It had been long...Almost too long. Atleast, that's how it felt. Stress and impatience made time seem to slow down to a pained crawl. Space-travel really wasn't the most bombastic, exciting experience after you've gotten used to it. Everywhere looked the same, and you were stuck on your ship for the entire travel...Or, even worse- those cramped, dingy spacepods the SSE loved so much, for whatever reason. What idiot would actually prefer those things? They're so tiny! Claustrophobic! Uncomfortable!- BORING!
Thank whatever deity that Kaza was able to afford herself an SSE approved spaceship. One that actually held enough room for her and her comrade to walk around in, and sleep comfortably. The ship- The Cosmic Falcon, was quite the beauty, really. It almost looked like a high-tech, purple space submarine! Without the torpedos, of course. Oh- and the best thing about it? The TV! Kaza could travel across the entire galaxy and still have movies leftover to watch!
This trip only lasted so long, though. Kaza, along with Ymir, were headed straight toward Konats. She had heard about this planet from her caretakers, after she expressed her crushing boredom on Vegeta. Her caretakers feared that she'd snap again if she wasn't allowed to do anything, figuring it was a good plan to send her away. ''Just don't do anything REALLY stupid, please.'' Is all they actually told her. Surely, she'd follow that advice...Right?
Her ship was about to enter the atmosphere. It felt really exciting, visiting another planet she'd never seen for the first time! Kaza's mind wandered to all of the things she'd hope to see here, and people she'd hope to fight against! (And eat, of course. She was terribly hungry.) It was a shame Ymir couldn't experience the landing with her, though. Her friend was ''Hibernating'', whatever that meant. Kaza figured it was just a fancy word for sleeping.
The landing was much smoother and less destructive in comparison to the shitty landings Spacepods used to have linked with them. The Cosmic Falcon slowly lowered itself to the Konatsian grounds, a large, imposing SSE logo plastered on the ship's sides. Its jets made a metric shitton of noise from all the power it held behind it, which slowly began to lower as the ship began stabilizing. A latch near the bottom of the ship opened, slamming into the sandy grounds, creating a ramp of sorts. Out came the majin, Kaza, carrying an excited, giddy grin on her face. She paused in the sand, only a few feet from her ship, and breathed in deeply. ''Wow, this planet's so...!'' Kaza paused, eyes panning around the large horizon.
Nothing but sand.
Hooray.
''...Boring...''

[Thread Power Level: 34’614/138'455 | Weights in use] [Power Suppressed] The desert sky was dotted with clouds here and there, as a lone saiyan warrior made her way through the market of the alien world. She had just come from the space port, not but an hour ago. She’d made her first purchase, with some of the funds from her recent contract. A new space pod, made from a perplexed shipwright. See, most people were of the mind that these pods were far from comfortable, and weren’t the transport of choice to most of the galaxy. But perhaps that was just because he didn’t grow up in the empire. But the warrior tended to favor them, as they allowed for unique modifications due to their small size. But the warrior had little time to think on her new purchase, as her scouter beeped loudly, giving her what she considered to be the worst alert it was capable of. "Inbound Imperial Vessel, B-Class."Had people finally tracked her down? It wouldn’t have been hard, what with her old pod nearly broken beyond repair when she left, practically screaming Imperial IFF codes as she went. Her fist clenched as she looked up to the sky where her scouter was indicating the vessel was. It was far beyond what the naked eye could see, and if not for her having tuned her scouter for identifying such craft coming in. Have they finally found me?Her thoughts whirred around her head as she began to pick up her pace gradually. At first it was a brisk walk, the a jog, and finally a full force sprint. She had to get a closer look at who, or what, had come to the desert planet, and if it was actually after her. When she’d come to the edge of the city, and passed through the main gates, she shot upwards into the sky, flying across the desert, sure to keep her power suppressed so that she’d be nigh impossible to detect from a scouter. * * * It hadn’t been more than twenty minutes when she arrived to the landing site of the large vessel. It was definitely a B-class, not a war ship, more a transport. Perhaps they aimed to take Vennel in alive, she thought? Or perhaps this was just a coincidence, and she was being overly paranoid. She certainly hoped for the latter. But the confusing part was she’d recently received the call back message for Imperial personnel. So what was this ship doing here? She saw an alien step out, and it seemed somewhat familiar to her. Come to think of it, that dirtying that came to Vegeta those years ago had something similar in tow with him. But this one was wearing the Imperial armor of a Saiyan? Her scouter seemed to report nominal power levels coming from the vessel, namely the one who’d stepped out. But she knew better, they could have been masking their power or merely weighed down, as she often was. No matter, she’d find the reason for this trespass on Konats one way or another. Lowering herself to the ground, some thirty-odd feet from the the alien, the warrior looked “her,” over. She seemed to have an almost child-like demeanor, which puzzled her quite a bit. “ The Empire, on Konats? You know the people here don’t take kindly to Saiyans and their allies here, right? Not after the breach of the treaty. You’re lucky I came across you first, tell me, what brings you here?” Her tone was flat, and to the point. She did her best not to betray any concern she had, and she certainly didn’t want to seem authoritarian, and risk setting the alien off, for risk of the fall out that may ensue. But all the same, her curiosity was piqued, and she couldn’t do a thing to quench it.

