Name: Trace Noil
Alias:
-He is often referred to, and refers himself as, “Tsurai”.
-He is classified under the title of “esper” due to his powers manifesting through his mind instead of his spirit, however the only functional difference is the affluence of learning psychic powers over general blasts.
-He hates being called a werewolf due to his wolf form being the product of science instead of nature.
Other descriptive words:
-Human: used sparingly when Trace is in his human form.
-lycan: abbreviated form of lycanthrope which is another word for werewolf. Used regardless of what form he is in.
-lupine: used when Trace is in his unleashed wolf form.
-winged (male, warrior, one, etc.): will be used to refer to his wolf form after he reaches his 140,000 transformation.

Species: “Werewolf” type Zoanthrope
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance: Due to the scientific enhancements done to him by the doctor that took him off of the streets he is capable of switching between human and wolf forms.
As a human he looks a lot like the picture below, however there are several differences to what he normally wears and looks like.
-He is usually shirtless.
-He wears the trench coat shown in his wolf form and the picture showing his overload transformation.
-His front bangs are on both sides of his face as shown in his wolf form.
-Also like his wolf form, his long hair is pulled into a ponytail, however the majority of the hair on the crown of his head sticks up as it shown in the image.
-His eyes are grey.
-His pants are the dark cargo pants shown in his final two transformations.
-He stands at an impressive six feet tall but he weighs a lightweight amount of one-hundred and twenty pounds.
When he turns into his wolf form his appearance is almost exactly like the picture shown below, however there are minute differences.
-The top of his hair is spiked up like the hair in his human form.
-Yes, his eyes have become red. That is a part of the transformation.
-His fur is actually black, but the color in the picture is close enough to black.
-His height and weight are not changed.
History:
Trace was born an orphan, his mother having died during childbirth, and his biological father never claimed him. His early childhood was therefore spent mostly on the streets where life was a constant battle for survival. Due to his young age most of the population took pity on the child, giving him scraps and hand-me-downs even though none of them wished to claim the orphan. However, this kindness resulted in harsher reactions from other homeless people and they often fought him for his measly gains. Often times he would be beaten to an inch of his life only to return to his makeshift abode empty handed, brooding over the good and evil of the world.
twenty years had passed from his birth, and Trace has grown into a scrappy young adult. He was thin, but with tough, wiry muscles that could deliver explosive power if he needed. Quite a few adults were caught off guard from his strength. Then his life significantly changed by the arrival of one mysterious white car with darkly tinted windows that stopped in the entrance to the alleyway Trace shared with several other homeless individuals. Someone stepped out of passenger side of the car facing the alleyway. He was a formally dressed person who could only be described as a bruiser, tall and imposing with a wide frame and bald head. Just his presence caused most other inhabitants of the alleyway to shrink into the shadows, but Trace refused to be cowed instead locking eyes with the stranger. The two glared at each other for a good minute before the bruiser turned to regard the car. “Is that kid the kind you are looking for?” the bodyguard barked out before pausing. Even though he could not hear the reply from within the car, the connotations of this scene sent immediate red flags up. He didn’t know what was going on, but he didn’t like how this was going. The adult nodded, apparently satisfied with the mysterious answer, before bringing his attention to Trace and striding forward. When he was close enough the bruiser stopped and asked, “hey kid, I’m only going to ask this once. How would you like to finally get off of these streets?”
The question still managed to shock Trace. He wasn’t unfamiliar to the generosity of others; however none had gone to this length. Why me? Why now? For what purpose? These questions and more assaulted Trace to the point where he could only blink in confusion to the now silent adult. The bruiser seemed content with letting Trace think it out for the time being, so the teen finally asked “there must be a reason why you need me.” The adult lifted his hand for acceptance, saying gruffly “that is a question you should ask the one I’m working for.” Strangely, the hand was covered in a thick leather glove, or perhaps it is because the hands are that massive. Trace was caught in a crossroads. On one hand, accepting the offer was walking into the unknown, but if he didn’t would he be stuck just living life as he is? For some reason the human felt like he was standing on the precipice of a cliff. Something shifted in his peripheral vision. The other people living in the alleyway were starting to overcome their intimidation and were looking at the proffered hand greedily. Realizing that if he didn’t take this opportunity someone else might the teenager leapt forward and clasped the hand. “I don’t understand what is going on but I guess it’s better than staying here living the same day I’ve been living for my life.” The bodyguard nodded professionally, stating that the teenager had made the best choice as he started to lead the youth to the car. As the pair was leaving the alleyway the guard glared daggers back at the gathering crowd of hopeful homeless people and growled “as for the rest of you, this car only has room for one person. Don’t get any ideas!” Trace followed dutifully, his hand enveloped in the strong yet strangely plush grip of the man’s gloved hand; the teen could not escape the strange sensation of falling.
