I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD It was time to leave the South. Not only had Durian recently had a run in with a Saiyan known as Levlidian that had provoked her anger and hatred for all of his race, but she had been reminded of how much greater she had become with only a few sessions with Emer and Hinawa. The Saiyan had told her where Hinawa resided, where she could find her, and that she would likely help. It could all be a trick. A horrible trick to lure her across the Earth to further weaken her and then slay her. Instead of ending it quickly upon the mountains of the South. Yet... Durian couldn’t help but feel compelled to follow this power. Levlidian might not even be there and she might have nothing to worry about. But that was the future. What she should worry about was now. It was stretching farther into the evening. Lights dimly illuminated the streets and walkways of the city, Durian now walking along the sidewalk. There seemed to be no real difference in her usual self other than the fact that her clothes were slightly disheveled. A tear in her left shoulder of her jacket made the sleeve sag. There was a light slice in the fabric across her front. A bruise had started forming around her one eye and was quickly swelling. Small injuries, but aggravating all the less. Not ten minutes beforehand, Durian had a small run in with none too friendly people. Three men, none too large in height but easily muscled. For some reason they thought she had something of worth, maybe it was the black slacks, jacket, white blouse, and mask over her face. Maybe gloves spoke money? Durian didn’t know. But attacked all the same, they didn’t have any special powers or levels of such, but they knew how to fight with their fists. Not one to spike her PL if she didn’t have to, Durian kept to her own fists and movements to down these men. It obviously had brought her a few inconveniences, but for the most part she was unscathed? Pinned outside her work, a local bar, she left them near the side entrance. Beaten and ready to leave her alone. For now. She walked back to the main sidewalk, hands in her pockets as she trudged forward. She had a small room above the bar that she could have returned to. But... she wanted a night away from the place. Possibly just roam the city or go have a look at the area surrounding the city. So many people got tiresome and lately it had been more so. Maybe she should travel to the North.... A clang would catch her ear. A metallic sound. Her senses trying to pinpoint the location, she found the sound coming from behind her. Turning her head over her shoulder, her dull grey eyes trying to lock onto whatever made this sound, she slowed her steps. Waited. Watched. After her long journey around the world, attempting futilely to master the swords and unlock their skills even further, Tulip found herself yet again walking the streets of a city far from her home in the Bamboo Forest. Her gaze was on the ground in front of her feet. She focused on lowering her energy even further, ensuring her soul and power would only show as a dim flicker to any searching for a battle. Not that the woman anticipated anything happening this evening. Sighing outwardly, the woman noticed a street off to one side. Closing her eyes, she reached out with her soul’s eye. There were three flames surrounding a dimmed flame; she could sense the power locked behind the fourth’s dimmed flame. Only a strong individual can repress their own flame, and after doing it for so long herself, the woman could detect it when a person did it. Opening her eyes, the woman sighed and walked over to the edge of the alley. Sounds of a scuffle came from within, and the woman sat down on the edge to wait out the aftermath. When the sounds of battle were silenced, the young hybrid strolled into the alley and leaned down around each of the men. Ensuring they still breathed, the woman set them all up nicely along the wall and rearranged their disheveled clothing. She also disposed of any weapons left on their persons; after their recent fight, none of these men would be fighting anytime soon. She was surprised with the savagery of the person they had fought. It hadn’t been a clean affair, despite the supposed strength of the individual she had sensed. Had the person intentionally held back that much in order to make the fight better? That seemed messed up in a way. Shaking her head, the woman crushed the drugs and weapons she had procured under her feet and began walking back towards the end of the alley. Her heart skipped a beat as the woman realized the figure that had subdued her unconscious trio of was still standing at the mouth of the alley. Releasing the seal on her strength, the woman thrust one hand out to the side. A metallic ringing shot through the alley, as a sword of silver materialized and struck through the pavement. Yanking it free, the hybrid knelt and looked at the damage done to the ground. Deciding it wasn’t enough to be fined for, the woman rose to standing and began walking down towards the opening of the alley. Come on; let me feel it. Unveil your strength; let’s get a warm-up in this derelict alley, a battle to test one warrior’s strength against another. I want to see what techniques took down these three men.

