How much had gone by since the Frostar sailed across the stars? How much time had been sunk in on this Planet, to secure an alliance that had been deprived? Koldar had been pondering these two questions for the course of a month or so, ever since the arrival of Retsu and confirming the livelihood of former Empress Wyntre! The Commander had to leave the area to keep his still recovering heart in check, as he was under doctor's orders to keep calm. However, during that time after, Commander Koldar had gotten to strengthening his heart with intense cardio-based exercises that his 2nd, Voca, had spotted and motivated him with. Wavr, Koldar's doctor, meanwhile gave him some supplements to clean out his Arcosian blood that were made from the data Wavr gathered on Azguard's cleansing process! It wasn't nearly perfected yet, requiring perhaps another year in order to do it, but it was a start.
Koldar had been outside, upon his ship, which was stationed in the middle of the Gizard Wasteland. One of his men from engineering had collaborated with the requisition sector of the ship and had designed a new weighted body armor for Koldar, as a means of testing it out for the future production for the rest of Koldar's soldiers! While Koldar wanted to find it aggravating that his crew was making him a guinea pig for these projects of theirs, the Commander was in too good a mood today. Today was the day that he'd take some of those that were present at the meeting with Retsu, the current emperor of the empire, and get off this rock!
The commander was performing a handstand atop this ship with one hand that would alternate after becoming achy for an hour. It wasn't nearly his best, but the fact he could do so for that extended period with each was proving satisfactory. Koldar's green scouter had been upon his ear socket, waiting for the arrival of those who were there. However, if Wyntre were to arrive, he would see to it that she be removed from the premises! Voca had been nearby, sitting on a chair under a beach umbrella, to hide away from the blaring afternoon sun! Clouds, however, were present, suggesting that there may have been approaching rain or snow, depending on if the temperature dropped later that night or not.
"So, Koldar," Voca asked, cracking his back over the surprisingly sturdy chair with a stretch of his body, "When're we supposed to be headed out again?"
"A few hours. Probably when this planet's sun sets," Koldar stammered his explanation, having been keeping his breath under check.
"Mm... Alright."
(Arcosian Empire soldiers on Earth! If you wish to come to Arcose and begin preparations to return the Empire to its glory, come to this thread! We're gonna be having a bit of a meeting before we head out! I'm going to give this thread a week's time before having it come to a close, so if you want to get affiliated and be able to head to there, now's the time to come!)

Verst recalled Koldar mentioning he was going to Arcose, he hadn't been back since the Tree had apparently fallen. He wasn't a particularly patriotic person, but nostalgic he was. He recalled every tavern and bar within the port district, occasional drinks with the crew, all reminiscing on past raids. He missed it you could say. He wouldn't admit it but he wouldn't mind heading back there.
So, he traveled to the place Koldar spoke of in hopes of catching a ride to Arcose, Possibly purchasing a ship there and flying back. Verst descended towards the Arcosian ship, noticing the two figures, he hailed them as he approached. "So is this the ship to Arcose." Verst looked around admiring the ship. "Anyone else expected?" Verst once again looked around scanning for more figures.

Several more hours passed, nearing the deadline before Koldar and his entire crew would leave for Arcose. While the trip wouldn't be lonely for them, having a new face or two aboard would've made things more lively. Voca had fallen asleep, snoring, while Koldar had stopped balancing to relax in the spreading shade from Voca's umbrella, lying in the shade. The commander was becoming increasingly disappointed with the nearing deadline and no one else showing. Did they not care for their homeworld and Empire anymore? A slightly familiar presence nearing them, though, dismissed the worry! The new person approached the two from above, greeting them and asking if they were heading to Arcose. The Commander stood up, responding with a grunt, "Yes... Yes we are!"The commander cracked his back, before giving the young Arcosian before them a greeting smile! Voca, meanwhile, seemed to remain asleep, despite the scouter having been beeping. Koldar whipped the Heran's shin with his tail, waking the groggy Heran. Voca took a moment to wake and realize that they weren't alone. The moment he did, Voca loudly greeted him, "My apologies! This old body's not so aware, it seems! Welcome to the Frostar, battlecruiser of the Arcosian Empire.""Now that my second is awake," Koldar noted, looking at Voca before returning to the young man, "We hadn't acquired your name before... Weren't really able to focus on introductions, what with that snake, Wyntre, being there! I am commander Koldar Frost, commander of the vessel you're standing upon. What is yours, young man?"( Verst)

