I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD A more useful job that she typically found. Someone that had come across the bar in the city had mentioned a small thing they needed taken care of. With Durian bartending along with a few others, she had caught word of the thing needed taken care of. Upon Mt. Paozu there was a small home. It sat on one of the numerous ledges and cliffs of the gorgeous mountain. This home had recently been overrun by small reptilian creatures. Dinosaurs, if one will. Colored similar to that of the surrounding area, clay dirt colors, green to match the brush and trees, some even the lightest blue to blend into the massive lakes and rivers that found pockets on the mountain or in the surrounding plains. The job was to clear out these animals and rid them from the home! Not one to turn down side work, Durian would finish her shift, get some rest, and head out towards this home on the mountains. The trek was longer than she would have particularly liked. She had no ship at her disposal to use whenever she pleased, and transportation cost money. Her next shift wasn’t for a few days after a certain... incident with one of the customers. No one could say that Durian was the most friendly bartenders. It certainly didn’t help working along side Sallot. He could turn her nerves to ash in a matter of seconds. The female Kagami continued up a dirt path up the mountains. Surprisingly, she didn’t encounter much. Constantly keeping track of the energies surrounding her, she avoided any larger scale ones and made do with those that showed no, or little, threat. Barely taking a moment to rest or stop, she’d find her way to the home. It was small, light yellow like the fading sun. And all in the yard surrounding the homestead were creatures. Nearly three feet high, focused on their hind legs with small little arms that hung rather limply at the side. They had tails that wipped around with small daggers on the back, three eyes set into their skulls, and what looked more like a beak than teeth to peck away at intruders. Not particularly smart it seemed, but numerous, the Kagami would slowly approach. Late afternoon, coming on evening. The sun would begin to start its descent in the sky but dark was a ways off. This light brought the colors of the Kagami’s hair out, rainbow patterns dancing along her locks to show the blessings of her people. Her eyes did not hold the red of the Kagami, but were rather dull and grey. Her attire was typical. Hiding who she was. Black slacks, shoes, and jacket, the latter lined with weights. Beneath was a white blouse, which under that held bandages securely and forcefully restraining her figure to more of a twig than a feminine appearance. Snapping her arm out to her side, the Kagami would place flames over the right arm. Her ki swelling around it as she charged into the small creatures. Her hope was to drive them away from the home if she could, using fire as a scare tactic. For some of the smaller ones, they let out a bit of screeching and took off. But there were many that held more stubbornness than that. Staying in place and near ruffling their scales as the Kagami came charging in, bashing into them one after another with her arm aflame until she landed on one near the door to the home. Fire focused upon this being in crackling flames as it went flying and screeching in agony. A serious expression on her face, the Kagami brought flames forth onto her other arm as the first ones diminished with her attack. She was now in the midst of small reptilian creatures. A small multitude of fifteen or so to slowly make cower from the area. It wasn’t bartending, it was more dangerous, but it was certainly more helpful than bartending to her future goals. The mountains had always been a quieter scene for the young Saiyan, soaring through the skies was also a favoured way to travel; admiring the scenes that enveloped his newly acquired home. Such a generous blanket of green and stone, it was a far more so pleasant arena to exist in; however, what was to follow drew the one eyed man like a moth to the flame. Adversing into that of a rotation, he'd betray a small smile to the amusement of it whilst locking about energies beneath him, combat was present yet the beast couldn't pass up the notion he conjured. Involving one self in the battle of another could be considered dishonourable yet in this day and age he worried less of the trivial laws and more of the greater ones. There it was, a dark clad figure fending against several Reptiles, it was odd, the way they used fire reminded him of his Master and yet their entire form was all wrong, it didn't match the assumption at least.
Whilst swooping closer, his energy signature steadily climbing whilst the Saiyan did so, Lev' observed her style, it was definitely new. The unique use of fire provoked a curious quirk of his brow, this one didn't need his help not at all, however he was on his way down anyway and who was he pass up a fight with another fellow warrior. Else wise he'd simply fly around, admiring the scene from his good eye and moping about his ruined, milk white right eye. A fight with the sun as it was, it added a strange ethereal feel to the whole area, mountains were no doubt such an interesting creation especially since they weren't jagged nor a horrible crimson as they were on Planet Vegeta.
Acquiring the necessary speed, Levlidian sought to bull-rush the scene in his signature style, fool hardly and reckless. Curling into a ball in the midst of the air an inferno of blood red Ki swallowed the entire of his bastion, throwing forward his fist and fully extending himself saw his intentions made clear. Striking the dirt with the force of a small projectile venting plumes of dust and debris all about him, a deep, guttural snarl drew from his throat as he rose from the placement of his knees. The first reptile scooted backwards a long side its comrades.
Drawing one fist tight to his waist, the other extending out with a flat palm, Lev' began to channel his energies. As the wind correlated about him almost reacting to the ki he generated the debris swept aside revealing the newly acquired aid. A deep hum filled the air about him as molecules were sent into a frenzy, collecting like a vortex of many serpents within such and his crimson ball of fire forged itself tinted with an air of neon blue about it's ridges. A few moments passed, the reptiles grew closer angered by the sudden arrival, but he unleashed it upon the first reptile causing a painful roar to pierce the less than silent scene in the mountains, sheer force of the blast swept Levlidian's kimono like Gi into a frenzy behind him, sleeveless arms drew tight and his heavily bandaged arms drew taught with the effort.
