Articho flew towards the mountain in the distance after having been flying around aimlessly for a good hour. He wasn't lost physically, but mentally, he had no direction to follow. He felt his father's mocking presence hanging over him, as if the Saiyan was laughing at him for not being strong enough. Articho, while still very driven to find and defeat his father, hadn't the slightest clue how to go about it and it left him feeling lost and slightly defeated. He picked up his speed towards the mountain, Mt. Paozu, as he had learned before. It would feel somewhat familiar to him, given his years training in other mountains. This mountain seemed larger than his old training grounds, maybe even had some good sized rocks he could use as weights. Hell, maybe he could find some dinosaurs to try and use for some sort of training. Articho smiled in amusement.
Yes, fighting a dinosaur, he thought as he began his descent to the mountain. Mom will be so happy to see me come home with my arm bitten off. Articho touched down on an open area in the mountain, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of life other than plants. Nothing in sight and he couldn't sense anything too high in power. He walked around the area he'd landed in for a few moments kicking at small stones to inspect them, looking for a suitable stone to add to his collection. After a few moments, Articho found mottled green-grey colored stone that was quite smooth and cool. He smiled in satisfaction and placed the stone into a pouch in his bag. As he replaced the small pouch, Articho retrieved his exercise clothes, a white tank top and shorts, from his bag and changed into them. He placed his bag on the ground and began to walk around the mountain, looking for a decently sized boulder to lift. Most he found were too light and after a few repetitions, Articho would toss them away in frustration. This clearly was not the right way to get stronger. The young hybrid sat down on the top of a flat rock and sighed, his brow furrowed irritation. He was mostly irritated at himself that he didn't know what to do. He sighed again as he tried to think of something that would help his strength grow.

Mt Paozu was a place that Ninjin would consider her home over most places across all the Earth. Despite spending time near the base of the Timeless Lookout she preferred this place more than anywhere. Sitting near the river that her and Daiki had met at so long ago. Her eyes where closed as she was attempting to sense whoever she could across the planet as she was attempting to keep a weary eye upon any power upon the planet that was close to her own. Sensing Daiki far off alongside others she managed to notice a small power heading toward the mountain. It piques her interest as not many headed this way without some reason.
Ninjin followed the power until it flew into a nearby clearing. Opening her eyes the Turtle Master stood up and stretched for a moment before taking into the air. Flying slowly toward the clearing she felt the power land within. Floating over she noticed a solitary figure sitting upon a rock within the clearing. Taking a moment she slowly floated down into the clearing behind the man. Walking around into the clearing in view of the hybrid Raising a hand up she waved at the young half breed.
“Greetings to you. I could not but help but see you flying around out here. Do you happen to be lost as if you are I can easily assist you in order to find your way off the mountain.”
Standing before him it was obvious who she was should he of known anything about the other martial arts school as she had the symbol of mastery of the Turtle School upon her back and upon her upper chest.

Articho's self berating session was interrupted as he sensed a very large power coming towards him. He looked up in its direction, his muscles tensing reflexively, though he knew there wouldn't be much he could do against whatever was coming towards other than just take the pounding it might have in store. That is, if it was bad. He would soon find out, as it was approaching and would reach him soon. Articho watched as a young woman, older than he was, descended in front of him. She didn't attack him instantly, which he took as a good sign. He waved back at her, giving her a quick once over. He noticed the small symbol on her chest. His eyes widened as he recognized the symbol as the Turtle School symbol.
"No, ma'am," Articho said quickly as he stood up and bowed towards the Turtle School master. "I came to the mountain to train, but I'm having some trouble getting started. I'm not sure where to go with my training since my old master became incapable of training me." He felt a sudden temptation to ask her to teach him. Maybe she would be willing? Articho held his tongue for the time being. Hastiness would get him nowhere.

With the formalities out of the way Ninjin was a little surprised with the man’s way of speaking. He was still so formal after she asked about if he needed help. Returning the bow to the man she had a wide smile on her face as she was a little flattered at the man’s ability. Listening to him speak on about his wanting to find a way to train on the mountain brought her to smile widely as she knew the great places within the mountains that they where now sitting within. This place was basically her home now so she would be a great asset for him.
“Well I guess it is a lucky thing that you ran into me. I am one of the few that I can safely say knows these mountains like the back of my hands. I have grown up around this area so if you would want to follow me I could bring you to an area within which that I have liked to train within. As if you are looking for large boulders to haul around that I can easily show you where to go. First question is can you fly with your ki?”
Asking the question as she took up off the grass covered field. Floating over beside him she offered her hand toward him. IT was a friendly gesture more to assure the young man that she had no ill will toward him. As she floated there though she was using her heightened senses to measure the young man’s strength in order to get a full read on him. Feeling the strength of the half saiyan before her she spoke up to introduce herself to him.
“Name is Ninjin Nedrag . Most know me better as the Turtle Hermit of the Turtle School.”

