What was a purpose? Was it something someone else gave you, or was it something you made for yourself? It was that question that idly occupied Reikiko's thoughts as she walked along the path that led from the cottage in the bamboo forest. It had been almost a week now since the peculiar hermit had left her, a week she had spend trying to hone her skills through meditation and hunting wild animals. However, it was on this particular day that the bio-android had decided to do something a bit different. Today she was going to explore more of the forest, in the end she had to figure out more about her territory, lest she'd get herself lost the moment she left a familiar path. Fortunately she had the means of covering a large area within a short period. Most people would have needed to walk, dealing with obstacles along the way. However, she herself possessed the ability of flight, one that seemed fairly popular among more talented martial arts practitioners. First she had chosen to travel along the same path she usually explored, one that led from the cottage to the cave she had met the hermit, and finally when she reached her destination she decided to take to the sky.
"Let's see if we'll find anything of interest today."
Humming idly Reikiko's wings buzzed lightly, causing her to quickly ascend into the air before shifting her weight a little to allow her body to glide forwards through the air. The scenery seemed the same as the path she had traversed before. Tons of trees, the occasional river and depending on the part of the forest she would either find some stray human adventurer or a wild animal. Honestly, it was starting to grow a little bit boring and tiresome, but then again she had no reason for staying here, aside from the fact that there was still a basket of apples left to devour. She had actually taken one along, a single apple held in her hands, a meal for on the road. If only she could find someone or something interesting, something to draw her attention, if even for just a little while. Earth had after all become a hotspot for different races, and her own existence was just as much different as that of an alien. In fact she might had even been a bit more different than them. Her presence contained traces of an Arcosian, the powerful changelings that were said to be destined to rule the galaxy one day. Then there were traces of a Namekian's genes within her, the race known for their peaceful nature, but mystical powers and finally the humans, the original inhabitants of this planet. She was pretty much a hotpot of various races in one, a part of the master plan her father had prepared for his ambitions.
"Unfortunately for him the old fool is no longer alive."
Humming those words Reikiko found herself floating above a part of the forest she had not seen before. A decent elevation in the ground had led to what appeared to be a small lake, a path along the cliff leading up toward it. While she wanted to say it was something natural, the way the lake seemed more like a pool, and the trees that were rather pleasantly surrounding the lake itself made her believe it had been altered by something or someone. Perhaps someone had stayed here once? Or maybe it had been changed after an epic battle.
"Still, I doubt I'm going to find something interesting here."
But perhaps unknowingly to her, there was something or someone approaching that she had never met before. Someone who could be roughly classified as interesting, and might possibly draw her interest.

(Heavy Weights on) Rain sat in the middle of the field and was suffering greatly at the moment. You see a warrior hones out any weakness or fear within their hearts. And without doing so then the warrior and his weapon would only become weaker. Rain's current major weakness was his tail but their was nothing he could do about it right? Well he was wrong as he'd previously witnessed a Saiyan hone his tail right in front of him. Sure the guy had been slightly stronger than Rain currently was at the time but Rain woke up feeling like he could do it. Currently he was utilized his Ki to stretch out his tail as far as he could until in incurred his weakness. He sagged forward in obvious effort for a second as he temporarily grew too weak to support his weights.
As he awaited his strength to return; he stood up before somewhat shuffling his way over to the tree. As his strength fully returned he could then walk normally as he pulled himself up on a branch testing it's strength. When it seemed that the branch could support his weight; Rain wrapped his tail around it and slowly allowed himself to hang. He was suddenly glad he decided to do this slowly as it was currently all he could manage but at least this was easier than when he almost detailed himself earlier. His effort was rewarded with it becoming slightly easier after about 15 minutes but it was still no walk in the park in fact; Rain still was not sure whether he'd survive honing his tail but then again Rain never thought many things were possible.
He remembered back to when he couldn't even fly and now it was almost second nature to him even with his heavy weights on. With a little more inspiration in his belly; he eventually grew ambitious enough to attempt curl ups with purely his tail. It took ages but finally he managed to curl up once but that was surely weakness plaguing him right. Rain considered taking off his weights but figured that if anything it would pay off in the long run as has keeping them on even when not training. The trade off for that being that he often needed a shower much quicker than usual as he worked more now with each step than he could ever do alone.