With a broad grin, the heavily scarred fellow craned his neck to peer over his shoulder at the black robed figure and offered a thumbs up, "Sorry to barge in, it looked like fun," the grin became borderline jester like before he turned his head back to the fight; "I won't tell anyone if you don't," and lowering himself, extending one hand like a clawed paw before him, the other tightening to his waist; he prepared for the next attacker, sweeping a heavy black boot forward as though about to pounce. Another attacker swiftly dove to take their chance, these were mere animals after all not tacticians. Whilst his Ki would snake about him as a wild fire might, his eyes never wavered, the one that seemed to focus at all locked about the arising Reptile.
Sweeping to the side and pivoting upon one heel, Levlidian sought evade the first lunge but another was son to follow, this was courted well by a defensive forearm grazed by its maw; however the strike coming from below soon vented a thunderous boom about the scene. Flexing the knee well and driving the tip hard into the underneath of his opponent, it was a swift end via a vicious right hook detonating the ground with the impact and Lev's heel met the grass once more to steady himself whilst untwisting his upper form which followed through with his fist to the ground. Upon righting himself an arrogant grin bloomed upon Levlidian's lips and his spined, chocolate brown hair seemed to simply fall back into place.
This is what he lived for,

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Charging her ki around her arm, Durian prepared another onslaught of rushing and attacks in her mind towards these small-ish dinosaurs that plagued the property. Her muscles tensing in readiness to burst forth, she found a moment of hesitation. Her sense picked up a larger power level, something concerning to the young woman to the point that she contemplated getting damn well out of the area. The speed at which whatever being approached was concerning, not to mention the level of power that almost seemed to be climbing as it drew nearer. The colors of the rainbow flashing off the locks of the female, she’d draw her eyes briefly upwards to grant herself sight of whatever doom drew near. Cascading down, the creatures surrounding her didn’t take as much interest. Her eye would leave the Saiyan that came closer as she caught movement from the corner of her eye. One of the reptiles leaping for her with its beak, the thin-framed woman drew her leg up and brought her heel harshly down upon the creature’s skull. An odd sort of whimpering sound with a screel of irritation as its head smashed into the dirt, it shook its skull and backed away a few steps. In the moments following, another sounds of colliding with the earth would meet her ears. This time not her doing, he one that had been rushing towards the planet would ‘land.’ Dirt, dust, small debris, and grass would scatter the air around the man’s landing, falling in disarray around his feet and nearly threatening to strike Durian the small distance she was from him. The creatures distracted by the new arrival, they turned their attention off of the Kagami and for the male that stood with his hand outstretched. Light, energy, power, all started to gather at his hand when he called for them. It wasn’t long for him to gather the charge he required, blasting it towards one of the reptiles and sending it packing. It’s painful cry pierced the air and the man stood tall and proud of himself. Durian found.. irritation in his presence. The way he had entered in a need for show, blasting off a creature without giving her a moment’s notice. What reason would anyone have to enter the scene unless.... Unless they too had heard of the job. Sighing inwardly, she couldn’t be angry over something such as that. And by this time he had even looked over his broad shoulders at her and gave her a grin and greeting. He spoke that it looked like fun but did offer an apology. The female would look to him, but provide no answer. The sooner she finished this job, the sooner pay could be received for the both of them, and she could continue onward. The help was nice, she guessed. But sharing the pay for such travel and time would not be. He looked back to the creatures that surrounded now the both of them. Down at least two from the time he had entered the scene, the numbers would dwindle little by little if they continued his fun. Creature after creature would begin to rush the mammalian bipeds. Irritation rose from them at the entrance of both Durian and Levlidian, they had infiltrated their home. The first that came for Durian she unleashed her held fury upon it, fire cascading over her arm and enveloping the creature in flame as she forced it backwards with a strike of her first. The power behind the attack sent it backwards as well as the one behind it, crashing into a third as they toppled into a pile. Two not overly injured, but staggering to gain their footing as their brethren kept up the onslaught towards the two ‘people.’ One moving to snap it’s beak at Levlidian’s heels from the back, another for Durian’s side leaping with it’s claws ready to pierce whatever it came in contact with. The thinner female took such moments to move instead of strike, the creature soaring past her and into its kin. Claws still slashing flesh, cutting into the scales of its brother to reveal another screech into the air. “It appears you draw joy from violence.” The female spoke somewhat dully. His grin was not lost on her, the excitement and joy rolling off of him with every move that he made. It reminded her of “home.” And those memories were not fond. These ancient like Dinosaurs swept in low, their attacks instinctual and direct with all the warning in the world from savage screeches and snarls. Levlidian's grin widened as he observed the figure fight, more fire users, this was turning into an interesting day and with his attention drawn else where his fist burrowed hard into the abdomen of a leaping creature. pivoting on his heel he'd seek fall low and sweep at the monster squawking at his heel sending it soaring into the rocky mountain side. Granted, it was more fulfilling to fight stronger opponents; but in this instance Levlidian was willing to allow himself to take pride in this skirmish. However, more brandished their will to protect their home and appeared to confront the pair of attackers. One such creature dove with two of his brothers thus the Saiyan re diverted his efforts into evasion, twisting on his hips and leaping he'd rotate clear of one attack then duck another seeking take the bird-reptile by it's larger hind then and toss it hard into the dirt.
