-The topic takes place in Reikiko's spaceship that is currently docked on Vegeta- -50x gravity training has been used during this thread for Reikiko-
If there was one thing that could be said about Hikari, then it was the fact that she was resourceful. Not only had she been one of the key elements in turning Avalon into a reality. Still, to think that when Kaula had been planning to travel to Vegeta had been something Hikari had been anticipating surprised her. Not only had she prepared a luxurious spaceship, funded by means she refused to tell her, it also came equipped with a gravity chamber that they could employ during the trip. All in all it wasn’t a bad idea for her to get some training done. After the chaos at the palace of the recently crowned Queen Reikiko had chosen to temporarily retreat to the solitude of the aforementioned spaceship. It was quite large to say the least, almost a little sibling to the Big Blue, to the point that Reikiko affectionately called it ‘Little Black’. However, this particular story focused on a particular adventure Reikiko experienced while on the ship. Due to Hikari having started to properly master the use of the Super Saiyan transformation she had become a pretty decent sparring partner for Reikiko, not to mention the Homunculus was rather fond of playing around with her friend.
“How does a sparring match at fifty times Earth’s gravity sound like? Or would you rather skip to the ‘fun’ part right away?”
Reikiko’s tone was cheerful and upbeat as she asked the question, her crimson-colored irises gazing at Hikari with a hint of excitement in them. However, knowing Hikari and recalling the importance she placed in the act of training, the Homunculus was already aware of the answer she would surely end up receiving. While Hikari unlocked the door leading into the gravity chamber the hybrid turned around to face Reikiko, a calm and serene smile on her lips while she shook her head lightly in return.
“That would be the same as getting a reward without doing any work. That’s not how the world works, and you know that well enough my dear ‘goddess’.”
Reikiko could hear the sarcasm in the last bit of Hikari’s sentence. While she had verbally lashed at Reikiko and Kaula for disturbing the festivities of the recently crowned queen, she had at least started to cheer up a little bit again. Pouting her cheeks like a child whose request for her favorite candy got refused, the Homunculus watched Hikari approach the machine at the center of the room.
“Good morning Mistress Reikiko, Mistress Hikari.”
The sound of a feminine voice startled Reikiko, whose eyes gazed around the room in search for the source of the sound, but despite a visual look at her surrounding area, and a sensory scan of her surroundings she didn’t sense anyone aside from herself or Hikari around.
“Who is speaking?”
Reikiko’s tone betrayed no hint of concern or surprise, and yet to her fascination a light started to materialize before her, a moment later causing a small humanoid figure, the size of a pixie to float before her.
“My name is Alice, I am the artificial intelligence programmed to operate the ship. Of course I’m also capable of manipulating the gravity chamber settings if you desire to.”
Alice was indeed pretty much akin to a pixie, tiny and delicate in frame, silver colored hair that flown down till the height of her shoulder, and a white summer dress that naturally flown down her petite body. There were even small holographic wings on her back!
“I didn’t think you were the type of girl who liked fairies Hikari~ Albeit, it’s a rather cute side of you. Nevertheless, it’s a pleasure to meet you Alice. Could you please prepare a battle arena for us at fifty times earthen gravity?”
The pixie nodded her head happily in return, spinning around on the spot as the landscape in the room seemed to shift and blur. Solid holograms started to cloak the area, and soon they were standing on a rather famous arena in the southern islands. If she recalled right it was actually a place where the most famous tournaments in history were held on Earth!
“Before we begin Reikiko I’ll warn you that you better don’t hold back. I have been honing my skills a lot lately.”
The Homunculus grinned excitedly at those words, finding her interest stirred. It had been a while since she properly fought Hikari, and the warrior inside her craved for another battle against a Super Saiyan.
“Then I shall go at full power~”
Reikiko’s expression slowly settled onto her more serious look as she raised a hand, making a taunting gesture with her fingers akin to a come hinter. Of course It was a provocation Hikari didn’t ignore, for the woman sped up into a burst of energy, a headlong rush aimed straight at her.
“Here I come!”
The hybrid’s body turned into a blurring after-image, seemingly reappearing at Reikiko’s side, but rather than the anticipated attack Hikari disappeared a second time, reappearing right above the Homunculus, arm sweeping downwards while her first was preparing to collide into the back of her companion’s neck. At least that’s how It appeared on the surface. Instead Reikiko merely lifted her head upwards, and the moment her eyes locked down onto Hikari the hybrid was able to feel an invisible push of energy knock her fist backwards, a second push being launched from Hikari’s flank that send her spinning through the air, slowly coming to a halt as she landed on the ground.
“How… I didn’t even see you move!”
The Homunculus smiled playfully in return, her hands folding up beneath her chest while slowly her obsidian-colored ki aura flared into existence, seemingly burning around her like a flame. It took Hikari a moment to realize the meaning behind the thing she was being shown, but that alongside Reikiko’s explanation enlightened her a little.
“I am able to manipulate my ki to such a degree I’m able to use it physically. Whether it’s a kick, a punch or even a block or parry. As long as you are within physical range I can easily attack you without lifting a finger.”
Such a technique… was it even possible? The mere thought of it made Hikari smirk mischievously while she took a deep breath, seemingly steadying her resolve. She should have expected that much. There was no way she would be able to make Reikiko even break a sweat without going into her Super Saiyan form.
“You really are the definition of an overpowered opponent.”
The Homunculus looked at Hikari with a hint of interest as she felt Hikari’s energy stir slowly out of its slumber. Rapidly it started to ascend upwards, and while the hybrid steadied her footing the golden aura started to flare firmly around her. That sensation as waves of energy gushed outwards and Hikari’s hair slowly started to spike upwards into a golden tint was exactly the type of feeling she had been looking forward to, something she had always desired. Aside from Vipoi the only thing capable of entertaining her was a legendary Super Saiyan of legend! The moment Hikari’s transformation was finished the hybrid disappeared from sight, suddenly reappearing right behind Reikiko while she made a twisting motion with her body, a leg sweeping down at Reikiko’s back. Although Reikiko was more than fast enough to manipulate her ki, the Homunculus found her block attempt only cushioning the impact of the kick, causing her to stagger forwards, and upon realizing the super saiyan transformation of Hikari was too strong to take on casually, Reikiko swiftly lunged forwards, spinning around during the motion and launching several conjured orbs of ki toward her opponent.
