It's the only way!" Kouda yelled over the roaring noises the volatile machinery in Icarus made.
If Kaula successfully charged the power unit with her ki, Kouda would allow the power unit to slam into place on top of the ancient coil. Kouda would then quickly weld the power unit on to the ancient coil. If he was successful, the explosive blue energy coming from the coil would being circulating into the power unit. Kouda would then suture up Icarus' chest and eagerly waited to see if the android awakened.

The body was reacting to outside stimuli but was in such a state the few back up power supplies and all removed batteries as well factoring in had any form of reaction impossible or down to a bare minimum. Some systems were still running but barely as his body did have some synthetic imitation of a organic living state. The body shaking lightly and reacting only from the shoves and pulls of the foreign power adjusting it and moving about inside it and cutting at its exterior. The new systems being entered were being picked up as foreign power and any and all stimuli was being noticed by his inner sensors. Icarus had expected to have more time to talk as his body wasn't meant to let anyone go fishing around inside it. Old war programs as well as to ensure no one easily go files from his mind. Inner systems fighting for what bits of a spark they had remaining as he shook violently on the table now and again as each new problem was fixed or mechanical part fixed. It would be around the time ki was needed when a loud gasp would raise from his lips. Icarus's head shooting up lightly to look about.
Seeing something in his dazed head and his body so weak just trying to lift took nearly all he had. However as you can imagine seeing hands... well inside your open chest wasn't exactly the most comforting vision. As well as his eyes giving flashing bright warnings that only he could see. Little digital screens hovering in his vision line that his eyes made only visible to him. Critical warnings foreign systems. Suggesting possible attack and system shut down imminent. A little trail of of fluid leaking from the corner of his lip that was synthetic fluid or blood for his systems to put it mildly.
He would began to thrash lightly not sure what was going on and his eyes were taking on static he couldn't make out Kaula or Kouda in truth. He just felt something inside him and burning. His pain receivers and all other features to feel as a living being were always left on you see. So at present this felt as if well someone had their hands inside his organic body fishing around with organs that just weren't there anymore. "What Happened! STOP!" He'd yell out. Kicking lightly and screaming his body and voice raining out as he nearly shut down twice but kept kicking in power reserves. Not realizing he was putting himself in more danger only being notified of his soon imminent shut down and possible death perhaps. Shooting into a form of shock unable to process what was happening clearly in his head. "IT HURTS! STOP IT!" He'd roar out in a painful cry before his body fell limp again. Most of his systems beginning to enter a immediate shut down as well as attempt at activation. The final phases still needed Kaula's charge of ki and the mixture of new machinery and old in him still lacked that ending activation of energy. He could feel himself internally however as if trapped in a digitized state in his mind. Like a digital soul perhaps in data form. Feeling like the end was coming his body under some form of foreign attack and helpless. As you can imagine feeling as if he was a Tuffle once more back in those olden days. His recorded memories were having trouble holding onto his mind as well as they raced in a back up program his data trying to protect itself mimicking watching his eyes flash before his eyes as he recalled losing his arm in that final night. The oozaru that crushed his vehicle and and his arm torn from his fleshy body in the vehicle before he escaped. For now he was trapped stuck in this state wishing for it to he over.
He was in a state of shock just android style I suppose. His body would begin to shake lightly and convulse his systems running as that middle ground between synthetic organic and machine.

Kaula didn't speak much when she was stopped. She considered blasting through the door.. but.. No. She shouldn't. She glanced back towards the doctor. Her eyes narrowed for a second as she just glared at him. She didn't want to trust him. She didn't want to trust him at all. She started to frown a bit before she moved towards the doctor. "Fine." the hybrid girl said in a loud growl. She really didn't want to. But she had no choice. She moved to slowly place the body down on the table with a sigh. "Just know.. I am watching you. You do something fishy.. I am gonna slam you into the ground." she said with a loud growl.
She didn't do much. She had simply watched Kouda. It was a little bit odd to see your friend on a table being cut open like that, you know? She glanced at the body as it was.. Well.. Opened. It wasn't exactly what she expected, though. It wasn't like it was a living body or anything. It was just.. Like all robot stuff. She brought a hand up to scratch lightly at her head as she let out a sigh. Was she doing the right thing, trusting this doctor guy so? That was - until he yelled out. Seems he needed her help. Damnit, Kouda! Kaula was a fighter, not a doctor damnit! She paused, looking at the core before wrapping her hands firmly around it.
She frowned as she forced it to stay up. She wasn't really struggling with holding it, because unlike Kouda.. She was.. Well.. Stronger, of course! She continued to hold it up until she heard Icarus speak. She blinked. The fuck was happening now. She glanced towards Icarus with her emerald eyes. Shit. He was awake now! And he was crying out. She had almost missed the que to slam the thing into his chest. When told to, the girl went to simply let go of it so the strong core snapped into his body.
However, that wasn't enough? She grimaced slightly as she went to close her eyes. Her friend needed her help. She didn't mind that at all. She went to place her hands back ontop of the core, "Sorry little buddy." she grumbled out as she closed her eyes. She just pictured him like one of her weapons. Kaula let out a breath and simply began to channel her ki into his core, trying to power him. The hybrid eventually came to a stop with it, opening an eye to see him start to shake. She frowned again, looking up from her friend's body to Kouda. "Do soooomething." she said with a low growl.