Articho found her smile to be reassuring in a way. She seemed quite pleased at his desire to train on the mountain. Seems fitting that a martial arts master would be happy when someone was trying to improve themselves. He nodded enthusiastically after the Turtle School master finished. "I would consider myself incredibly lucky, ma'am," Articho said, almost bouncing in excitement. "I never thought I'd meet a Turtle School master way out here. You must know all sorts of amazing things!" He nodded in response to her question as he vigorously shook her hand. He could barely contain his amazement and excited energy as he replied, "I can fly, ma'am. I can go anywhere you suggest."
"Incredible..." Articho whispered as she introduced herself. He almost felt that he wasn't close to even being ready for her training. He heard the Turtle School went about their exercise in a hard charging, no nonsense manner. The young hybrid attempted to work up his courage before he responded to her, though he couldn't bring himself to ask for her to train him. She already must be busy with other students and he would take up her precious time with her current students. "It's an incredible pleasure to meet you, Master Nedrag," he said. "My name is Articho Reville. All I am is a kid on a mission and I couldn't thank you enough for helping me get closer to completing it."

Noticing the excitement within the mans voice and actions made it just the more apparent that the man was obviously younger than herself but that was of little consequence to herself. Though as he mentioned of her just being A MASTER of the school she chuckled. As her introduction had stated that she was not just a singular master she was the grandmaster for them all. His words about flight snapped her back from the rather short lived stupor. Letting go of his hand she floated just a short distance away from him.
“Well I will say well met to meet you Articho. Being on a mission is a good thing it helps one maintain focus and stay true to their training. I have known several people that I have specifically trained that have had missions of both retribution and of revenge. I will not ask you what yours is but I can tell that you where raised well. So I will show you one of the main places where I have trained in the past. Now stay up if you can.”
Ninjin smirked at him as she finished speaking taking off into the air as soon as he was in the air as well. She was maintaining her ki just above the mans ki. If the younger man would think about it even in the slightest he would realize that she was testing him as they flew. Despite him not being a student of hers she seemed to want to test him. Flying over a peak she motioned toward a rather distinct and large clearing down below her. With a burst of ki she seemingly vanished and landed on the ground in quick order. Standing there she awaited the young man to catch up to her and land.
“Here it is. A rather bleak area but you can see the areas around here that have been used in the past. “
Taking a moment to glance around she pointed at the obvious circle of stones that was a firepit, the faint roar of water showed where the nearby water supply was and the bleak and yet full of boulders landscape around them.
“Well as you can see there are boulders of most sizes around here. I find them fun to punch and kick and try to lift and carry about if given the chance. All of these helped me strengthen up my body over the months and years I have been coming here. Any questions for me?”
She smiled at the other hybrid as she awaited his response to the rather secluded yet obviously plentiful area for training.

Focus. Articho had to laugh inwardly. He was certainly focused on his mission. He was incredibly ready to punch his stupid father in his cocky face. The hybrid honestly didn't know what to call his mission, though. Justice for his mother because his father abandoned her? Pride for him that he beat his own father? Maybe, deep down, some desire to make his father proud? Articho pushed the last one away. No way he'd want that jerk ever to be proud of him. Turrip may have been his father, but he sure wasn't Articho's dad. He had no right to be called that.
Articho smiled at the Turtle Hermit, "I'll let my mother and my former master know they did well raising me." His feet floated up off of the ground as she finished. Ninjin took off flying after a smirk and he quickly sped after her. His tail and hair were pushed around in the wind as he kept behind her by about 10 feet. Articho studied her ki as they flew. Something was... off about the whole thing. Her power was only slightly above his, which didn't seem fitting of the Turtle Hermit. Was she testing him? Articho furrowed his brow as she motioned towards a clearing, then quickly vanished. Her ki had moved to down below, but he stayed floating in the air for a few moments, mustering up the courage to ask for training. This seemed like a test. He slowly descended down to the ground and touched down in front of Ninjin.
Articho studied the landscape as she spoke. It was much more suited to being a training spot than his other spots. He approached a nearby boulder, rapping his knuckle on the rock and giving it a light push to test its weight. The large stone moved a few inches back, but the hybrid was satisfied.
"You sound like my former master," Articho replied jokingly. "Crazy old mountain hermit that had be carrying rocks since near day one of his training for me. Used to drive me batty, but now I'm kinda fond of rocks. Weird, right?" He paused, smiling and bending down to grab a small stone, black with white and gray flecks on it. He pocketed the rock for his collection before turning back to face the Turtle Hermit.
"Thank you for showing me this place," Articho said with a bow. "I do have one question, though." Articho took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. He looked her in the eyes with fierce determination, "Would you be so kind as to taking me on as your student? Under your teachings, my mother can get her justice for my father's abandonment of her. I owe it to her that I accomplish my task as fast as possible and make myself strong enough to keep her from further harm."