Interestingly enough, it seemed that now he could finally began to feel an end to the pain only for it to be replaced by a more normal sensation of feeling. In short, Rain no longer feeling the pain of hanging from his tail has awaken sensation in tail so he can feel it wrapped around the branch instead of blinding pain. But his path was not finished yet as he would need to finish his curl ups which still took a lot of effort from his tail being untrained to weight but he felt no pain or weakness anymore. Rain allowed himself to land on the ground from the branch before leaping up high in exhilaration. However, his excitement was briefly cut short as he sensed an approaching sizable power level. Rain straightened his clothes before approaching as well not wanting to be caught off guard in case the man or woman was not good.

It didn't take much effort for Reikiko to notice the Saiyan. Not only did she feel the subtle curiosity stir within her at the sight of the man's exercise, but from the spot she had been at the bio-android was actually able to see him from afar with ease. The sight of the Saiyan wrapping his tail around the tree, using some curious form of exercise to lift himself up by using only the tail was something that amused the bio-android. It was a weird thing to see, and in all honesty reminded her more or less of an animal she had once seen in the bamboo forest. It appeared her presence was noticed, something she expected since she didn't bother to conceal her ki. However, when the man approached her she wasn't entirely certain about what to do. She was a little bit curious about his exercise, but when she was about to raise her voice and shout 'Hey monkey boy, were you doing some peculiar monkey business' she recalled one recent memory. She had once met a Saiyan before, a powerful and ill-mannered woman who had nearly punched off her head when she called her a monkey. It seemed that Saiyan really didn't like being called a monkey.
"Ugg, I should have left before he noticed me... The last Saiyan I met wasn't exactly a pleasant encounter."
No, it had been far from that. Not only did that vicious ape woman toss her into the sky, but she also made a freaking ki blast detonate right in her face. It had been a terrible experience to say the least, and her body had taken several hours to regenerate the burns and internal damage she ahd suffered at that time.
"That's an odd game you were playing, is it something Saiyans do often?"
Reikiko's voice was soft, filled with the natural curiosity of a child. That was usually the way Reikiko worked. Initially she was more receptive of strangers, willing to tolerate their presence until she confirmed if they were worth her attention. However, if they didn't then it was usually a time for them to run or die. The bio-android swayed her tail lightly, looking at a nearby tree while wondering if she should have tried to do the same. Honestly she doubted she should have bothered... Her tail was as strong as her arms, perhaps even stronger and even if someone cut it off she could merely use her Namekian genes to regenerate it.
"However, judging from the effort you were making it sounded like a bit of an odd game and more like this thing people call training."
The bio-android slowly approached him, seemingly attempting to circle around him for a cursory gaze before she stopped right before him.
"My name is Reikiko, currently an inhabitant of this forest."
Of course she felt no need to go further into details. This man didn't need to know she was a bio-android just yet, albeit she likely wouldn't hesitate to tell him if needed. Nor did she feel any need to tell him about the old hermit she was waiting on

The first thing Rain couldn’t help but notice was the fact that this woman while clearly of the female species was incredibly short and not human. Which of two facts he realized first was unknown but he’d bargain at the same time. Still this woman held a sizable power level that could be used for good or evil. He’d reckoned either the woman was smart enough to learn a target first or truly wasn’t fully evil yet if best case scenario. Still he couldn’t help but note to keep his mental guard up around her as he could literally feel many different people within her.
Most people were ignorant of Bio-android and up to about three days ago so was Rain. However, he not only met but Rain fought Android 73 mainly to test out his weights as his released form was too strong for the android. There was a light breeze traveling through the Bamboo forest causing them to sway blowing a fresh scent of cherry blossom in the air. Truly it was a wonderful day to be out in nature; he suspected his love for nature came from his time training under Empress. Still it wouldn’t make any sense for him not too when you truly stopped to notice the beauty around you.
Through his limited empathy he could somewhat read an initial apprehension but it didn’t bother Rain in the slightest. He knew somehow she knew he was Saiyan; there was no way she could have seen his tail . . . unless there was a way. Still not one that Rain could think of based off of his own capabilities. That was around the time she asked if that was simply a game that Saiyans play all the time. Even if it was; Rain wouldn’t have known but that didn’t stop him from saying. “Yes, it totally loosens us out. I don’t know why but after the initial pain its nirvana.” Clearly there was no reason to give away free information about his species to a stranger.