The burly man held open the door to the back of the white car while waving Trace inside; the car more like a limousine now that the teenager was close enough to inspect it. He stepped inside, noticing the silhouette of someone inside, and the door was closed behind him. “I’m glad that you decided to join us, I am Doctor Dill! Please sit down, the car is about to start moving and I don’t want you to fall down.” The man quipped, indicating a row of seats opposite to him as weak lights began illuminating the dark interior enough so that Trace could identify his surroundings. It didn’t get bright enough for him to see any fine details on the interior of the car, especially the deeper shadows, but it was bright enough to see. The interior of the car is more like a stagecoach than the traditional car, two rows of leathery benches sat on opposite sides of the main cabin while the driver seats were hidden behind a solid wall; there was plenty of leg room. The car rocked, a clear sign that the large driver had entered the car’s front, and Trace sat down on the unoccupied bench. He rested his arms across the top of the back of the bench, trying to relax despite the unusual setting, as the car started rolling. “I know I volunteered to go along with this, but what exactly did I agree to do anyways?” The teen asked while eyeing the man suspiciously. Dill’s silhouette leaned forward with an almost tangible air of excitement. “We need you for an important experiment.”
Trace nearly shot off of the bench. Experiment! What was this doctor planning on doing to him!?! Predicting this outburst, Dill lifted his hands as if he were asking a crowd to settle down. “Now before you go flying off your rocket, it’s not as bad as you think. It is very likely that what we inject you with does nothing at all, and we will still be more than willing to take you in.” That helped calm Trace down, but he was still wary. As the teen tried to process what was happening to him he asked the obvious question, “and what would it do if it is successful?” The doctor sighed and leaned back against his seat, “if you want honesty, I have no clue. Results have been mixed so far as I have yet to pin down the exact genes and triggers I need to target. I can guarantee one thing though, if my serum affects you it will be noticeable.” As he said this Dill reached up to his face and grabbing what Trace could only assume to be a pair of glasses. When he lowered his hands the doctor’s eyes opened. The eyes were strangely reflective, shining like a cat’s night vision even in the low light that was present within the car. Trace recoiled instinctively, normal humans simply don't have eyes like that!
Dill continued to gaze at Trace as he knocked on the wall behind him. It must have been some message to the driver because the lights slowly brightened in the car until it was just as bright as if there were in the open air. Trace’s eyes easily adjusted to the changing light levels, and he finally got to see Dr. Dill. The man looked like an iconic human scientist, white lab coat and glasses included, but that does not explain his golden serpent eyes nor the thick scaly tail coming from his rear. The tail must be easily six feet long! "See why I wanted you to sit on the other side?" Trace's eyes snapped back to the doctor who was smirking at him. He couldn't tell if he wanted to be horrified by this half human half lizard before him or curious as to what all this is. Before he could fully take in the sight however, the Doctor spoke up sounding like this is something he's said multiple times. "Obviously these additions shouldn't exist on a human body. But by that logic, the many Zoanthrope races shouldn't either exist. Humanoids possessing traits of animals..." His eyes lit up with passion as he delved into his life's work "...It seems like a work of fiction, and yet they are here before our very eyes. I wanted to know why, and that is how I found out that they were a work of science! In time long past the secrets of genetics were burst open and people could become whomever they wanted to be! But now this great knowledge is lost and all I have is the remnants of science to work with..." The scientist continued to ramble ecstatically about his research, but most of the details were lost on Trace. Finally Dill seemed to reach a conclusion as he said "I am so close to a breakthrough, I just know it! I only need a few more test subjects to refine my formulas! Please tell me that you'll help!" he pleaded, clasping his hands together in supplication.
