Empy had always dreamed of entering college. Looking towards the shining building as he was sitting in a alleyway with a few kids who were playing cards with each other, he threw a rock to them once in a while before keeping his hand firmly grasped onto the gun that was near him. His tiny flipper impatiently tapped his own lap before groaning lightly.
"Today just ain't gun be Empy's day."
Slowly pointing the weapon forwards, the penguin unloaded a shot between the kids that were abandoned on the streets; letting them scamper off. He was making sure they didn't run off in the wrong distance. Lil' Empy then saw the group of men that were out to get themselves a few more employees in some shady business. Children always lacked the power to deny what the adults wanted, although some dream; like stars that were visible in the sky. It made the kids excited about their own dreams.
"I don't see the kids, only this penguin..."
"Empy saw 'em run, they took the pipes and went to the roof."
Empy spoke, his eyes slowly looking towards the bulky men. They were the kind that took a few lessons from a school and then walked off; many teachers were starting to become apparent with shady methods. The first of the men, glowing with energy, smashed a fist into his cheek and slammed the penguin into a wall. Unfortunately, it was enough to cause him to gag and gasp for air. Droplets of water began to run down his face before crawling up slowly, refusing to be kept down.
"Empy told yha, they went up the pipes, if ye want the-"
"Stop bullshittin us, there's no fucking way they climbed up seven stories while we were runnin' in."
Before the large man sent the two away into the distance, letting them search the other two passages leading out from this alley, hopes of finding a clue hung around. The leader, lifting up the penguin, clubbed it's face in with a single blow. Blood splattered against the wall before Empy regained his consciousness at night, lying in a puddle of dried blood. As he remembered the news of those warriors who were able to grow so quickly, so powerfully, they were dream. Like objects that Empy never expected to see before himself, yet on the news there were hundreds of them coming from other planets. Tears soon began to slowly spill down his face again as he just took the gun that he had within one of the flippers Glad it always re-appeared when he needed it, before long he was putting it slowly to his own beak.
"...Empy ain't bitch made..."
Slowly pulling away, the gun made a loud clattering noise against the floor. As he just kept feeling the tears slowly starting to run down his cheek, the pace of his little flippers slapping against the ground, an uneven tone rang out as he had made his way up and walked out.
Visions of the night life, of filth and disgust; before the little penguin were people screaming in regards to his weapon; some just laughed and comforted others that it was probably fake. Just another street kid as he just kept making his way forwards.
"Empy ain't bitch made. Empy gonna show them... Empy wants to get his family out..."
Moving out in the night, hoping to archieve his goal, how slow it may even be...
Empy continued on.