There was a higher intelligence behind that almost child like frame. Rain did not doubt that for a moment which only made him somewhat more guarded. It wasn’t noticeable unless Rei realized that he was not exactly answering her questions. Still when she introduced herself Rain figured that there was no reason that he couldn’t give his name as it wasn’t like his information was in any Earth system. “I’m Rain, I kinda live here too until I get bored and fly somewhere else I guess. Are you from here or were you created off world.” He didn’t know that she had tried to conceal what she was but he didn’t have any problems making it known that he in fact knew.
Knowledge was power just as much as the Ki running through Rain. If you kept both honed to a sharp fashion then there was no reason you couldn’t ascend to greatness. He’s seen it himself through his enhanced training with Wyntre and Zucceta. Both were tough teachers in their own right but in different ways. With Zucceta she pushed him to be more primal and aggressive to bask in the greatness of being a Saiyan and the blood lust that comes with it. While with Wyntre; she simply forever pushes Rain’s limits. Whenever it seems like Rain will break; when he pushes through she sits with look like she been knew the outcome and was bored that it took so long. Rain figured he should probably stop thinking and pay attention to the android that was right before him.

The little bio-android tilted her head to the side in a display of confusion at his statement. It seemed the man had described his training session as a game, and commented about how the initial moments of the exercise caused some pain, the sensation that followed afterwards was as if he had been brought to nirvana. Could it have been that he enjoyed such a sensation? If she recalled right there was a certain name for such people. As if coming to a certain realization the little bio-android clapped her hands together with a hint of excitement before clapping her hands together.
"Ah! You're what they call a masochist?"
When the Saiyan introduced himself as Rain, the girl couldn't help but briefly look upwards into the sky. It wasn't cloudy at all, so there was little chance of a sudden downpour! Then again, perhaps the Saiyan's parents had a weird sense of naming? Or maybe they just hated their child and gave them that name to express their love for him, well of course with all potential sarcasm included.
"I see, you wouldn't happen to have a sister called sunshine?"
Oh, she was being so puny today, wasn't she? However, it seemed that the Saiyan's curiosity had started to emerge when he suddenly asked her about her origins. Perhaps it wasn't that much of a surprise, in the end she had not bothered to conceal her ki what meant it was fairly easy for anyone to discover her presence. That highly unusual blend of a Namekian, Arcosian and Human's genes was likely enough to hint at her peculiar existence. Then again, she doubted a Saiyan would have been part of Chimera's crime syndicate, so in the end she shrugged her shoulders likely.
"I was made on this planet. Twenty-one years ago to be specific."
The bio-android's gaze slowly shifted away from Rain, her gaze drifting back toward her surroundings. Honestly, she had started to grow a little bit fond of this forest. Unlike a city there were a lot less idiots for her to deal with, and the ones that she did find in the forest were usually rather tolerable. At least aside from that certain ape woman. She was so hell-bend on finding and exploiting that woman's weakness, so that someday she would be able to get her revenge. Of course for now she had to remain in a more pacifist-like state and hone her skills. It wouldn't have been much use for her to already go out and fight again, well unless of course she wanted to get a royal trashing!
"Maybe we should exercise together?"
Allowing her tail to swish forwards, her small hands grasping a hold of the end of the tail where the stinger was attached, the girl continued with a hint of confidence in her tone.
"That tail hanging game of yours looked rather fun, but I been wondering if you're as strong as that other ap--- I mean Saiyan I met. You see, I really like strong people."
Especially as breakfast, lunch or dinner.

It seemed this one was quite fond of jokes but alas most of them would go right over Rain’s head so he wasn’t inclined to feel either way about them. Well, besides the irritation of being the butt of multiple jokes that you couldn’t hope to understand without looking further like a fool. Still he couldn’t help but wonder what a masochist was and why was she suddenly so inquisitive anyways. Rain had been caught off guard but he would have to learn to keep his cool. Briefly stroking his hair for a second; Rain began to calm down before asking the android “Now what exactly is a masochist? I assure you anything I do is for power.”
The relatively small bio-android had already managed to somewhat ruffle him up a bit but he was rapidly adjusting. Part of him opted to leave the bio-android to her own devices somewhat regretting approaching her at all. However, another deeper part of him almost like a voice but yet unheard told him that every experience was valuable. This caused Rain to think back to Nai-Ran’s question of whether he had someone else inside of him. It was almost as if the stronger he became; the more the voice began to speak to him and shape his destiny. It first spoke to him when he mastered his first major challenge of flight but Rain had been too exhilarated to really pay it too much attention.