The newer, more so slender version of the Saiyan's body was fast, he loved the feeling and dispersed into the subtle hum of his energy, reappearing behind his offenders in an instant he would follow with a thrust of his leg darting his heel against the temple of one. In the same move curling the inner of the same foot around the throat of the second, he'd drag it to the floor ending it's life swiftly with a palm to the sternum. There wasn't anything particularly different about his tag partner at all, they were taller, sleeker, swifter but he couldn't shake the feeling something was off. This didn't cease his shrivelling grin, a sacrifice to the focus he harnessed whilst analysing the movements, this one had tactics in mind; placement was important and the consistent moving instead of attacking reminded him of that.
Was she another tactician? His pride flared up but Levlidian had stood still for far too long; adverting on his heel he'd spy the sudden close quarters of a set of jaws aiming for his throat. "Huh," he sighed and flared his forehead forwards indenting the tough scales with his own flesh venting the mass of Dinosaur against the dirt with a subtle crack. "...ow," he mumbled unto himself, placing a palm to his brow whilst lowering back into his fighting formation. Tucking in his left arm, extending his right into a talon and falling into horse stance, Lev' waited.
"Violence? Why must to simplify the beauty of a competitive challenge in combat like that?" Another attack, stepping into the short creature he'd seek deliver a stout punch unto it followed by another and then an upper cut from the first fist to strike; "I hate needless violence, it serves no purpose, this, this is competition; I didn't intend to kill these creatures at first but since they intend to kill me, a man needs to defend himself," With that he erupted from his position and swept into the fray, leaping and placing both of his hands upon the ground he'd vent both boots out like a mule scrutinising both rear attackers he'd felt coming with his heels, the one eyed Saiyan then allowed the momentum to lead him back onto his feet and begin laughing. "Idiot Reptiles," he goaded.
The cool air made a distinct change, usually it was ice ridden, "Why else would someone fight if not to survive one way or the other?" the group these fighters had engaged had dwindled now, it actually occurred to Levlidian that these beats may not be the bad guy here. "Why are you here?" he blurted out with conviction, this was a very real possibility that he had made a mistake; it wouldn't be the first time.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD It was to Durian’s advantage that they were simple creatures. The woman wasn’t a known fighter nor did she have training. All she knew and did was from memory or reaction. The woman had seen Saiyans fight many a times in her past, she knew how they could move and fight, their pride and conviction for whatever simple goal they had. Durian was quick enough to be able to avoid simple reptiles from lunging at her, and the strength of her natural blood bonding with those of the Saiyans gave her significant strength compared to a weaker species. The Kagami could be a very strong race, if not held beneath the chains of slavery. Her attention was much more focused upon the creatures than on Levlidian in these moments. While she was certain he would stay within her peripherals, he wasn’t actively attacking her yet. Her split attention would catch him ceasing he life of a creature in his hands. Bringing brief flashes of memory to her mind of the sickening kind. A well of repressed hatred pressing at the back of her mind only to be redirected into confusion at the sight before her. The distraction proved enough for one of the creatures to gain a free strike, headbutting her without any block from the female into her side. It leapt, colliding into the softer flesh just above her hip and sending her colliding with the ground, reptile in tow. Talons and beak slashing and snapping for the woman it downed, the Kagami’s confusion would be replaced with irritation at her ability to be easily distracted. Dull eyes refocused upon the targets that mattered, she refocused her ki around her arm, the flesh nearly bursting into flame instantly. Throwing her fist forward and connecting with the scales of the creature, fire would lick at the animal as it was sent off her body. It left a few tears in her clothes but nothing of major concern. Huffing with aggravation as she attempted to calm her racing heart, Durian couldn’t be said to be used to combat. There was her owner. Then Hinawa and Emer. Those were the only intelligent beings she had faced. Creatures here and there, but drawing close to danger quickened her blood and heart rate. Not even with excitement, but fear. One that she couldn’t hide from nor would she draw away. Every moment she was in this fear the closer she would get to a greater pride and goal. The female would get to her feet once again, her eyes darting for the other man when she heard his voice. The creatures were less numerous. Being scared away, injured, or flat out killed. In fact, the few that remained seemed hesitant to continue on with the squabble for the losing battle for their ‘home.’ A group of thirty having dwindled down to half at Durian’s arrival, now to maybe five. “Needless violence is easily turned into a competition. Don’t convince yourself otherwise.” She came back towards his accusation of her simplification. To her, he seemed foolish. Competition against creatures? Beauty in combat? It further reminded her of Vegeta... Of the family she had belonged to. It made her skin crawl with that connection. With this soon over, she would have to take her leave as quickly as possible. Another came for her side, the opposite of the one she found to be sore. Spinning her upper body towards it and bringing the opposite elbow down upon it’s skull, one last would rush after and she’d force her leg and foot forwards directly into its snout. Small creature wailing, it would run off with the scattered others to find another place of refuge. He posed an interesting question. Why might one fight if not to survive? “If you were asked the same, you’d say for the beauty of competition.” She would retort with a nearly smug smirk. Standing to her full height and rolling back her shoulders as the immediate threat seemed to dissipate from the area. “Others fight for someone else to survive.” In this case, she came here to help someone regain their home. She couldn’t be fooled into thinking that it was due to her moral need to assist, she just wanted the money. Giving a shrug of her shoulders that she just rolled, she’d look away from the male to gain further view of the area. Turning away from him and taking steps towards the small home, she’d begin to walk around the side. Having heard his question, she’d call back to him. “Paid to get rid of pests at this home. I assumed that’s why you showed up?” That was a bit concerning.. if he wasn’t here to be paid. Why... was he here? Glancing over her shoulder, she could feel a chill running over her skin. He reminded her of home. Had a thirst for violence. He had shown up at her side. It was possible that he didn’t know about the job in the least. Was he Saiyan? Was this some cruel joke to play with her sense of safety and then drag her back off to Vegeta? Embedding his fist hard into another of the attackers, the young Saiyan laughed only to pause half way through, Durian had uttered something that hit home. Before he endured more harsh truths he'd seek open his palm forging a purely red plume of plasma and sweep it like a extended slap; it knocked most of the monsters free of him; "I fight for people I need to protect too but fighting is all I know, I try to make some good in this twisted little universe by utilising it," with a taught jaw, he'd add; "battle is only beautiful if it's shared in passion not hate," and here he could only see him using it in reflective hatred, that bothered him. By no means was he a good man, quite the opposite, Levlidian considered himself neither Devil nor Hero; more like the zero balance. He had loose morals, strong ideas of Honour and a stern if not dark way of looking at the world.
