Name: Nitra
Species: Arcosian/Changeling
Gender: Male
Age: 74
Appearance:
(Sketch credits go to Hyoza)
Nitra stands at about 4'5” in his first form, his skin colour a pale blue and his gems an even paler shade. The gem on his head is rather narrow and joins in a sharper curve, with a single horn jutting out from either side. Skin colourations on his face (leading from his eyes and finishing just before his chin) are a much darker shade of blue than his overall skin tone. The bony exterior of his body is the typical faded white, as is the case with the rest of his species.
In his Final/True Form, Nitra stands at just over 5'. His bony exterior develops a protective “collar” around his neck, and his shoulder “spaulders” shrink in size and become more sharpened at their points. His tail develops an armoured tip, and his chin develops a chisel. The gem on his forehead is now larger in comparison to his first form, and the gems across his body are smaller than they were. A major change in skin colour is one of the most obvious differences in this form, as a majority of his body is white, with the exception of his hands, face and feet. The blue skin tone is a darker shade, whereas the markings on his face are a lighter, paler shade. Almost like a reverse order of the skin colour scheme from his first form.

History:
Nitra was born and raised on his father's ship; his father, General Kryo, was a much-respected man within the Arcosian military. His Power Level was feared by his enemies, and his soldiers served him with loyalty. His life was bound to his duties, crew and his ship. They patrolled the borders of the Arcosian Empire and ensured that their control over many of their planets was not at threat. Due to General Kryo's life being entirely devoted to his duties, he practically lived on the ship – as did his son.

Being the son of the highly-respected General Kryo, Nitra was constantly under the pressure of being as great as his father. He was expected to be nothing but strong, so his training began from a very young age. General Kryo personally trained his son throughout the many years they spent on patrol, drilling into him various fighting techniques, the use of Ki and the ruthlessness of their Arcosian species. This constant cycle of fighting and training eventually led to Nitra developing an apathy towards battling – he began seeing it as a chore and, as he likes to put it more often than not, “bothersome”.
As soon as he became of an appropriate age, General Kryo began taking his son out with him on missions (rather than having him stay back at the ship), allowing Nitra to experience battle first-hand. He was always reluctant to go, but was forced to by his father on every occasion. General Kryo was constantly throwing him into various fights in order to improve his son's skills, and took pride in Nitra's successes where his son did not.
Where his father had high hopes of his son surpassing his own strength and taking his position within the empire someday, Nitra himself desired to leave the ship and find something other than the use of brute force to devote his time to. News Feeds were always available within his “home” and he soon found himself intrigued within the politics of his Arcose homeworld. Due to his father's authority within the military, Nitra was aware that opportunities elsewhere were easy to acquire due to the “prestigious” blood that ran through his veins. He soon appreciated the shadow of his father's reputation that once haunted him, realising the influence it could have back on his homeworld.
Nitra applied to attend the peace talks his people were to have on Earth, in an attempt to understand other subjects rather than those that were heavily military-related. Upon informing his father of this decision, General Kryo flew into a rage. He accused Nitra of “family betrayal” and they locked fists, only this time it was more than just another sparring session. General Kryo was still incredibly strong, but was stunned by Nitra's development over the years and the strength he had achieved. Nitra, who was by no means as strong as his father, had taken advantage of this moment of weakness and landed a blow to his gut – taking the General by surprise. It was at this moment that Nitra realised the strength that intelligence and perception could have over brute strength, and reiterated how he was leaving to attend the peace talks. Soon after, he returned to the planet Arcose.
He attended the peace talks he desired to witness and learn from, but instead was roped into acting as a body guard to one of the less-involved politicians. He barely sat in on any talks and was posted outside buildings as a form of security. It was at this moment where his appreciation for his father's blood became resentment. No matter where he would go, he could never escape the title and position of his father. He would always be tied to the military and would never be able to fulfil a role that didn't involve brute force in one way or another. It was at this moment he decided to stop fighting it, and accept his role in life with some dignity. For now, his life would be “bothersome”... Until anything else arose, that is.
