Appearance:
Despite the physically strenuous nature of his occupation and his hobbies, Sam is at first glance, a fairly average looking fellow. Standing at an unimposing sixty-nine and a half inches and weighing no more than one hundred and sixty pounds, Sam is within half an inch of the national average and seems to possess a fair bit of muscle, but not enough to make him seem frightening. Similarly, Sam puts forth no effort to have any of his other features seem out of place and keeps his black hair cut to ear length and shaves at least once every two weeks.
In short, Sam-Mitch Anjips struggles to remain as inconspicuous as he can when it comes to his outward appearance.
However, particularly astute individuals might take note that Sam maintains a physique focused on performance rather than aesthetics and walks with the rolling gait of an accomplished athlete. Similarly, Sam's hands are covered a myriad of tiny knicks, scars and calluses hinting at his manual dexterity and the sheer amount of practice he puts in to maintain his skillset.
History: Born the second son and third child of a pair of accomplished scholars, Sam grew up living something of a privileged lifestyle.
Given his father's successful career as a psychologist and biologist and his mother's as a world renowned physicist, Sam did not get to see much of his parents unless it was between book tours or during events at one of his parent's alma mater. Thankfully, his parents were fairly well adjusted individuals despite their unending career ambitions and made sure that their children grew to cherish one another and seek opportunities to grow together. It certainly helped that Sam's siblings were exceptionally sociable and seemed to dote on their younger sibling.
For years, Sam and his siblings were nearly inseparable, however, when Sam entered his teenage years that changed, drastically. It became apparent to Sam's parents and instructors that he was leaps and bounds ahead of his classmates and that continuing to teach him as they had would be detrimental to his development. As such, Sam was placed on an accelerated learning program, wherein he excelled and soon found himself graduating high school before his sixteenth birthday. Unfortunately, that meant that he was now ahead of both of his siblings and with his parents pressuring for him to pursue his dreams, Sam moved away from home to attend a prestigious university.
For six years, Sam slaved away at the university, working as the research assistant and favorite pupil of an esteemed colleague of his father's. Sam did exceptionally well during his studies and after graduation, found himself being recruited by a privately owned company's 'Think Tank' which was collecting some of the brightest minds from around the world. Though he missed his siblings, who he had not gotten a chance to spend much time with during his six years of study, Sam took the opportunity and soon found himself developing new theories on weaponry and other military technology.
For eight months Sam worked for the company and though he sorely wished to leave, he did not as he had found a friend in a scientist who seemed to be researching the origins of 'Ki' and it's applications. Sam studied with and under this martial-artist turned scholar and soon found himself more proficient in martial arts than he could ever have dreamed. However, his teachings did not stop only at how to throw a punch or how to block one; his teacher also taught Sam about moral responsibility and reinforced in Sam that he needed to leave, lest his work and mind be perverted by the company's greed.
So, one day, Sam did leave. Unfortunately,, leaving meant that Sam had violated his contract and was now liable for a law-suit. Sam only served to agitate the incident by taking pictures and making a blog about it.
Now, almost a year and a half after he left, Sam is traveling the world, blogging about company greed and moral responsibility.....and trying not to get sued doing it.

[N1] Switch-Blade - Forming his ki into a razor-sharp but thin blade of energy, Sam flicks his wrist to let fly with a bright blue burst of energy capable of slicing into the flesh of his opponents
[N1] Ki Barrier - Forming his ki into a translucent cube of bluish energy, Sam can protect himself and/or remain aloft by standing on top of what is essentially a fairly flimsy barrier made of ki.
[N1] Shocking Grasp - Turning his ki into electricity, the user grabs hold of their opponent and applies a powerful electric shock to harm them.
[V2] Shocking Lance - A variant of Sam's 'Shocking Grasp' technique, when using the Shocking Lance, the user focuses their ki into their hand before turning it into electricity and throwing it at their opponent. The attack damages the opponent accordingly and stuns them for one round.

[SU] Ki-Sensing - A popular technique, through undisclosed means, this technique allows the user to gain a rough idea of another being's presence by the ki they give off or possess. Those who are particularly skilled in this technique's usage are even capable of gaining a rough idea of their target's 'Power Level'.
[SU2] Zone
- Focusing his ability to sense ki and taking it to another level, Sam is able to form a sort of psuedo-radar sense capable of detecting the ki energy and location of any individual or attack that enters an area within 6 meters around him. Outside of this range, he is limited to only his normal ki-sensing capabilities.
[SU] After-Image Technique - Another popular and admittedly simple technique, this technique requires the user to move faster than the eye can follow. Assuming it is performed correctly, the user will have left an optical illusion version of themselves, perhaps in a compromising position, which will distract the opponent.
[SU] Ki Suppression - Yet another popular technique, through manipulation of their own ki, the user will suppress it within themselves to obscure other's ability to sense it's presence or strength.
