Promise was strapped into his chair. He was approaching Garden now. It was beautiful, and so much different than what the scans several thousand light years away read. While it was not green it ocean was still full of life. Just looking at all that forest and water, even from space made his stomach growl. Food gruel had started to take it's tole on him mentally, just the idea of biting into a sweet fruit of Garden after touching down almost made him pass out. He was in his diplomatic gear, which also doubled as a combat out fit. It was white, his peoples color for peaceful intention. But it had blades on his fingertips and his feet as was tradition. He steered the craft in and kicked in the air breaks, bringing him to a slow stop as the sound he had been listening to for thousands of years finally ceased.
Up high in the sky a small object would be seen. It would first appear red but would shift to it's normal color of white with gold inlays. You would have to be looking in just the right spot to see it. But for miles around a holy, magical tone could be heard. It was the sound of the ships on Promises engines. The sound hat allowed him to go faster than the speed of light. It would slowly come to a stop as the craft set down in a small field.
Promise gulped, then stood up before he flew to the door. He had long since decided what he would do when he arrived here. Being sure to be un armed he left the space craft. The light from the sun was almost blinding. The Eelone floated just off the ground and looked all around himself as bunny rabbit's hopped away. He listened to the birds call. Would this be his new home?

Alex had seen the crash from his cave in the forest it was midday and he was bringing his hunt back for lunch. He had never seen a ship in such a strange ship. He quickly grabbed his light weights and put them on. He rushed out the cave mouth leaving his lunch. He ran at an incredibly fast speed. As he was running near an apple tree, he jumped and quickly snatched an apple from it's branches. He ate it as he ran for the landing area. Mt. Paozu was a connecting area between the southern and eastern lands. As Alex got near to the landing area he began to slow down. He walked up to the clearing in which Promise landed. He simply stared in the middle of the clearing. It was exotically beautiful, wearing pure white. It's tall stancher and nimble, peg-like legs mystified him. He knew the species was new to earth and it's people so he had to make a good impression. Alex gulped and hoped the creature was friendly. He walked out from the tree he was standing behind. "Hello, I can tell you haven't been to this planet before so welcome to earth. My name is Alex, it's a pleasure to meet you." Alex put his right arm on his stomach and his left behind his back and bowed toward the being.

ooc: He's unarmed.
Promise stood thirteen feet tall on earth, even higher since he was floating about to travel and felt strong in the earths gravity. It allowed him to float much easier than he had been on his ship. Which was stuffy given all of the years he had been locked inside it. He walked out and cracked his numerous knuckles, good gods the sunlight felt so good. He would have to make a humble sacrifice to the lord of travel by sundown he decided, he was in quite a bit of debt to that god.
He had not been there for very long before he sensed the energy of a relatively strong being. Had he had the means he would have done a full scan on the planet before landing to determine which might be the best area's to terraform and what the average power level of the creatures here was. So when he immediately felt a power half as strong as he was it made the insectiod lizard man sweat a bit. It was only by scanning the power of some rabits and birds that he was able to calm himself. Such weak creatures could not exist if the power level average was so high. Whatever was coming was a special case.
Promise was not about to stand there like an idiot and wait for the creature to come, awaiting it's intent. He merely sat down and gave himself time to meditate and gather his thoughts after such a long journey. When the tan mammal creature came to him he floated off of the small white mat he had been kneeling on. Like a curious giraffe businessman he straitened his golden tie and leaned in close. Examining the primitive white garb it had cloaked it's torso with, this along with the peculiar babbling was enough to make him suspect that this might be an intelligent form of life on this planet. He pulled back as the human finished his sentence and retrieved an orb from his pocket. He tossed it up in the air and by the time it came back down it had activated and was floating under it's own power. It projected a hologram which was complicated an meaningless, but designed to determine his intelligence by if his eyes followed the correct pathways. After this it would scan his entire body revealing to Promise that he was dealing with a carbon based life form, albeit one that was not done growing yet. Finally a palm print appeared on the hologram, if Alex were to touch it then it would confirm his sentience.
As the sphere did it's work Promise made his best attempt to discern what the language had been that Alex had used. In the end he said something like. "Alex, grub halla terran. Mac chow dinyo planet." He hummed a lizard like hum before he bowed in a copy of what Alex had done to him. "Welcome, Pleasure."