The majin let out a brief sigh. Sure, there was probably more to this planet than the sandy wasteland that was her landing site...But, you know... She couldn't really leave yet. Ymir would surely freak out if she woke up while Kaza was gone. And then again, just leaving her unguarded seemed like a terrible decision too. Not like it really mattered, right? They'd been waiting so, so long to arrive someplace where they could actually quench their boredom- 5, 10 more minutes wouldn't matter on top of that.
As the Majin moved her hand to try and get a read of her surroundings via her scouter, something else caught her eye. A distant figure, lowering themselves from the distance. Looks like her noisy landing didn't go by unnoticed! And Kaza was just thinking she'd be spending all of that time alone, this was great! Whilst the stranger was speaking, Kaza moved her hand toward her scouter. The contraption began focussing on her, zooming in and getting all of the information she could get. A low, laughable Power Level, yet it was quite obvious she was a Saiyan...With her looks and all.
She was quite the suspicious one, something Kaza always found irritating. The majin crossed her arms, brow furrowing with a hum. ''But- you're a Saiyan too! That mean they also hate you..?''
Kaza was silent for a good moment, before shaking her head, letting out another sigh. Raising her head, her expression turned into a more friendly, inviting one. ''Pffft- no, I'm kiddin'! We're here to kick ass and chew bubblegum!'' She paused, briefly. ''And I'm all out of gum...'' Kaza explained, before stuttering. She looked her own body over, then back to the Saiyan. ''Uh- sorta.'' It all sounded innocent enough, and definitely had that Saiyan-esque fighting spirit behind it, albeit somewhat more informal. She looked excited enough about it all, but she had no intention of swapping fists with the lady Saiyan before her. She'd never hurt people affiliated with the Empire, that was against her self-imposed rules. Even if she might've not been a part of the Empire, Kaza could only assume as much. ''The only people's asses we're not allowed to kick are innocents and Empire peeps! So- like you, right?''
She smiled innocently, taking a couple of steps forward without any caution. All that distance between them didn't exactly give her a warm feeling. As far as Kaza knew, any Saiyan that wore that type of clothing was part of the Empire. She could've been horribly wrong, there was always the chance that she was an enemy, and potentially hostile. Not like Kaza knew, though. Or cared, for that matter.

Listening to the gummy-alien speak, she (if it was indeed a ‘she’) seemed to have, indeed, a child-like demeanor. A click of her own tongue in disappointment was all she had to show for it, though.
Tch, so they just let anyone into the army? Maybe they’ve fallen on hard times. But still, this one has a good deal of power, so perhaps that is what her merit is. Though, one would think she’d have handlers nearby, or at least a squad leader, to prevent problems.
Her thoughts spoke to herself as she observed and listened as the Majin, as she knew them to be called, spoke on. But one little thing was what stood out to her, which caused Vennel’s eyebrow to arch. They weren’t to attack “innocents?” What?! Since when did the Empire make such distinctions. Hopefully it was a poor turn of phrase, but if that weren’t, then they had really gotten far too soft. It was like the ministry all over again.
Vennel’s jaw clenched, until her conversation partner seemed to be waiting on the saiyan for a reply. With a deep breath, the warrior calmed herself as best she could, her expression stoic once more as she nodded.
“Yes and no. Most hate me, yes. But I haven’t done them any harm, so most tolerate me at best. Besides, my money spends the same as everyone elses’. But if you’re here to attack people, as much as I’d like to just let you lay waste to the miserable people of this world, I can’t allow that. I have… plans for it.”
She spoke, as her mind turned to thoughts of Alaistair and their bargain. She couldn’t let that go sour, not until she’d reached her goals. Her eyes turned toward the ship behind her guest and wondered when whoever else was inside would step out. She knew they were there, as her scouter, and recently acquired ability to sense ki, told her. But so far, it seemed they were content to keep to themselves.
“But, if you’re spoiling for a fight, I may have an idea. Your battle powers… they seem rather low, are you merely keeping your full strength disguised, perhaps? You’d not last very long trying to start trouble with power that low.”
She hoped she might coax the purple fleshed alien into revealing more of her strength. It’d make for a good measuring stick as to what they might be able to do. Perhaps they’d be able to help her with something.

