[Thread PL: 37,589] [Ki Suppression On, Adjusted PL: 50] [ Glacius Celcius ]
It was an incredibly peaceful day in the Bamboo Forest. The Earth's bright yellow sun brought a lovely warmth to the forest while its rays were cast down to provide a natural source of vitamin D to the inhabitants of the planet. While it was not a clear afternoon, the few puffs of moisture that drifted in the sky kept to themselves, adding to the beauty of the heavens. Out and about among the large bamboo shoots and other plant life resided different families of animals which could only add to the tranquility of the area. A small family of monkeys resided in the tree tops above the forest floor. The family consisted of a father, a mother, and their two young ones, each with fur containing different shades of brown. The father primate sat comfortably on his perch while munching on a delicious stick. His mate, on the other hand, ran her fingers through the male's fur, occasionally delighting in the insects that she found. All the while, their children were playing a friendly game of tag; leaping and swinging across the different trees as they frolicked. A doe and her young fawn walked along a fresh brook as they nuzzled into the grass, each finding plentiful food to devour. They worried not of natural predators, as they picked up nary an imposing scent. Across the babbling cool water, a majestic elk was rubbing its horns against the bark of a larger tree so that it could mark its territory to other males that happened to be in the region. Although, a previously unseen young buck came into the vicinity with his head held high. The older elk's attention turned to the potential challenger, at which point their eyes locked. Further down the stream, the Saiyan Kale sat cross-legged at the edge of the bank with a fishing rod in his hands. The red and white bobber drifted elegantly on the water's surface as Kale remained patient. He had sat there for fifteen minutes waiting for one of the sly fish to take a nibble at his hook. Maybe they were just too smart for him? The Saiyan exhaled a bored sigh. "Nothing's taken a bite in a while," he murmured. "Maybe I should try a different area, like the lake that's not too far from here--" Before the Saiyan could utter another word, the bobber disappeared. Kale's eyes grew wide in excitement and he shot right up onto his booted feet. "Alright! I got one!" reacting quickly, he yanked his fishing pole to the side to help the hook latch onto its prey.

Shen Fennel walked through the woods looking for anything that might have been suspicious. He didn't know if there was any ghost around as he had to be hunting. The last ghost he had been hunting well...that went badly. The last ghost was not all that bad but then there was the saiyan woman the sister of the queen. The sister seemed intent on killing them for no reason? He didn't understand as someone would have so much bloodlust. He shakes his head maybe he just needed to relax. His eyes wandered as he could a young man fishing. Shen walked forward as he bob disappeared as he went to catch a fish. Seemed something had grabbed his lure and got ready to pull up a fish. Shen walked forward sitting a couple feet back watching Kale fish he nodding his head, "Yo." He said looking at the saiyan, "You got a second fishing pole." He said calmly watching the man fish, it seemed very fun to do. Fishing maybe he should have gave it a try. Maybe it was what he needed something fun and relaxing to do. Instead of focusing on all the bad things that had occurred maybe he just needed to just forget about it and have a nice good day talking with someone or attempting to fish something up.