Indeed they'd dwindled to almost nothing now and fear was rampant amongst those left, a grim frown decorated the Saiyan's complexion as he peered between the minimal that were dead at his and and sadness fluttered through his one good eye. This reminded him of home, it reminded him of what he detested and with a snarl of warning to the others whom would disperse, the Saiyan lowered his fists from aggressive to passive. "You have a point," he muttered and sought to place his finger tips to the rear of his mane; itching idly. "Damnit, I got carried away, now I feel guilty," with a minor sigh he'd pivot on his heel sweeping his dark kimono-like gi into a bloom of fabric. "A job huh, can't argue with that reasoning, since coming to live here that aspect of the planet has evaded me," pocketing both hands, Levlidian drew back his shoulders and merely waited for the last remnants to wrap up before his conversee.
On closer inspection, the young Saiyan noted she moved more like the beasts did in terms of response, instinct and muscle memory which quirked the brow of his right, milky blank eye. A dark cloud reflected in his obsidian eye, however, the only real notion of emotion from him; there was a familiarity with how this figure moved that he didn't like. The SSE used similar standards of combat, Levlidian knew them but had long ago discarded them a long with their enslaving and warmongering ways. It wasn't entirely couthe to simply state a blunt question but his temper was obvious here; a vein protruding from the bridge of his brow. "Are you a Saiyan," the tone was bitter, aggressive but nothing compared to his additional; "A Saiyan with the Solar Empire, by chance?"
His aura ignited and the collaboration of cloth decorating his form fluttered like a leaf on a breeze, he was making it clear as per his code of honour that the answer she gave was entirely dependant on which response she was granted next. The SSE's treatment of him still hung heavy upon the youthful man, most of his scars were granted by a member especially the mark of a deserter scarred into his waist. It appeared Darian was also subject to the creatures wrath at one point or another, he spied the shredded clothing and the irritability in her actions but it did nothing to calm him until he was sure.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD His words provided more memory of her home planet. Of those that constantly surrounded her. Saiyans. Fighting was all he knew and he had an excuse for why he should be able to use it whenever he desired. He may not have been wrong, but it didn’t make it any less similar. She’d raise a brow when he spoke of it being beautiful when in passion but without hate. What did he think these animals were doing...? Playing? They certainly weren’t reveling in the thought that they were taking them from their home. Durian saw no problem with ridding the area of the creatures, but she also wasn’t the one trying to justify fighting as something beautiful. Violence was not beauty. Necessary, maybe. But not beauty. Regardless, Durian would shrug her shoulders and go about her business when he spoke on feeling guilty. “There’s really no need to, they’re just creatures. And they were causing a problem.” She spoke it offhandedly. It’s what she believed to be true. They weren’t of higher intelligence, they survived and little more. Done with her small inspection around the side, hearing no more screeches or burrowing of talons, for the moment she was secure in thinking the area was free of the reptiles. What was more... she was concerned about this male. He had her attention it what was most definitely worry. Why was he here all of the sudden and what was his purpose? Turning to face him, staying near the small home, she wouldn’t relax. There would be slight tension found in the female’s body, though she was more at the ready than she was rigid in place. If he came for her, she needed to try and escape. What she hadn’t expected to find was this fury that was settled upon her. Her dull grey eyes searching his face and then the rest of his form for a clue as to why he was instantly furious. The answer would come soon enough. The word coming so easily off of his tongue, the female couldn’t help but snap instantly back at the disgust she felt at the insult. “It makes more sense for you to be one.” Her words of irritation would nearly be cut off by what he added on at the end. She could feel her heart beating again, the muscle racing to pump blood faster. A powerful male with fury in his form, flexing his power before her as if warning that he might attack at any moment. The female’s eyes narrowed with his addition. Her being a Saiyan with the Solar Empire. Disgusting and insulting. “I have no business with you. Insult someone else with your repulsive accusations.” Taking a cautious few steps away from the house, but also not at all in the direction of the man. The female Kagami would be doing her best to leave the area if at all possible. A confrontation with someone she highly suspected to not be any good for her was not in the cards. Especially when the level of power she sensed was so easily visible and flaunted by the angry one before her. Well, it seemed he was wrong however, even if he was there was no way of identifying whether she was working in league with his Brother's former Platoon or not, "They're not -just- anything," Levlidian chimed in, "Though you have a point, I do find you lacking of respect for the lands a tad dis-heartening,"
With a sneer he allowed the energy smothering him like a blaze to wither and desist, still, he wasn't sure if she was lying or not. Had they sent more to drag him home, surely they weren't so hard up in their war efforts that they'd force a traitor to fight. "You're telling me you're not one of them?" he asked as the fury subsided to a mere piercing question. "Then how did you learn to fight as they do? I swear, if you're fooling me woman I won't hesitate to take you down; I refuse to be dragged back there just to be used as a weapon,". The sudden remark about him acting more so like a Saiyan took his ignition out entirely, debris began to settle from the subtle plumes of dust courting his heel like a vortex and his mane settled.