Boredom... Boredom had engulfed the Bio-Android in space, that was why she forced herself into hibernation. Just staying inside of her room while keeping the freezing on until her natural body sent her into a deep, deep sleep. Of course, this wasn't permanent. She slowly began to awaken in her chambers, noticing a lack of space outside of the portcullis. She noticed the sand, and sun glowing outside of her window, filled with extreme excitement over what could be gained, or killed on this new planet! What was it called again? Koh-Nahts? Konats? She couldn't fully remember before she burst through the door, letting her Ki flare, before making it to the exit. "WOOOHOOOO LET'S KILL SOME SH- Oh hey there Kaza. And who is that?" Ymir would loudly say as she burst into the air of the alien planet. Her bulging pinkish pulp and marrow burned and sizzled when in contact with the scorching sun, looking like an inside out human or saiyan body. Her multiple sets of circulating organs on the exterior pumped hard, trying to make up for lost time from her homeostasis. "So, what are we allowed to kill. I am really bored and those damned saiyans weren't letting me eat their civilians... I probably shouldn't have either, but Shukaku was difficult... and the bodies were right there... What the hell am I talking about?" Ymir questioned. "Who is this?" She spoke, pointing at the Saiyan like a child with curiosity.

The saiyan who approached Kaza seemed to be quite the stoic, bland type. Something she'd gotten used to, as Saiyans tended to be more of the 'No fun and all seriousness' types. Usually, these people would upset her quite easily, yet her bias towards the saiyans and people affiliated with them softened the irritations quite easily. Kaza wasn't quite sure why she seemed to be so suspicious, yet didn't pay it much thought.
Once she began talking again, however, Kaza's interest was piqued. It seemed the saiyan had quite the dislike for the natives here after all, and wasn't actually here to 'Protect' them. She had a plan, though...But what? ''...Plans...? Ohoho...Ominous!'' Kaza chirped in reply, quite amused by it all. If this Saiyan's plans included Ymir and herself being able to go wild on some of the people, Kaza would definitely be happy to assist her!
It seemed she was quite suspicious of their lack of power, however. Kaza would be the first one to admit, the two definitely weren't no Super soldiers, Ymir even moreso. Yet, she was certain they'd be just fine! Perhaps ignorant of her to think, yet she couldn't help it. It's been a while since anyone has really shown just how weak she actually was. Ignorance is bliss, after all. ''Pppfft. We're plenty strong! Atleast, I am.'' Kaza told her with a wave of her hand, amused.
She presented her arms toward the Saiyaness, trying to drag her attention toward her wrists. ''I'm just weighed down, is all!'' Kaza was happy to announce that she wasn't anywhere near her maximum right now, presenting futuristic wristbands attached to herself. The light-grey contraptions had a couple of lit-up lines trailing through its crevices, glowing with a light-green hue. ''They're stupidly heavy, but it helps to get st-...!?''
A familiar voice sounded behind her. Surely, this could only mean one thing...! Ymir- she woke up again! Kaza's smile pointed straight to the skies, her entire posture changing into a much more excited one. ''Ymir! You're up! Oh- oh! This is...er, a friend! She told me she might've got a plan for the people here, we should help!'' Kaza's head glanced over toward the saiyan, eyes somewhat curious and questioning. She smacked her lips, and let out a brief hum. ''Uhh- sorry, but what's your name? Mine's Kaza, and this is Ymir.'' She gestured over toward her friend, before pausing. Kaza crossed her arms, an amused grin forming on her face. ''Anyway- What's this plan you were talking about? It sounds like it could be fun!''

beep.

