The young woman felt it as her strike carried through, sinking deep into Levlidian’s lower back. His weight shifted and he flew forwards as the woman planted her feet firmly. Tulip let out a long breath, steam rising through the cold air. She hadn’t expected the blow to be that effective, as the woman slowly began refocusing her ki and strength. Unsure what came next, the young woman opened her stance and waited for the next volley of attacks. A small bead of sweat ran down her cheek to her chin, where it hung. It finally fell, creating a small dot of moisture on the shattered earth at the woman's feet. It’s been too long; what is Levlidian plotting? I shouldn’t have done that much damage; he is so much stronger than me. I should prepare- SHIT! Tulip’s thoughts were interrupted as the ground at her feet exploded. The huge man had shot through the cliff under her feet in order to get the jump on her. The ground began cracking and falling towards the valley below as the woman stumbled back attempting to gain distance. The Saiyan warrior was clearly pissed. Her hands blurred outwards, attempting to block every strike that came her way. She was losing ground rapidly, as her silver aura was slowly overwhelmed by the swirling fury of his red Ki. Narrowing her focus, she retracted all of her ki into her body and focused solely on deflecting the attacks. Swatting and knocking every blow that flew her way in order to prevent damage, the woman managed to prevent the man from decisively ending the battle here. His Ki shifted, completely enveloping the woman. The air suddenly dropped in temperature, as the woman felt all of the man’s savage and primal focus channel into one strike. Not gonna be able to swat this one aside, dammit! Her emerald gaze located the attack, a fist rising for an uppercut. Bringing both of her arms forward in a cross-guard, Tulip’s gaze shot up to Levlidian, to face the man’s eyes. Wait..his gaze is on my...DAMMI- Tulip’s thought was cut off as the man’s fist sank into her chest. Spit flew from the hybrid’s mouth as the attack landed solidly with all of the man’s strength. Air driven from her lungs, it was all Tulip could do to stand. She couldn’t breath or focus, as the attack compounded with the damage from the punch earlier in the fight. Levlidian’s body blurred from view, right before his kick slammed into her jaw, snapping her head to one side. He returned to facing her and threw another punch. This one buried itself deep into Tulip’s stomach, causing the girl’s stomach and muscles to lock up. Another lightning fast strike slammed into her thigh before she fell, fracturing her leg without the ki-guard she had lost in the initial strike. Her vision fading, Tulip slowly fell to her knees. Collapsing forward onto her hands, the woman began retching from the sudden powerful attack. That...almost killed me! But...I can’t lose like this. He’s holding back. This is no longer training...this is a battle of pride. She felt something different in her mouth, before spitting it out. There was blood flaking her saliva. Internal damage...I still have 3 senzu, but they're not the sporting thing to use. Anyway… Tulip took a shivering breath, before slowly pushing herself to her feet. Her legs were shaking from the last impact, as the woman glared at the man. She had heard a crack, felt the shift in his aura. Even if it had slipped the man’s crazed notice, the young woman had sensed it. ...this is too much fun to end in the same way the first match went. Sliding her feet through the shattered rubble, the woman gazed heavenward. A little bit of blood tinged the edge of her lips, as she tried to steady her breathing. There was a slight tremble in her arms and legs, specifically the one that the huge saiyan had struck. Her emerald eyes were filled with pain, as she struggled to regain her composure and control over her aura. When her ki returned, it blanketed her body, a faint silver visible to the man and the young woman. It swirled around her, as she slowly lowered her gaze and stared into the man’s obsidian gaze. A savage glint sparkled through her emerald eyes, as she chose the best route left to her. Shifting her feet into a stance, the woman slowly smiled and muttered. “Still hit like a bitch; where’s the punch at, big guy?”

