(In this thread, I am using Medium Weights. MOVING ON!)
A storm had been brewing on the Earth this day... A twisted pulse of energy erupted from the direction of Fukurou Forest. One that Pieter could recognize as Emer's... Something had happened to him! He knew not what happened, but he had to do something! However, Waputhi stopped him, telling him, "Pieter, now is not the time! You must let the others take care of him! If he were to see you, you'd simply be killed on the spot!"
"I know that, Waputhi, but he was just near our kin! We have to go-"
"Calm yourself," Waputhi interrupted, as he got Pieter into a headlock, "They are alright! They're energy just spiked up slightly because they were startled by the change! Focus yourself and feel them out."
Pieter struggled a bit, Waputhi not releasing his grip. For a good five minutes, they wrestled with each other. However, Pieter was finally worn down, as Waputhi released his grip. He told him, "Your emotions are clouding yourself... Feel out our family, Pieter. You will know it true."
The younger Wolfbane panted, as he sat up on his romp. He peered through his mind, in the direction of Fukurou Forest, to find that they indeed were fine. Pieter closed his eyes, as a sigh of relief flowed out. He uttered, "Thank goodness... They are fine."
Pieter stood up, spinning his arms, as he said to Waputhi, "So... I take it you have something in mind for this morning, right?"
"That's right. It's about time we go meet with Dad and have him explain what exactly happened when you were born," the 'Beargle' responded. Pieter looked at him, raising his left eyebrow and furrowing the other. Once again, Waputhi had confused the heck out of his brother, which made him slap himself in the face. He wiped his face, as he muttered, "You've got to be... You remember how, when Chief Kantari told us youngsters what happened at each of our births?"
"Yeah... He said that when you were being born, many birds flocked to the area, staring at the tent you were born in. That's why you earned the name Talon. Why are you bringing that up," Pieter asked?
Waputhi put his hand on Pieter's shoulder, as he told him, "Years later, Dad told me that there was something else that happened, for a brief moment. He said that my hands looked like the claws of an Eagle. Then, those SAME claws showed up when he and I were training while we were at Planet Vegeta. To be precise, it's that technique of mine that I used to get you to fight me and strengthen your tail."
"Wait, what are you saying, Waputhi," he asked, "Are you saying that our spirit energy manifested in some manner?"
Waputhi nodded in agreeance. Pieter looked at Waputhi in a 'bug-eyed' manner (eyes wide opened). Frankly, he believed it, but he was thinking, "Has the Chief been keeping things secret from us or..."
He asked Waputhi, "When I left to go on my journey, hadn't Dad and Bai been en route elsewhere?"
"Planet Vegeta, for a couple of days. They should be back already now, but I've not the faintest clue on where they are right now. They're probably back at the Village... You know how Bai and Dad can get sometimes..."
Pieter nodded and laughed, as did Waputhi. As they did, though, the both of them thought of the last time the two got riled up came to mind. Silence followed suit for the next 30 seconds, as a look of horror formed on their faces.
"Uhm..."
"Yeah... I think we should go get back to the village real quick..."
"Agreed."
(Continuing in the next post. This will be a 3 post thread.)

The morning hours passed by, as the two sped to their home in Fukurou Forest. Their tribe was located in the South-Eastern province of the massive forest, most of the time. Sometimes, most of the tribe would go into one of the neighboring farm towns to convene with the townsfolk. Today had been one of those days and the tribe wouldn't go over until they had the entire tribe there, to discuss who would stay behind, to watch over their homes while the rest go to the neighboring Cinna-Farms. The tribe usually let the children go each year so they could get familiar with the outside world, as well as their parents of course! Half of the elders, too, would go visit their long time neighbors, while the other half and a group of warriors would stay behind to watch it over.
Waputhi and Pieter landed down at the edge of town, their energies being felt out. Pieter walked ahead, as it had been some time since he was last here, at home. They walked towards the center of their village, where the entire tribe was meeting. Most of the adults turned, to look at Pieter in particular... Many weren't amused with his return.