The being get closer and got a better look at it. It looked like an ambassador of it's species. It also got a closer look of him as he talked. He saw that it had a second smaller set of arms that both made him curious and freaked him out a little. Alex watched curiously as the being tossed the sphere into the air. When it didn't hit the ground he was made even more curious. The came on and flashed in he eye, making him squint. He looked at the strange symbols following them as well he could. He followed the orb with his eyes as it scanned his body making various sounds that sounded like a language but he wasn't for sure. The orb finished it's scan and floated in front of him and a shape that looked like a human hand appeared on it. He cautiously reached his and forward and touched the orb where the shape was. It made some more noises and went over to the bring. Alex didn't know what had just happened but hoped it was good. The creature said something in it's native language and bowed after saying two words Alex could understand. After the being finished bowing Alex looked at the ground and sighed a small sigh of annoyance the creature was an ambassador and he had to teach it English. He straitened up and looked the being in the eyes. He pointed to himself and said as clearly as he could without trying to sound disrespectful "Alex." He put his hands out wide and turned on his hips and said "Earth." He hoped that it's species had the same jesters as humans did.

Promise's smaller right hand pointed a golden spiked finger at Alex. "Alex, becta. Bacta no ria." He said elaborating in a strange way with his upper hands. The sphere beeped and glowed green, that really made Promise pleased. He would have been really embarrassed for the real intelligent life to come around and find him chatting it up with the alien equivalent for a dog wearing a funny T shirt. He pressed another part of the ball and said. "Bacta, ke oth. Gluteg murf Ria." The devise beeped at his command then started humming very loudly. It would be alright for a moment, however then it got closer to Alex again and grew higher and higher in pitch to the point where it would hurt his ears. If began to fluctuate in volume and tone. Making the humans ears hot, chilly, irritated, before the sensation of present warmth would come. Promise twiddled his smaller set of thumb while the machine found the exact audio wavelength that the human's mind was running at. Eelone technology was practically magic when it came to manipulating sound, the devise was communicating to him almost telepathically. The businesslike words of an AI would find their mark in his head as the devise communicated to him in a businesslike way.
"Hello, you are an: Alex. As a species that will soon begin high level diplomatic talks with the Eelone empire, you need not worry about the very present language barrier. Simply clearly articulate your people's favored language for the regions alphabet into this apparatus. I will do the work of decryption in regards to formulating a strong translation. Do not worry about Garden. Regardless of the way the talks go we have the planet's best interests at heart."

Alex's ears hurt slightly and he cringed at the pain. Then the strange feelings came, he adjusted his stance slightly at the different sensations. When the warmth came he tilted his head back and sighed happily. When the orb spoke he was startled and jumped slightly. He listened carefully to what the orb said. Alex stared blankly at the sphere for a moment, trying to comprehend what he had just done. He came back to the situation at hand and was about to correct it but realized that it might confuse the device, he instead recited the alphabet for the device and how each letter was pronounced because Alex didn't want any confusion. He hoped he said everything right. the device said that they wanted "what was best for Garden/Earth" but he still didn't know for sure if the being was friendly or not so he was a little on guard. (ooc: sorry for the short post)

