An Old General's Vision
Thread PL: 253,593 Resonance + Racials: 3,043,116 Ki Suppress: 7,000 Hideaki: 50,000 Lord Retsu Abzerute Arcose. A hell hole the likes of which Noxa had always held tied with the most keen animosity in mind. Of course, she had little reason of her own for that animosity. It was simply something ingrained into her consciousness — a literal imprint; she was, after all, one of 300 units whose purpose was to drive back an invasion from the Arcosian Empire.
She never did fulfill her purpose.
That is why coming to Arcose now felt so bizarre. Noxa’s thoughts turned to Zilyana less and less frequently. With each passing day, as she adjusted more and more to Earthly society, Zilyana faded more and more into her background. Her life there had been long and arduous, and she was more than happy to leave it all behind.
Yet, since Lord Retsu handed Noxa his proposition… It was all that she could think of. The entire ride over Noxa felt something deep stirring within her. She was never fond of Arcosians, but to be in their home…
The question as to why she requested Zilyana’s ownership from Lord Retsu, should their mission be successful, was also a slight mystery to her. It had come as a sort of an afterthought at the time, but oddly enough it was the thing that now meant the most to her.
The woman had never been good with emotions, often pushing them down to deal with them later. This was no different in theory, but in practice it was hard to keep the mind busy and think of something else when you are within a space pod racing through the empty cosmos, with only its impossible vastness to keep company. Of course, her massive canine companion was there too — serving as a sort of fluffy beanbag for Noxa. He, however, offered little respite from her mental turmoil; having fallen asleep the moment they jumped into the space pod.
The woman touched down not far from Retsu, and was a little too eager to leave her pod. Eager to find something else to occupy her mind, and wipe away the quivering anxiety at her gut. The first piece of stimuli to hit her was the bone-chilling coldness of this world. It was much like Zilyana, in the sense there was nothing to admire aside from an all-ending environmental factor; the only difference is that where Zilyana was hotter than Retsu’s temper, Arcose was colder than Rafar’s sense of humor. The woman rushed to Lord Retsu’s power level and allowed him to lead the way.
She had taken the shape of a random Arcosian —it looked very much like Retsu, but with colors shifting more towards the darker side of the color spectrum, as well as several capped her power — both having been done long before she had so much as left Earth. She had insisted Retsu done the same in regards to his power level. Well, at least until they reached their destination.
After all, they didn’t need any unnecessary complications.

It was rare that Retsu ever felt genuine emotion. In fact some might say the only thing he ever truly felt was anger, or the occasional moment of pride. Yet upon seeing Arcose in all its glory. It made the Arcosian Lord just a tad bit Nostalgic. His time in the academy were some of his best years. The triumphs, the training, and most importantly, the promotions. Getting to the rank of General had been a challenge, but he's glad he completed it. As his pod came through the atmosphere a problem arose. A piece of his pod broke off and resulted in part of the pod catching fire. It crashed, as most pods did, though the fire would act as a beacon.
The door to the pod ended up getting kicked clean off as Retsu got out of it, patting his form down as he did so. He climbed out of the crater and turned, firing a ki blast at the wreckage of his space pod, which in turn caused it to fall into pieces. His scouter warned him of Noxa's approaching power though he didn't look in her direction. He stood on the edge of the crater and took in a deep breath. The frigid air, the dark skys. He was home.
As Noxa came upon him he nodded to her before his aura covered him and he lifted off the ground. He looked about quickly before heading into the sky. He remembered this place so well. It had been years since he had been back here and yet he remembered all of it. He looked back to Noxa to check if she was following him, before heading straight for the Arcosian Palace. No doubt their Target would be waiting there.
Upon Landing at the Palace doors he sighed. It was really happening. Part of him couldn't believe it, but it was. He looked back to Noxa, and motioned for the door before he pushed it open.
He hoped Abzerute would be inside.

