Name:Leukocyte
Alias: Lucas Smith, Luke, Bugface McGee
Species: Bio-Android
Gender: Male
Age: 5 (Physically mature)
Appearance:
Leukocyte, or Luke, takes a humanoid form with an insectile bent. He is covered in pearlescent white exoskeletal armor, with what appear to be diminutive gold horns on his brow. If one were to guess, his current form might be reminiscent of a stag beetle. His back even has a beetle like cover, where his tail can stow away for convenience. His face features blue eyes with a bony plate where a mouth might typically be.
Personality:
Luke has lived a somewhat sheltered life. While heâs gleefully consumed any media heâs been able to get his hands on, its not the same as actually living in that world. A great many social cues and standards are simply lost on him. Plus, with a five year growth cycle, heâs likely skipped over a good deal.
That out of the way, he means well, ultimately. Itâs not something he makes speeches about, its not a burden. He just wants to help people, as simple and uncomplicated as that. And his fascination with the outside world hasnât made him an idiot. Heâs looked at art, at stories, at news. He can, occasionally, make clever observations and responses. Heâs a big buggy dopey hero to be!
History:
Ever since a low-class Saiyan pod landed on Earth, its been plagued by impending disasters. Each time, the stakes become higher and higher. Each time, the conflict leaves more and more lives in its wake. Even official peace between the major powers does nothing to bind the radical and the renegade. Some far minded individuals will naturally arise to address these problems. Doctor Arthur Eisenstern is one such individual.
Arthur was born in a town that had, in times past, been utterly obliterated in past conflict. The new settlement, built into the ancient crater of a powerful ki attack, was named Craters Landing. While many took it as a sign of human resilience, Arthur stepped back and realized everything he knew could be vaporized again with little effort. It drove him to excel in his studies.
Arthur believed in the importance of preparation, of the necessity for a strong defense for the planet. Threats could arrive at any time, from any where, including Earth itself. Arthur also believed it was foolish to simply recruit powerful, benevolent warriors. Poor luck could mean the death of the planet. So he decided to create one, ensuring they always would have an ideal warrior.
Arthur began working on a biological chimaera, selecting beneficial traits and dispositions from sources too numerous to address. The chief donator of genetic material being the Earth Xenobiology Society, an academic institution dedicated to understanding alien medical science. Gene sequencing had shot off since ages past, and enough tissue and culture samples were freely available. Arthur was, after all, already a senior member. Experimental materials were freely available, given they would publish their findings. Which he would, once the project was fully mature.
Eventually, the project took shape. Drawing from other like minded biologists and ancient experimental records, Arthur created an insect-humanoid hybrid capable of growing into more mature stages of development. What haunted the project was its ghosts. A Bio-Android of this type wasnât unique in the world. However, too many abused this power to create life and instead brought threats which the Banner was seeking to thwart. The Chimera Project, and countless nameless abominations. It marked his project - The classic stinger tail, the limb by which it could consume any life form. It was, simply, a necessary evil.
While he left in the drive for self improvement that defined Saiyans and humans, he learned enough from past mistakes and programmed in a directive to protect life. All life, regardless of origin or belief. Instead of treating the creature, now âLukeâ, as an experiment, Arthur raised him to the best of his ability. Gave him values, ties to the planet he was meant to protect. At this point, Arthur joined the Blue Banner Army. His own funding had begun to dip dangerously, and they were ideologically compatible. His considerable intellect alone was an asset, but a ki-powered warrior was just gravy. A perfect addition to the growing KAOS project.
Understandably, Luke wasnât allowed to roam free immediately. But he was showered with windows in which to see the outside world. Books, television, video, news. When Luke wasnât undergoing a strict training and conditioning regime (Courtesy Blue Banner facilities reserved for the KAOS squad), heâd be delving deep into music and literature.
Eventually, he reached full physical first-stage maturity. He could not grow any further in a cradle. It was time for him to enter the world.
Starting Planet:
Earth.
Unique Characteristics:
Absorption: Lukes main strength is derived from his hybrid DNA. Using the stinger in his tail, he can absorb genetic information and bio-matter
Zenkai (Hybrid Saiyan): That which does not kill me makes me stronger. Recovering from significant injury yields a significant increase in power level.
Regeneration (Hybrid Namekian): Regrowing lost tissue rapidly, even in the heat of combat.
Durability (Hybrid Arcosian): A decentralized nervous system and redundant organ system pushes his power beyond what is normally possible. Adds +x1 multiplying factor.
Techniques:
Offensive
Bio-Strike: Charging a melee attack with ki energy. This attack lacks any range beyond touch, but it combines the force of a physical attack and the power of an energy attack.
Support
Ki Sense: Ki is more than simply a means to an end. It is an extension of a persons spirit. Sensing it allows one to locate and gauge persons.
Flight: Wrapping the body in energy and effecting that layer can send the user flying without the need for technological assistance or wings.