"I take it they-"
"Yep."
"Am I going to be cast o-"
"Nope. They understand what happened, but they're still disappointed," Waputhi elaborated.
Pieter looked at each one of the faces around them, staring at him with sharp daggers. Pieter's grandparents looked at him, smiling at the sight of him. His grandmother walked up to him, having to use a cane now to assist her movement. Her bones were getting very old, but she was still spry enough that she could still help herself. Pieter crossed both fists over his chest, as he lowered his head and got on one knee. He uttered, "Un Tari Nav, Grandmother Marah."
She stopped before him, placing one hand over the other as she looked at him. Her husband, Jaren, walked over hunched over, too, and put his hand on Pieter's shoulder as he responded, "Gin Torra Nev, Grandson Pieter."
Pieter rose his head, to find the wooden cane popping him in the head a couple times, as Marah bellowed, "Shaak ne suun nev, Grandson! What were you doing, causing all this destruction all over the world?!"
"It wasn't my intention at all! I- No... It was my fault. I've no excuse for that. I need to find Pota, so I can fully stop this destruction that's at hand. Have you seen him or my mother," Pieter asked, frustrated at the accusation.
Jaren replied, "He and Shutara are with Bai, at the base of the grand tower. We will meet later on in the town. Shutara, Pota, and Bai are at the tower with those green, slug like folk. With who or whatever that spirit had belonged to, they're all probably in disarray. I'd suggest going to meet them there... As you see, we do not appreciate the dishonor you've given us, though it was not your fault. Go meet them and take care of the disaster you caused. Kal tsu Nav, Grandson. Be swift and wise like the Great Eagle."
Waputhi, in the midst of this, had gone to meet with his betrothed, the two giggling and enjoying the bliss of each others company. They were not focused on the matter with Pieter, as it had been a long time since the two last were with each other. Getting back to the young wolf, he stood up, arms still crossed as he bowed. His grandparents stood to the side, so Pieter could make his way to his parent. As he did, Marah took a swing at Pieter's tail strongly, the spirit being picked up by the hunter. He moved the tail in front of the blow, stopping it immediately.
"Grandmother, there is no need for any more of that... I will come back once more with the heads of the monsters that I've unintentionally released. This, I swear on my soul! Eep nav su raan."
Pieter rocketed away, leaving a stunned grand-couple, their smiles stretched and eyes widened as they watched their grandson fly off. Pieter weaved through the trees, arriving at the base of the tower within seconds. He stopped, looking around at the group of Namekians and the normal Karinga tribesman. In the midst, he could see his family moving from green man to green man, each exchanging ease of mind in their own respective manners... Although his sister seemed to be scaring the green men off more than easing their minds.
"Gin Torra Nev, family," Pieter called out, waving to his three family members. His sister and father noticed him first, the two of the waving to him before resuming their business. His mother noticed him and made her way over to him.
"Gin Torra Nev, my son! It's so good to see yo-"
"Wait, PIETER?!"
The blur of Bai speeding over with a foot extended from the distance away caused the hunter to raise his hand up to his head immediately! He grabbed at the 'invisible' form of his sister and slammed her on the ground without hesitation, as she bounced a bit on the ground. She spun around with kick to his ankle. To that, he responded with a release and a hop away. She got up with her momentum and swung at Pieter's face with a fist, grinning as she did! Pieter smiled back and caught the blow with ease, the air pushing around them.
"Got a lot of nerve going around and fighting without me, brother," Bai forthrightly stated. Bai wasn't really one who paid heed to laws, unless they're important to follow. In which case, regarding Pieter's most recent big event...
"Starting a damn battle, might I add?! Why didn't you bring me along?!"
"Well, you were with Dad, and it turned bad, sis! People died! Haven't ya been watching the news?"
"Yeah... And I'm gonna guess you wanted to fight and got bored, right," she inquired.
