Chapter 1: Hidden Truth & Coming War
Cargo had spent some time away from North Village as he vowed never to return. He instead joined the makeshift village where Dahu resides and has been a big help in the months he's lived there. He's began training the young ones for short spells at a time and they have been progressing quite nicely. Most of the young ones are instantly taught the ways of the healer, but Cargo was able to convince the two elders to allow him to train a few in combat. All has truly been well for him as his power has seen him slap down any and all comers alongside Dahu, but there is a strange energy in the air. It seems to slowly begin swarming all of Namek and this foul energy has bothered Cargo deeply.
"Dahu, please tell me that I'm not the only one feeling that."
"Well, I'd be lying if I claimed that I couldn't feel this foulness myself."
"As much as I hate it we have no choice but to leave the little ones to fight and go check out exactly whats going on. This energy is too powerful to ignore Dahu and we must find the source immediately."do battle just yet
"Cargo I can't go through with something like that. The young ones have been making great progress but in all honesty they cannot handle actual combat just yet. I'll stay here and you check out the surrounding area. After you get a few clues just come back here and inform me that way they don't have to fight and you don't have to fight alone."
"You make a very good point, but if it needs to be dealt with I'll need you with me. It's strange when you sit and think about it. It has been awhile since those shrouded namekians attacked the village."
That is when he remembered a story he overheard long ago. Why did it take him so long to figure this out? How did he not realize sooner what those namekians were? How did he not know that the bandit he killed so long ago could possibly be of that clan? How? How? How could he have let this slip his mind? Cargo then thinks back to the words that were spoken some time ago by a village elder.
"Come here my underling. I feel it's time to tell you of a dark spot in our history seeing as how you are old enough and wise enough to know this. Long ago there was a namekian by the name of Screw. He was part of the warrior clan and a very decent fighter at that, but he didn't like the idea that if Namek was attacked that everyone in the warrior clan would have to rise up against the threat. He felt that one superbly strong Namekian should have to fight. He trained vigorously and actually had the power do what he wanted, but the power twisted him and corrupted his heart and mind. He wanted to kill us all for a reason I know not, but Guru would not let that happen. Screw and Guru battled like no namekian had battled before. It seemed that screw was too much when Guru wisely sealed him away. During that time there were more Namekians who believed in what Screw was telling them and they left the clans and became twisted themselves. They became known as the Demon Clan. We were at war with the Demon Clan for some time, but their numbers fell to nearly none and their strongest warriors were no longer among us. The retreated to the mountainous region not too far from the north village. They are no longer considered a threat and they have no one to lead them or guide them. We have nothing to fear from them now, but it is still important that you know of these events so that you may pass them on one day yourself. Now go ahead and tend to the little ones."
"Dahu, have you ever heard of the demon clan of namekians?"
"Demon Clan Namekian? You have got to be joking? There has never been such a thing because if there was then the elders would have taught us all about them."
"Are you serious right now? Namekians are a people of peace and yet there are those of us that have become twisted and corrupted. You have seen this first hand back at North Village when I was accused of being in that exact clan! What? You thought he was just blowing smoke?"
"I simply assumed that he was just making it up in order to get them to fight you or something I don't know."
"Don't be so naive Dahu! These types of namekians exist as does this clan. If they didn't then we wouldn't have had such a tough time getting your elder and his people here now would we. Evil exist in the hearts of these namekians and the elders labeled them as demons. We have an entire history that has been taken away from us and I want to know why. Maybe that is why this foul energy is in the air. Maybe it is time for all of the elders secrets to finally be revealed."
"I refuse to believe that our elders would have kept something like that from us. You are truly insane Cargo and I can't believe I was ready to fight our own kind for you."
"Wow, I can't believe you just said that. Fine! Tell me where is the silent one and I'll leave this place."
"He sent me home after we trained for awhile. He said he needed to go back into the mountains where he truly belonged, and I hope you find him. He may be the only one to talk some sense into you."
"Mountains? Are you sure he said mountains?"
"I'm positive that's what he said, why?"
"I've been called insane once and I won't be called insane again. Good luck on keeping them safe Dahu. I have to go and find out what's causing all this mess, and I believe the silent one knows exactly what it is."
Cargo goes to the young ones and rubs all their heads with a big smile. They didn't know it was the last time they would be seeing their mentor, but it was better to have them not know. Cargo took to the air as they waved with joy expecting him to return soon and Cargo waved back knowing that he would never return. He takes to the air and heads directly for the mountains of Namek in hopes of finding what is said to no longer exist.