The voice of the android would shake Rain out of his brief reverie. He’d look visibly shocked for a moment before gathering his bearings and returning his attention to her. “I vaguely remember a sister but I doubt she was named sunshine though I was named after my mother.” Rain actually didn’t know if that was true or not but somehow it felt right considering he lacked a proper Saiyan name. Rain fought for everything even the right to live but he knew it would be a long time till he did not have to fight anymore.
Her nonchalant way of answering his declaration of her origins told him that she was way smarter than she appeared. He made a mental note to keep his wits about himself when dealing with the bio-android. Still he couldn’t help but wonder if she was naturally smart or simply grown with a certain amount of information. The only way he’d truly understand her anyways was through battle but he doubted that would happen. Their was no way that literally every person he’s met besides Nai-Ran would actually want to fight him is there? And then almost on cue with his thought did she ask him to exercise which seemed like a weird way to ask for a fight. Luckily, for him she was about even with his weighted form so he should be fine with keeping them on for the moment.
“If we must fight then so be it.” He had some reluctance fighting her as to him it served no type of purpose. She said she liked strong people but he also knew the function of a bio-android so he’d never truly show her his strength unless he intended to kill her. He hated senseless violence but he knew neither of his teachers would tolerate a challenger. So he accepted the challenge and began to square off; readying himself for battle by channeling his ki to the surface forming his ki shield.
“I’m ready when you are.”

Noticing the visible surge of energy that started to form around Rain's body, slowly molding itself into a shield made of pure ki, the bio-android couldn't help but feel a small shiver of excitement coursing through her body. She had always been incredibly fond of battles, in the end one improved their abilities through battle and training. Nevertheless, it seemed that the Saiyan was ready to fight, causing Reikiko to make a small playful bow in his direction, like a martial arts greeting before a match before she shifted into a combative stance. Her body was small and lithe, meaning she had to depend on speed to get the better of him. Then again, with her weights on she was a lot slower than normally, so perhaps it would serve as a good method to warm up? It was the moment the Saiyan's ki shield had formed that the figurative whistle of their match had been made, a sudden rush of ki coursing through Reikiko's legs when the girl rushed head-on toward her opponent.
"Let's see how fast you are~"
Her first attack would have been fairly simple, the test to see how durable the man's defenses were. Every shield had a point where they would break, especially if one constantly targeted the same location. A simple dent could turn into a crack, and that same crack could tear apart the shield should it be given enough pressure. The bio-android's assault seemed to focus on the creation of that crack. The first attack came in the form of an upwards knee blow, an attempt to force the Saiyan onto the defensive before she continued with a pair of rapid punches, each blow aimed right at the same spot of the man's shield. It seemed like a simple opening to attack with, but that thought would likely fade away the moment the bio-android slide her body downwards, a sideways sweep with her leg being made before making a sudden jump with her body, intending to use her legs to kick the man's shield and use it as leverage for her to flip backwards and enlarge the distance once more.
A series of rapid blows, weak on their own but for each that might hit Rain would have noticed that their combined pressure was akin to a heavy blow. This was her combat style when trying to decipher the average strength of her opponent. In the end she couldn't sense ki yet, so she had to discover it physically. Nevertheless, her pattern had one fatal flaw. The moment she flipped backwards and landed was a moment she required to go onto the defensive, meaning she was open for an attack at that instant. In the end that was the price to pay for her series of rapid attack. Would Rain be able to see that weakness? That point where she landed and was incapable of resuming her attack for a moment? Only time would tell, but she was certain this would become an interesting battle!
(For calculating side, let's say Rei has her weights on, leaving her at 5.7k PL for her current motions since I don't really know what pl she had before the fight ^^)

The woman’s fighting style relied on the fact that she assumed Rain fought battles head on. Rain is small for a male and as such has had to rely of speed as well however women of a smaller frame always have an easier time in attacking. As such Rain’s style differs in that while she attempts to overwhelm one’s defenses; he sought to tire out one’s offenses before making a move. As soon as she launched forward; he’d immediately back pedal realizing his senses were wrong and she was stronger than him. Not much thanks to the weights she wore but enough for Rain to take her much more serious. He continued to back pedal as she began her attack with him utilizing his balance to lean further back or to dip in a different direction to soften her blows.