It was rather fascinating how Hikari deflected each of them, an accurate slap at each projectile forcing the Homunculus’s projectiles to lunge into a random direction and detonate in a small burst of energy. When Hikari decided to retaliate with a larger ki blast of her own the Homunculus her wings materialized, wrapping around her like a cocoon before sweeping outwards, knocking the ki blast away from her.
“Seems that it’s going to become a classic fisticuffs then…”
The Homunculus smirked mischievously when a surge of energy cloaked her body, a obsidian aura flowing wildly around her, and with a outwards burst of power Reikiko rushed head-on toward Hikari who lunged forward to meet her charge. The two of them exchanged a series of punched, each punch hitting the other’s as they seemed to be on an equal match on terms of speed and strength. However, it was after several clashes that Reikiko finally leapt backwards and dropped her combative stance, a certain gloominess clouding her eyes as she mumbled under her breathing.
“Let’s call it a day for training. Hikari, could you be a dear and call Kaula for me? I want to ask her a few things.”
The hybrid nodded her head lightly as the simulator ceased its activities, the gravity chamber returning back to its normal design while Reikiko walked out the door. She could already anticipate what was going on. While Reikiko had tried to suppress it, there had been subtle signs she had been displeased. Not only had there been another woman that had accompanied them on this trip, a woman Reikiko had never met before, but the knowledge Yami had bestowed onto her made it a large possibility that the Homunculus was aware of Kaula’s ‘adventures’ with her new companion. It didn’t take a genius to realize Reikiko would have been jealous, and it seemed she had finally decided on a confrontation.
Taking a deep breath she pulled a scouter from her pocket and after placing it against her ear changed the radio frequency to reach Kaula’s scouter.
“Kaula, can you hear me? I’m on the new spaceship that recently docked on Vegeta, the large black one. Reikiko wants to talk to you, but before that I need to warn you that the nature of the conversation is a bit sensitive, so be careful about what you say to her. She’ll be waiting for you in her quarters.”
She paused for a bit, seemingly hesitant about the new thing she was about to do, but finally she asked in a softer tone.
“Say Kaula, do you like Reikiko?”
With the fact Reikiko regained all her memories, the fact that she was still so obsessed with Kaula clearly suggested that she genuinely loved the hybrid, but first there needed to be some things cleared up. Kaula’s obliviousness to her feelings would only hurt both of them in the long run, so in the end…
“Try to find the answer to the following question by yourself: The fact that despite fusing with her other half, the new Reikiko still decided to accompany you to Vegeta. What could this have possibly meant? What reason would she have had to come along?”
And with those words she ended the transmission, making her way out of the gravity chamber while Alice silently floated behind her.

[Heavy Weights on]
Kaula was humming a bit as she casually was walking along the capitol. She hadn't yet been to her 'home' since that whole situation, though she had brought some specific things from Earth with her. What were they, you wonder? Why they were plants! Yes, plants! She sorta wanted to see if she could grow a garden here. Not just some little dinky one, but a huge one! A splendorous one! With trees! And other stuff! But, she didn't know how well the plants would grow in the soil here, if at all. She sighed for a few moments, sticking her hands into her weighted vest's pockets.
Now. What to do? She could try finding that little blue guy? He seemed.. Okay. He tried to help her, at least. She could also see her mother.. But she might still be mad. That was when she was getting a notification! She answered it. Oh. It was.. Hikari? She blinked, clearly not aware she was here, yet.
"Yeah. I can hear you." she answered as she moved along. Ah. She bought a space ship. Makes sense. However, the next question made her tilt her head, "Of course I like her.. Why wouldn't I?" she asked before she seemed to hang up. The Saiyan Hybrid sighed for a moment before moving to pick up her pace to head to the docks.
Once she got there, she sighed a bit, shaking her head a little bit. This seemed to be the only big, black ship. She'd try to enter it, likely popping her head in first. Probably expecting someone to greet her at the entrance.

It didn’t take long for Kaula to reach the spaceship, and upon entering the bay that had opened the hybrid would have been greet by a small pixie-like girl. It was Alice, the artificial intelligence that was programmed to take care of the ship. The Pixie floated closer to Kaula, her wings flutter in the sky before her soft girlish voice resounded through the air.
“Welcome Miss Kaula. Mistress Hikari desires for Alice to guide you to Mistress Reikiko, therefore Alice will be your guide.”
The pixie called Alice hummed happily while she started to fly further into the entrance bay of the ship, a doorway opening that led further into the corridor. While Alice seemed willing to answer any question Kaula might have had, she was equally devoted to guiding Kaula through the series of corridors, and up along an elevator to reach the highest level of the ship. It was there, after reaching a door that lead into a spacious room that Alice floated backwards and declared cheerfully.
“Mistress Reikiko is in here. If Alice is needed, you just have to call Alice’s name.”
And with those words the pixie disappeared like a blurring after-image. The room Kaula had been led to was quite luxurious in design. There was a carpet on the ground, made from a surprisingly soft fabric while at the same time there were sofas lined up in a certain angle around one of those fancy technological contraptions that humans called a television, something Reikiko seemed fond of. There was also a desk, seemingly containing some devices whose purpose were likely foreign to Kaula, and finally a window looking out into the capitol in the distance, and at the other side of the room, nearby the wall a large bed that was truly suited for a queen.
Speaking about Reikiko, the silver-haired Homunculus was standing with her back to Kaula, seemingly gazing outside the window, and while her face was slightly obstructed from view due to the angle she was at, a deep thoughtful expression lingered on her face.