TAKESHII PL: 3830 HW PL: 958 HEAVYWEIGHTS: +75%
Takeshii had decided to take a wander, now that things were settling down a bit. She was actually going to try to find a nice spot to start building her house. She was walking along, the Saiyan whistling softly to herself, as her warm chocolate gaze would slip over the forest. She caught the sounds of the primates over head and would glance up, a bit of a chuckle coming from her. Her own tail flicked behind her slowly, occasionally coiling up to wrap around a bare thigh. The sunlight filtered through the trees, occasionally casting that dancing light over her form, that midnight colored hair standing up like spikes on top of her head. She suddenly heard the sound of bubbling water ahead, and would decide a nice soak would be a good thing, perhaps help her cool off just a bit. She was stepping towards the water when she heard voices, and the Saiyan, so very new to these lands, would tense. Her fingers instinctively coiled into fists, but she would hold her rage in check for now. She was not going to fight...not unless she had to.
A step around a particularly large tree would have her facing the clearing where she saw the two near the water's edge. Her gaze would drift over them for a moment, taking in the men's forms, and attempting to judge their power with but a glance. What was it Lev had told her to do. Focus on their aura's while maintaining her own. She breathed deeply, and from what she could see Kale appeared to be pretty weak, though there was bit more power coming from Shen. She decided then and there, that the two males were not a real threat, and would step out from behind the tree when she saw that bobber drop below the water line. Her voice would come with a soft, non threatening tone then, the Saiyan seeming in complete control of her rage...at least for the moment.
"Well, looks like you have a bite there. Maybe this is a lucky spot for fishing."
She smiled broadly and would step closer, showing her hands and that she meant no harm to the two men. Her booted feet would click across the ground as she walked, and she would approach the two men, stopping a bit away, but close enough for them to see and hear her. She would lower herself down next to the waters edge, and would kick off her boots, letting bare feet drift into the water with nary a splash. Takeshii let out a sigh of contentment and would close her eyes a moment as she let out a breath.
"Mmm, this seems a nice place to relax. I was not expecting to see anyone else out here, if truth be told. I was wandering and looking for a good place to set up home."

Kale's attention had was pulled from his struggle with his soon-to-be meal the moment that Shen walked up to him and inquired about a second pole. Keeping his eyes on the line, he would answer the hybrid. "Huh? Oh, yeah! Gimme a second."
Yet another person approached from within the woods. This time, it was a Saiyan female. Kale craned his neck to observe her once she commented on the meal that he had landed. By no means did the woman appear to want to cause trouble. Her tone and her body language made that obvious. "Yeah," he replied, "I've almost got 'im!"
This fish was strong, but not quite the match for the Saiyan fisherman. Kale excitedly scrambled to his feet and gave his pole a mighty pull. Up from the drink soared a twenty-pound dark-green largemouth bass, water splashing from the area where it broke the water's surface. The fish helplessly flew toward the shore, specifically in the direction of the hungry Saiyan. Kale acted swiftly and grasped the portion of the fishing line that was closest to the bass. His eyes lit up with glee. It was a contrast to the cold, lifeless gaze of the panicked fish.
His goal complete, Kale had a chance to introduce himself to the strangers. He cautiously removed the hook from the bass's mouth. The Saiyan was careful not to hurt the fish more than he had to. Kale reached into his left pocket, from which he procured a small capsule. With a click and a puff of smoke, a medium fishing cooler filled halfway with ice was now in his grasp. He set the cooler down and placed the bass onto the ice. "Now," Kale would say while wiping his hands, "it's nice to meet you both! My name is Kale. What are your names?"

Shen nodded looking at the saiyan as he focused on fishing. Of course someone else was also in the area he turning his head to see the small saiyan who was didn't seem intent on causing any form of trouble. He waved at the woman smiling softly at the young woman, "Welcome it seems there is you can call me Shen Fennel, Detective from South City." He tipped his hat to her before turning as the male saiyan spoke again as he seemed to pull trying to pull out a fish from the lake. He pulled out a large Dark-Green Bass as it splashed around Shen looked over the fish. His eyes were all happy and excited though the fish was terrified of course cause well it had been caught. He removed the hook from the bass Shen watching trying to understand the art it seemed fun enough trying to catch a fish. He pulled a capsule pulling out a cooler and putting the living fish in the cooler. He blinked a couple of times turning his head to the other saiyan before turning back to Kale, "You know that fish is still alive right if your going to put it in the cooler you may want to kill it." He said shaking his head before looking at the woman getting to his feet. "Their a lot of places you can make your home but I’m curious why is this area the place you chose the middle of the woods do you enjoy being in an area away from civilization." He said looking over the woman in saiyan armor. She was an SSE member at least he assumed as she was using the armor of the saiyan armor but maybe she was not. She seemed to be enjoying putting her feet in the water relaxing while Shen stood there maybe that would help with his stress. Putting his feet in the water. He took off his shoes putting them on the ground and rolling up his socks and putting them in his shoes as he walked over dipping his feet into the water. It was cold very cold thought it was not that deep where he was sitting. It was pretty nice and relaxing just dipping his feet maybe he could use the time to think. He’d have to watch all the stuff that was going on and maybe he could have a nice chat and hopefully it let him think everything out and not stress about it.

