It was a long day, Gula was hot. He was hotter than he had been for a long time. He was sitting in the middle of a burning village. The residents long dead, he was guilty. Extremely so, he could not suppress the guilt of what he had done any longer. To do so would cause severe harm to his mind, and likely make him go down a path that he would never want to go down. The guilt was swallowing him whole.
Tears flowed down his face, as he stared at the corpse of a small girl. She was barely three years old, and he snapped her neck without hesitation. Emptying his stomach, next to her. Eyes blurry with even more tears, he couldn't help but feel guilty for doing this. He wanted to change, but he knew he needed a extremely strong push to do so. He didn't want to slaughter people any more. When Gula first started, he felt such excitement at the massacres he caused.
It was the passion that drove him, the passion of the kill. The passion of feeling flesh give way to his fists, of being covered in the blood of the innocent, of ending life. But with each kill, his guilt grew and grew until he could not contain it any longer.
"I need to change. I do not want to do this any longer."
The sound of his voice was hoarse. It was barely audible through the pain of the guilt. He wiped his face, and started to walk out of the village, he had enough of this. This time he would give proper burials for the people he slaughtered. As he was walking out of the village, he felt something. Someone was watching him, he didn't know who was watching him or where they were. He just felt a chill going down his spine. He knew whoever was watching him, must have been powerful.
He knew they were going to reveal them self soon. Gula, flew upwards quite easily. He looked around, by slowly turning himself in the air. He couldn't see anyone, but they could be hidden in the woods around the village. He just did not know.

[Thread PL 81k]
Toma had been flying over the Eastern Lands of the Earth. He had wanted to go train somewhere private, to perhaps push himself to become a Super Saiyan. He needed to get stronger, he needed that power boost if he was going to be taken seriously in a battle. There was no question about it.
He had been just about to cast out his senses to see if there were any good partners around that he might spar against, until he smelled something. It smelled like burning wood. Toma looked down, and his eyes widened in shock. A village! And it was burning! The ploom of black smoke billowed high into the air. Toma wasn’t sure how he had missed it. He probably just hadn’t been paying attention.
He cast out his senses to try to feel any nearby Ki. He didn’t feel anything, other than one above-average signature. Still weak, compared to Toma’s own, but that wasn’t the point. Toma narrowed his eyes and began descending towards the ground, until he came across someone who was floating in the air.
Looking down at the man from above, Toma spoke to him in a serious manner. “Did you do this?” Toma asked. It was clear the man had, in fact, done this. There was nobody around who could’ve done it. And the damage was far too fresh for the man to have gotten very far if he’d even left at all. The man appeared to be human, but Toma knew he could easily be a Saiyan or Half Saiyan from off world. “Answer me. Quickly.”

Gula, looked down at the village before suddenly looking above him when he heard the words of the much stronger warrior above him. He could tell that Toma was much more powerful than he was, from his body. It's posture, muscles, and overall demeanor screamed someone that could kill Gula as easily as one were to step on a gnat. Knowing that it would be futile to lie to the stronger opponent, Gula proceeded to tell him the truth.
"Yes.... I did it..."
Gula's voice was filled with sadness and guilt. Almost as if he were truly repentant and would do anything, anything at all to fix what he had foolishly done. His voice cracked on the yes, revealing that he had spent a lot of time recently crying. It was hoarse, and he could barely form the words that were required. Gula was wide open to take a savage beating from the stronger warrior.
Blood soaked his black clothing, it clung to his clothes. A part of his gi was torn completely off, it wasn't a villager's doing. He tore the part off believing that he shouldn't wear the symbol of his father's school. He used and perverted the teachings of his father to massacre people. He was not worthy of the teachings, nor was he going to use them, until he truly redeems himself in front of everyone.
The young man would do anything to fix what he has done, but he knew of no possible way aside from the dragon balls. He didn't truly believed they existed but he would look for them, just in case they were indeed real. He would wish everyone that he has ever killed back to life, and help them rebuild their homes. Well everyone aside from any evil people that he may have killed on his genocide.
"I would do anything to fix this... Anything at all..."
The last thing he had said was barely audible over the severe wind that blew through the plain. He would not give up, but he will do anything to fix what he has done. He was resolute in this belief, even if it involved a severe beating from the warrior in front of him. He would not defend himself, at all.

Toma watched the young man seem to admit to his guit. Of course Toma knew that this could all be a ruse to perhaps make him feel sorry for the young man. If this person wanted so badly to fix the destruction he had caused, why would he have killed this village in the first place?
“Why?” Toma asked. He was genuinly curious as to why Gula had done such a thing. He appeared to be a Saiyan, but he had no tail nor did he have the power level of a Saiyan that Toma had seen. He wasn’t really sure what to make of the situation.
“Why would you do this? If you want to repent for what you’ve done so badly, why would you do this to this village in the first place?”

"Because, I was forcibly suppressing all of the guilt that I've felt from doing this. I didn't understand I was brainwashed until I couldn't suppress the guilt any longer..."
Gula was nearly in tears at this point, remembering everything he's done. He had to live for the rest of his life, with this guilt. Even with repentance, he would more than likely be sent to hell for his crimes. He would gladly agree to suffer for the rest of time, if it would cleanse his soul of these atrocities.
"The pod I came here in, for the first five years of my life, I had done nothing but learn from it. It corrupted my mind, twisting it until I thought that the destruction was the only way I could see the majestic beauty of Vegeta. But, I was wrong such a planet could only be ugly if it spawned the race that is the Saiyans."
He could speak clearly even though he was crying, he wasn't hysterical. He needed someone to guide him to the right path, and someone that would be more than willing to kick his ass back into line, should he ever stray from it. What he needed was someone that he could follow, someone that would teach him something else aside from destruction.