“Ah, there you are Kaula. Thank you for answering my request so quickly.”
The woman smiled softly as she turned around to face Kaula, her crimson irises looking at Kaula with a certain curious feeling to them. Was it a shadow of doubt, or perhaps one of grief? The Homunculus slowly stepped forwards while she started speaking once more.
“It has been since before my fusion that I was able to properly talk with you. Initially I planned to do this while we were at the palace but, let’s say the festivities of that day made it rather unsuited for this type of talk.”
The Homunculus grinned sheepishly for a moment, seemingly referring to the brawl that had unfolded in the palace that day, but soon her grin faded and was replaced by a more serious expression.
“Memories are a curious thing aren’t they? At some point I longed to remember my past, the meaning of my existence and the reason behind my creation. Yet at this point I wonder if those memories I regained are a blessing or a curse. While I might remember everything, those memories have also produced emotions that demand me to take action, for they influence me far more than anything else does.”
She paused for a moment, seemingly trying to think of how to verbally explain her intentions and the things she was feeling right now. It took her at least several moments before she was able to decide on the words she would finally use to carry on their conversation.
“Yes, I remember everything. My time as a bio-android, the fight in West Capitol, my past with Hikari. But I also remember other things. The days I spend at your side in Avalon. Back then it was such a blissful time, spending every waking moment of the day by your side, and every night I could find myself sleeping comfortable in your embrace. However, that blissful time didn’t last…”
She paused for a bit, her eyes shifting sideways as she hesitated to continue what she had been trying to tell Kaula.
“The days you went on patrols I started to feel lonely. The times you spend alongside people like that pretty Majin girl or Tariph made me feel… odd.”
It had been an odd sensation, one that had driven her to feel emotions like anger and sorrow with a much stronger intensity than she had been used to. After a moment she shook her head lightly to clear her thoughts while she resumed their conversation.
“I felt angry at being left behind, sad at the fact I was being forgotten in favor of another person. Back then I assumed it was because I was weak and broken. In the end Saiyajin only love strong and interesting people right? But I still couldn’t comprehend why I felt such strong emotions, at least until now.”
The Homunculus her gaze shifted back onto Kaula, taking a deep breath to steady her resolve before she finally continued.
“It was for that reason I finally accepted my other self’s suggestion to be absorbed. I didn’t want to lose you, especially now because of my own fault. I wanted to be strong, so that you would finally turn your gaze at me. I finally understood the reason why. It was all because of this emotion people call love.”
Speaking about dropping a revelation bomb on her, judging from the tone she spoke in, and the serious look in her eyes, there had been no way that Reikiko had been speaking in jest.
“Is it bad of me to desire you for myself? Is it unfair for me to harbor such jealousy toward those who get your attention? Is it cruel for me to reveal those things to you so suddenly? Perhaps they are, but I guess it’s one thing that shows that despite being a goddess I do have some flaws.”
She had to make Kaula realize, for the ignorance wasn’t going to allow her to remain blissfully unaware of the decisions that had to be made.

Kaula blinked when she entered. She was glancing around for a few moments until that little pixie came up. She almost swatted at it, thinking it was some weird.. Glowing bug thing. However, it appeared to be talking to her!
"Oh.. Uh.." she paused after it spoke and just went to shrug once, deciding to just follow her. She had some things on her mind.. Like what the fuck did Hikari mean by that question? Of course she liked Reikiko! She helped raise her! She was like a sister to her! Still, when she arrived, she went to reach up and remove her scouter, waving to the weird pixie thing as it left, "Thanks. I'll see you around, I guess." she said before heading into the room. "Yeah. Had nothing better to do right now, so I decided to make this my number one priority." the Saiyan hybrid said with a chuckle, stuffing the scouter into a pocket.
She had to recall the whole.. Event at the feast, chuckling some. "Yeah. That probably wasn't the whole.. Thing." she said with a chuckle. However, after Reikiko seemed to go into some.. Weird.. Monologue, Kaula just kept her mouth shut and let her spoke. Up until she got up to the talk of her being on patrols. It made her chuckle a bit as she moved over towards the woman, trying to wrap an arm around her. "What? I was trying to protect you. And sometimes I wanted to hang out with my other friends. Couldn't spend all my time with you." she tried to explain. "And. No. No no no.. Wasn't because you were weak." she said, trying to reach up and poke her cheek. "Don't be like that. It wasn't like that at all." she said as that hand moved up to try to ruffle the other girl's hair. Sure, she was vastly stronger then Kaula.. But this one still remembered this so called goddess as a small child.
However, that's when she was talking about wanting her for herself..? Romantically? Kaula blinked, she was unsure what to really say. "Well.. I'd say.. Probably not..? I-i mean.. You were raised on Earth and all, right?" she asked with a slightly nervous chuckle. "But, you know. I like you too." she said before pulling her into a full hug, "I even had a few surprises getting lined up for you and all, here and all." she said before digging into her pocket and pulling out a small case which she casually opened up, showing off the capsules inside. Each one seemed to have sometype of plant picture on it. "Planned on making a garden here or something. Got some apple trees, too."

For a moment the silver-haired woman pouted in response to Kaula’s reaction. While she had already been aware of the fact that the hybrid had been rather busy going on patrols for the sake of protecting her, the fact that she still found time to hang around other people, time that Reikiko felt could have been spend just as well with her, had led the Homunculus to feel some jealousy toward those friends. Nevertheless, those negative feelings were temporarily suppressed by the feeling of Kaula ruffling her hair, causing Reikiko’s cheeks to flush up lightly while her lips curved up into a little smile. It was a gesture that Kaula had done often when she was still in the form of a human child. Still, for a moment the conversation about romance and emotions was replaced by a more curious subject. The Homunculus’ eyes briefly blinked in confusion at the case that was revealed, a case that held several tiny capsules that contained some sort of plant. They were various tree sorts that were known to bear fruit, obviously apple trees being included in them. It caused Reikiko to giggle sheepishly as she gently scooped a hand under the case, trying to guide Kaula into lowering it toward the desk while she explained in an amused tone.
