Name: Abo (From abra kadabra and kabochan)
Alias: Violet Bullet
Species: Kabochan/Zoon
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance: Abo is incredibly tall for a Zoon-Seijin, standing at a towering 6'8". While most Zoons are lean, small and tight, the Violet Bullet is rather bulky and chiseled. He has a wide fish-like face with large purple lips and red eyes. His skull, like many Zoon-Seijin, is elongated, but he has several bone adornments protruding outwards from the crown. Arcosian-like bio armor covers his upper torso and gauntlets.
History:
Twenty years ago, planet Zoon was the front line of battle between the Saiyan Solar Empire and the Arcosian Empire. The cold's forces clashed with the saiyan's in daily destructive battles, and the saiyan auxiliary corps were in the first line of offense.
On one particular date (days were hard to distinguish, as there was no day or night on Zoon), a force of 10 notorious Kabochan warriors landed on the planet, their space pod insignia revealing their saiyan loyalties.
Immediately overtaking the nearest Zoon city, the Kabochan's pluming explosions shook the horizon. Leading the attack force was the middle aged Prince Ukin. Although the Zoon-Seijin had the gravity advantage, incredible power, overwhelming numbers, and the home territory, there was no stopping the Kabochan invasion force; entire sections of the city were reduced to rubble in single blasts.
By the time the ruthless saiyan loyalists were finished, the former capital city of Zoon was in ruin. Ukin and his men slowly descended to the ground. Their boots touching the stone was the only sound that could be heard for miles in the fresh wasteland. Ordering his men to go search for survivors, the prince wanted to assure that he had not made a single mistake. One of many brothers, the 30 year old prince was first in line to the Kabochan throne, but lived under heavy scrutiny from his siblings and aging father.
Pacing through the rubble and throwing explosive orbs of ki at anything that moved, the prince would suddenly meet a surprise. One of his blasts, hurled haphazardly at a pile of concrete, was deflected, and careened off into space before exploding dramatically. Instantly, the Prince flash-stepped to the source of the deflection, and raised a fist in the air to punch down on the pile of rubble when an unexpected blow landed soundly in his stomach, sending him reeling back. When he looked up, he would meet the eyes of a determined Zoon-Seijin female.
Natural selection had done its work: she was the strongest member of the species Ukin had bothered to record, and she was charging up an attack at this very instant. Ukin caught the blast of energy with both hands, and crushed it between his palms, allowing the explosion to overtake his body without flinching.
"You…" He whispered, almost to himself, "You will bear my heir."
As was custom for Kabochan conquest, the strongest of the conquered race was bred with the leader of the strike force, in order to produce powerful young soldiers for the Kabochan army. Ukin injected a tracking device into the Zoon-Seijin's bloodstream, and left the planet, his mission complete.
Although incredibly powerful, Kadabra was, like other members of her race, incredibly unintelligent. She migrated from the city of rubble to a secondary Zoon population centre, and was hailed as a hero for her efforts against the invasion force.
For almost a year, Kadabra lived out life in relative quiet on Zoon, traumatized from watching her her friends turn to dust. She lived by herself in a small apartment; the Zoon government afforded her the highest tier of veteran benefits, which allowed her to have meals brought to her daily while she lived in isolation.
Months later, she bore her son. He was a fresh and average looking Zoon-Seijin, however he was conceived with an exceptionally high powerlevel and a strange looking forehead. Immediately, Kadabra braced herself to have her son taken from her. But the Kabochan forces never came, nor did they make any attempt to contact her.
Back on Kabocha, Prince Ukin had been dead for quite some time. Killed by his youngest brother, all records of his Zoon invasion were erased, and the tracking device inside Kadabra was long deactivated.
And so, Abo grew up unimpeded by his royal Kabochan heritage. But he certainly was no regular Zoon-Seijin. As he began growing up, it became clear that Abo possessed an inherent talent for combat, and soon dwarfed his peers in both power and size. In fact, size was perhaps Abo's most notable feature; by the time he was 3 years old he was four feet tall. The Zoon-Seijin officials declared him a mutant, and he just kept on growing.
