History:
Born and raised during an earlier time for the Saiyan Solar Empire, Andur was a true and loyal Saiyan among his brethren. A natural in following orders, joining the ranks of the empire was a perfect fit for the young warrior. It was just as well, as he grew to become a very determined soldier in his own right. Over the years, he had risen through the ranks as he proved his worth time and again. This led to him becoming a part of a squad, taking on whatever tasks came at them.
For a time, life went as well as it could. Do your duty, keep yourself occupied and everything would go well. Andur grew attached to his squadmates in his time with them, even as they didn't always get along. Years of fighting together has helps to form a family bound in fire and blood, confiding in each other when no one else would. Even Andur himself had to appreciate the things that his squad has done for him in the times when he stumbled, proud to be leading them for so long. When it came to politics, though, he simply chose to keep his head down. It wasn't his business to dig into stuff like that, but he was willing to serve the Empire as anyone would.
Of course, that would be put to the test as a particular mission came to change the lives of Andur and his team forever. In an assault gone wrong, Andur's squadmates were injured and left for dead, their leader rushing in to save them. There were plenty of enemies all around, but Andur stayed and fought for his allies. In the end, however, he became heavily wounded as well, prepared to die alongside his team. Just when it seemed like this would be the end, however, a mysterious being appeared and knocked out Andur, dragging the Saiyan away from the scene...
The next few months came at a blur for the Saiyan soldier. Day in and day out, his body became a plaything for his captors, who turned out to be a group of Brenchian biologists. Apparently, the opposing forces that his team attacked sold him off to the scientists as a genetic commodity, leaving the others to die out on the battlefield. Andur was too weakened and pained to scream out, let alone protest as he continued to be tortured. These people wanted to create some sort of "perfect warrior" to help overthrow their government, deciding to use Andur as a base to splice in the DNA and organs of other species. Watching himself as everything that made him a Saiyan was corrupted and decayed, Andur felt himself slowy become something gross and terrifying.
The next thing he knew, Andur was taken into a freezing chamber, laying for what seemed like an eternity. The last thing the Saiyan would see is the faint sight of a Brenchian woman calling herself "Daria". It was the one thing left that he held onto as he faded away into unconsciousness. Ten years would pass before he came to awaken and escape from his prison, seemingly abandoned over time. To his horror, Andur found parts of his body changing into grotesque forms of claws, fangs and weaponry. He no longer felt like any semblance of a person, but more of a monster reborn.
Finding a cloak and some clothing to hide himself, Andur would venture out under a new alias; Hazard. Seeing as his old self was long dead, it didn't take long for the bio-android to embrace his new abilities. A hunger within him grew as he started to devour and assimilate other living beings to regain his strength. At first, Hazard tried to stick to only going after criminals across space, but eventually, the hunger became too great. Prey was prey, no matter if you were sinful or innocent. For the next several years, Hazard continued to travel throughout the galaxy, taking in money from mercenary jobs in order to keep himself afloat.
It would take a while until signs of a still-standing SSE would come his way. While Hazard was prepared to join the fight once again, a part of himself worried about how he would fit in a world that was no longer his own, not the mention how others would react to his mutated form. Hazard would soon make his way back to planet Vegeta, taking in familiar surroundings. He knew he had to blend in as much as he could, and so he ventured forth to tell the others of his survival. It would take a while for him to get used to this new battlefield, but Hazard was ready to serve his home planet once again.