Because of their strength difference however; it wasn’t nearly as effective if he’d been on even terms with her. But any difference in a battle was a major one in Rain’s opinion as he continued to charge his ki shield. When she came with her knee for the first attack; Rain would press his hands out first to meet the blow before his body would. That and with his back-pedaling lifted him into the air. And he could see punches following as the seconds ticked pass from his somewhat block. Instead of bracing or blocking them he’d instead throw punches of his own with abandon.
He would damn himself if he did not go in the offensive periodically through the fight. He hoped his decision to stand and go blow for blow with the android would surprise him enough to cause him to hesitate in his own attack. It was then that he noticed that she had like others in the past attempted to hammer a weakness into his shield except his ki shield did not work akin to a normal shield. His was the same strength all the way around; the draw back being that once it was even slightly cracked the whole thing would crumble. However, he pretended to be worried about the spot by deliberately dipping low on one of the last round of punches to ensure she hit another spot.
As soon as she attempted to kick him into a backward flip off of him; he initially wanted to grab her leg and slam her to the ground but he waited like the snake his fighting style emulated. Rapidly summoning ki to his finger tips did he release an uncharged Ki bullet attack at the airborne woman? Three pulsating and condensed bullet shaped orbs rose and spun around his finger tips for a second before rocketing off towards her.
“You’re not the only one who relies on speed and strategy you know? And frankly, you’re starting to bore me a little mate.” Rain said purposefully attempting to anger the android into making mistakes. He briefly wondered if the android had been programmed with level-headness or not. But he came to the conclusion that most androids were completely nuts in some way.

There was something odd about that shield, while she couldn't exactly describe what it was, there was clearly something different compared to a normal shield. No matter how frequent she tried to land her blows on the same spot, it seemed to do little on terms of damage for the Saiyan. Perhaps it was because he had been on the defensive, but the fact that her initial attack was dealt with so cleverly had annoyed the bio-android just a little. The exchange of blows that followed was fortunately more exciting, feeling some of the man's punches land on her body while several others were deflected by her own fists. She was rather quick to acknowledge that the man relied on speed and strategy, just as much as she did. While Reikiko was airborne, the girl noticed the flaring up ki that pulsated from the man's fingertips, and noticing the sudden trio of ki bullets Reikiko decided to raise her own hand in return. A sudden surge of crimson colored energy coursed through her body, allowing a small sphere-shaped projectile to emerge before her outstretched fingertips and with a whisper under her breath the girl turned said sphere into a beam of ki, allowing it to pierce through one of the bullets and head straight toward the man.
Nevertheless, the two remaining bullets had still needed to be dealt with, and while she was swift enough to change the trajectory of her flip mid-way, one of the bullets still landed itself on her shoulder, the naturally strong hide of the girl's body preventing any serious damage, at least if not for the fact that the ki bullet was uncharged and did little more than sting a little bit.
"Is that so? I guess I should make things a bit more difficult for you then."
Since the man was one who used strategy, then perhaps it would end up being a battle of wits? She did have a solid idea about how to use her new techniques in her favor. With a rapid head-on dash Reikiko looked like she was about to strike the man from the front once more, but soon it would have been revealed to had been a deception. A swift surge of ki would have been noticeable behind Rain, the Reikiko who had been charging up at him having made a rapid sideways dash to circle around the man, leaving only an afterimage of her in her wake. Shadow Dance was after all a perfect technique to use as a distraction.
If Rain had decided to look behind him, he would have noticed the little bio-android to have raised her hand, aiming toward his back with each fingertip surrounded by a spark of crimson energy before a sphere of ki manifested at the top of each fingertip. Still, recalling how those earlier bullets lacked finishing power she decided to merely charge in enough ki to allow the beams to scorch the bit of cloth that they hit, and perhaps just the skin beneath if they did land a blow.
"This is surprisingly difficult. Crimson Barrage is meant to kill a person, and I have never met someone who survived it at point blank, especially since it causes them to have as many holes as a block of cheese. Nevertheless, the next attack won't have that kitty-paw treatment. So feel free to charge up those bullets of yours!"
In the end right now at most her shoulder ached a little from the ki bullet she had been hit with, while at the same time, if her ki beams had landed the man would find some of his attire scorched, and their skin a bit more sensitive from the heat.
"Then again, if you'd prefer for me to go all out... then I'd gladly do you that favor."

Gah! Not only had she managed to completely cancel out one of his ki bullets but she delivered an attack of her own. Rain had no choice but to attempt to duck below it sliding forward but still caught a fierce scorch along his torso and lesser to his face. He bit down on his tongue forcing himself not to cry out in pain after all it was unbecoming. Besides he didn’t have enough time to feel sorry for himself as the android charged in for another go at him. He grounded himself awaiting volley; in truth he’d already planned to back pedal once more and so he did as she appeared before him.