Pieter cleared his throat, as he stated, "Uchm... Well... About th-"
A giant figure immediately made its way over the two of them, one that rivaled the size of Waputhi at that! The two of them shuddered, as they removed their fists and bowed to the figure, whom they both called:
"Father Pota!"
"Children... No fighting... NOT WITHOUT YOUR FATHER!"
This was Pota: A giant of a saiyan, born on planet Vegeta. Once part of the Saiyan Empire's military (and still is, but his family does not know it), Pota came to the Planet Earth to 'escape' the trifles of everyday life on Planet Vegeta. This hulk of a saiyan stood well above Pieter and Bai, and even the Beargle Waputhi, with enough muscle mass to make a bodybuilder go back to their previously boring life style, or inspire them to go beyond. Long, spiky, reddish brown hair draped down to the middle of his back, with a half-foot beard to go with it.
Pieter and Bai loved this man, as well as were terrified of him, despite their power being well beyond his own at this point in their lives. The young hunter looked up to his father, as he responded nervously, "Wait wait wait, Dad! I'm here to find out some information!"
"Oh? Then you will need to beat it out of me to-"
"Honey, stop that. Not in front of the Namekian folk over there," Shutara, their mother, beckoned. Immediately, the giant cooled himself down, as he stroked his long beard.
"Very well... What're you looking at, Pie? If this is about those ladies back at Cinnaton, this is not the moment for that conversation with yer mother present."
Pota was a bit forthright with things at times. A trait that Pieter enjoyed, and at times, found frustrating at times. As he was growing up, Pota had found himself throwing more insults out than a Scottish Highlander who drank more than a 5 gallon barrel of ale and just had his clan insulted by a random vagabond... For the sake of strengthening his children's character. Mind you, it worked, but it wasn't the least bit enjoyable for anyone! For miles, Pota's voice could be heard, spouting insults and billowing out laughs louder than an orchestra of 20 bagpipes!
Pieter glared at him, red flushed as he told him, "NO I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT! NO NO NO NO NO!"
"Oooh, Piet's found himself the attention of a couple of girls, ah? Ah? Is that it?"
"Absolutely not about that! I need to talk to you about that thing from when I was born, ok?! My god, why would I- I don't even- GAH!?"
Pieter stepped over to the side, back turned to his family as he took in a deep breath through his nose. Pota walked over to him and patted Pieter on the back, telling him, "Ah, cheer up m'boy! I was just joshin' ya so ya didn' have tha' glum face on ya whilst we were chattin'... I take it tha' yer brother, Apricosh, told ya about tha' odd trait the three o' ya showed at yer birth?"
"... You know, it scares me sometimes that you can read a situation that well, Dad. But, yeah. That's what I wanted to know about. What actually happened," Pieter calmly inquired.
"What happened was that you punched a hole through the teepee with some powerful beam of energy, m'boy. Ya punched yer fists together and a sound as loud as the thunderous storm outside screeched, Pota elaborated, as he brought his fists together with the knuckles clashing with on another.
"In the process, the beam shot out took the head of a Wolf. Needless to say, that's how ya got yer spirit name, Wolfbane. Frankly, I wanted to name ya, 'Thunder Wolf,' but then I got the remark of it being cheesier than tha' Bao'Zi'Bub fella leadin' the Earth... Honestly don't know how he stays in power when his workers do all that work for him while he goes off to the gym to work out more than an excuse of a human college student on the team's football squad, as a second string lineman tha cannot do shite fer the team, but takes all the credit anyway the moment he gets put in!"
"Dad... You're rambling again."
"And? You got what'cha needed, didn't ya? What're ya still 'round fer?"
"Well... To talk with you guys some more and figure out if you can-"
Pota interrupted, "Get ya back on the tribe's good side? My boy, what do ya think I've been doin', the moment I got into Earth's orbit and got the message about yer damn bounty?"