Rage blanketed his mind and blood surged through the confines of their veins creating a steady rhythm within his ears, all about him the infernal red ki derived an almost sentient appearance whilst his obsidian eyes dilated. What did she just say? A flash of his Father's complexion snared his opponent from him and grinned in return. What did she just say? he snarled enclosing his fist with a bastion of power in which he began to shake the very ground with its power. "I'm no BITCH!" he roared as the stone about him crumbled beneath the frequency of the vibrating molecules. His power level skyrocketed, peaking at it's maximum and tearing further at the terrain.
Calm down his own voices sounded within the confines of his blood craving mind, Levlidian calm the fuck down, no it wasn't his, it was feminine, familiar. The red began to spark, engulf with a flare of gold and his mane erected leaving but simple threads about his brow. Even the air couldn't stomach the sheer intensity of the manipulation his electromagnetic field was portraying. With an almighty roar he unleashed the golden aura of hsi False Super Saiyan form and swang his emblazoned fist hard towards Tulip. Even as he swung, the force itself resonated with his golden Ki, serpents coiled and writhed with the force and encircled those bloodied knuckles seeking rest upon the opponent that wobbled before him.
Then Lily spoke again; "Levlidian!" he froze, knuckles mere inches from Tulip's eye socket, in the moments he'd lost control the entirety of his form had swallowed into the solid, vibrant and aggressive hum of his ki appearing like a blur before her. Moments passed and the flames died down, Levlidian's once tense muscles loosened allowing his arm to fall to his side and in the same moment, step backwards into an upright position. Finally, he could see Tulip clearly again, a steady rise and fall of his chest betrayed exhaustion whilst pearls of sweat trailed down his complexion. Falling back into it's messy, spined formation came his chocolate mane and his ki had completely dissipated.
However, it was not aggression sat in his brow but guilt, fear and soon he'd divert his gaze from the young hybrid folding his arms; no sooner had he betrayed the shame he'd hidden it behind and arrogant sneer. "That was foolish," he muttered upon a low tone of voice, there was nothing more to be said as he stood amongst that rubble. Tulip was hurt, badly hurt and again he'd found another level to his rage he just couldn't control. All it had taken for a woman who knew no better to utter the same words his Brother had once and he was ignited into a terrifying temper. However, stubbornness ceased this apology he knew that was owed. "Can you walk?" came a question lacking the confidence and conviction he'd once owned.
[Powerlevel 105,000] FSSJ Activated for a brief period pushing it beyond 610,000 Ki Intimidation added with his rage increasing it further to a cosmetic 915,000 Ki reduced to a meer 500 at deactivation.]

Trying to maintain her composure, the woman waited for his reaction. His ki shifted slightly, as the man’s eyes widened in shock. There was a sharp crack in the air and Tulip almost crumpled as the man’s ki shot out. Holding one fist out, the air around it vanished in a ball of crackling crimson energy. The ground began destroying itself as the huge Saiyan warrior roared in rage. His full strength then came out, further pushing the hybrid down under its sheer weight. The entire area began shaking underfoot, as the woman struggled to maintain her breathing under the sheer weight of his ki. “I’m no BITCH!” Rage was written on his face as he walked forward, lifting his fist. Tulip couldn’t make her body move, only realizing then that her body was going into overdrive, frantically trying to escape the situation she was in. He was moving so fast her body was frozen in comparison. Her strength was too weak, she couldn’t even lift a finger to stop the attack. Golden aura began melding with his red aura that more than enveloped the two, as his hair rose from his brow. The air was being thinned by the sheer amount of energy the man was creating. The woman couldn’t breathe, couldn’t speak, as the man prepared to thrust his fist forward. Golden energy tinted the fist he was preparing to throw at the woman.Tears began forming on the corners of her emerald eyes, as she realized that she had messed up this time. No one is going to save me...not this time...not now A sudden crack filled the air, as her entire body tensed reflexively from the attack. Her vision was filled by his fist, a singular attack bent on destroying her. The pain would come at any moment, an instantaneous prelude to death and nothingness. The tears were flowing freely now, as the woman realized the Saiyan warrior had stopped his attack just shy of her face. A wet spot slowly spread under the woman, before she collapsed backwards. Her breathing became fast as she struggled to slow her rapidly beating heart. The tears spilling from her eyes wouldn’t stop, as the woman did her best to not sob. She began hiccuping in shock as she struggled to regain her composure, before glancing up at the Saiyan warrior. His hair had returned to normal, but an arrogant sneer filled his face. “That was foolish.” He muttered under his voice. Tulip felt her heart skip a beat; this wasn’t the same feeling from before, but one of fear. A sudden twinge shot through the woman’s head, sending a resounding crack through her mind. Something dark was threatening to overwhelm the young woman, something terrifying she couldn’t grasp. She could barely hear his other words, as the woman dragged herself across the rocks. Grabbing his leg, she hugged the limb seeking warmth and comfort, before whispering. “I’m scared. There’s something...something terrifying...in my head.” Looking up at Levlidian, there was a sincere look of terror in Tulip’s green eyes, something the man had probably never witnessed on the girl’s face. Tears left her cheeks red and eyes swollen, as the girl shivered and clung to the warrior she had been facing gallantly only minutes before. Her potential had come undone, broken by her own loss of confidence and the ‘thing’ in her head.

