Mimikku would be resting within her space pod as it flew through the silence of space. After the battle on Vegeta she had decided to grab her capsule and get into flight shortly after Maeve had left the planet. Once on the planet she was going to look for the kami. As Mimi was going to hold onto her words that she had spoken. Despite not being anything close to a friend to the kami. She was going to be her ally in this endeavor. Even if it resulted inside of her death.
Going from Vegeta to Namek was a long flight and she was meditating. Within her own mindscape she was standing there speaking with Lilith. Taking a few moments to talk to her. “Seeing as we are on our way to nearly certain death once again Lilith I figure that you and I should talk once again. It has been too long since the last time that we went along and did this.”
The figure of the goddess nodded at Mimikku and smiled at her widely. Lilith had many things that she had to tell her. They had both grown so strong in the years since they had begun their journey. A long time in fact since they had even spoken without something quickly coming up against them in the future. This time was much of the same as it always is. “Yes Mimikku I wanted to bring you into even more secrets of us Goddesses. We are similar to what that large red ogre King Yemma spoke about. In our distant earliest memories, we lived in harmony with your ancestors. We intermingled and married and of course had children. Yet over time we… became lost into the fog of history. Many things were lost the most powerful of these is how to transcend our physical beings.”
The figure of the goddess began to walk around her slowly. As she did the area around the pair would slowly begin to etch lines into the fabric of the mindscape. Inhaling and exhaling lightly Mimikku would look at her. “And with that inside of the past we… well we could join with our hosts after a period of time. Slowly we merge into one being. Yes, Emer was right when he told you so long ago that we eventually become one. The difference is that the way that we are progressing is heading toward something my mother would call Enlightenment. A path that we will slowly become one being. Instead of the two of us being separate… We will be one.”
These words actually surprised Mimikku. For Mimikku it was something that she was not really used to hearing from Lilith. Yes, the two of them where close to one another but the fact that she was telling her that they would become one person. It kept her brain racing but she did speak up. “If this is true then why is it that you have never told me before? Is it because things are developing so fast that you do not wish to lose a part of yourself should the worst come to pass and we are killed once more?”
Lilith would nod to Mimikku as her hand began to glow and the etching on the ground began to glow as well. Inside of the space pod would begin to glow as the marking made upon Mimikku as an infant began to glow and the one over her stomach began to fade and the marking over her heart glowed even brighter. Looking at Mimi as she began to walk toward her friend she would close her eyes and the glowing hand would be placed upon Mimi’s chest above her heart. “Mimikku. Do you promise to uphold the virtues that we have begun to fight for? Do you care to keep on going forward and stopping the forces of evil that crisscross the galaxy with their influence? Will you stand against them even if it leads to your death in the future? Do you accept me once more into your being?”
Closing her eyes Mimi would reflect on everything that had transpired in her life. Starting with the slavery, to her life with Ruto, his death, everything that happened after arriving on Earth and her time with Emer and Nai-ran. So many people and yet she had to always keep moving forward. The nights with Emer just before his last disappearance and her miscarriage about a month after he left. Everything laid bare before her through Lilith made things so apparent. She was destined to do this and she would move forward. In haling and exhaling she opened her eyes and looked directly into the eyes of her goddess. “Yes I am. I will do whatever is needed and whatever penance will be taken from my flesh for it I do not care about. I want us to someday help our people get out from that pit they are within. So, by getting stronger not to kill but to quell the notions that all of us are weaker and subservient all the time to the Saiyan’s… I want to end that prejudice and I. I just want to be able to find a place that I can call home and no longer worry.”
Lilith smiled at her with a wide grin. The fact that she had spoken this was something she had been hopeful and now all of the patience had paid off. The glowing hand turned into the goddess’ entire body glowed a bright white for a moment. Inside of that moment Mimikku would scream out in pain as suddenly she felt a massive surge of energy inside of herself. Clamping her eyes tightly shut she would clench her hands tightly for a few minutes before releasing them. She felt a deep refreshing push go through her entire body. Exhaling she raised her hands up as she looked at the figure in front of her. Lilith stood there her hair a stark white and her appearance was slightly weaker in both stance and power than before.
“What did… Why are we?” Lilith raised her hand obviously attempting to settle down Mimikku. In a more ethereal voice than before she would speak. “We have become more like one Mimi. You have allowed me to place a part of my soul within your own. Well more that I was able to combine that small bit of myself into you that was not already placed there by that magic from Realigner Red. So, I completed that bit and took a bit of the weakness and weariness from your body into my own… As time grows this form I use now will become closer to that of your original body and yours will morph into a perfect representation. When you arrive on Namek look into the waters and see what all happened to you. It will be for the best you see it then.”
Mimikku would nod once more as the pod’s noise of nearing her target would awaken her from the meditative dream state she had been inside of. Reaching up she turned off the alarm and readied herself for the descent and hoped for all that was good and holy that she would land far away from any sort of civilization and be allowed a few moments to gather up her senses before she was assaulted by locals or by those of the Mazoku.