The City itself was beautiful this time of the day, Levlidian stood observing the blue and flourishing clouds that swept cordially about the sky, some would claim a marring of a scene that could have been more so a master piece without them. Lev', however, saw them as freedom incarnate but without the notion of failed functions in favour of a selfish requirement. Yes, even the cloud served a purpose in their freedom, serving a greater unification with everything else and beneath them he'd fold each of his hands into meaty fists. This merited reflection was interrupted by a familiar power, a colourful creature he'd faced not so long ago and his jaw drew taught with expectation, turning the singular eye which still operated as a visual device he'd peer unto the far depths of concrete and noise.
Slowly, the youthful Saiyan took to the skys as he'd allow the kinetic energies of his bodies natural manipulation of physics, twisting he'd then in turn fold his body into a ball and erupt towards this familiar feeling, lowering his own energy signature beneath a detectable level; Lev' sought out Tulip. It, of course, didn't take him very long; being intimately familiar with how the silver trail she left would feel having been up close and personal with this particular soul on multiple occasions. Walls, buildings, people and motor vehicles passed beneath his trajectory. Blazing past at a faster rate thus fusing into a blur of colour he'd stop suddenly above a particular alley, beneath jogged said soul he'd adversed to find.
However, he didn't fall into the usual greeting and instead chose to pick a rooftop close by in order to observe, he was curious, what did this woman do in between sparring sessions that garnered her such increases in power? Perhaps here, he'd learn something. The length of his lips fell into a frown of concentration whilst watching on and he'd rise to dart; leaping from the first roof and to another he'd accompany his weight from the 5 foot fall with a roll and hinder sight of him behind a small wall whilst peering over it's ridge.
What on Earth was she looking for precisely? The way they moved seemed as though she was deducing something from a selection of bodies, was there a fight? Was Tulip looking to challenge them? "Hm,". It could possibly evolve into something problematic indeed, the winds swept loudly about him and festered his mane with annoyance. The fringe courted his dead eye and irritated his skin and yet Lev' would scarcely move as he watched on from the rooftops of the Capitol.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD The slowed steps would come to a full out stop. She hadn’t sensed anything before, not anything overly strong or concerning. People? Sure. Creatures? Sure. There was energy to sense everywhere but she had to be careful of the strength and proximity. The clang of metal and spiking of energy was enough to make Durian’s blood run cold. Had one of those who had attacked her been someone more? Was it a trap? Turning with dread and caution, the Kagami would need to face this newfound power. Whether she would fight or flee was a decision that was quickly coming to the latter. Too much strength. She didn’t need to see them to know that. A weapon had made that sound. And lo and behold it was a sword. In a world such as this, swords weren’t the most dastardly thing one had to be concerned about, but for someone who didn’t wish to utilize anything beyond a few levels of power... swords could be quite the nasty thing. Strong and sharp, it wasn’t something she could easily block with her fists. And if the user was skilled, it was likely Durian wouldn’t be able to simply dodge without assistance. But what was this opponent doing? By the time the sound and power had gotten to her senses, Durian turning would see a woman kneeling at the ground. Was she... inspecting it? Durian’s eyes would also flicker to her previous opponent’s. Sat up neatly and orderly. Well... that was a bit odd. In a very unsettling and almost creepy way. Without much time to look over her three attackers from before, the other female would rise to her feet. Taking a step back away from this newcomer, Durian would focus her senses completely upon her. This one was the one to be worried about. No words were spoken but the woman was drawing closer. Durian couldn’t read the expression upon her face exactly, but it didn’t seem friendly. She may have noted a twinge of excitement? It reminded her of Levlidian... A bit of anger sprouted