:MEANWHILE:
"How was your endeavor to the outside Kain? You had been gone for quite some time."
"I met him father. I met my brother Cargo."
"Did you now? Well you have to tell me how is he?"
"My brother is more than capable and he is an incredibly powerful warrior. I know you felt him when he was last in North Village. That power was all him father."
"Well Well, it seems my son grew to become a capable warrior after all. I can also see that you yourself are more powerful as well. Can I ask how?"
"It was all because of Cargo. He trains in a way I've never encountered. He'd rather empower his mind instead of blindly trying to increase his strength with no true substance."
The large cloaked figure grinned after hearing the news of his son. It was all true what this Kain had said about Cargo. Cargo had grown from a weak and feeble warrior into someone capable of destroying entire villages if he wanted to. The large figure stood up and walked over to a short strange looking namekian who was chanting with his hands placed over an orb. The orb glowed a bright purple and seemed to emit energy all throughout the mountain side. To those who dwell within the mountain it was normal, but to those outside considered it foul and strange. The large figure walked over to the short strange namekian and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Do you really think spreading our essence around the planet will draw my son in Tripom?"
"My Lord, I am positive that Cargo will come. The urge to seek us out was sown long ago as the prophecy stated. He will return home and he will join us."
"Tripom is right father. Cargo will come to us as I have personally made sure of that. I told the one named Dahu where I was headed and he asked no questions he simply accepted this and returned home. Since I know Cargo will ask of me he will no doubt seek me out. All is going according to plan father."
"Good Kain, but there is no telling if he will truly join us. The prophecy tells us that he will join us, but it also warns us that time is our enemy. Cargo has been gone for so long and has been around those weaklings that he may have indeed shred all ambitions that have been locked away inside his heart. I can't take any chances that he not join us."
The large figure begins to yell at Tripom as he walks back to his throne.
"Tripom! Increase your efforts and flood Cargo with memories of his creation! It's time my son knew where he came from and why the village shunned him for so long! The hatred will rise within him and he will see that our way has always been the right way!"
"As you wish my master."

Tripom begins to chant once more attempting to force Cargo to see the memories of his father. It would not be a difficult task either as Tripom was very skilled in the magic arts. Cargo was flying through the sky heading closer to North Village on his way to the mountains that were nearby when he caught a scathing headache.
"AHHHHHHH! WHAT IS HAPPENING!?! AHHHHHHHH! WHAAAAAAAAAA! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!"
Cargo goes unconscious because of the pain inflicted by the memories that were being forced inside his mind. Sleep, Sleep is where he would finally see his origins and why he had to fight so hard for recognition.
Cargo appeared in a dark cave it seems with a slew of people surrounding some huge figure. They all seemed to respect him, but also fear him. His power was evident by the reactions of the people to his every whim. Suddenly the large figure seemed to be chocking as if something was caught in his throat. That is when Cargo realized he was releasing an egg and giving birth to a namekian. It was truly an amazing process to watch the egg hatch and to see the little one inside. Cargo could see the little one perfectly and became shocked at what he saw. The little namekian have spikes traveling down his skull and this could not be normal as no namekians were born with such things.
"Here he is, my son and future ruler of the demon clan. Kain, you have a brother now my boy. All that's left to do is to give him a name and show him the ways of our clan."
"Master if I can intrude if only for a moment. The prophecy states that the second born cannot be brought up with us, but by outsiders. Meaning in order for him to take his rightful place among us he has to be raised by the other clans. It's the only way we can ensure he grow according to the prophecy. However there is a drawback to this my lord. The prophecy also states that if he were to be from us for too long his heart may change and he may view us as enemies."
"Well Tripom it's a risk that we have to take, but for right now we need a name for him. Kain? Have you thought of a name for your brother?"
"Yes father, I would like if we named him Cargo."
"Cargo? Hmm, it seems like a fine name for the future ruler of the demon clan. For now we need to make sure he can blend in and I'll have to take him to North Village. The elder there owes me a favor anyway."
Cargo's father placed his thumb in front of the spikes and wipes his hands across them and rips out every single spike. Baby Cargo cries out in pain as blood pours from his little head. Tripom then walks up and places his hands on baby Cargo's head as he begins to heal his wound. The baby then smiles as he grabs Tripom's finger and squeezes it as tight as he could. Cargo couldn't believe what he was seeing and the memory wasn't over yet.
