Starting Power: 750-1500

Appearance:
Almost identical to humans, except for two things - The first and major difference is that most saiyans are born with a brown monkey-like tail; and the second, is that all saiyans have dark brown/black hair and dark eyes.

Background:
Known as a warrior race, saiyans are the violent inhabitants of the planet Vegeta. They live for combat and are usually very proud by nature – children are judged at birth, and either dismissed as ‘low class’, or ranked as ‘elite’, with no room for revisions. They often hold little-to-no respect for other races, though it can be gained if they are shown to be capable of holding their own on the battlefield. They often begin as antagonists, though with time and effort can be shown the path to good.

King Vegeta, Seripa (aka Fasha).

Unique Characteristics:

Zenkai - On taking serious, life-threatening damage in battle those with saiyan blood can gain a zenkai upon recovering from these injuries, which can cause rapid increases in power. Nietzsche would be proud.

Tail Weakness - If an opponent grabs hold of a Saiyans tail (done via Non-Tech attack or a suitable Technique, Non-Tech being avoidable as per normal non-tech avoidance and Technique by successfully avoiding or blocking the attack in question) such pain is sent through the Saiyans body that they are nearly paralyzed by it, a Saiyan in such a state cannot spent KP. This weakness can be trained away via a technique at 10,000 PL

Transformations:

Oozaru (x10*) : Genetic data within the saiyan's tail can be exploited on exposure to Bruits Waves from a celestial body such as a moon which converts sunlight to this energy upon reflection. The resulting transformation into a giant ape yields a 10x power increase. Speed is NOT hindered. CANNOT BE ACTIVATED MANUALLY WITHOUT A CERTAIN TECHNIQUE, AND CANNOT BE 'CONTROLLABLE' UNTIL TEN THOUSAND PL.

When a Saiyan of substantial power is defeated in battle there is a chance that they might tap into a small portion of the Super Saiyan form, for One Post in a thread a Saiyan can utilize this power.

Super Saiyan (x12): The legendary Super Saiyan floods the lore of the saiyan empire! These mighty, golden warriors that flood the legend are the things of honor and fear. The saiyans strive to be among the ranks of these warriors, trying to at least achieve staggering power levels of 100,000 to stand these special ranks! However, certain warriors come to realize one thing, one factor that shakes them to their core in trying to achieve this form upon reaching the time: Nothing. Warriors striving for it don't understand, becoming trapped in despair as they try to figure out why they can not become the golden warrior. Eventually, in their wrathful rage they dig up from deep within themselves, the weather twists and shatters the landscape as their bodies bulk and power spikes. Hair turned golden and eyes teal green, the power explodes outwards in a spectacle. Then and only then, will they have understood and achieved what it means to become a Super Saiyan.

Master | Ultra Super Saiyan (x15 | x17 offense/x12 Defense): There's many a thought about when one achieves the Super Saiyan form. They realize that they can not make use of this form as easily as the legends foretell. In these legends, they say that there were Super Saiyans who could maintain these mighty forms for days on end and not flinch once from the exhaustion. These were known as the the Master Super Saiyans. They were the ones who spent rigorous time, developing their transformation and making it into something much stronger than before! They even learn this one factor, to enter a state called, 'Ultra Super Saiyan.' This form, simply put, is when the Master Super Saiyan decides to exert much more force into the form, bulking up extremely at the cost of speed and stamina. These forms require the Super Saiyan to have mastered how to Ki Suppress (for both), Power Weight (for Ultra), and have a power level of 175,000! Once these factors are achieved, the power becomes permanent to the transformation, though it does not allow the saiyan to remain in this transformation.


(You may be asking yourselves, why are these forms in the same category as one another? Aren't they different than each? The answer is both yes and no! The reason for this is because the Ultra is very much like a special technique that only the Mastered Super Saiyans can use. That's why they're together here.)

Super Oozaru (x22): This form is obtained by tailed saiyans who have managed to master the Super Saiyan form as well as learned Super Oozaru Training and Super Oozaru Mastery. It is somewhat similar to their first form, the oozaru, with the differences being this is significantly stronger then it. The fur is golden and stands on end. Additionally, a golden, crackling aura is sometimes visible around the user. Requires 175,000 power level as well as the master super saiyan form!

Super Saiyan 2 (x25): In fit of desperation and rage, the saiyan may go beyond the Super Saiyan to what is known as a Super Saiyan II! The golden hair spikes up more so from the generated energy that is being put out. In addition, arcs of electricity whizz around the Super Saiyan's body! The records of this form are very limited, requiring much time and energy to uncover the information about this. What is known is that, on top of this forms similar requirements to the original, emotionally, the form requires a boasting 250,000 power level in order to qualify for this form! Once achieved, it is wise to not stand in this Super Saiyan's way. It is also possible for this level of Super Saiyan to be trained into without the emotional trigger, but it requires a mountainous 325,000 power level!


Super Saiyan 3 (x40): There's myth that is rarely spoken of, even in the Saiyan King's court and the afterlife, of another form that dwarfs all the previous forms. It is referred to as the Super Saiyan 3. This form's appearance has described the saiyan's hair growing to extreme lengths, the return of black pupils in the teal eyes, and, an oddly strange loss of eyebrows that only is only there during this form. Though it is goofy, it is said that the super saiyan transforming into it twists the barrier of reality, or perhaps it was light? One was not certain of what happens during it. However, one thing is certain: Even the most powerful of beings should be wary of the form's staggering might. Though it is said to not last long, the power behind it is not to be trifled with. The required power level for this is 400,000.

Mastered Super Saiyan 3 (x45): Much like the previous forms, the Super Saiyan 3 is a form that can be mastered and strengthened even further! However, it can not become Ultra, like the first form. Instead, the duration and power output is increased five fold of the saiyan's base. The training for this ultimate state to be mastered requires the user to have a power level of 500,000 before they can begin mastery. Once achieved, the Super Saiyan 3 becomes that which all saiyans brag about: The most powerful warrior in the universe!