in her heart at the thought, but nowhere near enough to challenge this other woman. “I don’t want any trouble. They attacked me first.” Gloved hands raised in the air as if to show a sign of surrender, she was referring to the men that had attacked her. She didn’t want to fight this woman. Especially with power soaring that high. Uneasy, her eyes would glance to the sides. Not many on the sidewalk. It was late and the bar had closed. It meant not many around to get hurt, but also no one to hide among. Well shit. “I don’t want any trouble. They attacked me first.” Stepping forward, the young hybrid walked past the woman with her gloved hands raised. A cursory glance revealed the streets around the two were almost empty, and of the few still around, most were drunk or the self-interest sort who wouldn’t step in the way. Peering closer, Tulip noted the tear in the left shoulder of her jacket. Stepping around, still looking the girl over, the woman noted the slice in the front of her jacket and a bruise forming under one eye. Sighing, the blade dispersed into nothing and the woman set her hands on her hips. “Not gonna lie, disappointed you’re so quick to flee from a real challenge. You had no trouble beating up those three thugs. Well, should’ve had no trouble but you held back too much. It would’ve been cleaner to incapacitate all of them in one blow rather than beating them up with your fists. There’s some blood on your gloves.” Tulip pointed out a nonexistent smudge and took a step back. A huge blade formed in the air behind the woman, a sword with a blade that reached the hybrid’s shoulder. Falling backwards, the woman leaned against the huge sword and smiled at the woman. Her emerald eyes sparkled in the dim lights of the street. “Both you and I know you’re hiding your strength. Let’s have a quick sparring session, as one martial artist to another. Nothing serious, of course. If you win, I’ll give you a senzu bean to heal the injuries to your face. If you do work at a bar, your face is probably one of your greatest assets.” Before the woman could question Tulip’s statement, the hybrid would point at her nose and grin. “Due to my heritage, I have a relatively amazing sense of smell. One of the patrons spill a beer on the ground or counter? It’s somewhere on your person, which I can smell.” Stepping forward, the woman reached back and grabbed the handle on the huge sword and looked across at the woman. “Name’s Tulip. I’ll give you a choice: swords or no swords. This fight is happening one way or another. So...let’s not turn this training session into a murder, okay?”

From the confined position he favoured high a top the cities roof line, Levlidian rose in part to peak from beneath the concrete wall. This was growing in interest, seemingly Tulip had met another figure, one shadowed by the dark and conjured a feeling of familiarity in the beast. Brow sinking, his fingers tightening about the frame of the sone in which he'd lean; was that the Kagami he'd met before? A sinking elaboration of nerves threatened the confidence he boasted in his active execution of following the Hybrid, drawing his jaw taught and retracting to hinder view from his form once again; why was he so nervous to be faced with that being? From within the confines of his bastion settled a viral expansion of dread.
"Get it together," he hissed and using the strength of his back he'd ease himself upward to vent a glance down upon Tulip, what was that she wielded now? A sword? Damnit now he wanted to join in. However, despite the arrogant bravado that welled deep inside Lev' just wouldn't make the dive. If he involved himself now this entire development would go awry and it may not even be as bad as it looked.Venting the power of his ki through veins subjected to his legs, the young Saiyan vaulted the wall and fell silently to the concrete below. darting across the street within the confines of his molecular manipulation, it would seem he'd peel from layers of reality due to the intense speed.
He was closer now, casually casting a single eye down the street in which he'd view little human traffic, taking this chance he'd move from the position he'd chosen, opposite side of the road be where he stood and quickly, seeking an adjacent exit Lev' squandered his distance from them. Quickly, upon a quickened heel he'd adverse to the opposite end of the alley way and peer briefly about the wall to the pair; he was more curious than he'd ever been. What would be Durian's response?

