Polara felt herself slowly coming to, as her cloud faded in and out of view with each struggle to stay alive despite the injury Kaile had done to her. She had given the best fight she could, given it everything she could. But for every attack, it seemed like that woman had a counter. Why couldn’t she have managed to cut off that oozaru’s tail, or prevent her from transforming in the first place? She'd seen herself get devoured after being paralyzed from the waist down, and soon had died after from her body being dissolved by the stomach acids. She'd watched herself be eaten alive..
Her cloud body morphed into an Arcosian torso and head, complete with her arms and as she looked behind her; the barbed tail. Of course she couldn’t do damage, but the weirdest part was she felt.. powerless. Like every inch of power she’d had was just… gone. It left her dazed and confused, floating in place with a ghostly tail where her legs used to be.
“Am… I dead?” She whispered softly, an ogre looking at her silently. “Yes, You are dead miss. Come along with me to the check-in station, you’ll have to wait in line until you’re next to face King Yemma.”
The ghost that was the former ex-general in the living world floated there, stunned for a moment as the realization of her death washed over her. Time seemed to drag by as she moved to her spot in the line amongst other clouds, grieving not for herself, but for her inability to be a proper mother. The loss of her family haunted her, from the day Sleete chased their son to end up having Defrosch go off-world to when the invasion happened, where she’d fought to protect her family.
Her family. The only thing she’d really wanted to protect. Her pain bubbled within her, leaving her grieving over the face she hadn’t been able to grab her son’s space pod and bring her black, white, and teal boy back into her arms. She’d seen him sparingly on Earth, and now being in a separate dimension from him made her heart rip in pain. All she wanted was to hug her son and love her son, and one day find her other two sons and her husband.
Sleete was gone, Northanius was gone, Hay’ll was gone, Polar was gone. Out of everything that happened, her family had been taken away from her. Was this what Karma was? Her judgement would likely be harsh, she felt in in her ghost body. The only thing she wished is that for once, she could have all of her family back together again. “I miss my sons..” She whispered, tears streaking down her cloudy face. “Damn you, Kaile..” She hissed, continuing to let the tears fall.
Another ghost looked back and patted her shoulder, trying to comfort the sad mother the best she could. Of course, it helped a little bit but the void the parental black-and-white Arcosian had was ripping her apart from the inside out. If anything, she had to get back to her son and help him defend the planet in any way she could. She just hoped that, if anything, her youngest son didn’t do anything rash like she did.
Her downfall had been her grief controlling her, that one attack snapping the bracelet and allowing the woman to become an Oozaru, of which killed her soon afterward. Hearing the great Yemma’s voice, the female looked up to the one behind the mahogany desk. “My worst actions would likely have been attempting to murder the sister of the Queen for revenge of her sister destroying my family, and the murder of a Saiyan on Namek to protect a woman named Denim.”
Sighing, she continued with her deeds. At least she’d read the sign unlike most souls, which was some consolation to being able to get this over with the best she could. “My best deeds are attempting to protect my family for all of my years in the living realm. I’ve tried for one hundred and thirty years to keep them safe, and now my sons and husband are scattered across the galaxy for all I know.”
”If I may make a request before my judgement, Yemma-Daio, Please tell me this before I go either way. Have you seen Northanius, Hay’ll, or Sleete? They’re all my family, and Sleete is my husband. I need to know if you have seen them, if you haven’t, it means they’re still out there, and I can find them once I return.. Thank you for listening.”
With that, she’d close her mouth and wait to be judged, indifferent to either way she went, because it was something she couldn’t control.