“This planet seems to bear more fruit than any I am familiar with,” said the virtual voice of Hiem-L-01, Arcosian Android and loyal creation of the Empire as he marched a militant march across the wastes. Optical sensors had taken in the various hues and saturations that Earth had to offer – a hike across many a landscape, familiar or otherwise. This was nothing like the chill and barren landscape of Arcose, nor Yardrat’s strange geology, but it was certainly not too hard to navigate. Admittedly, being able to fly or have other means of transport across the worldly mileage would have been more efficient, but the mechanical marvel was not yet capable of such things. Instead, he had made do with a slow, sleepless and tireless walk across what must have been hundreds of kilometres by now.
He considered it a form of training.
“Should we visit Earth again, I will be more than prepared for the geographical format of the planetary surface,” the prototype assessed with cool confidence, “but now I must return to Arcosian territories and continue my sworn duties… I also am not entirely sure as to why I have been talking aloud when there is nobody of import present. I may need to undergo a diagnostic review when I return as this is somewhat inefficient.”
Something gleamed in the distance. The architecture was immediately recognisable as something of Arcosian craftsmanship – a vessel to fare the starry seas of the cosmos and transport military forces across the vast and inky aether. It was, as most people would know it as, a spaceship. Not ceasing his movements, the Arcosoid adjusting his heading slightly and made towards the craft, assuming that this would be his ticket home. If not, it was worth investigating, for it was a sign of imperial activities in the area.
Vessel Identified: Frostar – Battlecruiser. Captained by Commander Koldar Frost… Upon his glazed façade, Hiem-L brought up various holographic images of schematics and data files, analysing each and every one as he sought at particular titbits of vital data. This was nothing short of a cosmonautical masterpiece, under the ownership of a strong member of the Arcosian Empire’s military forces – a man with whom the Arcosoid had met already at Restu’s call. Now, he surmised, was a good time to talk directly with a driving force behind the security of the imperial regime.
“Attention,” 01 paused at the foot of the ship, looking up at it: “I am Hiem-L-01. I request an audience with Commander Frost!”
Hiem-L-01 arrives on the scene!

"My name is Verst" he spoke confidently, bowing his head, observing the two, One obviously Arcosian, the other his 'second' confused Verst. "What are you?" he asked with genuine curiosity. "It's been so long since I've been back to Arcose. Will be good to see it again." he reminisced
Suddenly an android showed up, declaring an audience with Koldar, Androids are strange ones, Verst thought. "Hiem-L eh? I'm Verst, and you're welcome for Koldar's company." Verst backed away slightly allowing the two some form of privacy.

The sun had set, with the stars quickly coming into view. Verst, as he was called, question what Voca was. The hardy Heran gave a laugh, and a pound on the chest as he told him, "I am a Heran, young man! A proud warrior race is what we Herans are!"Verst mentioned seeing Arcose once more, with the two nodding and Koldar speaking up, "Aye, it will be. It is a shame, however, we won't be joined by anyo-"A voice, robotic-like in nature, spoke up to the ship loudly and cut the Commander off! The three made their way over, Voca wondering whom it was aloud. When they go to the edge of the ship and landed on the ground, the two saw that it had been the Android with the Emperor. The sneaky bastard got within range of their ship undetected, even with Voca manning the scouter for any threats! "Of all the-""Now hang on, Voca," Koldar interrupted, "This guy's an ally of ours, so we can't get angry immediately. How about you get the ship prepared to launch, while I talk with this one? Now... I am here, android! Why are you on Earth still, while Retsu is out in the reaches? I can barely sense his energy from all the way out here, but I can tell he's not on this rock!"What story would this android tell them? Why were they away from Retsu? ( Hiem-L)

“Hiem-L, eh?” questioned Verst.
“Affirmative,” the Android responded, waiting patiently for the Commander’s own presentation. Sure enough, he did not have to wait all that long, for the familiar form of Koldar Frost made itself known. As too did the fiery-headed second. The imperial officer was stern in his query and statements, which 01 could tell as he observed facial features in motion – a curious thing that he lacked for himself. Stress modules served to limit the motions of synthetic musculature hidden beneath a skin of alloy and plastic, but the fact of the matter was that he lacked any form of typical body language. While unnerving, it was more efficient than having to waste power on controlling such degrees of purely aesthetic hardware.
“I am well aware of that fact, Commander. It was in my interest to map the geographical features of this planetary body,” the Arcosoid answered honestly. “I was given the opportunity to do so at my leisure, though it appears Emperor Retsu left before I could return to his ship. I have since assumed that important matters have arisen to which he must attend. I would much rather have returned with him, given my purpose, but I cannot change that now.”
Hiem-L’s mechanical tail swept gently as he spoke.
“I have walked an approximate distance of fourteen thousand Terrestrial units – kilometres, I believe they are named,” said the streamlined sentinel, displaying a simple grid map upon his inky façade for Koldar to see. Upon it, a blue line marked the landing site of the Emperor’s transport, following unseen contours to his current coordinates. In a blink, the map disappeared, replaced once more with simplistic markings that hinted towards an idea of a face. “With your permission, I would like to return to Arcosian space as soon as the Frostar is feasibly capable of. And, if allowable, I would like to make use of any training facilities that the vessel has during transit. I am a sworn protector of the Emperor, but my current estimations of power place me far below what I believe is needed of me.”
Hiem-L-01 has walked 500 miles, 500 more, and then some!