Pieter frowned, as he looked up to his dad. Pota sighed and patted him on the back, as he explained, "Listen, Piet. Yer a grown man, who's been caught in shite pool bigger than the HFIL itself. Yer brother, mother, sister, grandparents... Grandfather, I mean, and myself have it covered. Yer grandmother's an offbeat sort'o deal that, given enough time, should get around the crap those demon kin caused. The world cannot blame ya solely fer the shite it found itself in. It was already there in the first place and ya moved it a bit, causing all the others to panic! Go get yerself figured out and get to battlin'... I want to hear the stories ya bring back to us."
"Well... Well alright then," Pieter nodded. Pota patted him on the back, before turning around and returning Bai to the Namekian crowd, spouting something about a gambling game that he used to play back on Vegeta to them. Shutara sighed irritably, rolling up her sleeves to get in the action. Before she did, she waved at Pieter with a smile.
"Honey, I've got to take care of your father and sister. You go do what's needed to be done, and may the Great Serpent be with you."
"Alright, Mom. I'll see you soon!"
He shot into the air, rising high above the trees and into the clouds. Another figure rose up, too, from his tribe's lands! It had been Waputhi, the giant brother of his once more. Pieter shot over to him quickly, greeting him happily, as he told him, "Waputhi! Dad told me about what happened."
"Good! Then we can begin practicing shortly! We just need to get to a new area! Whatever that huge power was suddenly vanished!"
"Yeah, I noticed that too! There also seems to be a bunch of powers resonating from far above! They don't seem to be intimidating like all the others that have shown all over."
"Aye. There's another thing I must show you how to do, but first, you must learn to control the thunder."
"Agreed! Lets go to the Kaval Sea west of here. I've always found that place to be quite peaceful."

(As a quick note to the staff, I'll be renaming the technique in the technique application area to "Thunder's Bark". Moving on, we finish this thing!)
Kaval Sea had been a vacation area that the members of the Karinga Tribe would go to when they wanted some peace of mind away from their friends and family. Pieter, in particular, was a frequent visitor here due to the antics of his siblings and father. His mother would join him in resting here, finding them too much for them to manage at times as well! The crashing waves cooled the lone wolf's mind, as pristine sand warmed his feet and back whenever lying on the beaches. In particular, though, there was one particular section, a cove where only a couple of people go to relax that had rigid cliffs guarding a narrow entrance. Debris would get filtered through rocky teeth underneath the watery skin of the ocean, pouring in pristine blue salt water that almost appeared like it could glow on its own. But, this only held Pieter's personal paradise.
Pieter lead Waputhi to this area, running up to the tip of the water's edge and letting his feet bury underneath the sand. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and letting the waves wash over his ears. Waputhi kept quiet, observing the waves come and wash small things to the shore. He took note of a rainbow colored spiral shell on the beach not far from the two of them, thinking, "Mm... A deadly poison hiding in this quiet place. 'tis not a good sight to abode."
He made his way over, covering his hand in a thick shell of energy, picking the shell up and quickly tossing it away in less than a hundredth of a second. Pieter's concentration stopped upon this happening, causing him to ask in frustration, "What are you doing now, brother?"
"Throwing away a bad omen from this place. A rainbow colored organism, though beautiful, is among the most dangerous of things. Especially ones that hide behind mighty shields such as that," Waputhi explained, "Now, might I ask what you are doing, Piet? I chose not to interrupt your silence, thinking you were concentrating."
"That I was. There's a cave system near this area. It's where I found that serpent tooth that I made into a necklace..."
Pieter paused for a moment, observing a worrisome expression form on Waputhi's face. Pieter then elaborated, "Waputhi "Apricosh Talon," you know fully well there is nothing here. There has not been anything for years since I found that tooth, wherever it is now!"
Waputhi lowered his head down to Pieter, stressly exclaiming, "You know I've always hated that name, and, I'm sure you've realized it now that you can feel the spirits of everything around you, that some things have learned to hide themselves!"
"Be reasonable-"
"I am reasonable, Pieter. Great Serpents do not like their territory being impeded upon! How are you so certain there is none here now?!"