Vennel’s head remained still, as her eyes darted up, following the signal from her scouter that read the life energy from the ship. She could hear the majin girl speak, and understood what she said, as she was still paying attention to her. But her eyes were watching the formerly inert signature start to move. It was coming towards the vessel’s landing ramp as well. She’d finally get a peak at whatever this lower power signature was.
It was good to know, she noted, that the girl was weighted down. So she had at least a competent power level, at least. Perhaps even close to her own when she’d killed the ministers two years ago.
But then, that was when she saw it. A very strange creature, that appeared to be more inside-out than in. It spoke, however. And it seemed to possess an admirable blood lust. Perhaps it was some new alien species in the empire? It certainly looked intimidating. But it’s power level was very low. But she figured it must be similarly equipped as the majin girl. The creature, introduced as Ymir, continued inquiring about what was okay to kill. Venne grinned, just as she’d similarly been asked for her name.
“My name is Vennel. And if you want something to kill, maybe you two can help me with something. However, it does involve a good deal of discretion. It will be well worth the effort, and you may just get recognition with the Empire for it. So,”
She paused, half for dramatic effect, and half because she wanted to be sure she couldn’t feel anyone who might make this difficult nearby. It seemed Alaistair and Plato weren’t nearby, so she figured she was safe to continue talking.
“You two want in?”

"So, Vennel, you are offering for us to join you on some sort of mission I assume. I am totally for it, especially if the higher ups like me better for it. I hated getting looks of disgust... maybe if I rocket to the top... Nah, ignore me. But I am completely for it!" Katherine spoke aloud, wondering what Kaza might say. Kaza was likely to join along, considering the implications of such a thing, plus recognition. What was the hate? She slowly walked down to the planet's surface, stepping against the sand for a moment, before getting disgusted by the sudden increase in heat, and freaked slightly, jumping up and back onto the ramp. She had never felt such a heat... was it always like this here? She quickly moved some biomass from her feet to the edges, giving her less room to be burned before a small wisp of noise could be heard behind them. A small gust of black smoke imitated from the ship as if slowly came down, floating down from the ship's hull. It was a kitten, missing it's lower back which was now dripped a thick black smoke. It was wiping it's eye, clearly just having woken up, before looking down upon the people below while barely out of sight. "What is going on down there... What is Ymir doing with that Saiyan. HEY YMIR, GIVE AUNT SOME SUGAR WHILE I FIGURE OUT WHERE THE HELL WE ARE" The ghost would yell loudly down at the group before rushing over and sitting on the Bio-Android's shoulder. "Oh, yeah. This is Lizbeth. She is dead. By the way, speaking of... You were quick to get us on your side? Aren't you going to question us at all? I have lungs and a heart hanging off of my chest-" Ymir said before gripping the heart circulating in the pulp and meat over her breast. "-Usually people ask me what the hell I am, yet you didn't bother... Sorta like Kaza to be entirely honest"

The majin couldn't help but snicker at the saiyan, Vennel's, offer. She clapped her hands together, somewhat softly, rubbing them in a cliché, sinister way. Kaza bared her teeth, a wide, ominous grin on her face. ''Ohoho! Discreet?! Like a super secret mission, eh? Awesome...!'' She then resumed her casual pose, face flicking over to Ymir's figure as she stated to happily want to help out Vennel. Well, if Ymir was going, Kaza had to as well. She couldn't just leave her dear friend behind, now, could she?
And even then, a secret mission sounded like it could be pretty heckin' cool. All they had to do was help Vennel, and Vennel would give them people to eat up as a nice, juicy snack! It was too good of an offer to refuse, really. ''Alrighty-o! Sounds like a deal, then~'' The majin mused happily. If she was any smarter than she ACTUALLY was, there should've been some suspicion. Luckily- if not, conveniently, though...She wasn't that smart- at all. Kaza had always been as gullible as can be, and that wasn't going to change anytime soon.
Suddenly though, something completely different happened. Almost completely random, it seemed. Some weird, black, yelling ghost-cat? ''What the space f*ck is that?'' Kaza muttered, before Ymir explained. After she did, Kaza just stood there for a second, blinking awkwardly. ''Oohh- that explains it...! I...Guess?'' She didn't remember bringing this thing onto her ship...Did she?
Whatever, though, it didn't seem to be bothering Ymir or her, and looked nice enough. Certainly was kinda surreal, but as long as it wasn't being a jerk, Kaza would let it live.
Ymir had a good point as well- at least she was smart enough to be SOMEWHAT suspicious and questioning about all of this. Why DID Vennel just...Casually shrug and let them aboard on her secret plan? Most people were quite...Wary, of the two. Kaza crossed her arms lazily, not thinking much of the whole situation in her own mind. Honestly, she was just glad the nice Saiyan was kind enough to let them tag along. ''Eh, don't worry about it! We'll be fiiine.'' Kaza told her with a casual shrug. She then turned to Vennel, excitement twinkling in her eyes. ''So, boss, ready to give us the 'deets?'' Kaza asked, giving her a sly wink.