PL: 103,288 Heavy Weights: ON Weighted PL: 25,822 Form: Supressed
The bronze Arcosian sighed as he looked at the monitor beside him. Ever since he'd restored Arcose to its proper place as the throne-world of the Arcosian Empire, he'd been monitoring any and all traffic into the system, watching and waiting for any signs of intruders. So far it had just been the usual trade routes becoming re-established between the Empire's worlds, the occasional smuggler, nothing of consequence. This however... this felt different. It was on a direct course for the city and carried the signature of an interstellar pod... and it wasn't alone. Two pods, bearing straight for the city. Abzerute sighed and shook his head. "They're not even trying to hide their approach... how utterly foolish." he muttered to himself before flicking a finger. The guards began to disperse to the surrounding region, exiting the palace and securing the area around it... if whoever was coming wanted to visit so badly, the least he could do was be an accomodating host. Of course, that didn't mean he was going to be an idiot about the whole thing. He kept his weighted armour on for now... no sense in giving his unknown opponent the advantage of preemptive knowledge of his power level. With a predictable thud outside, the bronze Emperor guessed that that was his foe arriving at his literal doorstep. A silent alarm triggered in his scouter, letting him know that the door was being opened, and as such activated his audio transmitter to fill the halls of the palace. "So, I was wondering how long it was going to take before one of the old nobility decided to step in after I'd done all the actual work." he said over the microphone. "Please, do come in. I'll be waiting in the throne room. I am curious however... I was expecting Wyntre to be the one to make this little dramatic appearance, given the fact that Arcose was restored and such, the same way that Namek was." said Abzerute, peering at the man through the camera's he'd installed in the corridors. "And I see you've brought an ally as well... Did he promise you a planet or something my dear if you helped him take my place? Or is it the other way around I wonder?" the bronze Arcosian mused as he observed their progress through his halls. "Allow me to ask you this, whichever one of you it was that came up with this plan to dethrone me..." he said, observing their reactions to his words, if they had any that was. "Why only now hmm? If you believe that you are the one better suited for this job, then why weren't you the one going from planet to planet, restoring order, getting the little lords and ladies to bend the knee? Ending the civil war that they had begun in their power struggle? Where were you in all of this I wonder, oh great and glorious "true" leader?" Abzerute asked, rather sardonically and with a hint of a snarl. "If you actually cared one iota, you would be the one sitting here already, not me. Instead, you believe that you should claim the throne after someone else has done all the dirty work... because of what? Some title that was handed down to you? Pathetic." he said, as he waited for them to arrive. He looked each of them over through the cameras and his linked scouter, getting a gauge for their levels as well as running them through every facial recognition database that was still functional... It didn't appear as if the darker hued Arcosian was wearing any weighted clothing, but then again he recalled Beryl Roarkes little weight device resembled simple jewellery, so he couldn't discount that as a possibility just yet. However, if that wasn't the case and this was their full power in that form... then the one Abzerute had to be cautious of was perhaps the other one. Presuming that the darker hued one wasn't suppressing their power further as well. It was a shame that the Arcosoid Program wasn't at full capacity yet... the machine would barely serve as a paperweight in this situation. No, in this situation he had to gauge who it was that wanted the throne, and work to counter-offer the accomplice. One of them he could possibly take on, but both of them? Far too many variables... Where the hell was Captain Friion when he actually needed him? This sort of situation was ideal for the Friion Force... assuming this little bastard wanting to claim his hard-earned throne hadn't bought him off as well. That would just be the icing on top of this damnable cake, now wouldn't it?

Leaving her stealth pod behind, Noxa and Retsu allowed things to take their natural course. She noticed a lot more activity
She found all of the activity on Arcose to be far lesser than she would’ve expected. Still, eventually, the woman and her partner found themselves within the city, and eventually still entering the palace. She wasn’t used to this architecture — it was as alien and bizarre as the climate. Still, she had better things to focus on, like the massive voice on the megaphone. It had apparently learned of their arrival — the planet must not get a lot of traffic if they monitored every pod.