"I don't, but keep in mind, we have more than easily slain Great Serpents in the past! And, as a note, that tooth did NOT belong to the one that attacked us those years ago! That was one of the first things I checked, upon its death being had! Now, are you going to teach me or will I be doing this on my own," Pieter argued, pointing at his brother.
Waputhi rose up, telling him, "Oh, I will, but now it will worse than before, due to your ignorance!"
"I welcome the challenge, Waputhi. What must I do to bring out my primal force?"
Waputhi brought up his hand, putting his ring and middle finger together, while motioning his thumb to the base of the gesture. He formed the two other points using his pointer and pinky finger, pouring energy through the four points. His hand became wreathed in an orange glow that became reminiscent to the talons of a hawk's. He turned to the water and lunged forward, cutting through the ocean water to the outer rim of the rocks! The talons faded from Waputhi's hand, as he turned to Pieter. He told his younger brother, "The technique manifests itself when the emotion of survival is made paramount. Higher levels of the technique will come as you improve your ability to control this feeling."
"Survival? What does that have to do with controlling the spirit," Pieter asked?
Waputhi replied, "It has to deal with the spirit's own emotion. This power of ours manifests itself when we're wanting to survive, putting more of our spirit into that situation of needing to survive. It can, in the process of this, be made to go kill the target as well. Survival of the body is the spirit's survival. When someone dies peacefully, they can move on to the Great Spirit's domain. However, when they die during battle, their spirit disappears from the body... At least, that's what the Grand Elder taught us."
"Yeah, but then we later found out that's not the case. It really was a way of teaching us common sense... But from what you're saying, I gotta focus on getting myself riled up for a fight," Pieter asked, trying to keep focus on forming the technique. Waputhi nodded, as he pointed out to the exit of the cove.
"That's right, in both cases. The technique's case, though, not exactly... Think about what goes into an average spirit beam. You focus on maintaining a connection to your body like a wire, as you pump energy through it to amplify the strike. In the case of my spirit energy becoming like that of a mighty bird of prey's, my spirit demanded precision strikes, and the motivation to end it in one fell swoop, no pun intended. The event of birds of many kinds flocking to the area meant that they viewed my spirit to be like that of one of the Great Birds... Again, from what the Grand Elder told me. When Dad explained it to me, he told me that it was as if he knew then and there that I'd be a swift and powerful warrior that'd even make many elites cower. Lo and behold, when he took me to Planet Vegeta and I formed this feeling so strongly during our training there... Well, that's a story for another time," Waputhi explained, stopping himself abruptly before he got lost bragging out loud.
Pieter found this partially helpful, but once again, he found Waputhi dancing around the method in that usual manner of his. He scrunched his face up, as told him, "Kinda did that already, Apricosh..."
"Oh, I did, did I?! Maybe I should take that tail of yours now and have it be done with that, hmm!?"
The giant formed his talons once more, to threaten his little brother. Pieter smirked, as he arrogantly uttered, "Your saiyan's coming out again, Waputhi."
Waputhi's eye twitched as he rose his hand to strike at Pieter. He began to swing, which made Pieter form his mastered Tomahawk Slasher, bringing it to meet the Talons! The sand kicked up around them from the impact, Waputhi struggling to push Pieter back. Pieter hopped backwards for distance. Waputhi, too, did the same. The two were getting pumped up to have another brawl with each other!
"Right now, you've got me a bit annoyed, Piet... However, you're asking me to help you learn this!"
"Yeah, and that's what we're gonna be doing," Pieter responded, the smile still remaining as his Tomahawk faded away. His elder brother looked at him aghast for but a moment as Pieter charged in, punching his own fists before taking a swing at him!
Waputhi shifted his hips and let him slip by him. He attempted to punch Pieter in the back, but found himself a tad too slow to catch the wolf's back! Pieter skid across the sand and leaned back with a hand, clawing at it until he came to a stop. Upon doing so, he turned around and punched his fists again, calling out, "Again...!"
