Hi all,
Was recently hit by a bout of nostalgia and tried to search in vain for a very old Dragonball RP site I posted on. It was long gone but my search lead to this site and a very active community I was eager to join. However - from what I can gather - it seems as though the site itself is winding down in favour of a type of reboot early next year.
In light of this I'd like to ask the community in general and the site owners in particular would they recommend creating a character here and now or holding off until Turbo? As I understand it (could be very wrong here) nothing of the characters created on Souls will carry over to Turbo.
Thank you for your time and apologies for the click-baitish title.

Hi, fightingirish! I think there is certainly a point in creating a character, in my opinion.
Firstly, you get to make connections with the site's members, gaining a ton of friends rp partners for Turbo and also potentially being able to plan connections for your Turbo character early on. Second, you can try out one or two of the various races and see which one fits you best. While everything might not be the same, I gather it's going to be very similar. At least, we'll be having similar races. (again, from what i've gathered)
(Now, stepping away from Turbo since that isn't my area of expertise and all my knowledge is second or third hand...)
Third, there's still plenty of time to have some good plot and character interactions! We have a multiversal tournament coming up soon as well that sounds fun. Beyond character interactions, there's also time to gain plenty of power too. I've been a member for 8 months, but only really super active for six months. It seems there will be about six months or more until the new site, so if you're pretty active, lots of progress can still be made with your character. ^^
Hope that helps you decide!

Thank you for your response Gira, I appreciate you taking the time. Apologies for taking so lot to get back to you had some IRL issues pop up.
A lot of what you said makes sense, especially in regards to getting to know the community here and to gain interaction with the members. With that in mind I'll be looking to create a character to join the board.
Thanks again for your time.