When Abo neared adulthood, he shattered records on the isolated planet for all types of battle feats. His battle tactics were by no means exceptional, but possessed the ability to tap into an incredible latent potential which surpassed even the most trained elders.
Abo was soon a well renowned warrior on Zoon, more for his status of prodigy and mystery than actual combat achievement. But it was his celebrity status which ultimately became his downfall. Kidnappers lured him into captivity with a shady promise of special training, and Abo was sold as a slave to space pirates.
Abo was never told that he was a slave to the pirates; He simply believed that serving as a grunt for the gang of criminals was his special training. His pirate masters actually treated him decently, keeping their best soldier well fed and well versed in their shady techniques. It was with the pirates that Abo got the nickname Violet Bullet for his incredibly speed in battle. He adapted the Eraser Star technique of the pirate gang into the Eraser Black Star, and learned the captain's signature energy swallowing ability.
But soon, Abo outgrew his gang of pirates. On a particularly lofty raid, they were slaughtered by a more powerful arcosian loyalist force, despite Abo's best efforts. The arcosian imperials noticed the incredible fighting talent of the Zoon mercenary, and the surviving pirate captain sold Abo's slavery contract to the arcosians. Without his knowledge, Abo's services had changed hands.
The dim witted speedster was easily convinced to go with the imperials, and the next chapter of his life began to unfold. While most of the arcosians on his new force treated him with the calculated disdain of slave masters and imperial officers, Abo found himself drawn to another member of the low ranking but powerful squadron he had been assigned to: a youthful mutant arcosian who was around the same age as Abo. Believing himself to also be a mutant, Abo bonded with cadet immediately, and their personalities balanced each other well.
Plummice was a small purple skinned arcosian with a strange skin disorder that made his bio armor a perfect attractive environment for moss and mold. However, along with his mutation came incredible cognitive abilities and telepathic power. The mutant found comfort in Abo's genuine brand of hard work and skill in battle, and he looked upon the Zoon-Seijin as a younger brother. The two connected deeply, honing their battle tactics and bonding over their shared experiences of exile. Abo needed someone to watch out for him, because nobody else would. The pair found the first true friendship of their lives in each other.
Soon, their task force was assigned to an impossible job on planet Kabocha at the front lines of battle. While Abo was eager to test out new battle techniques, Plummice knew better. This was a set up in order to eliminate them before they rose too high in power; Plummice had read enough minds and gathered enough evidence to be sure of it. This was the defining moment of their friendship. Plummice was going to save Abo from an empire who wanted his potential taken out of the picture.
Soon, the mossy arcosian had appropriated a space pod for his partner, and sent him off to safety, promising he would follow behind. But as Plummice boarded his own space pod, he was apprehended by the imperial forces and forcibly brought to the battle on Kabocha, where he would eventually meet Abo's very uncles in battle.
Meanwhile, Abo's own pod was safely on its way to the Raiti Zarco Asteroid, a place far outside the jurisdiction of the arcosian empire. Landing there, Abo once more had to build a new life.
Although he found decent success as a mercenary, Abo knew deep down that his partner couldn't have betrayed him, and his brutish intellect prevented him from succeeding in complex situations. He had to find Plummice. Only his best friend could know what to do next.
Starting Planet: Raiti Zarco Asteroid
Techniques:
Eraser Black Star [N1]
Clenching his fist, Abo shouts out the name of his attack and generates a dense flaring ball of purple energy around his hand. He can then use the orb of energy dynamically in combat, firing it as a beam or throwing it as a bomb.
Twin Eraser Black Star [UP2]
Clenching his fists, Abo shouts out the name of his attack and generates a two dense flaring balls of purple energy around his fists. He can fire both blackstars as one, or use each one individually.
Kabo Kabo! [N1]
In his signature ability, a grinning Abo opens his mouth wide and swallows an energy attack whole. He absorbs the energy which he can take, but the remaining kickback will give him a very painful stomachache and deal 1/2 of the leak-through damage. If the damage would kill him, Abo explodes dramatically.
