((Thread # 4 in Zerori's timeline~This is a flashback and meeting thread. Also PL: 2,607 with heavy weights on))
“Oh, by the gods, where is that damn spring?! They said ‘buy our map! It’ll take you exactly where you need to go!’ But here I am,” Yelled a voice, deep within the serene atmosphere of a forest she’d heard about, “-and what do I find? Trees, trees, trees!” By this point, she was about ready to just tear this piece of junk into pieces and climb the infernal sentinels for a better vantage point.
It was 2 days since leaving the Eastern City that she was trekking back using the information she needed to return to West City. She had gotten a scouter and was using the advanced technology to find a spring that was said to have great healing powers. For some reason, and for a very shameful reason, her energy wasn’t back in top form and her wounds had only healed to a certain extent. So, in the same fashion a traveler would search for a rare location to gaze upon, she was scouting for a rare spring that was deep in a forest with the name Fukurou.
Leaning against a tree, she folding the map messily back into her provision pack at her side and let out a sigh. Upon her body were very cumbersome and aching weights, another expense she decided was worth looking into. Her fight with the Oroboros group left her drained, wary of anyone around her, and woefully disillusioned.
It was just by luck that this forest was so peaceful. Clicking her scouter, she got a good reading of everything around her; nothing, again. It’s like… nothing existed here. ------ (Four years ago, In space, Omega Space Station) .. . It was only during her first year since leaving Vegeta, shamed and utterly devastated that her mother would have forsaken her so easily. She was taken by the idea of being a mercenary, bounty hunter or just anything to make ends meet and grow in fame and glory. However, aside from all of those unnecessary things, she wanted to make an obscene amount of money doing what she was good at. People would know her as the ‘Red Doll’, a guise she came up with as a little girl whenever she would go on adventures as a child. It’s not like anyone would be able to connect the two, since her mother was never around and her father… was already dead.
So it was here, at the Omega Space Station that she was waiting to here back from a client. It was an open job, meaning that might meet more than one prospective mercenary willing to take the job. However, it was highly unlikely since the job entailed something quite unheard of.
Looking at the data pad in disdain, she eyed the word ‘Reconnaissance’ with shame. Her brash behavior in battle was one of the key reasons that she made bad marks. It would only be later in her life – through the near-death experiences she would face – that she would find more satisfaction and control doing jobs like these. However, as a young lass of 19, with the ideal that she could take on anything in the universe, she was bound to make some mistakes.
She just wouldn’t realize how big they would be.
When a very scrawny person seemed to walk by her, also looking for something in particular, she looked up from her data pad and tilted her head. They were short, but still had long legs and arms and their race was blue with very small horns on their head. Something seemed familiar about them, despite never seeing them before. Looking back at the pad, then back at the person, she realized it was the client. They showed their face to their mercenaries?! Wasn’t that…? “Uh… you wouldn’t happen to be looking for… ‘Red Doll’, would you?” And just like that, they turned to her with an expression of relief and happiness.
“Yes! It’s great to meet you, miss-?!” He waited for her to respond and she just grimaced.
“Uh… Zerori…”

OOC: I mistakenly posted with Tao's account, thinking I had already switched back to BREU's. Sorry and disregard this post.

