History:
Pola is certainly not a warrior-born Arcosian. Adopted by an extremely wealthy Arcosian merchant lord with a heavy stake in various trade networks, he didn't get to see much of his adopted father; rather, his slaves were the ones taking care of Pola. This generally meant that whatever Pola wanted, he got without question or work. His every demand was met which led to a spoiled rotten lifestyle. He never had to earn anything, and in addition, he had job security without working a day in his life. His adoptive father's legacy would fall right down onto him, as per the reason of his adoption in the first place, making him instantly wealthy without lifting a finger when the correct time came. Until that point, the most crippling work he had to do was drag himself outside the walls of his comfy room to a personal study in order to be tutored about the finer points of mathematics, economics, and business. While it was incredibly boring, it was almost the fine print on the contract of his existence. He didn't pay a lot of attention to the matters. Sitting in the lap of luxury, he considered himself a blessing to all those around him, and that anyone beneath him should flock with open arms and empty pockets to give him whatever he desired. Why should he have to lift a finger to be filthy rich? This, in truth, annoyed his adoptive father quite a bit though he was never at home enough to express it. Pola didn't mind the fact, either; the sooner his old, greedy father passed away, the sooner he'd find himself swimming in a large fortune to live out the rest of his days, whether the trade business went under or not. He made one friend during this time, a fellow Arcosian named Hale who was more lower-born than the family Pola had been adopted into. Due to Pola's repulsive attitude toward other beings, it was a friendship of circumstance, at least at first. They needed each other for any meaningful social contact.
Pola was a complete spoiled brat and drove off anyone who he'd speak to. Hale, on the other hand, was of a very low class in society and it was often embarrassing for the families of those considered his betters to hang around him. The two had a rough friendship at first, but it soon became genuine when they entered their teens and Hale introduced him to a favorite hobby; slave fighting. Many of the strong-bodied slaves collected from various races through numerous trades would use blood-sports as a way to vent their anger and make some money off of each other. They knew full well if they spoke rashly to who they belonged to, they would likely be beaten or killed by some of the more impatient royalty. Hale had been participating for quite some time and was a well-known fighter among the pack, while it was clear from day one that nobody wanted Pola there. That is, at least, until they discovered he couldn't fight. With his cushy lifestyle, Pola had no need to enroll in anything even close to a basic self defense class. He was beaten mercilessly by every opponent he had, and slowly but surely, he learned from loss how to fight back. After seeing his friend beaten down so many times, Hale finally stepped in and shared his knowledge of fighting as well to round him out.
He was slowly becoming accepted into the group of fighters which grew larger and larger as time passed. He was now an entertaining match for many of them, and found himself enjoying the thought of a new way of life where he could use it. He began to place his head in the clouds, daydreaming about becoming a strong warrior and competing in tournaments with Hale at his side. His father, however, wasn't having it. In fact, he had decided to ship him off on his first ever trade using his trade ship, the Glacia, and within a few weeks he was flung across the stars to a far away planet for a high-dollar trade that could make or break the family business. En route, however, he was ambushed by a small raider ship, or so it first appeared to be. As the strange vessel caught up and docked with the Glacia, a stream of monkey-tailed boarders, Saiyans, set out to slaughter every breathing thing on that ship. They stole the cargo, took slaves of the weaker crew, and killed anyone who put up any resistance. Hale didn't even know about the occurrence. Pola barely managed to drag himself to the escape pod after managing to kill a few, where he was promptly followed in a pod by a Saiyan given orders to make sure the ''trade lord's son'' didn't make it anywhere alive.
Hurtling through space with gaping wounds toward a blue and green planet called Earth, he was set on a crash course with an occupied Saiyan pod nipping at his heels. With no response after sending a distress call and his first contact with the outside world ending in such violence, a dark seed had been planted in the young Arcosian's heart. Landing in a crash, he barely had time to clamor to his feet as the Saiyan pod touched down, and the occupant wasted no time in beating him senseless. Managing to kill the Saiyan with a primal desire to survive, he rested and licked his wounds in a cave and waited for days after sending for rescue with no shadow or attempt of a response. His sadness from abandonment twisted into anger, and has begun to give rise to dark thoughts. He has decided that power is the means by which no one will ever harm him again, and force will be the medium upon which his vast fortune is regained from the old Arcosian who had abandoned him. Taking on a brash survivalist mentality, with the right motivations he may yet prove dangerous...