"I refuse to be their slave, even if I am a Saiyan by blood I am not one where it counts; now are you one of them come to drag me home in chains or not? You dodged my question before, giving me retorts and your actions right now speak otherwise; I came down here to meet someone new not to fall prey to those Kami forsaken politics again,". Durian seemed primed and ready to bolt for it and this drew suspicion from the beast, slowly his own boot drew back in subsequent fear, could she have allies near by hiding their energies? Damnit, if they did and they were hiding them from him their strength must be immeasurably higher than his. "If you'd have seen what I have, woman, you'd take my method of finding out a little more seriously,"
With a flex of the triceps, his shoulders drew back whilst his hips pivoted as if ready to flee just as she was, should Durian make a sudden move Levlidian planned to be gone by the time her reinforcements arrived. In retrospect, the young Saiyan was not familiar with Kagami; until coming to earth he wasn't even aware Saiyan's had slaves at all. Identifying this woman as a Saiyan was all he had, if not an actual Saiyan she could have easily been another species working with them. An odd development, at first Lev's brash behaviour had him prepared to fight, however, upon noting the substantial knowledge of ambushes he was fairly sure if this was indeed as he remarked; this was the bait. A silence fell about the clearing, worn and beaten animals either crawled free of the two souls prepared to run or lay dead.
An odd situation indeed.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Not just anything. She could have smacked him right there. What made him think he was correct in everything he spoke? Didn’t she shove his ideas into the ground just moments earlier? Yet he thinks he can challenge her words? He was just him. She was just her. They were just creatures. This was just planet Earth. Everything had their place and rights. Everything sat in some balance. The creatures fought for their home just as she was going to, but it didn’t shake the reality that both of them were losing. As for disheartening. Well... she didn’t exist to make his heart beat for joy, now did she? The Kagami was growing more agitated with every moment, though it was possible it could be blamed on her fear and nervousness. There was anger and fury in the male near her. Greater power than she possessed. And he spoke so easily about how she resembled those she hated, when in turn he was a mirror of those very Saiyans she hated. Little did she know that they feared the same thing. The other dragging them off and taking their freedom. His bite didn’t leave his tone as he would ask the question again. Was he dense? She had to wonder. Was it not clear that she hated their existence? Durian was very much in no way a Saiyan. The Kagami remained silent, trying to figure out what there was to do. She could bite back with her own disgust and fury. But if they began a fight, she would most assuredly lose. Her hands twitching a small bit and drawing towards the middle hem of her black jacket, she contemplated losing the clothing and weights. It could give her a slight boost in comparison to it tiring her now. But... enough? She doubted. While it might have behooved him to mention that he was a slave as well, that was all forgotten when he said that one very significant phrase. A Saiyan by blood. The eyes of the female would narrow, anger fueling her body. He was a Saiyan. Those dull eyes would slowly come to live, red swirling into the grey pools and taking over her irises to reveal one of the other physical characteristics of Kagami. In her newfound irritation, she couldn’t help but bite back at his comment about what he had seen. ”I have seen what you Saiyans have done and can do. Mock others for no care for the land while you squeeze the life out of whatever you please.” Pointing accusingly at the ground where the reptilian creatures he killed lay. “I’ve seen the blind joy in aggression. The need for dominance. The pure ecstasy you get from dragging what you own through pain, torture, and tears.” Standing tall, shooing all fear from her person. She’d straighten her shoulders with a taunting arrogance. Let the Saiyan see his own foolishness. “I’ve seen plenty.” The female hissed. Her red eyes completely focused on him. Ready for his movements, whether it be her end or his flee. “I am Kagami. Originating from the planet Aridot and blessed by our great goddesses. One day I’ll be sure to have those of your blood gasping for life as you did to those creatures.” Even him. That much might have been told in her expression. She felt no sympathy for him. There was a blanket of hate and rage for everyone with his blood. The observation of her transition from humanoid into a devilish looking creature, if only in eyes alone, drew the young Saiyan into understanding. Aina had told him the tale but it was so long ago now, he'd found himself remembering only parts but the reflective nature of his singular eye softened. In every action Durian took he could read a very different rage to his, there was no lie in these hateful words and Lev' found himself believing her despite himself. Tus, in one action he lessened the need to leave in his creaking bones and now stood complacent, such unsympathetic beings earned a nod from the beasts who's heels dug into the stone under his weight. They were similar, not the same but the scowl dispersed for a neutralist's stare.