Unfortunately, that pressed his back warm against her attack and he had no way of defending himself. As the blast emitted against his back; his shield took as much as it’s could before shattering unleashing a torrent of fresh pain along Rain’s back. He briefly utilized his flight to launch himself and dust from the floor into the air along with the amount of build up produced by Rei’s attack. Time from being a slave fighter trained Rain’s reflexes even in pain so as the dust built up obscuring the view of him he channeled energy. Fighting through his tired and sore muscles and burns littering his body as he twisted his body in the air once more summoning his ki bullets charging them as best as he could.
He rocketed forward toward Rei in their relatively short distance apart intending to launch his bullets point blank into her injured shoulder. He could feel that his power simply may not be up to it at this point but he would make sure to go out with a bang. Still, his pride also would not allow him to simply accept defeat either wanting this battle to continue. Such thoughts pulsating through the young man’s mind as he pushed forward towards Rei with everything he had.
If she managed to completely evade his head on attack; he planned to immediately tuck into a roll and reassess the situation before launching a barrage of ki attacks. He knew he needed to shift this battle more into his court instead of the latter. She said she liked strength and he intended to show her every ounce of it he could. Thinking back to his training with the monks before learning flight; they taught him how to move with the wind. In his earlier arrogance; he thought himself stronger than Rei and his form was sloppy. He would shift his feet in proper form as she mentioned stepping it up but in all honesty; Rain had taken too much damage in his weighted form for it too make much difference.
Still if she wanted to step it up that didn’t mean he had too. It would simply be a more painful for Rain in the end and it would take more than a simple sleep. He actually felt alive for this moment as any moment things could end and it actually inspired him.
“I’d prefer to keep my weights on but you can do what you’d like.”

It seemed the Saiyan was still willing to fight, something that actually seemed to be a trademark of them. She did recall hearing that Saiyan were born for battle, so perhaps that explained his pride and unwillingness to surrender. Nevertheless, it appeared that her attack had done some serious damage on Rain, who cleverly used the dust of their confrontation to conceal his flight. Of course this made Reikiko unaware of his movement, and while waiting for the dust to clear... she realized her fatal flaw: She had been overconfident. The rapid approach of the Saiyan made it impossible for her to safely dodge or deflect the attack that was about to approach. Attempting to step backwards to enlarge the distance between the two of them Reikiko felt the ki bullets hit her shoulder, but it seemed her attempt to defend had backfired, for some of the bullets had penetrated into the area where her shoulder connected to her arm, the bullet having been large enough to leave a deep wound on the spot.
The bio-android groaned softly, before suddenly her mouth curved into something akin to a mischievous grin. This guy's offensive power wasn't that bad either! In fact, while her Namekian genes were steadily regenerating her injured shoulder, the bio-android knew that from the numbness in her shoulder she would be able to use her left arm until the regeneration process was complete.
"I'm not talking about weights... You'll figure it out in a moment."
Slowly shifting her stance a little Reikiko's ki started to flare up intensely, the crimson energy coiling around her into a visible aura while she caused the bio-metabolism to stir within her. She had absorbed her sisters, who provided her with a steady influx of energy, so perhaps she could let this battle go out with a bang.
"Right now my strength would be around what your people call a Power Level of 17175~ So you'd best brace yourself."
There it was... She was about to carry out her ultimate combination. Fortunately she needed only one arm for the attack, but she realized that creating the attack she was planning to produce would have drained her of almost all her ki. At most she'd be able to defend herself for a little longer, but this was pretty much her ace card at this point. Dashing up at Rain the bio-android disappeared from view, reappearing behind him. However, instead of the previous attack pattern she had reappeared two more times, at each side of the man's body, looking as if she was about to attack him from all sides.
However, the truth was that she had been floating in the air a fair distance above him, at the very least several meters in the sky. Her functional hand had been stretched backwards, focusing her mind to allow it to drain most of the ki flowing in her body to manifest into her hand. A swirling vortex of energy started to appear in the outstretched hand, expanding further into a large sphere shaped projectile before she tossed the ki attack down at Rain.