The voice, however, didn’t stop Noxa. She did, however, listen to it. She wasn’t sure who this ‘Wyntre’, was … But it sounded like Arcosian drama, though his assumptions weren’t far off. She wasn’t entirely sure how he managed to make all of those right assumptions, but for the most part, they were right.
Still, his invite into the throne room was rather nice — and that’s where the group went. Noxa kept her wits about her while they traversed the capital. The minutia of the bizarreness that was the Arcosian form was something she did her best not to pay attention to; the lack of hair made her feel naked and vulnerable, but it was far from a significant thing — not something to be exploited, as she made sure to be ready at any moment. It was especially the case when a rather powerful literal guard dog remained at her heels, panting as she walked behind the duo.
Into the palace, they went; towards the throne room they headed.

Retsu sighed as they entered the Palace. He looked about slowly, and motioned for Noxa to stay close. As the intercom came on however he looked around slowly. A frown came across his face. How did he know of their plan? He hadn't told anyone but Noxa. And there was no way Noxa could have sent him a message. Something fishy was going on, however Retsu didn't lose his cool. "Your claims are quite rude I must say. Thinking I've come to take your throne. I'm afraid you are quite mistaken. I am a General of the Arcosian Empire, and as such I've come to speak with you of a few policies we could enact to help with the recovery of our people. After all, we are nothing without our people. We are only as strong as our weakest, some would say." He motioned to Noxa. " And this? This is my daughter. Nitrogena. She's accompanying me so she may learn of politics, as her desire is to be an ambassador for our people, so we may make allies as we had before the fall of Arcose." As he made his way through the palace, thankfully invited by Abzerute himself Retsu strode forward. He had a confident swagger in his step, and despite Abzerute's words it didn't slow. "Again, I don't know why you seem to think that I am here to dethrone you. Though if you are offering I would be quite honored to take the position. As for why I haven't been going planet to planet, I've been rather stranded on earth. The pod I used to get here was badly damaged in my landing there and I had to get it repaired. Once it was operable I headed here as soon as I could. My loyalty to the Empire is as undying as my distaste for Saiyans."He paused before the Throne room door, tapping his scouter a few times before he pushed the door to the throne room open. "Good Evening, Emperor." He spoke. He came to stop halfway to the throne before bowing. "I do apologize if our arrival seemed so... Forceful."

The bronze Arcosian Emperor listened to Retsu's words as he walked through the corridors, the recognition software confirming his identity about him being a former General as well as his name and title... what it didn't confirm however was the presence of his apparent daughter Nitrogena. That could of course be put down to the system still being fixed and updated since Arcose's destruction had cut it off from the primary mainframe, a system error as it were with corrupted and missing files. But if that wasn't the case however... then it meant that this Nitrogena was the accomplice, and Retsu was the one seeking the power. But all things in due time. He would discover the truth of it.
Abzerute observed them as they entered, considering the man's words before he entered the throne room. He gave a light chuckle and a dismissive wave. "I've been a little... on edge as you could imagine General Retsu." the Emperor explained for his theory, tapping his Scouter a little to explain his knowledge of the man's name without him having given it. "Governing an empire composed of four star systems, whilst restoring this world and Empire to full power and functionality has been somewhat taxing. It's left very little room for error or sleep." he said, partially lying about the lack of sleep in order to lure the man into a false sense of security. "And as I mentioned before, with Arcose having been revived the same way as Namek had been... well, I've been expecting the former Empress Wyntre to be making her own appearance any day now to reclaim the throne. You know what a love for drama that woman has..." said Abzerute before he looked towards this Nitrogena in person.
"I do find it curious... perhaps its simply down to faulty record keeping from the previous administration, but it seems there's no record of you having existed. Daddy's dirty little secret perhaps?" he asked, a sly look towards Retsu along with a chuckle before he stopped. "The politics of nobility don't concern me however, so I don't really care if you're "legitimate" or not. Something that I'd made clear to the leaders of the other systems when I brought them to heel... they can play their little games, so long as it doesn't distract or derail from their duty to the Empire." he stated, enforcing his words as he spoke. He leaned back in his throne, looking Retsu over and taking his measure.
