The planet rumbled and shook.
Things were scattered all around, and although he could not see them, he could feel them in their calamity and haste from within his prison. Something was disturbing the area out side of the world he had known, and it was some thing bright and beautiful.
While Deeyun could not open his eyes against the harsh liquid that he was contained in, he was not blind to the world. Over time he had learned to reach out side of his glass cage with a type of spiritual sensing, and had watched the world from here and learned from it.
He knew about the namekians, and their peaceful ways. He watched them farm pointlessly to pass the time, and train their warriors. He studied their language and culture, and the way that they never seemed to have a care in the world.
Dee watched his father as well, the scientist who meandered about the planet with his small glow of life and often injected needles into the body of his sleeping son. DNA had begun to grow tired from the last two years of watching this bore of a planet.
But then the planet rumbled and shook. And for the first time in his entire life, Deeyun could feel a flutter inside his chest as his heart became excited.
Something had come to the planet, he could sense that much. Something big, many big things that made up a bigger thing. What that was, he was not sure, but more big colored life energies moved towards it.
The smaller energies moved away from it, and began to leave the planet one by one like rain drops falling upwards.
And then Dee felt his father returning home, but there was other life forces shortly behind him. Including his creator, five energy signals entered the cave all together and seemed to become still for a few minutes. Even from beyond the cave wall that hid him, and through the glass that contained him, he could hear the words with his physical ears. He had never heard a voice other than his father's, and it felt odd and invasive.
" You took advantage of the saiyan invasion Doctor! You used the chaos around us to try and take things too far!" A gruff voice said. DNA could feel this energy signatures owner, and that it was quite powerful in comparison to his father.
He then heard his fathers voice. "Are you really going to worry about one lone namekian, when your entire planet is about to be destroyed?!" He father roared furiously. "If you would have just let me perform the experiments I had asked, you would have been better prepared to defend against these threats! Instead-"
A different voice, much finer and younger cut him off with anxiety. There was weakness within this sound.
"Instead we respected the lives of our brothers! We said you were welcome here as long as you were civil! How many have died at your hands? Theres no use lying now that the truth is out!" The energy signature to this one was smaller than his fathers.
Deeyun stirred in his glass container the smallest amount.
His father spoke again. "None of it matters now! Come with me, my ship can give you refuge from this battle. If you would just-" His energy signature moved, but there was a sound of chaos from where DNA lingered.
An explosion sounded that shook the entire cave violently, so violently that everything was taken off of the walls like an earth quake, and a very beautiful thing happened.
Deeyun's glass prison tilted like a falling log, and shattered against the stone ground....
Everything became very bright for a moment and silent as his body adjusted to something other than a liquid surrounding, and his eyes opened in full for the first time. Everything was gray around him, save for a few computer terminals that had been connected to his glass house.
Dee looked down at his hands, and their white pigment with black nails that supported him while he was down on all fours. He leaned back, and stood up with surprising agility, still staring at his fingers at he flexed them into fists and then flat again. What a strange sensation.
The small creation then focused his mind for a moment. It had been so easy to feel the world when you were always closed off to it, but now he actually needed to concentrate to see what was beyond the wall that seperated him from the other side of the cave.
There was two signatures in the area now. His fathers was slowly dimming out and fading away, while the same smaller power level waited not far away. His father was dying, how interesting!
Deeyun reacted as if the world was natural to him, and held out the palm of his right hand flat. There was a soft hue of yellow glow around it for a moment, which then solidified into a ball the size of a namekian fruit, rotating and pulsating at the end of his hand. Releasing it with casual effort, he watched the energy crash through the false wall in an eruption of smoke and brittle stone while leaping through it.
He emerged on the other side, to see a young namekian warrior with a horrified expression, and his father lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood. DNA's eyes flicked back and forth between the two, and he growled in a primitive emotion of anger.
The Namekian steadied himself, and entered a sloppy fighting stance. " Grr, I can feel the abomination of your energy. What ever you are, you will die with the monster that created you!" The young warrior cried out, and lunged forward with a sharp spear like hand with nails like tiny daggers.
Deeyun watched curiously as the attacked sailed towards his head, and with leering eyes he craned his neck to the right, effortlessly dodging it. The Namekians eyes went wide with even more horror, and then still as Deeyun launched his tail from his back, around the both of them, and into the green slug-man's head from the back. The sharp needle like tip of his tail embedded into the skull with ease, and immediately made a sucking sound like a straw to a near empty cup.
Bit by bit the young warrior was drained of his weight and began thinning away as his bones were the only thing that held his skin in place. Then the skin tightened as that too began to decay into an off yellow, gripping to what little it had left to hold to. Finally it all fizzled away as the body dropped, and was drained of its final life essence.
The android creation looked down at his first meal's left over clothes, and then was distracted by the sound of gurgling.
His father was staring at him through dying eyes. "My child..." he choked, holding out a hand.
Deeyun took a few steps towards his creator in silence, and looked down at him.
"Your alive! My beautiful beautiful -" He was cut off in shock, as the same needle point of a tail pierced his own skull, and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Within moments, there was nothing left of him but his clothes.
DNA looked to the mouth of the cave, where smoke was flooding out from all the destroyed equipment of the labratory. The planet shook again, and he could feel the chaos beyond this place.
He took quick strides towards the world, out the mouth of the cave, and towards his next meal.