Takeshii watched as Kale wrestled with the fish, finally getting it out of the water and up on shore. Now the question was, what was he going to do with it. She tried not to laugh, she really did, but soon that sound of her giggle would slip from the Siayan's lips. Though she had been on edge a lot lately, it was nice to actually TRY to relax just a little bit, and it was even nicer to do so without any immediate threat of being attacked...she hoped.
"Ah, my name is Takeshii, though my friends call me Kesh. Oh, I am not EXACTLY planning on building my home here. Just been sort of wandering about from place to place as I do try to decide on where to set it up. There are a lot of places of interest. I was taking a break from looking when I ran across you two."
Her tone was non confrontational as she settled there to watch, her body shifting to stick more of her feet in the water, watching as some of the smaller fish came up to nibble on the soles of her now bare feet. Her gaze would shift to that large bass that Kale had landed, and a brow would raise a moment before she would speak.
"You know, he is right. If your going to put it in the cooler, your going to need to kill it first. Do you have something to kill it with, without causing it to explode...I really do not feel like being covered in fish guts today."
There was a playful twinkle in her eyes as she kept herself planted close, but not too close, not wanting to cause a disturbance, and definitely not wanting to be at a disadvantage should anyone try anything stupid. She watched as Shen joined her in dipping his feet in the water, relaxing just a bit with her, and that seemed to be the theme of the day, at least for now. Her eyes would drift out over the water a moment before she would turn to speak to them again.
"I could always knock it out with my fist if you need me to..."
She gave a bit of a look, showing she did not clearly WANT to do such a thing, but she was willing to sacrifice if it meant that the fish did not have to suffer...right? She would turn a bit, facing Kale, that cooler, and the fish before she would slip to a stand and walk over closer to where he stood. She would sort of shift her gaze from him, to the cooler and back again, waiting to see what exactly he would like to do, if anything at all. Who knew, maybe the man had a thing with wanting to torture defenseless fishies?

A single tear-shaped sweatdrop rolled down the back of Kale's neck. He realized now that both Shen and Takeshii were correct! The Saiyan absent-mindedly slapped his forehead while he offered a sheepish grin to the others. "Oh, silly me. I didn't even know that! It's nice to meet you both, by the way." With a soft chuckle he pulled off his black fingerless gloves. Once he placed them onto the grass, he proceeded to grab the fish by its tail and pull it off of the ice. The Saiyan then inserted his free hand into his pocket and pulled out a knife.
"I have to drain it first," Kale spoke more to himself than to the others. With a precisive cut to the bass's throat, blood began to trickle from the wound and onto the forest floor. The Saiyan watched, focusing on the crimson fluid and learning from the experience. It would most likely take a while for the fish to diminish at this rate. Kale decided that it would be best to pass the time.
"So, Takeshii," he initiated, "I couldn't help but notice that you were a Saiyan. What brought you to Earth, if you don't mind me asking?" Kale's eyes looked toward Takeshii and Shen. He imagined that the water must feel beautiful this time of year. "You're not like most Saiyans that I know, at least as far as I can tell." His focus went to Shen, now. "And you said you were from South City, right Shen? Have you always lived on this planet?"