"Good," was his response, "For when you do manage to execute that promise of yours, good," there was no defence for his race after what they'd done and apparently not just to their own kind. Levlidian said nothing more on the subject and looked on to the dead at his feet, he whispered something inaudible beneath his breath and allowed the silence to swallow them for a moment. The wind swept wildly whilst obsidian burrowed into the crimson Durian boasted and vice a versa, "Hinawa warned me that not all of you were entirely accepting of anyone from my race, to be honest I don't blame you; though would you destroy yourself for that revenge you carelessly blurted out?" yes, he'd continue to challenge her and those thoughts, "Would the fight you bring not bring you some satisfaction, if it does, how does that make you different to those that constantly do it?"
A meek shrug followed suit, "Granted I responded aggressively, I am sorry about that and I am sorry for the way I spoke of combat. I don't expect you to share what I find to be true, though in an amusing way we're not so different," a poor choice, he knew it to liken himself to the enrages Kagami but were they so different? Not a few months ago he carried the same rage and the same outlook. However, in coming to terms with the fact that he himself had more to offer, the Saiyan dropped it almost entirely and chose to look ahead instead of behind. What more was there to do?
"You're wrong about me, you're wrong and completely blind at this moment which I can also accept. It was horrible what my people did but I and a friend intend to change it for the better. Either way, if you'd like to vent a bit of that anger out on me. If you feel so strongly that repeating history with the roles reversed will help your people at all," his ki began to fall, depleting to meet hers equally; "I'm ready to fight and I will keep it honourable, I will remain at your strength but on the flip side; we could just talk. I want to know what I'm fighting for, Hinawa and Aina were vague at best,"

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian wasn’t oblivious to the Saiyan’s softening and one eyed gaze, but she was apathetic. She didn’t need his care of his pity. The Kagami needed nothing from him. All she wanted was for him to cease to exist. He may lose his anger but hers was not subdued. He had continued calling her a Saiyan. Revealed he was a Saiyan himself. The female was severely debating if she should simply take him on in her rage. It wasn’t logical, which was still strong enough to keep her from rushing him. But her emotions were swaying her natural thinking. Exhaling harshly through her nose as he told her good, she’d shift weight to one of her hips in annoyance, her foot slightly behind the other, therefore throwing her balance slightly away from him. The disgusting creature... a Saiyan. The quietness of the mountain would consume the two for many a second. The man looking to the creatures he slayed, then to her. Eye to eyes. Gaze to gaze. Tension between them yet lessening so from his side. Now. He was going to backtrack and try to take her down. Good, her ass. Why did he ever open his damn mouth? Destroy herself. A half of a smirk tugged at her lips. A sickening sort of grin might have developed if she had let it carry through. But she hadn’t, simply a twitch to the right corner of her mouth. Durian was the result of destruction. Durian was the name she had adopted after she let herself wither away and die. And who was the careless one? Her who blurted her need for his death or him for blurting his deplorable race? It was possible they were both careless. Or maybe he just wanted to seem less foolish than he actually was. Misery desired company, afterall. The man was wrong in all other ordeals though. Maybe her mentioning her hatred was foolish, but to worry over her destruction or to think she found satisfaction in a fight didn’t exist. The Kagami still didn’t breathe a word. He had a point in her speaking too freely. So she owed him no answers to his useless questions. These pointless questions. There was no kinship anymore. No assistance for a job well done nor somewhat friendly chastising of ideals. Durian felt nothing but hatred for this man. “Your apologies are nothing but empty words.” The red-eyes alien would state flatly. Her anger was subsiding, but her disgust was not. Bringing her hands to her pockets in her slacks, she’d take a slightly more relaxed stance. He was trying to bond. To get something between them. Durian wasn’t really sure why. He held power over her and he had already shown more experience in fighting as well. The reason as to why he wanted to point out similarities was lost to her, even if they were weak. They weren’t the same. He could try to force that all he wanted, but they weren’t. “As long as one speck of Saiyan blood still pumps through live veins, I will find no solace. Having you toy with me in your dance and joy of violence won’t help me hate you less or vent my anger. And talking to a Saiyan holds no value to me either.” Dismissing him, the female was done with his presence. Gloved hands still within the pockets of her black slacks. She turned away from the man and the home she had been fighting to protect and rid of reptilian vermin. Taking a few steps down a worn trail before she found her steps faltering. Halted. A word caught her ear. One that caused her to pause for a mere moment as she tried to fathom that it wasn’t the same person. Her eyes had returned to their dull grey as she was dismissing Levlidian and leaving. They remained grey now as she took her time in turning her body once again to face the man. Lips tight together, even if not totally obvious past her mask, it would be known that she was curious if it was the same person. Irritatingly curious. “Hinawa. Short. Fox ears and tail. Turns to fire for defeating her foes?” There could be many earthlings named Hinawa. It’s what Durian was banking on. A misunderstanding with a dense and dumb Saiyan. "You don't get to decide what is empty of what I speak, you can interpret it that way if you like but it only makes you wrong," a meek shrug followed the utterance that crept from within his maw, "I'm not here to convince you one way or the other, I came to help someone out, if this is a job of yours I don't want anything from it so don't worry about what ever pay you're claiming; you can lie and say you did it yourself, I'm fairly sure you can convince others as easily as you convince yourself,". It was apparent he was barking up the wrong tree trying to convince this woman of his integrity. What ever had happened in the past was so finely grained into every aspect of this person, it was clear it created the condemning nature out of a Kagami and it was a stubborn one. Why was he trying to even have a conversation at all, perhaps there was a part of him that still wanted to prove something to someone; a trait of his he now cursed within his own mind.