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian would not let the woman get to close. She was armed. She didn’t give off a feeling or look of being friendly or even unarming herself. She had no trust for this new person and didn’t know why she was here. Hell, she didn’t even back down when Durian expressed no want for trouble. Never turning her attention away from the other woman, the tall Kagami would turn her body as the other female circled around. Always facing her. Keeping watch. This didn’t put her at ease at all.. Could she run? Maybe. But she felt the woman would give chase. When the blade dispersed and the woman sighed, Durian could feel her shoulders lightly relax. At least the weapon was gone. She got no better feeling from Tulip, but no weaponry was good weaponry. Or at least... better. But then she spoke. Durian would raise an eyebrow at the words that came. Did it really look like she was looking for a challenge? Because she most certainly was not. After such disappointment was spoken, Durian had no desire to tear her gaze away from the other woman. Not to check her supposed bloody gloves. No anything. There was something in those words... It slightly reminded her of Levlidian. Slightly. He hadn’t seemed so... apathetic about his challenges. This woman wanted one, but she wasn’t bounding with energy and excitement like the Saiyan man she had met. And the sword was back. Durian could feel her body tensing once again as she readied herself for what might happen. Fleeing. She should flee. She could possibly take this woman. But not here. So many people. Saiyans around any corner... The Kagami’s dull eyes focused on Tulip as she debated her escape route. That look... There was the excitement Lev had. Different. But there. The Kagami could feel her jaw tighten in irritation. Not only that, but this woman thought she was amazingly smart for saying Durian worked in a bar. For all she knew, Tulip had been in the bar that day. Or seen her exit. Hell, one could even guess something so easy when they were right by the building and Durian herself wasn’t dressed like your average drinker. Durian had no care for these small injuries. Nor this spar. Why a random woman had targeted her... was more stressful. Her mind could only keep returning to one conclusion. Saiyan. One sent to find her and take her back to Vegeta. At Tulip’s advance and grab of her large sword, Durian would retreat. Backing as much as Tulip would move forward, she would always keep distance. “Your lust for fighting is disgusting. And I want no part of it. In case that wasn’t made clear to you by your amazing senses.” The Kagami still flared no power. In fact, she continued her retreat on the Saiyan woman. Backing up further and into the main sidewalk of the street. While there still weren’t many people at this time of night, it posed more of a problem than an alley. For both of them and their goals. Trying to steady her breathing and heart, Durian was once again reminded of that feeling. Fear. The young, brown-haired hybrid finally sighed, flicking the blade away in a flash of silver ki. A look of despair tinged her emerald eyes as the woman began walking forward. Her eyes never left Durian’s own red gaze, as the young fighter smiled softly. “Well, if you deny it that vehemently, far be it from me to force you into it. But calling my passion for fighting disgusting is awful, you know. Rather than making excuses in regards to a victory, no matter how inane, just accept the result and walk forward with your head raised. Want a Senzu for the cuts? Would be a shame if those scratches turned into scars.” The hybrid’s mood completely shifted, as the tension in the air dispersed. Crossing her arms behind her head, she began pacing in the cold street. Letting out a breath that fogged the air in front of her, the hybrid laughed again, her gaze darkening. “Though, denying that you expressed any emotions suggesting you didn’t want to battle would be a lie, I caught something else.” Her smile vanished, as the woman let her arms fall to her sides. Her ki was gone but the air still hung heavy around the two, as Tulip spoke clearly to the silver-haired woman in front of her. “What has you so terrified? This is a place of opportunity, strength, and incredible people. What scares you so much you reek with fear?”

The way the pair seemed to shift and move, Levlidian was completely unsure what they were even playing at, he wasn't close enough to hear their lowered voices and such a thing drew a scowl from the beast. perhaps he should step out, no, if he did that Durian would surely flee and he'd get no insight to how she fought; the intrigue was just too great for him. A stern sneer followed suit replacing the subtle scowl, thus, he'd draw back behind the wall. Was Tulip honestly going to ask such a question, it seemed obvious to him as to why this Kagami was scared.