The Detective tipped his hat to the woman, "Hello Takashi i hope your enjoy your stay." The Detective turned his head she explained she had been looking around but had not any set plans to build here. She was just looking for a spot and she had stopped her when they arrived it seemed it was just all a chance of fate. Kale had seemed to catch on that maybe he should of killed the bass and he seemed quite embarrassed about it. He should of been only an idiot would forget something like that. Then agian it was not fair to call him an idiot maybe he had some practice they didn't know about. He pulled out a knife as he cut the bass's throat causing it to bleed out and die. He left the fish there as to let it drain as the Detective turned his head to look at the saiyan as Kale asked her what brought her to earth before tilting his head back to Kale as he asked him a question. "I've been here for awhile probley longer then you been alive i been around for a long time but i didn't make this planet a place where i spent my free time till i was 45." he didn't look 45 he looked somewhat young maybe a late 20's early 30's. Perhaps they assumed he was some sort of demon or non saiyan or human being by that statement but time would only tell. Takeshii

Takeshii would watch him clean the fish, grateful that the thing was not even suffering any more. That was a good thing right? Then they asked that question and her eyebrows would furrow a moment as she turned her gaze away and stared at the water. She remained quiet for some time, just the sound of the two men, the dead fish, the water, and nature itself. After some time, she finally spoke, her voice coming in a coldness that belied how she had been acting just a little bit ago.
"Revenge."
It was all she could really say about it, it being the truth and all. She had come there with the intention of seeking and destroying a man that had wronged her and her family. However, now she found herself in another situation that made her even more uncomfortable. It disgusted herself that emotions where making her so bloody weak lately. She really needed to get in some more training so that she gain power and be stronger.
"Someone wronged my family...wronged me...so yes, I came here seeking revenge."
She was not stupid enough to name names. Knowing her luck, one or both of these men knew the man she had come here for, and she was not ready to have to defend herself against them. She took a deep breath then, letting her eyes close, though she would keep her ears open, listening to see if either of them decided to take action against her or something. Things where getting out of hand with this, and she was going to have to take care of it soon...very soon.

OOC Note: Don't worry! Life comes first!
By now, the fish was completely drained and put on ice. Takeshii's words caused Kale to be taken aback. Here for revenge? What could have possibly happened to the female Saiyan? At least Shen was on the planet for more benevolent reasons. As it turned out, the Hybrid lived on Earth for a longer period than Kale had.
The Saiyan wiped his hands with a white rag and pulled his gloves back on before he would turn to face Takeshii with a concerned look. "I hope that it's no one I know," he admitted. "But I generally hang around a good crowd. If it's okay for me to ask, who was it that wronged you?"

He paused grabbing a cig and his lighter. "Revenge." Shen repeated after her closing his eyes, "Someone wronged your family." Shen lit his cig putting it in his mouth as a puff of smoke escaped his lips as he looked to the sky. He looked at Kale, "Probley not best to ask." Shen said quietly as he turned his head back looking at the saiyan. "I don't know who or how this person wronged you but i'll give you some pieces of advice." Shen got to his feet water dripping off the skin of his legs. "I've lived for a long time and meet alot of people but i've come the fact you should not seek revenge in a way that will make you do something as horrible as the one that wronged you. I get that though you won't be stopped if you got a hard mindset on dealing some sort of revenge on this person but when and if you succeed i'll ask how it feels because prehaps you'll feel better for a time being and maybe for even a year or two you will the satisfaction of this revenge but in the end you'll get to the same point. The pain will still be there and you've of only ended a life or destroyed one. I don't know what he did as i said but i'd advise whatever you do don't fall into a standard that is below there own." He sat down flicking his lighter as he got out another ciggerate as he got ready to take a second smoke. Takeshii

Takeshii should have known that the moment she mentioned she was there for revenge, that it would trigger their curiosity. At least it did the fellow Saiyan, and she could not blame him. Theirs was a curious nature, and one of the things that often got them into all sorts of trouble. She would sigh then, her gaze shifting out over those waters. Should she tell them? Should she dare to say his name? "Levlidian."The name would slip from her lips, but instead of being pulled from her mouth like venom, there was something else within that tone. A sadness perhaps. A longing for something that had been left behind. Whatever it was, it was there, and there was no denying that fact. However, while she was sitting there deep in thought, she listened to Shen, really listened to Shen. His words made a lot of sense, even if they did sting just a little bit. Takeshii would twist her gaze over to look at Shen, watching the way the smoke coiled from the lit cigarette. She seemed entranced by it at first, or perhaps she was just entranced by the words that came from his mouth. Either way, she remained quiet for a time, just letting her own thoughts, his words slip into her mind and bury themselves there. When he stopped speaking, she would let the silence rest for a time, but when she spoke...there was sadness again in her tone. "How? How do I just let it go?"