However, the body language Durian conveyed replaced her aggravation with indifference, a start, he'd suppose at least she was humouring the Saiyan despite such vile glares. Except they weren't as bitter as before, perhaps confusion had settled in as to why her hated foe was acting so very amicable. Crimson faded to grey and a deep inhalation followed from the beast, some progress, for the most part but he'd take it as a positive move forward. However such would falter as the Kagami evaded the notion of a continued conversation to leave and what right did he have to hold her here?
"The one and the same, I suppose you know of her as well? I shouldn't be surprised, perhaps you met her through Emer, I've heard the man can be evasive, mysterious, why wouldn't you be drawn to one of your species that embodies strength," Durian had paused, once again Levlidian had her by what he knew. A strange development to be sure and yet; something inside his mind pushed him on. Be it curiosity, be it a deeply embedded drive to show he wasn't just some brute; on the inside he wore a scowl at the realisation that these reasoning painted him in a weaker light than he'd like. "I'd like to point out, Kagami, that I'm not here to take joy out of destroying you in combat. I'd like to help but honestly acting the idiot and asking stupid questions seems to be running dry so I'll give it to you plainly,"
"You have no reason to hate me, well, besides my blood line which is a weak excuse to dwell on what ever it is you think is so important, if you find no value in my conversation you sure do have an odd way of showing it; I just think you're looking for excuses to be bitter and angry. It's a very teenager thing to seek just to justify your not letting go of a terrible past," this was only going to come across poorly, since he'd worked so hard to be kind and was getting no where; the Saiyan chose to call her out instead. "Likening me to those that held you captive? I had nothing to do with your kind, I was born to a low-class warrior and I had no idea your people even existed had Aina and Hinawa not outlined it to me; even they came to accept I wasn't like my predecessors. Though to claim I have no value to offer to your talking to me, that is arrogant and disrespectful though i'm not sure what I expected from you people," removing his hands, the beast supplied his rear crown with each palm and betrayed a broad grin.
"You're no better than the Saiyan's you hate so much, hating just because you can with no rhythm or real reason besides what you conjure in your head, even Aina, was willing to accept that not every Saiyan was as bad as she remembered her captors being mostly as she didn't want to turn -into- one of those sorts of people. I assume you do? Would you enslave my entire race just to get revenge? Are you planning to kill us all just as Emer did before you? If so, how on Earth does that even begin to make your people any different from mine? I want a real answer and if you don't give me one I'm just going to assume you're a coward," tall words but not an ounce carried any form of aggression or bitterness, the majority carried with a positive flow."So, lets try this again as equals, put all that bitter rage on hold and prove you're not just something my predecessors created," the grin widened, "I'm Levlidian, I'm a Saiyan who prefers to be taken as a Human being, I'm a friend of Kagami and a trainee of Hinawa's; what's your name, Kagami?"
This, could only go badly.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD He gave up that information so easily. One and the same. Durian was mostly unimpressed, though maybe a bit confused why he would answer so readily. When moments ago she was leaving him and saying that his words didn’t matter. He didn’t withhold them to prove a point or make her angry, he just spoke. But maybe he shouldn’t speak so freely. As she was turning in her mind how he might know Hinawa. If Hinawa was somehow setting her up with a Saiyan to get back to Vegeta, Levlidian had to mention Emer. That name sparked a moment of recognition as well, but there was also painful bitterness. Both Emer and Hinawa had left her without a word. She couldn’t really blame them as she didn’t know what had occurred. She would have to thank them for even strengthening her a little. But... there was still some deep seeded feeling of abandonment. Her own kind leaving her to wait in the desert without a hope of return. “There is no help for me to be found in a Saiyan.” She replied instantly and bluntly. What she wanted was their death. And if he was going to speak to her, irritate her, and continue to push to do so, he wasn’t helping. She didn’t care if he found her excuse weak. She didn’t care he found her foolish. For he was the one who would end up dead in the end. Quite possibly with her death as well. He didn’t want to be grouped with those of his race, but that was too bad. He had already showed their nature. He was no different. He just had a different past. When he would call her arrogant and disrespectful, the female wouldn’t be able to help but smirk. Had she gotten under this Saiyan’s skin? The poor, poor Saiyan. It must be such a shame to have people not buckle at his power and worship his very existence. He rambled on. And on. Trying to tear her down. Trying to break her. Trying to find some flaw in how she thought. The truth was... it would be very difficult to do. Durian’s existence was to end his race. However she could. Whenever she could. With whatever reason she had. Anything that wasn’t hatred was pulling from someone else entirely, in a way of thought. Pulling towards who she once was and turned away from. Salak A single word in the calmest and softest voice that one could imagine, would only be heard in Durian’s head. Yet it remained unnoticed and uncared for by the blinded in hatred Kagami. Levlidian almost had her there. Almost had her beginning to think she should attack him. The red hadn’t returned to her eyes, but she was contemplating. She did think she could tear off her jacket and rip into the power of her goddess to attain more power. Equals. Laughable. They would never be equals. But the thing that would turn her more fully away from her total hate and anger would be another amusing comment. Prove you’re not just something my predecessors created. Durian would laugh. Hard and bitterly, the Kagami nearly didn’t hear the rest of what he said. “I am one hundred percent something that your kind have created. I would never enslave you. I want to end you. For with every bit of Saiyan blood there is the drive to conquer. To battle. To destroy. I’ll match that need and drive to make sure your kind is gone forever. Never to harm the Kagami again. Never to take them or anyone else captive. And then I’ll die, for I’ll have served the purpose that I was created for. You can think me a coward. You can think me horrible. You can think whatever you damn well please.” There was still a sickening smile clinging to her lips. Hateful. Bitter. Amused. And the tiniest bit hurt, one thing she wouldn’t realize was there. “I’m Durian, I’m a Kagami who separated herself from who she was and her goddess. I’m a friend to no one and fight alone. Does that quench your curiosity, Saiyan?” Levlidian ---------------------------- PL - 9,167 => HW 2,291 KP - 3/3 Techs Used = Energy Sensing [UT] Due to her goddess and her awareness of her own ki, she is capable of feeling the natural energy of living beings, she has an understanding of the power level of other non-android warriors and can feel the power of the attacks they are using compared to her own. Well, she was consistent he'd give her that but despite his goading there seemed no real way to earn this Kagami as an ally, well, anything -he- could do. Another issue lay in her announcement, true enough his curiosity was sated but now she acted a blockade for his own intentions. These intentions he'd seldom relinquished to many but at the moment Lev' conceded that allies were going to be needed. There for, extreme measures were going to need to be implemented. There was potential in working with this one, she carried a hatred he'd not seen before and should that bleed into combat; a real animal could possibly strengthen the possibility of the intentions.