Pieter charged ki into one fist, firing it forward with a punch! Something odd came up with this attack, as it fired out that the wolf immediately noticed. He felt as though the attack had more ki behind it, as it erupted out of him. Waputhi, too, noticed this, but smacked it to the side effortlessly! He charged his spirit into his hands, developing Talons on both hands and quickly swinging right afterwards in a V formation.
"Eagle Ripping Talons!"
The Talons ripped forwards, cutting the beach effortlessly! Pieter shot up into the sky, narrowly avoiding the attacks. He charged energy much earlier this time into his fists, clashing the energy together. The hunter wolf had been testing out the method, to see what and how exactly Pieter did this when he was but a babe right out of the womb, using what his father told him.
"Dad said I punched my fists together and I had then, afterwards, punched forward and blew open a hole in the teepee. I've been doing that, but it's just been going out as regular spirit blasts, so how," Pieter thought, as he punched forward to release another failed attempt, "How did I do it when I was just a newborn?!"
"Hyaaah!"
A beam of energy shot through Pieter's measly blast, pelting him in the gut while distracted! He fell from the sky, as his older brother bolted towards him. Waputhi bellowed out, "Not done yet!"
He unleashed a hammer blow at Pieter's chest, sending him pile driving into the water below. Pieter lost his breath, as he plummeted down into the water, creating a gigantic splash that, for a moment, revealed the bottom of the small cove! The water, though, came back to crush him with just as much force. It was enough to enrage the hunter! He ripped out of the water, going immediately airborne with ki focused in his hands.
"Gonna regret that one," he bellowed, as he punched forwards! Upon release, Pieter felt something different with the attack. It appeared normal to Waputhi, who batted away the beam attack and mocked the attempt. The wolf, though, found something divergent in the attack... For a moment, it sounded as though there was very distant thunder rolling upon the beam erupting out. It gave him an idea to work with.
He brought both fists together once more, hunching over as he focused the energy in his fists, as well as his emotion. He believed that his anger, or perhaps his wrath, was the trigger. Piet had to test it out, so he began digging deep in, searching for that wrathful emotion. As he did, memories of the World Tournament disaster flooded through him. Oguma's slaughter of the people, with the maniacal laughter from Tsumuri bit at him like hundreds of mosquitoes. It, in fact, infuriated him very much! The storms in his mind began to shake him into an infuriated state.
"No..."
Electricity zapped around his body, as his brown aura flared into existence with his power build up. Waputhi stopped his mocking quickly, preparing to defend himself. This was what he was looking for... Just as he himself did on Planet Vegeta while training with Pota, Pieter was feeling the fury; the wrath that he had been keeping locked away. Waputhi's aura flared up, as he extended the arms out. Like a phoenix from flame, his aura formed wings spread out, before wrapping themselves in front as Waputhi crossed his arms in front.
"Come Pieter... Release the wrath," Waputhi commanded! On command, and a mighty howl, Pieter brought his hand back and punched forward, unleashing a powerful beam at his brother! The clash of thunder boomed through the area, scaring the wildlife away from the area. The beam, yellow with a white core, pushed into the wing-like barrier, sending energy around and past Waputhi's barrier. It lasted for five seconds, the beam continuous and strong for the duration, before vanishing into thin air.
Pieter caught himself at his knees, panting as he did. He looked at Waputhi, smiling as he asked, "Was that... What you were looking for?"
A now weary giant, after dispelling his barrier, agreed with the statement. As if agreeing to relax, Pieter let himself fall back down into the watery pool beneath him, to cool down. Waputhi proceeded to do the same, the two of them somehow being flung on to the sandbank, passed out under the bright afternoon light.

This is like a Chuck Norris level thread, my favorite line was "Frankly, I wanted to name ya, 'Thunder Wolf,' but then I got the remark of it being cheesier than tha' Bao'Zi'Bub fella leadin' the Earth..."