“Well that is a noble mission if I had to say so… Your lucky to have such a mission as many I have met over my travels have had much less noble of goals. Most are stuck with revenge in their minds. Some allow this to consume them and turn them from the good path. So no matter what keep your chin up there Articho. It will be hard to keep them proud but it will get easier the longer you go and do good.”
Speaking up as she smiled toward him. It was her rather normal expression and would definently seem natural for her. Hearing Articho talk about how she sounded like his former master made her chuckle. As the simple fact that she sounded like a former master for someone made her feel a little better. It was something that she was trying to do as acting the part of a proper master for her school was important for her. Though she remained quiet as she watched him walk around and push a couple of boulders. Seeing the hybrid move a nearby boulder it made her smile widen a little.
“Not as weird as you would think. I have heard of back within the history of the Turtle School the old grandmasters did the exact same thing. Tied down students with large boulders on the shoreline and forced them to pull the boulder back and forth across it. So using these boulders just seem to be something that many schools use as it is quite a good way to train without the need for new fangled equipment or weights.”
Her words where soft and yet twinged with a smidge of smugness about the training styles in the past. As to her this was one moment where the older ways could be the best course of action. When he thanked her for showing him the place that she did she waved him off. To her it was nothing to come along and show someone somewhere that will help them grow as a person is what she was to do. Though as he spoke up asking about her to train him she smirked as she turned to look at him.
“You wish for me to train you? Alright I could do that. The thing is I would want to ask you to show me your fullest extent of power so that I would know what it is that I would have to work with.”
She spoke softly yet seriously. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she turned and looked right at Articho.

"I'll do my best to keep on the high road. I don't think it would be too hard, so long as I focus on why I'm doing it. My mother has gone above and beyond her best to raise me well and it's what I owe to her," Articho replied. "My father is a foolish man for leaving my mother," he added with a mocking smirk. "It's a shame for any Saiyan to miss out on a an easily attained good meal, wouldn't you say?"
The Turtle Hermit's constant smile kept Articho in an easy feeling. She was much kinder than he would have expected given her status as the master over such a prestigious school. He felt slightly relieved that she wasn't as stern and disciplined at all times of the day as he expected she would be. "Fair enough," the hybrid agreed. "I still use boulders to train, though getting some weighted gear would be a nice addition to my training."
Articho was taken slightly aback. To hear her so readily agree was surprising to say the least. His words were caught in his throat for a short time until he caught himself and recovered, setting his face into a determined expression. "What would you have me do, Master Ninjin?" he asked. He wasn't sure what she was asking if him, though he had a feeling it was to fight her.

She frowned ever so slightly at the sour mention of Articho’s father. It was obvious to her that he was a definite sore spot for the other saiyan. This was something she could use to help motivate the young man. For now though she wanted to test him to just see how strong he truly was to see how far she would have to tell him to travel before she would train him properly.
“Well you are not alone with your father leaving your mother as my own father did the same thing. Though I figure that the fact my father died shortly before I was born is why mine was not there for me. Though you are right as a easily attained meal is one that we should not miss EVER.”
Chuckling as she spoke the last word she smiled at him before readying herself up dropping into a stance. His eagerness was something that she had expected especially after all of her interactions with Daiki over the months since they met. The eagerness was another good sign as she opened her mouth.
“I want you to come after me with the most power that you can musterArticho. But yes if you wish to train with me that you will need to go and purchase a gi for the school and as you said some weights would not hurt the process. But before any of that I want to see how strong you are right here and now.”
She could easily sense his strength but she was going to stick by the old adage of to fight with someone is to know someone.