Shortly after killing men this woman showed up, it was a fear for the fact she'd be punished and a calm breeze tore past Levlidian as he gazed to the sky. He could climb up, drop in if needed but to what purpose would his involvement serve truly? A peek soon revealed his need to get involved, Durian had begun to back away, what logic was this? With a sullen brow he'd exhale heavily. If this continued, he'd step in to help Durian and talk to Tulip, she was coming on incredibly strong from the feel of this. Despite the lacking of energy shifts he could still see, if for a moment, the fear on woman's complexion.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD The blade vanished again, just like the first time. What one would this woman conjure up to threaten her with next? Tulip walked forward and Durian would continue to step back. She wasn’t about to let this competitive crazy woman get closer to her. Swords appeared, vanished, and reappeared. This other woman was much too unpredictable and close wasn’t an option. Her eyes were still dull grey, no strong emotion tempting her away from the near lost color of her eyes. Far be it from her? That wasn’t what Durian had expected. The competition and need that had flared in the woman’s eyes was undeniable. Was this a trap? Or had she bored the woman so badly with her running? That was fine. Durian had no reason to challenge this female. And she didn’t wish to fight someone if she didn’t have to. If she gave up, all the better in the end. But her words were so... irritating. The kagami’s eyes would narrow ever so slightly at the other woman. “There is no victory in senseless violence.” She spoke harshly, almost accusing. What was with everyone lately? Levlidian basically spoke the same way. Combat driving him and him finding joy in it. Shaking her head, she’d turn down the other offer. “No thank you.” She spoke simply and shortly. She didn’t want this woman’s help. It would require her to get closer. Or something thrown at her. Durian didn’t have a good feeling about this female. And even while the tension from Tulip seemed to vanish, Durian would still hold the same feelings of hesitance and fear in her heart. This cocky ass woman kept talking about how she knew everything. From where she worked to how she was feeling. The narrowed eyes of the kagami never let up. This woman was pretty infuriating, even if she wouldn’t do much about it. “Those who have such a high opinion of themselves reflect their own foolishness onto others.” An obvious insult. Saying that Tulip was too foolish to clearly see what was going on. Durian never wanted a battle, and that Tulip had made it up for her own gains and fun. Even if she stood there with her ki now suppressed, Durian felt no more comfortable or less irritated with this woman. She couldn’t turn her back on her but... she wasn’t going to run in and attack. “One can not change a natural instinct bred over two decades. Not simply and not easily.”A vague answer, but one none the less. Once a submissive slave in fear and nervousness, even if one could repress that emotion and feeling, one could not totally rid themselves of it. Durian refused to let it hold her back. Or at least she liked to think so. But that didn’t mean it didn’t exist. The Kagami's irritation couldn't be settled, but there was one thing she could take it out on without being too aggressive. She didn't have the woman's heightened physical senses, but... she sensed ki. And a low ki of some person had been hanging around since Tulip's arrival. "If you're this woman's comrade, you can show yourself! An assassination is more effective if you vanish from sight!" Her words were called out towards Levlidian. He hadn't totally hidden his power and he allowed himself to be sensed. Normal person or not, he had to stick in the vicinity for so long, he could come out. Tulip crossed her arms behind her head as the silver-haired woman stared at her with disdain. The young hybrid could sense the tension in the air, despite her own willingness to leave the past behind. When Durian finally spoke, what she said caused the hybrid to groan in irritation. “There’s no victory in senseless violence.” Three unconscious thugs would beg to differ! Your marks of victory were beaten into their hides! Letting her arms fall to her side, Tulip’s emerald gaze narrowed to match the woman’s she was facing. Durian shook her head and continued speaking. “No thank you.” Guess I’ll forget about the senzu then. Tulip could tell that Durian didn’t like anything the woman had to offer, that same fear and distaste written in her expression. Even her gaze remained narrowed, a sign of the silver-haired woman’s distrust and infuriation. The young hybrid sighed and looked up at the taller woman. Durian took a breath, signalling she was going to continue her speech. “Those who have such a high opinion of themselves reflect their own foolishness onto others!” That’s a bold declaration, and clearly an insult. Not one to rise to petty insults or name calling, the young woman merely brushed her brown bangs with her hand and snickered. My egos not even that large. Besides, I have my own reasons for seeking battles, woman. “One can not change a natural instinct bred over two decades. Not simply and not easily.” Whoops, she’s still talking. Wait...was that some sort of submental...sub...vague message? Curiosity peaked, Tulip let her hand drop from her brow and looked out across at Durian. The hybrid was in time to catch the other woman’s slight glance as Durian shouted again. “If you’re this woman’s comrade, you can show yourself! An assassination is more effective if you vanish from sight!” Comrade? The fuck? Tulip closed her eyes, letting her mind’s eye stretch outwards. A familiar, burning presence was suppressed, but there, in an alley only a short ways away. It was more than irritating, causing the woman’s eyes to narrow in anger. “Never caught your name, lady, but let me clarify: that guy isn’t my comrade currently. Would be more apt to label him stalker. Oi, Levlidian, what the fuck are you doing here sneaking around like a coward!?” Her aura was fully unleashed, sending ripples through her clothes as the woman glared at the dark street their hidden friend was residing in.