Trace couldn't decide. On one hand it seemed like he could truly contribute, for the first time in his life, to a noble goal, but on the other hand he risked as monstrous of a transformation as the man before him has. After some thought he finally spoke up, "why me?" Doctor Dill responded by saying, "why not you? You're healthy, strong, uncorrupted by drugs and other such things, and brave enough to step into the unknown. In all aspects you are an amazing example of a human being, additionally you are in the perfect position to help." Trace was still concerned about what would happen to him but realized he had a lot more to gain than loose and agreed to receive the procedure. None too soon as the car came to a stop and the driver killed the engine a short time after that.
"Ah," Doctor Dill started as he stood up, his reptilian tail orienting behind him, "we must have made it to my lab! I'd show you around, but there's time enough for that after the experiment." There was a clicking sound as the car door unlatched and a large gloved hand pulled open the door. "You've already met Knut. He runs security around here." he finished as he crawled out of the car while motioning to trace to follow him. "Security?" Trace asked hesitantly, why would a- "Yes, security. Many people have unfavorable opinions on the Doctor. It is my duty to make sure that he has a peaceful workplace. Additionally I was the least visibly changed of his subjects so I handle most of the human relations." Knut's rough voice interjected almost immediately. Now it was Trace's turn to interrupt. "Wait, Subjects? how many people have been through your experiments, and why doesn't he have a tail like you?" The doctor replied while leading the way to an unremarkable building on the outskirts of town. "just three people including myself, and like I said: Results are varied. Knut here gained elements of a bear..." Knut took off his large gloves, showing that their size was attributed more to his massive bearlike paws than the gloves themselves. "...but then again he was already plenty bearlike. It is thanks to him that I hypothesized that my current concoction provides transformations representational to the character's personality. I need you to prove my theory." "So if I don't turn into a rat your theory is right?" Trace joked, even though he believed that this experiment would do just that. Doctor Dill adjusted his glasses, accidentally causing them to catch the light, as he responded "a rat? I think not, you are not cowardly enough to be a rat. You are a wolf outcasted by its pack, forced to live on the fringe of society and treated as low as dirt, and yet you retain your pride and dignity." The truth and clarity of that statement caused Trace to pause. It seemed to almost completely define him, yet it wasn’t wholly complete. There were people who pitied him, who helped him stay alive during his earliest years. He wasn’t alone. There were people who kept his spirits soaring during the toughest times. Trace gripped the sleeve of his leathery trench coat as he reminisced about the man who gave it to him and the kindness of many he’s met.
"If you're going to turn into a statue, I'd much like it if you did so in the lab." The doctor's voice broke Trace out of his reverie. Dill and Knut had arrived at the door to the simple house that the doctor used as a laboratory, and he had to rush to catch up with them. Knut opened the door and Dill led the way to the back of the house. It was quite well cared for, with lots of room and a strange prevalence of stools instead of chairs. At the back there was a plain white door that, when opened, revealed a winding staircase leading underground. At the bottom of this staircase, it was at least two flights down, was another door reminiscent of an old-fashioned safe. Doctor Dill twisted open the contraption and pulled the door open. Inside was a brightly lit alabaster room that was undeniably a scientist's lab. It's largest feature was a table in the center of the room. It seemed to be running simulations on something, but what it was showing is beyond anything Trace could understand. A woman with fiery orange hair looked up from the far side of the table. "Doctor Dill! You're back!" Her voice was naturally intimidating. "Hello Izma, any change with the experiments?" The doctor asked as he walked into the room to allow the rest of them to enter. "Sorry, there isn't anything new to report sir." the woman responded as she rounded the table to approach them. She noticed Trace looking curiously around at all the technology, "oh? Who is this?" Izma asked as she gave him a once over. "This is- I am Trace Noil, and I'm here because I want to help." The doctor had begun to introduce him but Trace stepped forward and interrupted Dill. "I see. In that case, welcome to the family Trace." The woman came into full view, and honestly Trace was intimidated by her. She stood at an impressive seven feet and her body was well toned under the traditional lab coat. Her face is angular who's features are lightly reminiscent of a shark, giving off an air of danger that was only accented by the long red shark tail with strange black tiger stripes along it's length.