"Now then, to the business at hand then. Lady Nitrogena, I would suggest your first port of call if you're to be an ambassador would be back on Earth and to rendezvous with my agent there, Captain Koldar. At his last transmission he had managed to ingratiate himself with Earth's current Premiere, and as such would be an ideal route for you to take." said the bronze Arcosian, looking over towards Retsu after speaking with his daughter. "The re-affirmation of the Arcose Earth treaty would be most agreeable, wouldn't you say General?" he said, wondering how either of them would react to this little tidbit of information.
"As for the Saiyans, it's come to my attention that Zucceta has stepped down from her position of power, and placed a new Queen on the throne. One whom I've already had the pleasure of meeting and briefly fighting with before, back on Kanassa..." he said, letting the words sink in for a moment before he continued. "I wonder, as future ambassador for the Arcosian Empire, how do you think we should proceed with this transition Lady Nitrogena?" he inquired of Retsu's accomplice. He already had a plan in mind in regards to the newly crowned Queen Habana, but he wondered how Nitrogena and Retsu would respond... and if they were genuine in their desires to serve him, or if his paranoia was being accurate this time around.

‘Only four star systems?’ The apparent ‘Nitrogena’ found herself wondering. That seemed a little lower than what she remembered; in her mind the Arcosian empire had ruled most of the known galaxy — then again, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if her perception of things had been severely warped. After all, she had only come to realize that the planet had indeed been eradicated recently, and she still wasn’t sure why.
More to the point — she wasn’t sure how in the hell a planet was simply ‘restored’. Whatever the Arcosians had at their fingertips surely must’ve been impressive technology, if it was capable of terraforming — or outright returning planets from dust.
Definitely not the kind of thing she’d like to get on the bad side of.
Still, she did hope that these discussions would get to the point already. Sure, she was getting paid to be here as a guard dog with her actual dog, but this place was freezing — even inside the palace. This planet just didn’t seem to be the kind of place Noxa would really enjoying spending time at, and thus she wanted to leave as soon as these negotiations were over.
It wasn’t until the smart-mouth bronze Lord directly addressed Noxa that she found herself taking an eye-to-eye approach to the whole thing. She knew she shouldn’t really be caring about any of this political crap… And to a successful degree, she didn’t; the Heran blood pumping through her at the moment was doing a great job at keeping her alert, and her senses atoned mostly on the environment, in case of any unexpected events. It wasn’t until that Abzerute called her Lord Retsu’s ‘dirty little secret’ that she sudden urge to slap the scouter off his face swelled inside the woman.
How dare he say that to her?! That disgusting, filthy, damn space lizard.
It took Noxa a moment to realize she wasn’t actually Lord Retsu’s kid. It didn’t take long for her to realize that whatever urges churned in her gut were a result of her imprints coupled with said Heran tendencies. None the less, she managed to keep relatively cool.
Thanks to the treacherous nature of shape shifting, the woman’s face looked as stoic and rigid as a mask this entire time. Not a hint of emotion. The same couldn’t be said about Mr. Floofs, who had managed to sit besides the standing Noxa, happily panting as he watched out for any possible dangers.
Still, she didn’t respond to his question. It wasn’t her place to; she wasn’t here to do any talking or convincing.
Although she did wonder how much of a treaty that was, which allowed Arcose to be destroyed in the first place. Something told her that such a cataclysmic event was only allowed to take place because the leaders were either complacent or inept. Or both.