ooc: That's totally fine, post as little or as much as you want.
The devise patiently took in what Alex told it, at the end after Z in paused for a moment and waited for him to continue. When he did not the machine pulled back and beeped. The humming sound stopped. The following exchange could be heard from the sphere and Promise. "Allexia?" "Port, Allexia harmaginy." Then Alex got to see what the process of sincing up with another mind was like from the outside.
He would just be able to hear a totally different set of tone's being played until one was decided on. If Alex's telepathic link was painful then this one was 8.75 times as much so. Since rather than a simple message being communicated an entire language was. It burned at his brain through his helmet and the bladed mandibles on the back of his head shuddered in agony. Still, if you were to live for half as long as Promise did you would develop untold willpower. Compared to some of the other things he had been through, like the operation that stopped his aging. This was a cakewalk. It was done in just under a minute with his helmet venting the steam that had formed when his perspiration had boiled and turned into gas. Luckily for him this had a cleaning effect and it did not make him smell. After this he looked down at Alex with his many red filtered eyes.
"Hello, nice to finally talk to someone after all of these years. My name is Promise. I am an Eelone. Is your name Alex or were you referring to your species?" His voice sounded like someonewho was kind, but also someone who was in charge. Who knew where he was going with his life, the very tone was used to having people do what it said and he made it clear he was not here to play any games.

Alex was shocked and wanted to gawk a little but could tell by Promises voice he could tell he didn't wan't any nonsense. He hastily replied "Our species name is human." He decided he was going to answer all the questions as short and to the point as he could with his limited knowledge of current society. It was most likely going to be a trying task but he was determined. "If it is fine, I would like to ask something of you before we continue." Alex was unsure if he could be asking a question already but if he didn't ask now he might forget. "Why are you here?" It was a simple yet complex question. He really hoped he didn't upset Promise. He liked the name Promise, It had a very happy and somber at the same time. The more he learned about the people and how willing they are to suffer in order to better under stand the people they deal with then he couldn't wait to see how the rest of the people are. This whole situation excited him and worried him at the same time. He was dealing with a whole race and how humans would look in there eyes.

"Well Alex, should this be your proper name you wish me to address you by. My people live far away, far, far beyond the galaxy cluster that the milky way finds itself in." Promise had to pause for a moment to think of just how he wanted to say this. "We, well... Things did not go so well for our empire at home. It was unbelievably large in it's glory days, there was never a happier time to be an Eelone. Oh, what a place it was fifty thousand of your years ago. While our people don't age any more, thanks to science the world sure did. I remember where I was at that time. Trying to be a good father to my children. But, nothing lasts forever it seems. There was a war, a civil war. We fought for arrogant reasons that seem so foolhardy today. But one lost planet of people lead to galaxy's lost in retaliation. Eventually those few of us who were still around after the great war were so sick of fighting ourselves that a piece was finally made. Unconditional surrender from what was left of both sides. We would have just recovered from there, like the strong people we are. But, weapons to kill people who don't age. People as resilient as us leave their mark on the planet. We just could not live on 99.9999% of the planet's we lost in the war. And with a massive population that could not be kept in our home world. Well, half of us were told to go and half of us were asked to stay. So, without any division of the two churches who started this war. Me people will be here soon, I don't know how soon but it will be within the year for certain. Likely before that. I have been traveling for over ten thousand years in that little ship you see behind me that way I could get ahead of the colonization ships. Because it is my job, as the Eelone chosen to represent my people. To win over the existing hearts and minds of the people of garden and to give my own people land to live on when they get here. I'll need to talk to someone important soon, millions of my kind are coming and once they get here they will not be able to go back. But until then, until I need to talk with a great leader of your race called humanity I think I should know the planet first."
The old, old Eelone leaned in. "Alex, if you wouldn't mind terribly so. Could you tell me about the people and the planet of this place called earth?"

