Satan City was a vast, intricate, labyrinth of noisy, streets and alleys. Flying above, Chai could still could hear the incessant honking of the vehicles even before the sun rose. Impatient businessmen who had to get to the office, mothers who had to leave their children at their schools, facing the puzzling challenge of navigating through the crowd of parents and children. Others had stopped at the local bakery to get a bagel or two before their morning routine. Cars were just little dots on the streets from this high up, travelling across the roads like blood through a vein. Life flourished even more so in Satan City with the rising of the sun.
Vi-Poi had headed off to Vegeta to deal with the saiyans, but the goatman and the rest of the Blue Banner Army were tasked with holding down the fort back at their home base while the president was off running errands. At this point, Chai felt like it was just him now. Tulip was off doing whatever, and he hadn't heard from Collan or Vivian in awhile. There wasn't even a peep from Captain Nova, who Chai still had yet to meet. The rest of the weaker soldiers were always a pleasure to have around, but Chai had been a one-man army for KAOS lately... Even though there was barely anything to do to begin with lately.
...He really needed a vacation.
Guardia peered out of his sheath, staring down at the cityscape below. The blade had been pretty lax with their lack of duties and the war between the Saiyans and the Mazoku, unlike the high-strung Chai. The goat decided to patrol Satan Vity for any criminals, and stop by a few shops to restock on their food and goods. Guardia had been dying for the new Zoan Junction game as well on his 3DB. 'So, uh, what's the plan again? Just walk around and look for baddies?' The sword questioned, eyes darting off of the screen of his gaming device. "We should find something to do, more or less." Guardia rolled his eye. Chai was one for peace, yes, but it seemed even he had been left cold.
Descending to the sidewalks would result in not a soul looking up from their daily duties. Flying, superpowered fighters were just the norm nowadays. Chai wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing, though. Guardia only ever raised his eyes from his game when a little kid dashed by, with their mother in tow. "Mom! We're not gonna make it!" The boy protested, dragging his mother along. "I wanna see the Great Saiyaman Neo! There's gonna be a big line also by the time we get there now!" Guardia's eye widened while the mother sighed, being dragged around the corner by her son.
'Oh. My god.' Guardia finally closed his handheld system. 'Chai! Did you hear that?!' His eye glimmered, and the goat raised his brow. What was up with his sword buddy now? Guardia continued, not waiting for a response. He had seen the real-life superhero on the news a several times, and was already a huge fan. He hadn't seen Nova in awhile, and instantly hooked onto the other hero. 'I-I can get her to sign my hilt-- Oh Beelzebub below, It's gonna be so cool! And it's something to do for you!' He proclaimed, eye glimmering like a star. Chai had heard the name before on the television, but he never looked too much into the Saiyaman. "Well, if it makes you happy, then let's do it." Chai shrugged, deciding to appease his partner.
Chai smiled at Guardia's continued excitement on their way to see Neo. He was a very emotional and excitable demon sometimes, sure, but this side of him was much more rare compared to his usual sass-supreme mode. It was nice to know even the "great and mighty" Guardia had his idols.

The Great Saiyaman Neo had only recently started meeting her fans at events like these.
At first, the disguised saiyan hadn't really seen the point in doing so. Surely such fan gatherings detracted from her ability to fight crime and save lives? Only, she'd began to see what impact she'd been having on the people in the streets.
