Feet dangling above the floor, the girl's movements began to slow as she ran out of breath. The father, still frantic, once again attacked her assailant who simply grabbed his arm with his free hand, quickly twisting it enough to break. Screams broke out from both him and the mother. Nihilus then released his grip over the girl's throat, and dropped her back onto her bed as she searched for air while violently coughing. Panicked, the mother grabbed a chair and raised it above her head to attack, though Nihilus of course noticed. The broken arm of the father was clenched as the Demon instructed the mother to drop it with motion using his other hand. Too stunned at first, she hesitated only to watch Nihilus twist the arm harder forcing the husband to scream in pain. This time, she obliged and shrieked in absolute fear.
After releasing the destroyed arm of the father, the dark warrior reached over and grabbed a fist full of the daughter's hair and yanked her out of bed. He also lifted the father off the ground by his broken arm and shoved them both towards the mother, forcing them all into the "living room" area of the hut. The three residents trembled in fear, comforting each other as Nihilus paced back and forth with his hands locked together behind his back while looking towards the floor. Once in a while he would shoot his head up to stare at them, and they would instantly freeze. The smirk on the Demon's face could not be seen, but he was simply toying with them.
Finally, he turned to face them, while he was pacing he assigned them each a number between one and three. He then pointed at the father, who was still whimpering in pain; "Choose a number between one and three, now..."
"W-what?" the father asked, confused as expected.
"Choose!" the Demon's voice got deeper and much more serious. He held his right hand up which began to glow as he gathered energy.
"T-t-two??" he said in an asking tone.
"You lose", Nihilus replied as he aimed his hand at the man's face. The mother and daughter scooted away in terror and watched with wide eyes as their intruder fired a Demon Blast at their family member. Screaming and crying having watched him be disintegrated before their eyes, they cuddled closer. The mother was trying to console the daughter, as Nihilus again paced back and forth.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" the mother asked with sheer agony in her voice. Once again he stopped, pointed at the daughter and demanded;
"Choose a number between one and two. NOW."
"NO!" she let out with a cry as she buried her face into her mother's bosom, hugging her tight.
"Now!" the ghastly assailant shouted with his glowing hand aimed at her face as he gathered energy.
"One!" she screamed with her eyes closed tight as she cowered against the corner of the couch. When she opened her eyes, she was alone. Her mother was gone and all that remained was a scorch mark where her mother once sat. She squealed and balled, bringing her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth as Nihilus paced back and forth again, his hands locked together behind his back once more. He then stopped, walked to her and asked;
"Show me which hand you write with."
Hysterical as ever, the girl held up her right hand and quickly tried to retract it, but failed. Her worst nightmare quickly clenched it and pulled her to the floor, placing her hand palm down, and he held it there tight. "Hold still".
She kept her hand there and trembled throughout her body as if there was an earthquake happening at that very moment. Her hand kept shifting, but she kept it in place with her eye lids clenched tight. She took deep breaths and opened her eyes, only the see the masked demon who had killed her family, with his left leg raised to about waist level, staring at her. She screamed and cried in sheer agony as he slammed his foot down on her hand, breaking every single finger, along with her wrist. Once he removed his foot, she gripped her hand with her left, crying and crying.
Nihilus looked at her, smirked and said nor did anything else, besides walk away. He exited the hut and saw many villagers standing by wondering what was going on, but none stepped up. Looking directly at the eldest in the crowd, he held up his middle finger and swiped from beneath his chin, towards her. Just then, he propelled high into the air and shot off to the west. That village, would be his new favorite place to visit, but he did not wish to remain there indefinitely. He would be back soon, next time, with a more promising endeavor.