Levlidian's grin shortened, it hadn't worked, he looked apologetic before nodding, this was obviously going to spin in circles unless he placed his foot down and ceased the mind games. Sure enough, lording verbal superiority over this one wasn't going to work. Despite he having conquered his own demons up to this point she was clearly not willing to do the same. Lowering his arms, his brow sinking into one of concentration. "I am truly sorry to hear you've thrown your lot in with them," and in that moment debris burst clear from beneath his heels, the stone cracked and his form drew taught with the concentration. "Unfortunately, killing the Solar Empire is my goal, this makes us rivals more than enemies but I can't allow you to eliminate my target," the blood red Ki blossomed around his bastion like an inferno that licked angrily at the blue skies.
"Unlike you, I'm doing it for no one but me, I agreed to help Hinawa and Emer because it pushed me one step closer to my goal. You were right, of course, only battle between those who respect one another can be beautiful. This will be a blood bath but if you insist on going against me or getting in my way; I'm going to have to eliminate you," a further crack emanated as he tapped into a deeper sensation of power, "of course," his lips curled, "You could help me, there's no need to be friends in order to be allies. I just need you for your blood lust, maybe Hinawa can show you a way to grow," with a meek shrug, "Though from what i've seen, you're going to be a hard head about it,"
"So, the choice is yours. Work with me or die here, I know full well I hold traits of a typical Saiyan but you're mistaken if I care. To a degree, the power and the arrogance have their uses but I'm going to be the one that kills the Queen and her men; you can be sure about that," he hoped that this would be enough, he actually hoped she'd not call upon his bluff as he tapped into that Saiyan blood of his; applying a show only the hot blooded apes could create. The truth, honestly, was that one demon remained dancing in his head playing the fiddle. That was the fact that if the Solar Empire hadn't existed then everything in this Universe would have worked out for the better; it was his duty to destroy it.

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD There was a nod. It seemed he got what he wanted. The smirk upon her face lost some bitterness and got a moment of satisfaction. Now he could be done with her as she was done with him. They could both walk away for now and she could take his life when she had the actual ability to... At least, that’s what the Kagami had hoped. Those hopes would be dashed at his next display. His power growing exponentially. Ki swirling around him and the very Earth cracking. That same fear grasped her again. Not readily shown on her face, but the quickening of her heart would never lie. This was not a man she could take in battle. shit...But his words weren’t something she really understood. “Dead is dead. By my hand or yours, either way, when the Saiyans are all dead I’ll be at peace.” It really didn’t bother her if he went and destroyed those he wished of his own Saiyan blood. She had no claim over killing any individual Saiyan. She also didn’t and wouldn’t turn down assistance in that ultimate goal. It didn’t surprise Durian that he said he was doing it for him. When did Saiyans ever do anything for someone else? All others were as stepping stones. Just like Emer and Hinawa were to him. Levlidian was a Saiyan. He could spout love and goodness all he wanted, but he was as black-hearted as the rest of them. The female took a step back as he mentioned eliminating her. She should have seen this coming. Lies spouting from the beginning about simply wishing to speak. It was her own foolish nature to turn back and ask about Hinawa. Her stupidity for staying in the area when she knew he was a Saiyan. Taking another step back, the dull-eyes Kagami would consistently scan over his form. He was too pleased by his upper hand. His strength over her. He was just sickening. Shrugging her shoulders as if his power meant nothing. As if his threat meant nothing, the female would begin to turn. Slow in fashion, but keeping her eyes upon him. If he came for her, she would need to be ready. It was a bluff of her own to not care. To act as if she didn’t believe he’d come to kill her. As well as give in. “Use me as a stepping stone as I will you. Let me finish my job and then you can take advantage of my bloodlust.” With her words she’d then turn away from him, taking those steps once again to leave the area and head back to the city. If she turned in her job, spoke that it was done and was paid, she could go back into hiding. The Earth held many places to live and exist, she could hide among the people of this planet from Levlidian as well as any other Saiyan she had avoided for years.