The name that Takeshii revealed was not familiar to Kale. "I don't think I've met him," the Saiyan admitted while he closed up the cooler. "But Shen's right. Dedicating your life to revenge can be a dangerous road to walk." Kale then looked to Takeshii with a look of empathy. "I know it sounds blasphemous for me to say that stuff as a Saiyan. But if there's one thing I learned from my parents, is that violent solutions shouldn't be the only solutions."
The Saiyan was speaking from the heart. "I can't speak for you or even begin to understand what's going on within you. And it's not easy to just let things go. Not overnight, anyway. It takes a lot of patience, and a lot of soul searching."

"Lev huh." He put a hand on his chin looking at the woman as he nodded as he sat there as she asked him how she could let it go. The Detective face twisted into one of sadness. He had the answer to many question but how to let go of one's vengeance that was one he didn't know how to answer. He had been following a path of vengeance for 35 years agiasnt zhou sure he didn't want to kill him but he wanted to avenge his friend. The Detective lifted his head, "I'd like to tell you how you let it all go but i don't know honestly....i have someone i want vengeance agiasnt as well. He killed my Best friend and then played puppet with his corpse." The Detective gave a serious look at the two the two saiyans, "this does not leave this camp." The Detective turned his back, "35 years ago my friend zhou was possessed by a demon who proceeded to rip his soul into ribbons you can bring people back with objects sure but once you lose your soul your done. There is no second chance you cease to even exist. I found him and we fought and i did have a chance to end his life. My Pistol barrel pointed at him ki surging through my body as it crossed my mind to kill him and then...everything would be better i could forget all the pain." He put a hand to his face, "I only came close to killing one time in my life and that was the time riding that tight rope between allowing one that had and would do so much harm. I could of saved lives if i made the choice to end his existence right there but i choose not too. I wanted to never go down a path that i'd not come back from. Once my feet sinked into the mud i'd never rise back up. I'd drown my own sins and become my next foe. Vengeance is a path that breeds more and more conflict all i can say to you is to try and find forgiveness understand the actions of those who did what they had. Very few people are just monster who what they do for some sick pleasure."

Takeshii was quite surprised that the other Saiyan was not familiar with Levlidian. Maybe because Levlidian was so well known it seemed. She would give a bit of a shrug to this knowledge. However, it would seem that Shen was familiar with him, as his name fell from Shen's lips with ease. She pondered this for a moment, and then Shen slipped away and began to talk about his own past, his own reason for vengeance so to speak. Kesh would sit quietly there on the side of that water, looking out over it as she listened to the sound of his voice. In many ways, knowing she was not the only one that had her reasons for WHY she came here, it sort of put her at ease. However, the next bit surprised her. The fact that he had realized there was no true purpose or reason for doing what he was wanting to do. The fact that he had kept himself from killing another....it surprised her.
Since her arrival on Earth, she had seen so much fighting, participated in many of them. She had come there with the intention of eradicating all those that were against the SSE. However, even though she had taken out a few, she now felt like there was truly no point in that. She would take a deep breath, resting her chin on her knees for a moment as she pondered everything, her fingers sliding down along her long legs to her ankles. So this was how it was going to be from now on. Her doubting her reasoning, her own actions for what she did or wanted to do.
"Forgiveness? How do you forgive someone who destroyed everything? How do you forgive someone for taking away your hope?"
There was so much confusion in the tone of her voice, and she would feel her eyes well up in tears, even though she struggled to hold them down. She swallowed deeply, no other sounds coming from her lips. She refused to let the others see her weakness. She was not just a rage filled mass like most Saiyan's. No, she had raw, deep emotions that would sometimes surface, and right now they were wanting to do so. Gods this was such a damn struggle.