“I’m not certain if this planet is suited for raising earthen flora. It’s an interesting experiment, but I’m uncertain whether it will succeed or not.”
For a moment Reikiko’s gaze wandered down to the case, when finally she decided on something. She felt the need to express her emotions clearly. To convey them to Kaula in a way there would be no mistakes or the chance the hybrid remained oblivious to them. Returning to the embrace Kaula had given her earlier Reikiko’s voice was lowered to a whisper.
“And yet what I truly desire isn’t a garden full of apples. What I desire is you.”
She gently lifted a hand to Kaula’s chin, lifting it up a little so that she was looking straight at her. Those crimson eyes that were looking at Kaula were clearly filled with an overflowing sense of affection and determination. She had asked Kaula to come here for a reason, this visit had a meaning and important purpose to her.
“There is an important difference between liking someone, and loving someone Kaula. And I don’t just like you--- I love you.”
At the end of those words Reikiko moved her face closed, finally attempting to press her lips against Kaula’s in a tender yet passionate kiss. Unless Kaula had tried to break their kiss she would have caused it to linger for several moments when finally she moved her head back a little and spoke, her tone clearly hinting at a certain childish excitement and a deeply ingrained feeling of joy.
“I don’t want to just be your friend Kaula. I want to be your lover. I guess Earthlings got this peculiar tradition they call marriage, but for that we’d need to get your mother’s approval I think. But… I would be really happy to be able to stay with you forever.”
A bashful smile lingered on her lips as she found her mind thinking back about distant memories. It was back when she had still been in a state one could consider broken. Her human self had lost its ability to think or feel, and was more or less a little doll rather than a proper living being. However, it was Kaula’s presence that stirred her into motion, a presence that had influenced her far more strongly than anyone else.
And ever since then the influence Kaula’s existence had on her simply continued to increase. She grew to like Kaula, considering her the best and closest friend she had, and always she had longed to play with the hybrid. Nevertheless, as time passed so did her emotions grow even further, and what had once been a strong friendship had turned into feelings of love. They served both to encourage her, but also were a strong burden to her, for Kaula had been oblivious to the change in her emotions. However, today that obliviousness was destined to end.
“I might not be like a Saiyajin or a Human, but I believe those feelings of mine are genuine. My desire to be with you, to love you and protect you are the real thing. If a Saiyajin ascends through dark emotions, then I am the opposite of a Saiyajin. My love for you has been a catalyst of power that encourages me to surpass all other living beings within this galaxy. In a way you are the one who allows me to ascend to the state that mortals can only identify as a goddess.”
She smiles gently at the last bit, before she decided that it was time to ask the question that was of such a vital importance to her. It was a question that had been plaguing her mind ever since she had decided to hold this conversation, and it was also the possible solution to solve the emotions that had been haunting her.
“Will you marry me Kaula?”
Of course those words had quite some meaning for Reikiko. In the end she had been taught that a marriage had been a binding something, a ritual that allowed two persons to remain together forever. Of course she didn’t understand the true meaning behind it, but judging from the look in her eyes Reikiko longed to hear a response. She didn’t mind if Kaula still hung around with her friends, as long as she was hers, and she was Kaula’s. As long as that happened nothing would be able to stop her. In the end she had power and wisdom, not the only thing she needed to be truly complete was happiness. And that happiness could only be granted by the woman in front of her.
“Unless of course I came too late? I imagine there would be plenty of people who had the same thoughts as I did…”

"Yeah. I know. Figured I could still try. It might work." she said with a soft giggle. "I mean.. Just try with one tree at first. You never know." she said with a slow shrug before she let the capsule case set down on the desk. Kaula was still somewhat blissfully unaware of what she actually ment.
... She was, which was the keyword. Reikiko seemed to bring up that she wanted her. Kaula's cheeks reddened for a few moments as she glanced up to her friend, blinking a few times. She loved her..? Before she could speak, she was forced into a kiss. This, Kaula didn't really mind at all. She could see herself possibly dating her. However.. The homunculus went on about.. Marriage..? Wasn't that some kind of food or something? She blinked before breaking the hug for a second.
"Wait. Waitwait." she stated as she held up a finger. Oh no! Was she mad!?
"No one else has.. Ever talked to me about this. But.. If this is some Earth ritual thing.. I think I'd want to know a biiit more about it before I just say yes, you know?" she'd say. "Now, I'm not saying no. I just wanna know more about it. I-i mean.. I like you. But.. You're.." she paused, "You're very different now. The change was sudden. Let me get used to it a little. I mean, last I remember.. You were shorter then me!" she said, jokingly as she started to smile.
"But.. Don't you think we should talk about some things first? Like.. I dunno. .. You and Hikari?"

“It’s true that I have changed. That’s unavoidable. My body has changed into a form that is greater than the potential a bio-android could ever reach, and while my own self is created as a result of a merge between the Reikiko you knew on Avalon, and the one that was called Yami no Reikiko. I am still in a certain way the same silly girl that did those naughty things to you in the hot springs on Avalon.”
She smiled playfully in return, seemingly at least satisfied with the fact Kaula was considering her proposal. It was true that a lot had changed since she had ascended into this new form. Not only had she become the being that was truly Reikiko, but her appearance had changed into a more mature form compared to the child that Kaula had known. A moment had passed while the Homunculus had turned her gaze away from Kaula, seemingly lost in thought, or at the very least she was pondering about something important. It was true that there were a lot of things that needed to be discussed, especially given the fact that there were a lot of memories that Reikiko had regained during the fusion.
“According to what I studied a marriage is a ritual that is carried out on Earth to officially announce your love. It’s sort of a special declaration. When you marry someone you want to show that you love them, and it’s a love strong enough that you’re willing to be with them forever. Sure, there are some fancy dresses involved but I’m sure you’d look beautiful in them. Albeit… I still prefer you without any clothes on at all.”