A toothy grin wormed its way onto her face, as she heard resounding agreements from the two. Though, curiously, the insidious creature seemed perplexed that Vennel saw nothing remotely odd to her. Or rather her reaction was as if there was nothing odd. A simple shrug, punctuated her words as she spoke.
“Well, I’ve been around the galaxy- so an alien like yourself, while admittedly different, doesn’t shock me too much. I once wiped out a race of desert dwelling crustacean-esque shrimp people.”
She paused after that, wondering to herself what she was saying. I mean, sure she’d talked with Alaistair a bit about food and cuisines from planet dirt. So maybe that’s where she got it from. But these weren’t ‘saiyan,’ things. Had she changed so much in this relatively short time? She was also advocating for sparing certain people on the planet, when just a year ago she may have been here to sate her own blood lust.
But shaking those thoughts from her head, she decided to keep her introspections to a minimum. They were becoming far too frequent, and she worried she’d start looking like a spaz who couldn’t keep her focus for more than five minutes.
But before she could resume speaking, a small phantasmal creature called “Lizbeth,” and boy, what an… “interesting,” character it was. Sure, it was a dead friend of hers, supposedly, but that didn’t change the oddity of the situation. All the warrior could manage was a simple nodding of her head, mouth agape as she watched the curious scene before her. Just what had she done, in recruiting this colorful cast of craziness?
But Kaza’s words shook the shock out of Vennel, as she composed herself again. She cleared her throat, coughing into her closed hand. Right, the details- that’s what she needed to go on about. With any luck, grounding the conversation might bring an air of seriousness to the task at hand? Though, for some reason, the dark haired woman thought it might not help quite so much.
“Very well, the details. Well, on this planet, there are a group of people calling themselves the ‘Kashvar,’ or some such. Generally disliked by the public here, and powerful in their own right. Our objective is a simple one, we kill them all.
“Our goal, and this is the discretionary portion: is to use this victory as a means to repair our relations with the people of Konats since the Empire broke the treaty with them. We don’t need this world joining the myriad of enemies facing the Empire in it’s fragile state. Unless it’s given chance to consolidate itself, I estimate the Empire will dissolve or be so weak that it can never recover in one year’s time. That is unless, it plays smart in the mean time.”
She didn’t, quite frankly, care much to hear from the apparition that made itself known to them. As much as it had a valid power level, clocking in at no higher than she did when she graduated the academy, it was far from a useful number that could truly help their endeavors. So as a result of her dismissal, she glanced between the two she began talking with originally, who she would be hopefully counting on in the next few days.

"So, we will be killing this... Kashvar? Sounds good, though I have a question." Ymir would say, before Lizbeth the specter would float around and around the people, analyzing Vennel as well as Kaza. Ymir would direct herself towards Vennel, walking towards her and offering a handshake. "It is a little odd for Saiyans of the empire to be out here. Did you not get the call for Vegeta? Word has it that things are getting out of hand with planet Namek." Ymir has managed to keep up to date with the goings of the empire while they were still on Vegeta. She was confused as to why a sympathizer hadn't visited Vegeta, unless she had and they had never met while there. "I apologize for the questions. It is just something I am prone to. Blame my age" She laughed, "I am with you on this. Just tell me when and where and you have me ready to kill some stuff! Though, warning, if any of these... Kashavr, are anywhere near as powerful as those saiyans back on Vegeta, I might be as helpful as a bag of puppies."After a moment of quickly spanning the area, Lizbeth had finished initializing the mental connection with everyone in the small area, now able to use her telepathic messages to contact them, she would be seen floating to the ship and flying into an exhaust vent to not be seen besides her exit speech. "I will be taking a nap. If you see any massive green men, tell me. Namorel owes me.""Who the hell is a Namorel... Anyway, that is all I need to know. They location, the time, and the threat. Let's save the empire! Also, I'm sorta tired from this heat... I may take a nap."