Retsu let out a chuckle of his own as Abzerute first began to speak. He rose to his feet slowly before speaking as well. "I know of the pains of ruling, my lord. I have dealt with ruling a planet in the past, and it was quite the hurdle to get it back to working order when the war for it was over. But I managed. Even brought the planet's populace into a golden age under my rule. They had been through several wars before I showed up and after that everything went rather well for them." He stayed in his spot, firmly rooted there. He looked towards Noxa for but a moment before looking back to Abzerute. "Empress Wyntre...." He said, a slight hint of disgust in his voice. "Was a weakling, and a fool." He narrowed his eyes. "She was weak and because of such our empire crumbled. I have no love for her..." When the mention of his daughter came up Retsu cleared his throat. "I didn't wish for my enemies to know I had a daughter. So I hid her away on a Yardrat. Because, lets be honest, nothing happens on Yardrat. Its a relatively safe planet." He was silent for a few moments as Abzerute continued. He crossed his arms and sighed. "That is no way to run an Empire. Sure leaving planets to their own devices is nice, but in our time of weakness we should be cracking down on them. Making them aid us in our rebuilding and recuperation. We should also begin amassing an army. Get recruits, train them up, and get them ready for defense or Invasion. Whichever we need first." As Abzerute began speaking to Noxa Retsu crossed his arms. He was prepared for a few things, but this was not really one of them. A quick revision of his strategy was done before he spoke for Noxa. "I'm afraid my daughter is...." He looked to Noxa. "....Frozen with adoration for you.." He shook his head, taking a step towards Abzerute. "For now focus on the task at hand my Lord. I have some important things to speak of."He sighed softly. "Please take no offense when I suggest this. But I believe you should step down. You've done a wonderful job returning the empire's territories... But right now we need something more than that. We should find someone whom can repair our economy, while also focusing on rebuilding our defenses. As it stands, you have done a lot and you've had your time in the lime light...." Retsu frowned. "However, if what you say is true, The very woman who killed our friends and families is still alive. Still free to do as she wants as she runs about the galaxy gallivanting around, free to kill and do as she wants. And, might I bring up the fact that our world was Restored by some means, be it magical or technological. Was that your doing? Did you even personally lift a finger to find a way to solve the destruction that was caused here? Aside from reuniting a few planets, what have you even done in your Rule? I've heard no news of feats, nor have I heard any one praise or even mention your name. What kind of person can sit on a throne and claim they've done so much for the empire, when nothing has been heard or seen of you. Wyntre was a fool. But as you've clearly demonstrated you are Inept. We need someone who can get things done. I have not heard any kind of military mobilization from any part of the Empire. Not for expansion, not for the protection of our surviving citizens, and not to bring justice to the SSE. We should once again be rebuilding this empire. Your hindsight isn't good enough. We need a Leader. Not a boy."
Retsu took a step back and crossed his arms. "Step down, and allow someone else to take the throne."

"On that we can agree." said the Emperor when Retsu spoke of Wyntre, although part of Abzerute's attention was focused on Nitrogena and her reaction, or lack thereof. Her silence spoke volumes, even with her "father" covering for her with his excuse concerning Yardrat. However, then Retsu began to actually speak about politics, to which the bronze Arcosian shook his head. "They have their autonomy, but their efforts are indeed focused on restoring the Empire, specifically its infrastructure and trade routes. There's still a portion of damage from the civil war the fools enacted in their vying for dominance, but it is being rectified." he stated before smirking. "And as you should very well know General, an army marches on its stomach. One cannot marshal up an army and expect it to act at peak efficiency without the proper supplies." he explained. And of course, Retsu proved Abzerute's paranoia wasn't for naught. He allowed the man to go through with his entire speech, the crux of it focusing on the apparent silence of his own name in regards to the galactic stage, as well as Zucceta still having free reign across the galaxy. He let the room fall silent, the last echoes of Retsu's words dying down in the chamber before it was filled with a new sound. The bronze Arcosian Emperor chuckled, slowly clapping his hands all the while. "Bravo. Quite the speech you had prepared there General." he declared, his grin spreading across his face. "And it proves that my plan is working perfectly." Abzerute said, letting those last five words sink in before he continued. "Now I will answer your points in order as you had brought them up. I've already mentioned the economy so we'll skip over that, and we'll come to the military point as a whole." he said, giving a dismissive wave of his hand. "In regards to Zucceta, I've borne witness to her power first hand on Kanassa. She