She winked teasingly as a part of the joke, when finally they arrived at a slightly more touchy subject. Her past with Hikari. While it was true that she had a relationship with Hikari before she had experienced the splitting, those memories had disappeared from the human Reikiko, who had considered Hikari more akin to an elder sister rather than a lover. Still, she had to admit there were some lingering emotions drifting inside her. Affection for Hikari that had never faded away, a fondness for teasing the woman.
“It’s true that before I became divided into my human and bio-android selves that I had a relationship with Hikari. She has always been a close and precious friend of mine, ever since I lost my master and stayed on the Big Blue in preparations for the events that happened within West Capitol.”
Frowning briefly Reikiko continued to think back about the matter. She didn’t want to lie to Kaula, but it was a fact that she loved Hikari, both as a friend and perhaps something more. Nevertheless, in her eyes it would have been unfair if she was to be polygamous in nature, and demand of Kaula to be hers and only hers. Did this mean she was willing to sacrifice her relationship with Hikari? That was a question she was afraid to answer.
“I like--- No, I still love Hikari. She has always been there to support and take care of me, and I’m incredibly fond of her, but it would be unfair if I was to request of you to love only me, especially when I myself would have loved multiple girls.”
For a moment a shadow of sorrow crossed her visage, her tone clearly hinting a bit at the jealousy and sadness that had been plaguing her thoughts.
“But I don’t want to keep feeling this way. To see you paying so much attention to others, when I’m right there for you. I would be tempted to agree with a suggestion of ‘Let Kaula play with other girls, if said girls also play with me’. But I doubt anyone else would be as crazy as you and Hikari to love someone like me.”
She smiled weakly while shaking her head lightly, seemingly trying to erase some thoughts from her mind. She had been plagued by insecurity and doubts once more, and at this rate they might end up influencing her conversation with Kaula.
“I think that’s part of why I’m so jealous, because those friends of yours that get your affection feel almost akin to strangers to me.”
What Reikiko was trying to say, was that she obviously didn’t mind the idea of creating a polygamous harem, but only if she and Kaula were at the center of it, and that Kaula paid the most attention to her. Speaking about a demanding little goddess hmm?
“Of course I will do my best to make you as happy as possible. Whether it’s power, affection or wealth I will do all I can do fulfill your dreams, as long as you fulfill mine. And fortunately I only have one dream, so that’s an easy bargain for you.”
She smiled sheepishly at the last bit before she finally stepped closer, gently lowering a hand to rest on Kaula’s chest, and while she leaned her head forwards, trying to press her forehead gently against Kaula’s, she hummed while closing her eyes.
“But in the end less changed than you think. I might have changed physically, but I’m still that adorable little girl that you took care of on Avalon. Of course I’m also the same woman you tried to kiss in the Bamboo Forest. By the way, you really should practice your flirting skills, because I doubt a headbutt is a known method to seduce someone. Of course I know plenty of ways that we could seduce each other---“
Trailing off for a bit to add some suggestiveness to her words she finally stepped a little bit backwards, a gentle smile still on her lips.
“Of course I don’t mind if we start with dating first. I do like the idea of seeing you blush by trying to act more romantic. Albeit, I assume that calling you honey or darling would be out of question while we are on Vegeta. Saiyajin pride I guess?”

Kaula stood there, still listening a bit to the whole talk about her change.. And marriage. Alright. So it wasn't food, that was a good thing. It was some ritual, like she ended up figuring up. "Well. Wa-.. Wait. I'd have to wear a dress!? Y=you know I don't like wearing those." she said with a pout. While she did like the idea.. She wondered if that ment she couldn't see her friends anymore. It confused her, alright!?
Still, after all that talking, Kaula went to rub her head a little bit. "Well.. You still.. Love Hikari. Do you think it would be fair.. Or even kind to her to just.. Ignore her like that. I mean, if also being with her.. You'd be happy, right?" she asked. "And I do like seeing you happy, right?" she asked. However, as Reikiko went on about how other girls wouldn't love her, Kaula shook her head as she frowned, stepping forward to caress her cheek with one hand while the other went to the artifical being's hips. "Don't feel down about yourself.. Alright..? We can figure out all this later." she said before giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.
"I.." she paused as she glanced up to her, "I love you. That's what's important right now. I don't love the others nearly as much as I love you.. But you all make me happy. And you cannot be replaced." she said before sticking her tongue out. "Let's just play the whole.. Wedding thing by ear, alright? We'll get to it when we get to it. And you can call me whatever you want. ... I guess." she said in a grumble. She wasn't going to tell someone with three million power level what to call her. ... Unless it was really humiliating.

For a moment Reikiko had gone silent, a look of deep consideration lingering on her face. She was concerned about the idea of having Kaula see other women, and yet at the same time she desired for the hybrid to be happy. It was a difficult decision between her own personal happiness, or that of the woman she loved. In the end she sighed softly, dropping her shoulders in defeat while declaring in a half-joking fashion.
“Fine, we’ll figure it out later. However, a harem would need to have a ‘sharing is caring’ policy. If they get to play with my wife, then I get to play with them.”
For a moment she teasingly poked out her tongue in a playful gesture before turning her back at Kaula, for a moment allowing a certain gloominess to cross over her visage. She was still uncertain, doubtful if something like a harem would truly work. While she knew someone like Hikari would be able to follow such silly rules, she wasn’t confident if everyone else would be able to follow them. At the very least she would need to have a conversation with Tariph about this. Especially knowing about the adventures she and Kaula had experienced so far. Sure, they likely paled in comparison to the things she and Kaula had already experienced, but still…
“Come along for a moment ‘darling’. I have a little gift in mind for you, or rather a little plan that will turn into a gift.”
She smiled briefly while she walked over toward the door that Kaula had entered earlier. The Homunculus seemed to had some idea in mind, for once Kaula started to follow her she started to lead the hybrid down a series of corridors, her tone a bit more serious and firm now that she had changed the subject.