Doctor Dill clapped once, breaking the silence and grabbing the attention of everyone. "Speaking of that, let's get this underway! I'm excited to see what actually happens." He exclaimed while leading the way to a side door. Inside was a small chamber with a podlike fixture taking the majority of the room. "the process is very simple and automated. You just need to inject yourself with one of the needles located on the shelf over there, then get inside the pod. Inside there is a red button and a breathing mask. Push it button after you've put on the mask and it'll close and fill with chemicals. By the time the pod drains any transformations you would go through would be complete" Trace nodded his understanding. "So, where should I stick the needle?" He asked while eyeing the rack of rodlike self -applying syringes. "It doesn't matter where you inject the serum, but I would recommend that you strip before you start. You'll be in the pod for a while and you wouldn't want to get that leather jacket wet."
Trace agreed and, after the scientists left the room he began stripping. He placed his clothing, dark brown cargo pants, plain t-shirt, black stompers, and his favorite leather trench coat, all in a pile before approaching the row of needles. He picked one up and examined it. The device was simple: A rod with an opening on one end and a button on the other. Clearly the needle would inject the fluid into him when he passed the button. On a whim he placed the open end of the injector on the side of his neck and pressed the button. There was a faint blossoming of pain as the needle efficiently penetrated his skin, but that was all he felt. After waiting five seconds to be sure that the contents were drained he removed the injector and entered the pod. The breathing mask was hanging overhead and, when he put it on, it molded snugly to his lower face. Once it was secure he pushed a red button and the front half of the pod began closing. Trace adjusted himself into a comfortable position and closed his eyes. Soon enough he heard a housing sound and felt a liquid seep into the pod.the fluid rose until he was fully submerged. Now there was nothing left to do but wait.

He must have fallen asleep because the next thing he knew was his face being introduced to air again as the fluid started draining. Trace opened his eyes, trying to look at himself as the pod continued to drain. Nothing looked different, and that was somehow disappointing. The pod door opened and he stepped out of it. "Hiya Trace! By now you should be out of the pod..." Doctor Dill's cherry voice sounded through an intercom system, but then his voice shifted into something more impatient "...so, was my prediction correct? Have you acquired lupine characteristics?" Trace looked over himself once more to confirm what he saw inside the pod before replying hesitantly "nothing seemed to happen." There was a short pause as the doctor took this in before... "WHAT!?!" The doctor exclaimed. Moments later Trace heard a crash as something glass broke, and then Dill burst into the room. He rushed over to Trace and hurriedly began inspecting him, lifting his arms and pinching his skin. "Are you sure that nothing happened? You don't feel anything?" Trace started to shake his head, but then he stopped. "I do feel something..." at first it was barely noticeable, but now that he was thinking on it he could clearly feel something right on the edge of his mind. He tried to grasp at the sensation, but it deftly avoided him. The doctor stepped back as he pondered the results. "Perhaps your bodies reaction was delayed? Or could it be that you were changed internally? This needs further examination..."
Trace wasn't paying attention to the doctor, instead he was focusing on trying to pin down the strange feeling inside him. It was proving as effective as trying to catch a Dragonfly with his bare hands, so he changed tactics. Instead of trying to wrestle with it, he simply opened his mind to it. It instantly brought an effect with a sensation that could only be described as his mind expanding. Thick black fur erupted out of his skin as his face reconstructed itself into a distinct canine muzzle. Erect wolfish ears and a furry tail sprouted from their respective positions along with his feet lengthening into digitigrade paws completes the transformation.