This one’s a pleasant afternoon for our favorite blue person. A soothing, fresh breeze runs through the trees of Fukurou Forest. BREU lays comfortably within a natural pool in the spring by the heart of the forest. A dense population of trees and an earthy walls hide its location; everything is so peaceful and silent that makes you wonder how the hell someone as BREU can be a protagonist of this story; there he is, bathing in the warm waters, his arms stretched to his side, resting over the borders of the natural pool. In his right hand, obviously there is a bottle of something alcoholic. Mead, more exactly. And if this setting wasn’t weird enough… it is a low alcohol mead. Melomel, more specifically. Thing is: Vi-Poi and some of the KAOS members went on a trip to Planet Vegeta. After lending his services to the BBA cause during Operation Downfall, the cyborg decided he would much rather have a bit of a vacation and seized the opportunity to spend the days his boss and colleagues would be away to do absolutely nothing. He visited his personal stash, grabbed a bottle of something he would never be seen drinking in public and went to the quieter place he heard about in the surroundings of the Western Frontiers. And there he laid, savoring inertia. As he takes a gulp of his melomel, he notices a few birds flying away from above the trees just a few meters away from his special vacation spot. BREU’s ears managed to capture the yelling of an apparent lost lady, who couldn’t realize the spring she was looking for was right behind that wall of trees to her side because of the configuration of the forest. BREU’s scouter had already picked up this person’s ki-signature, but due to feeling really lazy he could care less about going to check it out. However, now that he heard her frustrated voice ripping the tranquil forest’s silence, there was something about it that he found familiar. The curious bio-android stood up, dripping hot water from his body and reaches out to his pants to cover at least his…parts. He then makes his way towards this person, moving stealthily through the tree wall that separated both characters. Moments later he sees this young woman with dark-tanned skin and spiky hair and a tail wrapped around her waist. He knew her. – “Hehehe… Earth is indeed a small world… If it isn’t my favorite Doll in the entire space” – BREU states, emerging from behind the trees, making a reference to Zerori’s mercenary name. The reason the saiyan merc scouter didn’t identify BREU…or Kurasao, as she would remember him, was due to the biomechanical enhancements he earned after crashing on Planet Earth, that killed off his ki-signature. – “What are the odds... It’s been a long time” –
We now jump to a flashback that take us to four years ago...

((For reference: Red Doll Armor is this: oyster.ignimgs.com/ve3d/images/04/65/46519_SWToR-Art-02.jpg )) The reaction of our saiyaness protagonist would most certainly be interesting to the reader; seeing as the bio-mechanical android apparently knew her. And indeed, Zerori knew him as well. But to see why and how they knew each other, our story will take place when their companionship met… in space. ------- (In space, 4 years ago, Omega Space Station) .. . The client she’d been looking for, regrettably now, seemed to express his gratitude so overzealously that she was starting to contemplate handing this job off to another. Why did she have to pick the weird one?! When at last he seemed calm enough to stop shaking her hand off of her wrist, he took a step back and introduced himself properly. “As you are aware, my name is Lintal and I run a business to keep businesses safe. It’s not very fun and I found that it dwindles in profits quite often,” She rolled her eyes when he added in excitedly, “-That’s why I was so happy to see such a strong and talented young lady such as yourself!” “Yeah, thanks; I get that a lot,” She urged, trying to get the conversation back on track. His constant kissing-up to her existence was almost as worse as someone insulting her existence; it was just got disingenuous after so long. Taking the hint, he got back to the point quickly; hopefully realizing that she wasn’t to be trifled with. “Right, uhm,” He started, stuttering to remember his thoughts, “-I want you to go down to the metropolis of Eid-2; it’s a big city but everything is quite organized there. Advanced technology, great culinary experience and the pleasure centers are a real treat. See, ah, this one time-” Before he could continued, Zerori firmly slapped her hand on the bar besides her, causing him to jump in fear at her very annoyed but strained smiling face. “The. Job,” She reminded and beckoned with her finger for a tender to give her a drink. Thankfully, he arrived quickly and delivered her order in a matter of seconds. However, the night continued on like this. The client telling her the information, getting off track, and her gently easing him back on topic. The term ‘gently’ used… quite gently. And so, fast forwarding; here she was on Eid-2, knelt down in her signature armor for the ‘Red Doll’ persona, overlooking the metropolis as paid to from the vantage point of a building. The quarry was a shape-shifter that couldn’t change one aspect of their body; the scare on the back of their head. No matter their form. However, without some sort of highly advanced scanning device – which she had none with this basic armor that simply hid her appearance – she would have to use her eyes and ears. At the very least, she mused as she looked over her arm-mounted PDA, I’ve got this baby.[/i]