“According to Hikari you’re almost at the point where a Saiyajin is able to tap into their potential. I have prepared a little trial to stimulate this potential of yours. As I mentioned before Kaula, the Supah Saiyajin transformation is a dangerous one. Incredibly strong, but it demands a lot of control over yourself in order to prevent your mind from slipping into a feral rage, and turn you into nothing but a mindless berserker.”
When they arrived at a large door she tapped it with her fingertip, causing the door to open before stepping inside. It appeared to be a spacious gravity chamber, the type capable of creating gigantic simulations. Could it have been part of Reikiko’s plan?
“I got an idea in mind to let you train safely Kaula, without the risk of harming anyone should you fall into this rage. It’s simple really, I will activate the battle simulator to recreate an opponent suitable for you to fight, one that at your current level will drive you to your limits and into a desperate situation.”
She paused for a moment, closing her eyes while she decided on the next course of action she was about to take. She lightly raised her hand, tapping her own chest as if to draw attention to herself.
“I possess an unique gift. A power known as a Blessing. While this ability normally mends your injuries and possibly regenerates a lost limb and such, I have to confess it isn’t a noble technique. My power is tainted, and if I weren’t to absorb the taint into myself, it will temporarily overwhelm you and turn you into a being of darkness. Consider it turning you into a ‘Yami Kaula’ so to speak. The negative emotions will threaten to overwhelm you, a rage so strong it could possibly stir the untapped power within you. But I’ll need you to snap out of it, lest I’ll have to knock you unconscious myself.”
She turned her gaze upwards, a small blue colored pixie appearing from above them, and smiling calmly Reikiko provided her instructions.
“Alice, prepare ‘that’ combat simulation.”
The Artificial Intelligence looked at Reikiko with a hint of concern in her eyes before turning to look at Kaula, speaking in a slightly shaky tone.
“B-But Mistress Rei, the combat simulation you mentioned earlier is… Won’t it kill her?”
Reikiko shook her head lightly in return, a smile lingering on her lips as she explained with a smile.
“I believe in Kaula. Nevertheless, it will do her good to see what type of monster a Supah Saiyajin can become.”
The pixie finally nodded her head lightly as the room started to lit up, slowly surrounding them all in a blue colored glow, when finally Reikiko and Alice disappeared from Kaula’s vision, and after a blurring moment of her visage, she would have found the gravity chamber to have changed to a familiar location.
Kaula had been floating in the air above an island, an island that was likely very familiar to her, for it was the floating island of Avalon. However, there was a remarkable difference in the appearance of the island, for the city at its center had been reduced to rubble and debris, akin to the scene Reikiko had witnessed at the end of the events at West Capitol. However, Kaula would likely have also been able to sense a powerful presence nearby, one that ranged at least roughly around her own.
It was at that moment, the moment Kaula would have been able to sense the unfamiliar presence that Reikiko’s voice whispered into Kaula’s ear.
“If you’re hesitant to do this, let me know. Now is the time to pull back if you aren’t ready to face the darkness every Saiyajin has within them.”
Ominous words, but they were a warning that Reikiko had considered pretty important to give. She had experienced first-hand what type of darkness a Saiyajin could possess, for the power she had obtained at West Capitol had caused a lot of suffering and misery. Nevertheless, if Kaula desired to obtain and master this power, then she would do her best to help Kaula obtain the thing she desired.

Kaula just simply stood there, smiling oh so innocently while Reikiko seemed to decide on stuff, however.. On the talk of some kind of harem, Kaula blinked a little bit. Wait.. What? Kaula let out a soft huff before sticking out her own tongue. Dang this so called goddess. Getting her out of her comfort zone and all. Still, at this talk about a gift? Now Kaula was intrigued. She loved gifts! So, of course, Kaula decided to follow her.
"Psh. I've probably always been at that level.," the young saiyan hybrid decided to boast. She certainly was a cocky one. Still, as they entered the room, Kaula blinked again. A really impressive room, that's for sure. Still, as Reikiko talked about herself.. Kaula sorta listened. Something about healing? She shrugged once before sticking her hands on her hips. "Psh. Like some computer could ever kill me." she boasted again before moving to start stretching lightly.
"I ain't hesitant on anything. I'm ready to do this. Easy peasy." Kaula said with a soft giggle, giving a smile to Reikiko.

A brief grin lingered on Reikiko’s lips at Kaula’s words. The girl really had a lot of confidence, perhaps even a little bit too much confidence. Then again, perhaps it wouldn’t be bad to help her realize what type of danger overconfidence could be. It was clear that Kaula overestimated her own strength, for the combat simulator could become pretty dangerous even for Reikiko herself, but maybe this would work perfectly for her. She did want to play a little with the hybrid, and some warming up before her fight wouldn’t hurt that much. She had two choices, either she would fight Kaula herself or allow the combat simulator to do its work. Still, she knew that unlike the combat simulator it would be incredibly difficult, perhaps even impossible for her to fight Kaula with the intention to harm or kill her. She loved the Saiyan girl too much for that.
“I would be careful with such statements my dear. There is a ‘computer’ on earth that is as strong as myself.”
Still, there would be no more time for conversations. The combat simulator had finished booting up the training sequence she had prepared, and finally the powerful presence revealed itself. A giant of a man started to blur into view, his muscular body seemingly showing a lifetime of training on the battlefield. He clearly had experienced plenty of battles, as evident on the scars that were visible on his chest that was left exposed to the air. Only rightly so, for the bulking form of the man would likely have torn any shirt into oblivion. The only thing he was wearing was a long loincloth of sorts. The tail that was curled up around his waist clearly hinted he was a Saiyan in nature, and his irises stared with a certain firmness to the woman.
“So you’re one of those children chasing my legend?”