The memory seemed to fast forward as the large figure was now obviously inside of the North Village with the baby in his hands. Cargo then recognized the village elder who loved his Fidna so much and ironically he had Fidna right on side of him in this meeting. The two namekians stood in silence for awhile as the large figure took a deep breath before speaking.
"You know who I am Bana as I you. I am coming to you to call in that favor for helping you all that time ago. My son Cargo, I want you to mold him into an honorable warrior. I don't want him to have a life filled with bloodshed."
"I can't believe you have come here. You want me to raise your spawn? Fine, I will do ask you ask but I will not treat him as our own."
"That is acceptable, but you will one day come to regret the treatment of my son. Farewell Bana."
The memory fades away and Cargo soon awakes from his forced slumber. Cargo was soaked with sweat through the shocking revelation. He had seen his birth and it was now fact that he was born into the demon clan. He was shunned and discarded as nothing all because of who his father was. His hatred began to grow not only for Bana the village elder, but also for his father. His father had abandoned him all because of some prophecy and Cargo was now in a weird place. He was angry that he couldn't have had a life with his brother and father, but he was thankful that he was able to grow and learn the ways of namek. As he laid on the soft blue grass he noticed that the green sky seemed to be changing. A dark purple like aura had begun to spread throughout namek and there wasn't an answer as to why.

:MEANWHILE:
"Master, we have our energy covering the Namekian skies. No one will be able to enter this planet while we destroy everything in our path. No one from the outside can come to their aid my lord. We are ready to strike on your command."
"HAHAHAHA! MY PEOPLE! IT'S TIME! THE WARRIOR CLAN HAVE GROWN LAZY AND DOCILE WHILE WE HAVE GROWN STRONGER WITH EVERY PASSING DAY! TODAY IS THE DAY WE EXACT OUR REVENGE! TODAY IS THE DAY WE ONCE AGAIN WAGE THE GREAT WAR! TODAY IS THE DAY WE DESTROY THOSE WEAKLING! WE ARE THE DEMON CLAN AND THERE ISN'T ANYONE WHO CAN STOP US! THE PROPHECY HAS STATED OUR VICTORY AND MY SON CARGO WILL BE THE DRIVING FORCE IN OUR RISE TO POWER!"
The leader had begun preparation for the clan to go on an all out assault on the other clans of namek. Some grabbed weapons while other's seemed to continue their training. The days of Namek were quite long and they had plenty of time before they would truly strike. Now with their essence no doubt gathering the attention of all namekians on the planet they could show their immense power by making the planet have it's first night ever. Tripom had made his way into an oval shaped room with a gigantic hole in it's ceiling. He was followed by Cargo's father and Kain also. Their was a glimmering dark orb in the center of this room that the three approached.
"Father, are you sure this will work?"
"Tripom is one of the most powerful in the magic arts and with us assisting I have no doubt that this will work. Tripom? Are you ready to begin."
"I am always ready master, and this day will be the greatest day in our history. We will bring night upon namek and use the darkness that we have grown so use to to our advantage. Now please place your hands on the orb?"
The three placed their hands on the orb as Tripom begins to chant some sort of spell. The power that the three held begins to pour into the orb as it begins to shine the color of the sun. The clouds would gather over the oval room and soon darkness would begin to befall planet namek. The suns seem to fade more and more as the orb grew brighter and brighter. Eventually the sun no longer shined bright enough to illuminate the planet and a deep blood red hue would soon engulf all three suns. They had created three blood suns that they would use to their advantage. The other clans couldn't begin to fathom the use that the three red suns would have for the demon clan. They would all soon be forced to find out as the demon clan's preparation for an all out assault continued.

It wouldn't be long before swarms of namekians would begin to flood from the mountains with their power surging forward. The foulness in the air grew ever stronger as the demon clan prepared for attack. Cargo couldn't sit back and watch as his people are slaughtered, but then again the demon clan is also his people. What could he do? Who would help? Is this the end of all peace on Namek? Cargo had a decision to make and he needed to make it fast? For now he would have to wait and attempt to warn all he could of the possible threat that is present.
Cargo looks to the skies to see that it has grown quite dark, but also a red hue covered the planet in the place of the usual sun's glow. He hadn't a clue what was going on, but he knew that it wasn't good. He had no choice, but to return to the village that forsake him in the first place. Even though he didn't want to he simply had no choice as they would no doubt be the first casualty of what's sure to come.