Levlidian's jaw drew taught and he sighed to Tulips announcement and he sighed, there really wasn't any motion he could make besides run or turn the corner; thus he turned the corner and regarded the ladies with a billow of his cloak like Gi. Pocketing his paws, the beast lowered his head and regarded the pair, it wasn't all that terribly intimidating but the beast knew from personal experience precisely what Tulip was like in the face of his challenges. Adjusting his limbs, stretching them backwards to reflect a crack he'd then jab a thumb at Durian. "I was actually following the Kagami, being sure she was safe,". the young Saiyan flared a one eyed glance for her and then peered back to Tulip.
"Are you causing trouble here-" he extended his hands suddenly, "I'm not here for a fight, not today, I'm trying to cut down-," he applied a steady cringe unto the utterance he offered and adjusted his jaw in place of it. "I'm not here to fight, assassinate- by the Kami Durian why would I assassinate you?" the sudden expulsion of the mans voice was accented by his brow. Straightening up he'd then court his broad chest with a weft of black Gi and flesh. It was an oddity, strange oddity that he was expressing want to diffuse the a situation. Slowly he enticed himself a little closer but paused again.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD It wasn’t odd that such an aggressive, brutish, and pompous woman wasn’t paying attention. This other female had even asked Durian questions and the obvious disinterest and lack of focus was clearly seen. Sure, at first there was sighing and glaring in return. Matching expressions to not back down from the other. But as Durian responded to her questions of fear and commented upon Tulip’s own words, the kagami would not be replied to. That in itself wasn’t irritating, but that glossy look of boredom would strike a nerve. Here on Earth she was no longer a slave. What right did this woman have to totally disregard her words because she thought she was too high and above anyone around her? Apparently something Durian had said had caught the woman’s attention. Brief, but catching. It didn’t matter though. The Kagami was sufficiently irritated with this woman’s presence and the one that lingered. Calling out to the lingering form, ushering it to show itself, Durian would never imagine that it would be who it was. By now, she was fully sick of Tulip. And her claiming this Saiyan was not her comrade could only be a load of shit. If she hadn’t noticed him so far, then all of the sudden could name him without seeing him, then she was in on his presence as well. If that wasn’t enough, the woman had unleashed her ki and power, rippling over the weaker Kagami and once again making her heart race. So. She was just as aggressive as the one she had called out to. Her eyes hardened upon the male. She knew him. They had met. But why was he here? Why was he with this woman? Were they here to collect her? She cursed herself for not hiding better. If she had strayed farther away from where she met the Saiyan, she might have been able to escape meeting him once again. Her irritation flared once more. The dull grey eyes of the female springing to life into a bright and vibrant red. She had no idea what was happening. Why they were playing her the fool by saying they hadn’t come here together. But on the off chance that was what had occurred, why had the Saiyan opened his humongous trap to reveal her race? What good did that do him other than harm her? And on top of that. Why the fuck would she need followed to be safe. Durian was seething. Terrified. And furious. “Why would you keep me safe?” She hissed back with utmost irritation. The narrowed eyes still burning with red. “You had no trouble uttering stupidity on the mountains nor mentioning my race. What causes your thoughts to be a tumbling mess when it mentions my death?” She was jabbing at him. Trying to draw more information from him. Here he was saying he’d protect her and he couldn’t form a damn sentence. He got closer to them and Durian fought no want to back away. She took steps from the both of them with little hesitation. Putting distance between her and the two others. “This woman shares your attitude. Bravado and foolishness together.” Tulip Waterfield Levlidian --------------------------------------------- PL - 21,060 => HW 5,265 => Suppressed 14 KP - 3/3 Techs Used = Energy Suppression [UT1] Durian are capable of suppressing your power in order to better hide herself from the gaze of those with Energy Sensing or those utilizing a Scouter, so long as she is not making use of powerful techniques(anything that would consume KP in a KP Battle) she can remain undetected by friends and foes alike!