has reached a power beyond that of the Super Saiyans that tore through our Empire the first time... what exactly do you think can be done against her right at this very moment hmm? What would you do, if she were standing right here, right now in front of you?" Abzerute inquired, rather rhetorically because he felt he knew the answer that Retsu would give. "No doubt some meaningless gesture of bravado that would only result in your own demise as well as the demise of the Empire once more. At that time, her power was just under seven million units, give or take a couple thousand with that power beyond a Super Saiyans." stated the Emperor with a shake of his head and a sigh. "But since she has now abdicated her position, you can be sure that there will be more than a few interested parties hunting for her head... the galaxy is a large place, and she'd managed to make enemies out of more than a few individuals." the bronze Arcosian said with a shrug before continuing on. "As for our world's restoration, I did play a role in it. I discovered how to accomplish the task and involved Captain Koldar with procuring the means to do so whilst I worked on ensuring that the recently reunited Empire didn't tear itself apart... trust only goes so far with these political types as I'm sure you can vividly recall from your time in the military General." he said. A lie if there ever was one, but Retsu did not need to know that. Whilst Abzerute had not ordered Koldar to seek the Dragon Balls personally, he figured that the Captain would do so anyway after discovering that Zucceta had been hunting them down, according to the man's transmission to him. And he had been seeking the ones on Namek earlier in order to achieve the same end result of restoring Arcose... so it wasn't a complete lie... entirely. "Now as for why you've not heard of much of me... I don't go around demanding parades or laurels for my actions. I simply do what must be done, and get on with it. It is as simple as that." Abzerute said with a shrug. "The less the galaxy knows, the better. Because that in turn means that our enemies will continue to underestimate us, until the very moment when our claws are wrapped around their throats and they are begging for their lives as they realise their folly." he said, the mirth from earlier gone from his voice, leaving it simply cold. "Now then, the military. The Friion Force has been gathering up troops and training them, but it is not going to be a large armada as you seem to be thinking of. No, they are an elite group and when the time comes will strike hard, strike swift, in such a way that the enemy doesn't realise what has happened until it has already happened." he said, before waving a hand. "And if that is not enough for you, then allow me to indulge you in a project of mine that has recently borne fruit." he said, tapping a button on the throne to emit a holographic image of a certain mechanical Arcosian-esque entity."You wanted an army Retsu, and armies require supplies... supplies that the Empire cannot sustain right now, for an organic army that is." the bronze Arcosian said with a smirk. "A prototype has recently come online, and whilst it could use some more improving and fine-tuning as all prototypes do, you can see the implications General Retsu. An android army, undetectable by the enemies ability to sense energy, each one sheathed in the same material as stealth-pods to make them immune to Scouter detection as well. Infiltrate, and eradicate." the Emperor declared, closing down the holographic image, looking down at Retsu from atop his throne, the smirk present on his face. "Now then General... you can see why I haven't made such sweeping open declarations of movement with military mobilisation and such. By your own declaration of hearing nothing of this before your arrival, the plan is already working." said Abzerute. "You came here, believing that nothing had been accomplished, that the Empire that I have reforged was weak and in need of new leadership, that I was not seeking retribution for the actions of the past... You see only the short-term. You have seen precisely what I want the galaxy, more specifically, what I want the SSE to see." the bronze Arcosian declared with a sweep of his hand, the smirk still present on his features. "What's that expression that Earthlings like to use now and then?" he mused, tapping his chin before grinning a dark grin, his eyes glinting with a twisted light. "Revenge is a dish best served cold. Satisfied?" he inquired, observing the pair of them.

The more this guy rambled the more Noxa’s mind began to drift, much in the way that one’s mind would drift while training or exercising. Her senses remained attuned; her awareness in touch, but her eyes became glassy and distant.
Why was she even here? Noxa outright abandoned her post on Zilyana — no, it was more than that. She devoured 299 NOXA units. The soldier's, armor, specs ops — every single division gone to waste. Including her development team.
She didn’t care about her project.
What did she do after? Certainly not fight off the Arcosians. Well, not directly; she fought anything that looked nourishing, she fought anything that looked threatening. It could be argued that she was part of the reason Zilyanian forces lost — dealing with decaying infrastructure, a scattered military force, as well as a rampaging Bio Android terrorizing its territories.