Articho sighed and nodded. "Must be nice not having to resent your father. Mine just up and left before I was born with only a challenge to beat him as the sole thing he left us. It was basically an invitation to hate him and I can't wait to send his stupid face hurtling into a hard surface," he said as he grinned. Speaking of his father got his blood flowing and his want to fight was set so high it needed to be answered. "My mother is pretty good with making a lot to eat. Which is weird, if you think about it. It's like she was used to doing it a lot. Maybe she did and maybe my father stayed with her for a while until I came into the scene. Not that it makes much of a difference to me. He's still going to get it."
Articho nodded at Ninjin's request and dropped into his own stance. She would be an tough foe and he could tell that the power he sensed from her was not reflective of how strong she actually was. His eyes narrowed in concentration before he quickly flew towards her. The hybrid launched a few ki blasts from his hand until he was a yard from her. Articho dropped to the ground and slide the remaining few feet before pushing himself up and aiming a side kick right at her stomach.

“No I still resent the bastard. I have my entire life. I only learned recently that he died shortly before I was born. So my hatred and resentment had no place in reality. Someday I will meet him again and when I do I am going to punch him in the face before giving him a hug. You speak like your father is still alive. So do not squander the chance that you might have at a possible reconciliation just because he acted like a saiyan would.”
Her words where to the point but she knew that it was true. The largest regret she had was that her father had not lived long enough for her to show him what it was that she had attained. The power of the legends of the Saiyan people was hers to wield but she snapped into reality as he lowered himself into a proper fighting stance. A sly smile crossing her lips as she awaited his movements.
With a burst she kept a close eye on him as he fired off the ki blasts toward her. Raising her hand up she caught and deflected the blasts with one hand. The deflected blasts however distracted her enough that the kick connected with her side. Yet she did not even move as the kick slammed her in the side. To her opponent it would feel like kicking a large tree with the side of their leg. Ninjin turned and began to through a bunch of punches toward the man. Despite the obvious power difference she had lowered down her offensive strength to be just barely above his all the while keeping her defensive ability up high enough to shrug off his attacks.

Articho silently agreed with Ninjin, though he loathed to admit it. Maybe there was still a chance that he and his father could get along, but it'd still have to be after Articho beat him. He would get some satisfaction for him leaving, but maybe Turrip would turn around and be a father to him. The hybrid was completely conflicted on the subject, but there was no time to reflect on it. It was time to fight.
Articho was completely stunned as his leg bounced harmlessly off of her. He might as well have kicked a wall with as little strength as possible. She hadn't moved an inch, except to turn in his direction and punch at him. Articho threw his arms up to block the other hybrid's blows before using his other foot to push himself away. He back flipped a few feet away and faced her again. "I knew there was more to your power than that," he commented before dashing at her again. He tried to move as fast as possible, faster than normal eyes could see. He attempted to move quickly behind her, then follow up by swinging his elbow towards the back of her head.

The moment that the young hybrid she was slinging punches toward managed to get back away from her with a rather skillful jump she smiled. IT was good to see someone who was rather naturally gifted a lot like her other two students. When he made a comment about her holding back powerwise she smirked and let out a light chuckle.
“You do not know the half of it Articho. How about this if you manage to get me off my feet I will show you just how much strength I do have?”
As she was speaking she lowered her guard for a moment. Her opponent took the opening and struck out at her as she blinked and he was gone. Before she could even close her eyes to try and track the young man she felt his elbow make solid contact with the back of her head. This caused her to stagger forward a few steps as she had not been able to prepare herself for the strike as it came out at her.
Regaining her footing after the blow landed she turned toward him smiling as she pushed her feet into the ground lunging toward him. Spinning quickly she aimed a roundhouse kick to catch him ever so slightly and knock him off his feet. Though this attack obviously left her open to counterattacking her planted and vulnerable leg.

"I'll do my best to do that," Articho said, a large smile on his face. He hadn't felt so good in ages. The mere experience of fighting such a strong opponent then getting a full read on her power was a powerful incentive. His excitement shot higher as he managed to knock Ninjin forward a few steps when he hit her. Articho turned to face the other hybrid and saw her lunging at him. He expected a high blow from her, but instead she swept his feet out from underneath him. Articho felt himself get pitched into the air, then fall back down to earth. The hybrid adjusted himself as he fell so he would land on his feet. He felt his shoes hit the ground before lunging at her vulnerable leg and grabbing onto her ankle. He attempted to trip her up with a quick burst of speed upward, followed by a push towards the earth to slam the Turtle Master into the ground.