The man addressed her in a proud and slightly arrogant tone, as if he truly considered her a mere child. It was the perfect opponent for Kaula. In the end Reikiko had relied on the ancient knowledge the book of darkness possessed to find a suitable scenario for Kaula to experience in order to ascend to the state of a Saiyan. This particular scenario was crafted from a distant historical event that happened so long even Reikiko herself couldn’t place a narrow date on the event. This man was one of the first Saiyan to ascend not simply to the state of a Super Saiyan, but actually touched the essence of what was known as a legend within a legend: The legendary super saiyan. It was suddenly that Reikiko’s voice resounded within the air once more.
“While his name has been lost in the passage of time, this man is one of the few that obtained a transformation that is truly considered a myth. One of the first to ascend to the state you desire, and even beyond. He is what ancient history knows as a Legendary Supah Saiyajin.”
The man seemed to ignore Reikiko’s voice and instead floated closer toward Kaula, a deep sigh escaping his parted lips. How tragic it was that he was always reminded of his own flaws whenever a Saiyan appeared before him. Then again, perhaps this was meant to be.
“And yet I wonder if you’re even worthy of obtaining such a form. It seems that those days the Saiyan species misunderstands the importance of the Super Saiyan transformation. You all arrogantly abuse its power, bask in it and remain blissfully ignorant of the darkness it brings along. Just like the Saiyan in my days…”
The man shook his head in disapproval at the thought before he focused his gaze back at Kaula. She seemed like a fine example of a young Saiyan warrior. Proud and arrogant, determined to obtain what she wanted, but blind to the flaws and weaknesses she possessed.
“Do you even know the meaning and purpose of our transformation? Many of you blindly chase it, believing it to be the end goal. A Super Saiyan is the strongest warrior in existence, at least if you believe the fools who die early. A Super Saiyan is merely an ascension, one that allows the Saiyan to tap into their potential to achieve a power beyond their ordinary capacities. However, a Super Saiyan isn’t just a weapon to wield.”
He took a deep breath before he continued his explanation, his expression still as stern and serious as before.
“People ascend to the role of a Super Saiyan with different goals in mind, but in the end the Super Saiyan remains a power that threatens to submerge you in darkness. It’s not a power you wield to protect those you treasure, it’s a power meant to destroy your foes. The Super Saiyan is a berserker, albeit one that retains their intelligence. A warrior of darkness, contradicting their golden aura. What I am to find out is whether you possess the strength of will to control that darkness.”
It was important for her to figure out if Kaula could control this darkness, because as much as Reikiko wanted to ignore that threat, watching a Super Saiyan, especially the woman she loved succumb to the darkness would be a danger too strong to be allowed to remain loose upon the world.
“But first let me see if you’re strong enough to fight a Super Saiyan. Prepare yourself warrior!”
The man’s ki started to flare up drastically, seemingly manifesting into a visible aura of energy. He had started to raise a hand upwards into the air, the energy flowing around his body readily gathering into the outstretched palm above. Rapidly the ki sphere above his hand started to expand into a larger projectile, and it was clear that Kaula would only have several moments before a fight would properly begin. The question was… Would she be able to best this challenge that Reikiko had prepared for her? Only time would tell them…

Kaula grinned at Reikio while the so called goddess was grinning back at her. Hell yeah she was over confident. She was a Saiyan, of course. And of course she was a danger to herself like this, but she didn't care because, again, she was a Saiyan! But, deep down inside she sorta new that it wasn;t completely beneficial to her, being all cocky like that. Still, as the large hulk of a saiyan appeared, she glanced at him. Judged him. Even cocked an eye up as she looked at him. Sure, he was tall and ripped, but this was it? It was like almost every other male saiyan she ever saw before.. ... Except that kinda scrawny looking boy she saw at the feast. ... ...... And that one hybrid she ran into at Earth before.
Still, as he spoke, she rolled her eyes. "I am not some child." she replied, just as arrogant, "I am one of the strongest Saiyans alive. Probably the strongest on Vegeta." she added on with an annoyed huff. How dare he call her a child. She was not some weak, sniffling fool! Still, as Reikiko went on, she seemed to only nod at her words. She wasn't all too surprised that the hologram saiyan man seemed to ignore Reikiko, though.
"Of course I am worthy. More worthy then that filfthy Saiyan raised by Namekians." she'd say with an arrogant chuckle. Still, as he shook his head, she crossed her arms slowly, frowning a bit. She wasn't going to let some over grown man judge her. Try to teach her. Please. That wouldn't fly with this Saiyan girl at all. She decided to forgo her weights while in the gravity armor, sliding out of the vest and slipping out of the boots, simply kicking them aside as he talked about fighting. She growled out, her own Ki flaring up as it seemed removing clothes here made her stronger. Ha, just kidding, she simply removed the weighted clothes that was suppressing her Power Level.
The hybrid girl drew her sword as he seemed to be charging something. A sphere, of some kind. She closed her eyes and decided to take in a deep breath, both hands gripping the handle of her blade. She, too, seemed to be charging. ... Charging.. Something. Or was it just nothing in general? She was just gathering up as much of her Ki as she could, oddly enough. Whatever she was about to do would be a surprise, it seemed.

It appeared that Kaula’s confidence wasn’t about to waver. Something that Reikiko had partly expected, and of course it was about to frustrate the large Saiyan she was facing. The large juggernaut suddenly turned into a blurry figure, quickly fading out of view while he reemerged above her, his outstretched hand swinging downwards with the intention of slamming into Kaula’s neck. If he had succeeded or in some way made an impact, the attack would have detonated, and likely covered the two of them in a shroud of smoke. Of course she had enough time to retaliate should she have had decided to make a counter-attack. Of course with the fact she had brandished her sword and started charging her energy, he had expected for her to create some sort of counter-strike. It was also for this reason that after the attack had been unleashed that Kaula would have been able to feel a surge of energy coming from the man.
“Let me show you something Saiyajin… The true nature of the darkness a Supah Saiyajin holds!”