While she hoped that her Shadow Dance: V2 would have distracted him enough, there might had been the hope that the man tried to defend against the sphere. That would have been a fatal mistake, for the ki-based projectile was known as Moonlight Breaker, a ki grenade that would explode the moment it reached Rain.
"He...he... At least it's gonna end with a Bang... Still, if he can deal with that then it's my loss... That attack took all of my remaining energy..."

-Weights Off- The true suffering the pain would bring began to set in as they began to touch oxygen. He found himself grimacing at the thought that he might be bested today but he knew it might be the end of him. The bio-android was showing no restraint and Rain was currently a one trick pony when it came to ki based attacks. That would definitely need to be something he put some thought into later but currently he was preoccupied by watching the bio-android go through some type of transformation. This being the first transformation Rain's ever seeing so it was cause for the notable yet brief awe on his face. Then she took to the skies gathering her ki for what had to be a major attack and her power level had already skyrocketed pass Rain's level. She was really trying to kill him it seemed as it didn't take a fool to know that her attack would kill him. Rain began to run but quickly could see he wouldn't be able to escape the blast.
"The Goddess of War doesn't run from battle! She faces it head on." The voice again speaking to Rain's soul causing him to turn towards the blast that was currently hurtling towards him. He had enough of getting his ass kicked by almost everyone on this god forsaken planet. Solemnly yet quickly shedding his weights off his body before projecting his ki out towards the blast. Their was no technique or form behind it so he was merely improvising but it's effect was all the same. Even at his max; Rain wasn't strong enough to deal with the blast alone as he didn't have the power within him.
"Fight!" Rage the ominous yet decidedly feminine voice. Rain's power began to skyrocket as his Goddess wrapped him in her embrace and power came pouring out of Rain. He could feel it would only be for a brief time but Rain intended to use it. As the blast threatened to engulf the young hybrid; Rain pushed out more strength thanks to his transformation sending his and Rei's attack back towards her. Rain couldn't help but look at him and his newfound power for a moment after releasing the last of his energy. He briefly laughed happy with himself despite not knowing what happened to Rei as it was obvious what was happening to Rain next.
His power rapidly began to fade back to it's normal levels leaving Rain in a rush. He staggered forward before accepting his fate on the ground as he passed out in the middle of the area they occupied.

For one moment it looked like her victory was at hand, the ki grenade rapidly descending toward Rain's location when something peculiar happened. Despite her inability to read a individual's ki, she could still notice that the moment the projectile reached Rain, threatening to detonate itself that the young man mustered a hidden strength from within. She was uncertain of what it was, nor the source of his empowering but the moment her ki grenade exploded, the blast threatening to consume Rain a strong surge came from down below, threatening to send a part of the blast back at her. How was such a thing even possible?! Her eyes briefly widening in surprise Reikiko tried to gather her remaining ki in a desperate attempt to propel her body away from the encroaching blast.
"I'm lacking the energy for a far-distance rush..."
She had no choice but to do that... If she removed her weights she should have been able to take the blast head-on, especially with her current transformation. Sighing deeply she grasped a hold of the top of her gi and with a strong sweep of her arm tossed it aside. There was no time left... Either she'd take the blast, or tried to escape. Nevertheless, aware that a failure to escape could lead to severe damage the bio-android decided the next best course of action: Use the explosion as a springboard. Her arms crossed before her, visibly in a pose to defend against the approaching blast, the moment had finally arrived. The combined power of the explosion that had been detonated around Rain, alongside the returned ki blast from the Saiyan himself had forced a second explosion in the air where Reikiko was. A cloud of smoke and dust had settled at the point of impact, and for a moment it might had looked like she had been caught in the blast, but a few moments later a small outline was seen rocketing away into the distant blanket of trees. However, when the smoke and dust finally settled there was not a single sign of the bio-android.
Nevertheless, the truth could always be found to those who searched hard enough, and in this case Reikiko could have been found reemerging from the woods, her body covered in bruises and burns, her gi wrapped around her body like some makeshift bandage.
"..."
And then without saying a word she disappeared into the woods, and once out of sight collapsed onto the grass, her breathing ragged from the lack of strength that was left in her body.
"Only reason I survived that counter was because I used the initial blast of my own explosion to push my body out of the range of his attack. Else I might had died... Clearly Moonlight Breaker needs some work."
And with those words she closed her eyes, feeling a small sense of annoyance at this draw between herself and the Saiyan. To think that he had been so powerful... It was beyond her expectations, and her body would certainly need more than a few days to heal entirely from the damage.
