Two large doors swung open at the Kami’s lookout, and emerging from it was a blinding white light. Standing in the frame of the door was an adolescent Namekian, not quite an adult but no longer a child. Behind him was a feminine creature that appeared to be made out of darkness, though a satin cloth seemed to spiral and wrap around her body in a constant fluid motion. The Namekian stepped forward, with a white cowl covering his head and a look of seriousness in his eyes. He had a look of duty about him, but who was he? His footsteps echoed and he looked silently upon the lookout, breathing in the fresh air of the high altitude. It would be his new home now, the throne of a king who was a servant.
“I can already feel it, Opal…” the Namekian said as he walked forward from the sacred chamber. “A great pain that I had felt in the south on my very first weeks on this planet has festered, I fear that we do not have much time… the dragon balls will have to wait. I must begin gathering warriors before it is too late.”
“A wise course of action, Kami-Sama,” The onyx skinned beings voice seemed to echo as if it were coming from all sides. “Once we have gathered a few followers, you will be able to concentrate on your traditional duties.”
“Agreed, let us be on our way,” the Namekian said as he began to levitate above the ground. As he did so, he could feel a great pain in his head. He fell back to the ground and landed clutching it in one hand and balancing himself from falling on his other hand. He was one his knee, and he let ou a groan.
“Kami!” the creature known as Opal cried out.
“This feeling, as if a million visions are flooding into my mind…” the Namekian said as he struggled to return to his feet. He looked drained and tired.
“An unfortunate side effect of having your senses honed within the chamber, Kami. It will take some time before you are able to recover from it.” Opal told him.
“I suppose that it isn't safe to go out, I don’t know if I can even truly fly right now... Perhaps someone will sense my presence and return here, although I worry that it may attract the foul as well.”
The namekian said, but as he finished he seemed to fall off of his knee and on to the ground.
He had lost consciousness, as he lay upon the ground his mind seemed to flash back to what had brought him to this point.