Trace admired his new look "wow, your serum really went to town." Doctor Dill could only stand awestruck at the result of his creation. Recovering slightly he approached Trace as if the werewolf could disappear in a plume of smoke if he didn't approach cautiously enough. "H-ho-th-this is beyond everything I could hope for at this stage. A full transformation! Not only that, but one that can be triggered voluntarily-tell me, can you return into a human?" The doctors voice rose from unsteady stammering to ecstatic cries as he fully the impact of his success. Trace tried as he was suggested, assuming the inverse actions of triggering this remarkable shift would reverse the effect. at it would happen, his body performed exactly as expected. His form quickly and smoothly shifting back into a human. Interestingly enough the shifts caused no pain despite the drastic shifts in skeletal structure they caused. Dill clapped his hands together like an ecstatic child witnessing a magical feat. "Amazing! No, beyond amazing! I simply must learn what caused this!" The werewolf looked around the room for something in particular. "That's all fine and good, but can I have my clothes now?"

Five years has passed since that day. Trace has been accepted into Doctor Dill's home and was treated like family. Doctor Dill Spends most of his time running Trace's DNA through a variety of tests to learn what he can and has made many improvements to his formula. Trace got over Izma's intimidating appearance and realized that she is a truly kind person. Due to their mutual enjoyment of fighting, Knut and Trace quickly became close friends and the two spar often. Trace learned how to ride a motorcycle and took the task of gathering groceries and other shopping for their home. Finally, thanks to the numerous tests requested from him by Dill, Trace became very comfortable with activating his transformation, and is capable of almost instantly changing from one form to the other.
Starting Planet: Earth
Techniques:
Offensive
[V1]Telekinesis: Trace has unlocked he power to move objects and people, however he has weak control over these powers. If he were to try and use this offensively, he is incapable of lifting anything heavier than himself. He is capable of lifting people lighter than he is, however if they are capable of flight and are stronger than the telekinesis they can easily overpower the force.
Support
[SU]Battle form: Under normal circumstances Trace is a simple, yet tough (meaning that his Ki is at around 100) human being. In his human form he is incapable of sensing Ki (for future reference when he does learn how to) and his powers are locked from him. However he is capable of transforming at will and without any effort to his wolf form where all of his powers and energy are then unlocked.
Special

Transformations:
Overload(X3): Similar to the human's intense struggle transformation, Trace's esper powers has a chance of overloading themselves during moments of intense struggle. This causes glowing red markings to appear on his body (the same red markings on the picture below) as the latent energy is forced out into use. The downside to this transformation is that tapping into this well of power puts a massive strain on Trace so he can't maintain the form for too long and once it has run out he is too weak to fight. This is usable anytime, but can only be willfully activated after purchasing a technique once 20,000 powerlevel has been reached.
Feedback Loop(X6): After using Overload too many times to count Trace gets the smart idea to bounce the overflowing energy throughout his body instead of just having it burn itself out in one place. He essentially juggles the power to minimize the harm to himself and even manages to create a “feedback loop” that is caused with the power’s interaction with itself and causes it to flare with double the output from the prior Overload transformation. Trace will reach 70,000 powerlevel before he learns this transformation, and the excessive power from this inexplicitly alters his body so that medium-sized bat wings appear on his back.
100 percent(X16 Permanent): Due to Doctor Dill’s continual amazement on Trace’s inhuman power and abilities he continues to research the esper’s form. The Doctor’s research leads him to discovering Trace’s hidden form in which, when Trace agrees to take the enhancement, transforms him into the form below. Beware though: As this form was unlocked, so to was a long-dormant but powerful darkness within Trace… This would occur after Trace reaches 140,000 powerlevel.
Partial Unity(X23 Permenant): After futilely struggling against the evil that has captured his wolf form for months on end, Trace finally makes some headway into attaining full control again. He has proven that his will is stronger than the darkness within him, however it is still a constant threat and many times he loses control when fighting evil only to barely keep himself from destroying his allies as well. This would happen after he reaches 250,000 powerlevel and his body slightly changes to show his new dominance. He still has a long way to go until he has fully banished the evil within him though…
Full Unity(X50 Permanent):Trace reaches this form after completely casting off the evil within him. The struggle was fierce, culminating in a final epic battle within the depths of his own mind, but the victory caused Trace to transcend into the ranks of legendary warriors. Now he may call himself the “guardian angel of Earth”. This will occur after Trace reaches 500,000 Powerlevel.