Listening to their conversation, Hiem-L appeared to have some information, Verst would like to get his hands on. Verst came up with the most logical way to get the map, cleanly and with perhaps benefits to both of them. "Hiem-L..." Verst spoke clearing his throat "Say, could I get a copy of that map for say... some training with you on the ship? If Koldar agrees of course." Verst looked over to him for confirmation.
Verst looked towards the Heran "I'm not that young... my size deceives, but it does for most Arcosians. I've been in my fair share of fights." He spoke confidently. "Might we board Koldar?" Verst asked hesitantly

"Mapping the world," Koldar questioned, clasping his hands together, "Excellent! We can compile our information with your own information so that Retsu may be able to use it. Unfortunately, it won't include any others coming aboard other than you two, but I'm quite sure the crew'll enjoy having two new faces aboard! We'll also talk about training later on, but we won't be able to use the information of the maps to replicate environments we'll be going into in the chamber. It's still need to get fully tuned up since the last time it was used!"Voca had made his way inside the grand ship, with Koldar coming aboard. He signalled the two to come on board, asking them, "I don't suppose either of you have met a Heran named Gekido, have you? He was a recruit in training and hasn't reported back in months. If you haven't, don't worry about it... We've spent enough time on this dirt planet. It's time to return home!"( Hiem-L, Verst shall we close here? Whoever is last, they initiate the launch of the ship into orbit.)

"Let's head off then I suppose" Verst declared, he headed onto the ship, admiring the crew and the atmosphere of being back on a working warship. He inhaled deeply. "This just feels right. "Gekido? No idea. Training sounds great however." He continued
"So where's the passenger area, or are we being treated to the bridge." Verst spoke to no one in particular but was hoping for a response. He found his way to a vacant seating area and rested.

“I am proud to be of assistance,” Hiem-L-01 replied as Koldar rattled on about the map. Service to the Emperor was paramount and it certainly seemed as if the Commander’s intent was to offer every ounce of aid he could – a promising correlation. Verst approached again, posing an interesting query, but again the Frostar’s charge was quick to reply. In a sense it was disappointing that the prototype could not use what data he had gathered to train in a physical sense, but at least he could rely upon virtual reality scenarios to compensate and plan ahead for any future Terrestrial visits. So far, Earth had seemed relatively peaceful, save for the odd specimen of fauna that treated anything nearby as hostile.
Animals were strange.
“I don’t suppose either of you have met a Heran named Gekido, have you?” the Commander asked, gesturing for the synthetic sentinel and his organic comrade to board in his wake. Without hesitation, 01 did just that, finding a strange degree of comfort in being surrounded by the alien alloys of the Frostar’s grand hull. For a moment he considered, searching through many a terabyte of stored data at the behest of Koldar. Data on the Heran race was decent, including a standard entry on the ship’s second-in-command, Voca, which was as of yet marked as incomplete. Hopefully he would have time to garner fresh and useful information on the goliath.
“Negative,” Hiem-L answered: “I have no recorded data on this ‘Gekido’.”
Hrrrrmmm… Not a moment too soon did the Frostar’s engines kick into gear, quiet and yet powerful as the entire vessel began to ascend. Some could argue that this was a luxurious means of transport, but so far the Arcosoid’s experience with such craft was rather limited. In his relatively short time since leaving Yardrat’s research and testing facilities, Hiem-L had physically experienced a mere three vessels – a rickety example of a space pod, the Emperor’s personal transport, and now one of the Arcosian Empire’s finest battlecruisers. It was a privilege, though he could not express such things through anything more than silence and connecting himself to the ship’s interface so as to upload a copy of his gathered data…
Goodbye, Earth! I’ll take PL for this one, thank you!