She didn’t care about the planet.
However, one thing nagged at her now in the same way it always nagged at her when an Arcosian crossed her path: why did she ask for Zilyana as one of her payments? It had come as an afterthought at the time, sure…
She didn’t care about the damn people on the planet.
The woman’s mind continued to wander further. However, soon her thoughts questioned not only her actions, but her very own process of thinking. Outside of her own acknowledgement, the Bio’s every line of thought ended in denial.
She didn’t care.
She COULDN’T care.
That self-contained chamber of increasingly escalating echoes of thought that took place long ago in her battle against Celmaru returned. However, this time there was the Arcosian’s incessant talking to instigate her.
She interrupted his words with her own. Somewhere along the middle of his speech, Noxa snapped.
Noxa, before she could realize what she was doing. Found her lungs filling and her power level spiking. Her Arcosian facade began to crack like a mirror, revealing her true form.“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Her voice roared out in the Emperor’s direction The first few words came off as normal enough, however as ki intensified in her vocal cords, her voice would soon become silent as a conal wave of ki-infused shockwave roared out in front of her. Towards the emperor and beyond.
One would hope these walls were soundproof, otherwise the palace would surely have a good deal of noise complaints.

Retsu had listened to Abzerute's words, thinking carefully on all of them, before opening his mouth to make an argument. That was until Noxa suddenly jumped forth and let out a power he hadn't seen her before. His scouter beeped quickly, warning him of her rising power as he watched the numbers go higher and higher. "I-Incredible! Noxa! I didn't know you had this kind of power! You stand a rival of even Walker's power!" The Arcosian was extremely impressed to say the least. Having an ally with this much power was far more than he bargained for. Moments passed and Retsu suddenly began thinking about possibly giving her more than just one bit of advertising space to keep her satisfied. Once her shout came however he brought a hand up to his uncovered ear and grunted in annoying. It was damn loud, that was for sure. When it finally died down He frowned. "You should of waited for my command to attack him." Said Retsu, whom narrowed his eyes. He sighed shaking his head. " I suppose the only way to truly get things done is Violence. I don't always believe its the best answer, but I suppose this was the only way this was going to be done."

The bronze Arcosian had barely time to blink before he registered the fact that her very words were laced with ki, and the sharp increase in her power almost broke his Scouter! For some reason the world around him began to slow down, the adrenaline suddenly rushing through his body giving him time to consider his options in these brief few seconds. He looked at the power of this Nitrogena... no, Noxa as Retsu had just called her... It was over eight million units of measurement. Damn it. Even if he were to remove his weighted armour, and go straight into his True Form, he wouldn't be anywhere close to the power required to even survive the attack, never mind retaliate against it... maybe if he had trained a little more in evasion techniques or could create some sort of barrier... but alas, that was not the case here.
As he felt his body being obliterated by the sheer power of the woman before him, he gave a slow clap and a bow. "Well played Retsu... well played. I'll await you in the afterlife, if I don't make it out first." he said, his face fixed into a rictus grin. Of course, there was one final act he had to accomplish, just to ensure that Retsu didn't get his hands on anything pertinent to the Dragon Balls. No sense in letting this bastard get his hands on them.
With his final breath before he was erased by Noxa's words of death, he sealed all of the data he had collected and received regarding the mystical wish granting orbs into his ships computer, and then sent the ship off into deep space via auto-pilot, all with the single command phrase via his Scouter that he had prepared for such an occasion, that would also serve as his final words amongst the living. "Damocles."
With that, the bronze Arcosian's body was turned to dust by Noxa's attack, his ashes scattering across the throne chamber and thus Abzerute walked amongst the living no more. His time as Emperor had passed... now the fate of the Arcosian Empire rested in Retsu's hands. That is, if Noxa didn't decide that she would care to give the job a go instead of her employer... a shame he wouldn't be able to witness that particular turnaround, if that were to be the case.