He was surprised about how well he recalled history and how old the person before him was. When he was asked summarize his planets history, he was a little intimidated but calmed himself and tried to remember what he had read in his history book.
"I'll give you as much as I remember but I've never been a history person. Ok, so their has been a lot of stuff in our history in the last ten-thousand and considering the average human life span is about seventy earth years most of it is destroyed or out-right forgotten." He sighed "What is considered "Recent" the last few hundred years. We had to deal with a evil Arcosain king trying to destroy the entire earth because he had the strongest warrior in the galaxy and demanded tribute from all other planets but the earth refused. At the same time a plague broke out that made people bite each other that killed a fairly large fraction of the population. Then our protector, the Kami, fussed with his evil self in order to defeat the warrior the king sent after us, they succeeded but the evil side won and he planned to destroy the earth. That lasted for a about ten years before it ended and our whole galaxy lost millions of people. That happened seven hundred years ago. seven hundred years must seem like nothing to you. I've summed it up as best I could." He breathed a sigh of relief, as his throat hurt from talking that much. He took a break for his throat stop hurting and for Promise to tell him what he thought.

"What's an Acrosian? Well never mind, that sounds awful. I am glad you did not have to live through that. It was noble of the earth to not give in to the warlord, appeasement never gets anyone anywhere. What other races besides humanity are here that I need to know about? Where I came from there was once great diversity."

"Going from most populous to least populous: Humans, which is what I am and typically not very powerful, the saiyans, a race of warrior people who are extremely powerful, the namekians, a gender-less species that is also pretty powerful, not nearly as powerful a saiyans but none-the-less powerful, the Arcosains, they used to run the entire galaxy with their power but where stop by some heroes thousands of years ago, most of them still harbor some tyrannical-ness but some of them are pretty nice, then they majins, I've never seen one my self but they are a race of magic people that are made of a very pliable substance. There are also a few races that make up a small minority of the population. That is all I have off the top of my head. "So you said your race had a civil war what was it about? I mean I'm sure you didn't start fighting for no reason." Alex was hoping he wasn't bringing up bad memories for the ancient being. He seemed nice enough so after Promise finished saying the reason behind the civil war he was going to ask him something else. "So you said your species would be here soon how soon would that be?"

"Hmm, I will keep those races in mind." He said once Alex had finished listing them off. "We fought... How should I explain this. You see, when we were a younger race we expanded greatly beyond what anyone else thought we were capable of. We did so under the strict but benevolent guidance of the old church. They were our government, they housed all of out leaders, and they told us what we could and could not do. They set laws, they decided how worship should be gone about, and they kept everyone as happy as they could. Then... Other people on a planet called Jordan IV had visions. They were from the gods telling them that the old church was wrong. That at it's core it no longer stood for what it was always meant to be, a facet to worship the gods. They made new churches that spit on the old ways, it gathered support quickly. We... The old church was fearful of this development, we labeled them heretics and did what my people had done whenever a force opposed the old churches rule. We declared war and set out to destroy every single one of the old church followers. Things spiraled out of control as they tried to defend themselves. Planets were destroyed, biological weapons were used, it was not pretty. As for when my people arrive, as I said before I just don't know. It will be soon but none of out astronomers were able to predict to the exact day when the holy sound engines would get us here."

"So this may seem like a weird question but where are you going to live until your people get here. That and... never mind" Alex was going to ask if Promise could make Alex learn his language but realized it was stupid and didn't push it. "If you want I can take you to our capital city and bring you to our leader for discussions about your people, if you do want to go your going to have to give me some time to go to my house and get my map. And again, if you do want to go while I'm away be careful. There are a lot of extremely powerful people on this planet, very few of them as nice as me, so watch yourself. I'm not telling you this to scare you, I'm telling you this because you seem like a nice... guy? and I don't want you to get hurt." Alex said this with serious tone a change from his normal, at least some what relaxed, voice. He hoped he didn't scare Promise he just wanted to be his friend and warn him about how dangerous earth is.

"I am a man yes if that is what you are asking. Do not worry about me getting myself into trouble. I am the very soul of caution. Have all the respite you need Alex, though can I ask one thing before you return to your home to sleep? I have been eating nothing but food paste for the last ten thousand or so years. My mouth tastes like dirt. Do you have any, any food that I could eat? Really, I would settle for anything that is not poison to me. And don't worry about that, I can tell what is and is not safe for me to eat." Promise was hardly about to get on his knee's and beg for food but good god what he would give to taste real food once again.