Four years ago...
This flashback takes us to way before BREU got his cybernetic enhancements… or his codename BREU, for that matter. He was still known as Kurasao, although he had just began his career as a space merc, so he still had a long road ahead of him before he made a name in the field. It’s been a few months since he escaped the brenchian prison in which he was locked up, hijacked a military vessel and fled the planet to begin his “solo career”. The buzz saw he got in prison had already grown a few inches, just enough so he could get a small quiff. He was pure flesh and bone still; no mechanical arm yet for the soon to be brewdroid. At 25 years old, he had stopped growing a while ago, standing 1,92m tall (or 6’3” in the feet system). Since he had just been in prison, with not much to do but mop corridors and work out, he was actually a bit bulkier than he is in the present (and also why he was 1 cm taller). The alcoholism is omnipresent in his life, no matter the timeline. Just a bit of trivia; it was in prison that he got the tattoo in his left shoulder. He was also weaker by that time and if anyone used a scouter on him, his power would check at 4.666. But that’s enough of description for now.
BREU had just signed a contract with this funny looking client. The job seemed easy enough and the payment was good. He got a parcel upfront and would receive the rest after the mission was done. And thus, were at the main scenery for this story; Eid-2. We see Kurasao (I’ll be referring to him using his birth name for this roleplay for now on) standing on the top of a building in the middle of the metropolis. It’s a tall edifice; higher than any in the surroundings (it was a tough climb… he still didn’t know how to fly back then) for a strategic advantage. In his hands, we see a set of hi-tech binoculars. In his back, we see the handle of a sword. He is watching this element in a building a few quarters away from him; this figure is clad in some sort of power armor and seem to be looking for something – or someone – as well. Attached to his thigh there is a bottle of a strong distilled drink he brought with him from his pit stop in Omega Space Station. He takes a sip and lowers the binoculars for a moment. Makes you wonder what is his business with this individual...
OOC: For fun-ness, I'm setting BREU's pl to his starting pl, like Zerori is at her's. Makes sense due to the nature of this flashback. He also will have only 3 technique slots: Techniques known will be Tekila Shot and a counterpart to his Energy Absorbers mk II, which is merely a Tier 2 Barrier technique just as well, that is executed in the same fashion of a Kiai(click for link to wikia) technique, since he didn't have his mechanical arm back then.
No weights on Base Pl (flashback): 4.666 Base Pl (present): 17.135 (You know me well and know that I hate broken numbers... so you read it as 4.000 and 17.000 in your scouter respectively...)

From her vantage on the building, she couldn’t help but appreciate the absolute beauty of this world. The technology was almost effeminately created, like a flower whose purpose was changed to serve something greater. However, her job wasn’t to sight see and behind the visor she looked through the tint to gather clue to track the poor bastard she was set upon. As long as she kept her gaze to the backs of the peoples’ necks, she’d spy him. Luckily, this worlds’ fashion sense dictated that the back of the neck always be exposed.
Alright. Show time, She chanted in her head and looked down at the ground. As long as she was in control of her body’s movements, then the usual phobia of heights didn’t bother as much. Rising to her feet, she took a step forward and let her body free fall toward the ground. Her heart lurched in her chest, but her eyes stayed focused on the obstacles and objects that passed by her at a break-neck speed. Just as she was close to the ground and nearly upon it, she lashed out with her hand and – in an iron tight hold – grasped a bar that held up an animated board and broke it off to slow her fall.
As she finished her descent, landing roughly along the carbon-coated streets, her boots made a crater in the ground. Smoothly, she got to her feet and walked forward into a crowd that screamed and ran for cover. In a matter of seconds, the board crashed into the ground behind her in a fury of light and sound, sending sparks to fly from all around her. Zerori simply stood stock still, her armor protecting her vision and safe-keeping her body from harm. Her interest was watching the crowds diligently.
To many, what she did would ordinarily completely fuck up a mission as delicate as the one she was one. Mass panic, destruction of property, disturbing the peace – or did that go hand in hand with mass panic? The list could go on a bit more but to Zerori, it was all a necessary by-product. And when her gaze was suddenly attracted to a suspiciously hooded figure, she took off in a run toward him.
“You’re mine!” She hissed, uncaring if it was her quarry or not; she had to take the chances when she could get them and seeing him run from one shadow to the next was like a big blaring sign that said ‘Hey, I’ve gotta be the target!’. And with any luck – or just plain skill…
She’d make him look just like the sign she brought down moments before!

To the Mechanical BREU: You've gained 881 Zeni towards your total Zeni!
881 + 1,702= 2,583 total Zeni! (Making bank while reminiscing. Is there anything better?)