The man’s aura started to burn into a physical shape, his energy steadily surging around him into a golden hue while slowly and steadily his hair started to spike upward. Despite the fact that he had likely been forced to endure an attack from Kaula, he seemed mostly unfazed by it. Still, the words that would follow would likely have a much greater impact on Kaula than the earlier attack had done.
“A Supah Saiyajin who can’t control his own darkness is a threat to all. Can you still say with confidence that you desire this power, when it could cause you to do THIS?!”
For a moment the simulation seemed to blur, as if an error was happening in the simulator, and instead Kaula would have been able to see a representation of herself, coated in a golden aura and her hair spiked upwards. Her teal-colored eyes glaring with a look of disdain at the corpse she had been standing on, a corpse that on closer inspection seemed to resemble the child-like appearance Reikiko had on Avalon.
“You’ll become a danger to all you might care or love for. You wouldn’t be the first nor the last to succumb to darkness. I ask you again Saiyajin. Do you truly believe yourself superior to those who came before you? Your cockiness shows your insecurity, Your confidence conceals your fragility and your arrogance betrays your inexperience!”
The Super Saiyan roared in anger, flying at Kaula with the intention of raising his arm in an attempt to slam it straight into her body with the intention of knocking her into the ruins of Avalon. In the meanwhile a familiar voice resounded in Kaula’s ear, but whether it was a simulation or not seemed… difficult to figure out.
“What is it that you seek? Is it merely power? Is that the reason you linger around her? Is that why you like Reikiko? Because she is strong? Or do you seek to be accepted? Is that why you cling to your pride and returned to Vegeta?”
As if fighting a Super Saiyan wasn’t bad enough, she had also been forced to deal with a psychological fight as questions were asked, and answers could only be found within her own heart.

Kaula's eyes snapped open when he had disappeared. She had to act fast, her blade suddenly erupting in her green ki as she focused all that energy she had forcibly gathered into an attack. She spun around, using the speed and weight of the sword to try to bring the ki blade towards his attack, her intent on slicing through it so it would damage the both of them, but she'd still take the blunt of the blast, sending her skidding back.
However, as he spoke again.. And the area began to blur.. She blinked. She.. Knew where this place was. This was.. Avalon. But.. Kaula paused, first glancing down at the corpses, a few tears starting to build up in her eyes when she noticed the child. No. No. she thought as she glanced towards the figure that represented her. It would NOT happen like this, she thought as her Ki began to rocket upwards.
And still, his words continued. He kept speaking. He was talking down on her! NO! He cannot talk down on her like that, never!! It would not happen like this! An aura began to flicker around Kaula when he came and went to slam her down to the ruins. She landed with a solid thud, likely kicking up a bit of dust.
She laid there for a few moments as the voice spoke to her, her eyes narrowed a bit as she slowly stood up. "Shut up.." She growled out, her hair starting to spike upwards, "Shut.. Up..." she growled again as she began to move towards the Super Saiyan, her right hand tightening it's grip on her blade. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" she suddenly roared out loudly, her hair suddenly flicking gold as the aura shot up around her. Her eyes turned teal and it was then that she lost control. Seems the site of the area she protected destroyed.. The people she fought to protect dead.. It pushed her over the edge, she'd never let herself lose control, she thought, but here it was.
The, now Super Saiyan hybrid went to charge towards the mysterious super saiyan warrior, bringing her sword up to try to slash at him with an over-head swing with a loud battle cry.

It appeared the manipulation of Kaula’s emotions had been successful even without the use of her dark blessing. While at one part Reikiko felt happy, since this meant that Kaula clearly had the potential to reach the level by herself, it also troubled the Homunculus greatly, for it also confirmed Reikiko’s fear that the same darkness of the Super Saiyan dwelled within Kaula’s heart. The rage of the woman had clearly manifested as she lunged upwards, her blade slicing through the air in an overhead swing. It was a brutal and savage attack, and despite his best efforts to dodge the slash the Super Saiyan had found his equal on the battlefield. His arm lunged upwards, causing his ki to condense around his arm like a layer of armor, but even that was only enough to cushion the blow, and after a moment of resistance the blade sliced through the armoring, the arm of the Saiyan being cleaved off. The roar of agony that came from him didn’t seem enough to stop him, for he raised his knee in a rapid strike, attempting to his Kaula in her stomach, and if the attack had landed, it would have landed with enough force to lift her upwards where the Super Saiyan’s fist had been waiting for her. With his remaining arm he tried to punch her backwards while speaking in a gruff tone.
“Your rage is consuming you. Even as you ascended your mind is still raw and unrefined. At this rate the darkness within you will make the future you despair a reality!”
The words were spoken harshly, but they did seem to carry a certain truth to them. Kaula’s rage was changing her, changing her from how Reikiko usually knew her. It was part of the reason why the Homunculus feared the ascension of a Super Saiyan. It wasn’t simply about their power, but about the darkness within them.
“Weakness is a sin… there is only power.”
The voice that had questioned Kaula before had resounded through the air, seemingly chanting some sort of creed. Whatever the meaning of those words might had be, they likely would have stirred the Saiyajin essence within Kaula.
“Through power, I gain strength.”
The voice became joined by several others, unfamiliar ones that accompanied the chant, and it was starting to eerily influence her opponent, for the energy around the super saiyan had started to surge even more wildly.
“Through strength I gain victory.”
The Saiyan grunted as the stump around his arm seemed to glow faintly, and a sudden surge of ki accompanied the regrowth of his arm. Could this have been truly a feat capable of a Saiyan?! Or was something else happening here?
“Through victory… THOSE WHO OPPOSE ME ARE BROKEN!”
Once more the vivid image of a future where a Super Saiyan resembling Kaula had destroyed all and everything she loved and cared for reappeared, and the last words of the chant would likely have been the most terrifying, for they sounded as if they were spoken by Kaula’s own voice.
“THEIR DEATHS SHALL SET ME FREE!”
Rage… With Kaula’s rage flowing so strongly, what would be the limits of her power, and would Reikiko be able to pacify her rage? Only time would tell…