The female majin looked on curiously at Vennel, wondering what could possibly be so important that she'd need to clear her throat for. That was the sign of ultra-serious stuff! Was this mission THAT important? Kaza had no doubt about it- and felt very excited at the thought!
She listened on and on as Vennel talked and talked...Lots of big words came from her mouth, they did. Words Kaza needed a while to translate inside of her head- some she just left out, not able to find the definition inside of her peanut-sized head for the life of her. The majin could be seen visibly thinking, muttering incoherently to herself as she seemed to be mapping stuff out inside of her head, fingers tracing the air around her.
Kaza paused, blinking twice, before shaking her head as if she was daydreaming. Admittedly, she was- her mind completely trailing off towards unimportant stuff regarding food. Boy, was she hungry... Ymir's verbal intervention seemed to shake her out of her rampant thoughts, though, bringing her mind back to the important stuff. Right- right, that was the most important bit: Killing those Cash-Fares! Kaza nodded her head in a serious, formal way- agreeing to whatever Ymir had said. Namek, or something? Probably something about the green people... ''Pshh, we can deal with 'em later! I'm hungry as heck, and I'm not leaving until I get a nice and juicy snack!'' Kaza said out loud, puffing her cheeks up like a stubborn kid.
Her attention was caught by the cat-ghost thing circling around her, trying to analyze her or something...? Suspicious, weirded-out eyes followed the thing as it seemed to do the same to Vennel, before it decided to just...Leave.
Well, okay then...
Kaza looked back, shrugging visibly at Vennel. Seriously, where did that thing come from...?! ''Uhh- anyway...'' Kaza paused, trying to focus on the topic at hand. ''So, where are these jerks?! Think we can take 'em on?! I'm pumped!'' Kaza exclaimed excitedly, hopping in place with a hyped-up grin on her face, stretching from ear to ear.

Nodding along, she was pleased to hear overall that the two were willing to cooperate. She’d half expected them to take more convincing but was pleasantly surprised to find she didn’t need to. Ymir, however, was in compliance, but wanted to ask a few questions, that much was understandable.
But her questions seemed to be less about the mission, and more so about the Empire. This brought a soured look to her face, as she quickly tried to brush off the despondence and shrugged away.
“Yes, I got the call. I haven’t returned, though. I’m not entirely welcome there either, last I checked. Not much left in the galaxy for a warrior like me I guess.”
While not the happiest tid-bit to share, she seemed to handle it well enough by maintaining an even-keel tone of voice. She then also made not to shake her head in response to Ymir’s apologies. Questions were good, in this situation anyways. It wasn’t as though Vennel were her superior officer or anything.
“No apologies necessary. The kashvar are…. different, to say the least. They employ magic, instead of typical energies. You can’t really measure them, some may be more powerful, others may not be. But they are deceptively powerful in their own right, so it’s wise to be careful when dealing with them. Or so I’ve heard, anyways.”
But noting the alien’s spectral companion, as it spoke about large green people and something called ‘Namorel?’ At any rate, she wrote it off as being another strange character trait of the creature. Where as the majin, was more ready to go, and even seemed to be hungry. She doubted she could just bring them to Alaistair’s place, at least not yet.
“Not to worry. Set your scouter frequencies to 267.5, I’ll contact you with the place and time. For now, get yourselves acquainted with the area, see how you enjoy it. And try not to cause too much trouble.”
Vennel then slowly rose into the air, her eyes watching the two below. She hoped they’d be able to take care of themselves. If they couldn’t, maybe they’d starve to death out here, or she’d be forced to fight them into submission at a later time. But for now, this was something of a training situation, or a test. To see if they had what it took to survive much as she had. If so, they may be ready, or so she thought. After gaining a decent amount of altitude, she took off, flying back towards Ocariin city.