Kouda watched with horror as Icarus sprang in and out of death. The shrieks of pain and slipping consciousness echoed throughout the lab and Kouda's mind.
"How could a machine sound so...alive..." Kouda spoke astounded, almost a whisper.
Icarus jolted on the table as the core within him stuttered and churned.
Kaula began channeling her ki into the power unit. The nanomachines within the tube like device began to glow golden and intensify as the power rose.
The electricity that was surging throughout Icarus' body and crackling out into the room was then immediately controlled and channeled into the power unit. It seemed that a balance had been achieved between the ancient coil and Kouda's power unit. The harmonious power surged a golden aura within the old machinery and the blue electricity from the coil gently danced around the power unit. The display was almost beautiful within the darkness of the room.
Icarus was shaking and stirring lightly as if he stuck in a deep endless dream that he could not wake from. Kaula looked up at the Ee's doctor and pleaded for Kouda to save her friend. Kouda tucked his arms within his cloak and looked at the saiyan girl. He too felt distraught to save the unique android he was beginning to have some sort of emotional attachment to. Without saying a word, Kouda placed a claw on the saiyan girl's shoulder and then turned to look at Icarus' face.
His systems should be functioning but sufficient damage had been done to the poor android's synthetic body in the process. The good doctor grabbed an Arcosian space battery from the rack of batteries he had pulled up from earlier. After picking up the strange purple pill-like battery, Kouda spread his wings and picked the naked android from off the table. He flew to the top of the healing chamber and began plugging several cables into Icarus including a mask to cover his mouth and nose underwater. Kouda then slowly lowered the dreaming Icarus into the waters of the healing chamber. Kouda then dropped down to the back of the machine and inserted the arcosian space battery into the healing tank, causing it to turn on.
"Just have faith, Kaula..."
Kouda ran over to the console next to the chamber and inputted a few commands to begin the procedure of revitalizing Icarus' body. While Kouda typed, he had a quick flashback to his first meeting with the saiyan @hitora and what had happened to his first healing chamber on that fateful day. Kouda smirked for a split second at the old, faded memory and returned to the desperate reality. The healing machine began to whir to life and bubbles arose from the bottom of the tank.
Kouda looked back at Kaula and then back at Icarus who was floating eerily within the healing chamber.

Icarus had been situated in a tank of sorts various cords attached to his body as well as a mask of sorts. His synthetics reacting well as the artificial boy floated suspended within the tank. It was like one of those bad dreams when you felt like you were on the edge of waking up but teetering back to sleep each time you nearly regained waking state. The machinery was working once more so the synthetics could also follow suit as the artificial organs worked soundly once more. His body beginning to enter a stage of mending that would take no time at all really compared to a organic. The tank as well would speed things up quite heavily. His systems were in a quick reboot and repair cycle first and foremost. Linking too his lab that was not far off through air waves as well to make sure any an all broken memories or errors in his brain were fixed as to keep him whole. Himself with no errors thrown in here or there.
It would be a short few minutes before he would likely shiver lightly and eyes squint as they shakily opened peering out. In this tired state they were those black as night eyes. The Tuffle eyes that appeared tired and weak in their current state. Everything looked blurry as his body moved but weakly at first. A hand reaching out to touch the glass of the chamber after a few moments of looking out upon the two figures beyond. His palm sticking to the glass the healing gel around him soothing away the pain of the vulgar memories of having someones hands inside him. Glad that memory was only broken snippets in his head as far he could remember them. His body was lacking the strange pauses and errors and when his monitoring programs were checked he was actually running better then ever given the circumstances. Another hand slid over the now sealed wound at his chest. Recalling what was there and what was new. His own eyes taking in x-ray of a odd angle of himself as well as reading inner reports of what had changed. The tech put him as well as the change in adjustment with program. A ki that had jump started him as well was rushing though him like a new power in his veins. Like being born again it felt spectacular. If he had the energy he may have been eager to leap with joy and let out a smile and hearty laugh. But his body was still rather weakened and the tank didn't allow such celebratory motions.
He'd draw in large breaths His skin would shoot a quick blue as well as in a instant he adjusted his features but other programs had been finished as well thanks to the rush of power. He'd look at his hands floating in water as he easily could work his systems to work with the advanced programs in his software. Hands forming claws before long as they quickly retreated. His back morphing before regressing the change as he could feel where it was now possible to summon the little trick he'd been working on when he discovered this whole problem with his systems was popping up. Smiling under the mask in which they likely couldn't see he'd reach up a little strength coming back as his finger tip began tapping the glass. He was tired and likely could have done better to stay inside. but he wanted out... He wanted to thank his friend and the good doctor... as well as perhaps be put back in his clothes. Creating new apparel would have done him no good at present while covered in gel. He wasn't sure but if his sensors were giving proper read outs he should have been able to walk when the gel was drained... Or at least here was hoping. As his eyes kept warmly in their tired way on the two on the other side of the glass.

Kaula moved to slowly cross her arms after she had charged it. She took a few steps back to sort of glare at Kouda as he lifted her friend up. She didn't like trusting him. She rarely liked trusting anyone she didn't know. But the fact that she had a few bad run ins with these people didn't help much at all. She just glared at him with her emerald eyes. The girl was filled with hate. A bit of fear, but mostly hate. She was protective of her friends. They were her friends, after all.
"Just have Faith, Kaula." he said. Have Faith. She rolled her eyes. Faith. Faith in a damn organization that had that stupid fucking pink thing in it before. Sure, he was apparently out of it now. But.. Well.. She really didn't trust him, and by extension, the rest of the faction. The girl only glared at him after that as she moved to step away from the table to find a seat. There wasn't really much she could do now. She hoped that what Kouda was doing was.. Well.. Right. You know? Kaula certainly wasn't the most trusting at all. So, for now, she just.. Sat there. Staring at Icarus while she waited for him to awaken.
((Sorry for the super small post. Not a whole lot to type.))