Well, not how I ever envisioned myself being killed off... but yup. I'm dead. Will take PL for this thread with Heavy Weights, DE Bonus and Suppressed Form.

The titan’s howl didn’t simply stop as soon as it met the walls. The throne, as well as a good portion of the castle’s infrastructure would be disintegrated. The banshee’s voice carrying everything in its path into oblivion in her own crude song.
Oddly enough, even with the false emperor gone, her situation didn’t very much improve. If anything, her thoughts became louder. Her power, on the other hand, continued to rise. No longer able to hear her own thinking, the woman’s body acted purely out of instinct.
A muffled, fluctuating, vibrating humm filled the room as Noxa’s wings made themselves known — having erupted from beneath her scarlet mane and through her ‘robes’ seamlessly. Her image vanished, but the strong gust of wind that tugged at Mr. Floofs towards the now wide-open Arcose sky told him that’s where Noxa rushed off to.
Mr. Floofs pounced happily over to where the Arcosian once stood, growling at the nothingness.
“BARK! BORK! BOOF!” He yelped, attempting to immediate the infernal wail that Noxa had just unleashed.
The demonic pup couldn’t feel ki, but a heavy pressure caused him to look up to the skies. He looked just in time to see a white bubble of condensation — a shockwave slowly expanding from a single point. That single point was a glimmer of red, which soon shifted yellow, then blue, before cycling. Around that light was a halo of black — an absence of light. That halo grew out, washing away more and more of the sky’s light while feeling that arcipluvian event horizon.
Arcose’s ground began to shake — a slight tremor that grew more violent by the moment.
Hideaki’s lack of ki sense didn’t detract him from the obvious conclusion at at the epicenter of that cataclysmic turmoil was his Bio Android companion. Using his telepathy, Floofs attempted to get in contact with her.
He winced, as he only got a sharp static laced over a choir-like hymn layered of so many voices he could no longer distinguish the number.
Any scouter pointed at that direction, however, would be able to solve the cryptic event through its power level formula: at the epicenter there wasn’t a singular energy signature — there was 300 major ones, and countless small ones.
The tremor and intensity of both the light and lack there off would, from that point on, begin to fade. The numerous energy signatures as well, leaving only that of Noxa’s at a stable 8,622,162.
From that point, she didn’t return.
Not for a long time.
[Thread Exit. I just realized this thread was started by my on Sunday. If I can retroactively apply the T4shop bonus (as thi was ICly exactly that — a shop job — then I’ll take zeni with DE and and T4. If now I’ll take power level.)

Retsu smiled as he watched Abzerute's body fade away to dust. A sick satisfaction filled him. The plan had gone off with out any major problems. He laughed, and he laughed hard. However his revelry was cut short as Noxa disappeared. He blinked before looking around quickly. Moments later the ground began to shake, causing Retsu to float upwards off the ground. His scouter beeped, telling him of Noxa's power as he turned his head. Was she trying to destroy the planet!? No. No it didn't seem that way. In fact what his scouter was telling him was something he had never seen before. He quickly logged it then turned himself. When the shaking finally stopped he landed and let out a slow sigh. *** Retsu tapped his scouter, broadcasting on every and all channel's he could. He would send a message out to every edge of the universe. He calmed himself before he began speaking.
"People of Arcose, and the Empire. Heed my words. The False Emperor has fallen in combat. He was challenged for his position and fell. He fought long and hard. Honorably even. But he has fallen to my hands. The hands of your new Emperor. The Empire's Reign has been weak that past few generations, and the loss of our home planet didn't make it easier. Under my Rule we will rebuild, and once again grow into the mighty Empire we were. I will lead us to a new and glorious Golden Age. Our People, Our Forces, Our Prosperity. All of them will Reach new heights not yet achieved before. So allow me to guide you to this Promise however I can. All hail the Arcosian Empire. ALL HAIL EMPEROR RETSU!"
And thus a new Emperor's Rule has begun. All hail Emperor Retsu. Asking for power level with Suppressed from Bonus and DE Bonus.