Damnit he peered away from the woman as best he could as the pain reeled from her, the sudden realisation of one thing or another drew out emotions from deep within Tulips psyche and the Saiyan himself couldn't bare to watch it. There was no moody squandering his time on what he'd done, not on a personal level he was made aware now; this was his flaw to over come. The hiccuping began and his brow softened, Women he thought and slowly his arms unfolded, this he just couldn't precisely deal with, as a Saiyan it was his approach to pain that it was pushed deep within himself; fed to the fire as he'd been taught so as to step on and strengthen. However, this wasn't his problem, Tulip's pain was her own.
Taken by surprise the young Saiyan took pause, one of his legs just wouldn't move and he was forced to turn his obsidian eyes down to the emeralds swollen with tears that peered at him, begging. "Get up Tuli-," he stopped as she spoke, true terror painted those words a resounding black and his maw closed to the look of pity. What was it with Earth and altering the way he'd usually approach this, normally it took so much more to tug this mercy from him. “I’m scared. There’s something...something terrifying...in my head.” Concern appeared, a fleeting gesture but the wandering limb Tulip had no grasp on soon returned to allow him to crouch down.
"We all have something like that," he said softly and placed a hand upon her head, his other drawing the womans shoulder up whilst tugging her to sit up. Should he manage it, his palm would rest upon her crown whilst wider, softer orbs fix on hers. "You have a choice, whether to let that twisted thing in there take over or to push it back. Be someone you want to be rather than what others assume, including that voice," He'd reliquish her mane with a short ruffle of it in sibling to his own, weirdly warm smile for the man who always frowned.
"I'm sorry, I listened to that voice too for a brief moment. It turns people like us, those with the blood of Warriors into murderers, unjust and black but it doesn't have to be that way," here he crouched, beside this woman giving a time of day for someone he barely knew. This had happened to him, a young woman had taken him in long ago and payed for his sins in blood, that was the turning point for Levlidian. Shortly after he'd met Hinawa, Tomoyo, Aina and others, he'd made friends and- he stopped and peered to Tulips leg. "Don't make my mistake, Tulip, power is important but if you neglect your emotional stability all that power can be used against you," Slowly he'd fall onto his rear beside her.
Finally coming down to the Hybrid's level, looking away and at the stone, "Take deep breaths, focus on something else, anything else and bring something warm to the forfront of your mind. Then tell me, little Half-breed, why do you want this strength so badly?"

Hugging Levlidian’s leg, the woman shut her eyes, trying to repress the horrible memory threatening to overwhelm her. She felt his strong grasp pull her up into a sitting position. Forcing her eyes open, she felt his hand cradle her dirty hair as his eyes stared down at her. She could sense the warmth in his gaze, slowly pushing the darkness further back. He began speaking of the thing that slept in all of them. A twisted thing that would possess them if given the chance. Still shivering, the woman barely noticed it as the man’s hand ruffled her hair and he smiled softly. Then he spoke of a voice, something that every warrior had. It had turned him berserk, and made him a murderer in the past. His voice was distant, as the woman’s gaze peered into the darkness in front of them. Despite it being the middle of the day, the sky seemed to be hazy and darkening quickly. There was no voice in the woman’s head, only a growing dread that something terrifying was coming quickly. Something seemed to rise in the distance, a single figure. Black hood resting over his head, Tulip could already tell what resided in that horrible shadow. The growing dread turned to outright horror as she watched the monster glide forward towards the two. Her breath was growing more unstable as he continued his speech, oblivious to the horror that was coming towards them. Her mind was already frantically searching for an out, something to save her from this rapidly crumbling situation. As Levlidian collapsed next to her in a seated position, something shifted in the girl’s soul and mind. Thrusting one hand outwards, as he continued speaking, the woman willed her sword to her side. The blade slid from under her jacket, sailing to her hand with a firm thud. “Then, tell me, little half-breed, why do you want strength so badly?” As Levlidian spoke, Tulip fell forward, throwing the sword towards the figure sailing towards them. It passed through the monster with no effect, clattering to the ground behind it. Her eyes began tearing up again, as the woman grabbed Levlidian’s shirt and screamed. “Please, knock me out! If I’m unconscious, it’ll go away! Please! Please...save me.” The last part was a forced sob, as the hybrid’s emerald eyes filled with tears. The man would be able to see the crazed delirium, fear, and desperation in Tulip’s eyes, but wouldn’t see the scythe the woman saw raised above them. To her, this hallucination was more real than the blade she had thrown at the monster that lived in her head.

Levlidian was thrown by the level of fear Tulip exhibited, was this in her head though? The beasts obsidian eyes coil about the scene and {assumingly) see nothing of the macabre she bore witness to, upon his jaw drawing taught he'd seek to lean away all of a sudden. of course, he'd seen her go for the blade and evaded as it was tossed for the creature of which he could not see, "calm down," he uttered sternly seeking to take the woman by her shoulders. "It's not real Tulip, get a hold of your self," he'd tried making light conversation to help her, yet, this was a heart breaking sight to see someone so scared of their own death in manifested as a vibrant hallucination.
She'd fallen, her knees meeting the stone and palms following suit, what the hell was this? A spell, a psychological break? The end to this fight had thrown Levlidian for six, what was he to do? Anything he'd suggest would likely come out aggressive and arrogant, he needed Tulip to tell him but how does one ask such a pointed question? Bah, women, complicated as all hell and driving his nerves to dust. Still, he was exhausted from their bout and if an enemy arrived now, they were at a severe disadvantage.
Then came the begging, such frantic fingers dug into his skin and eyes broader than the upside of his palm stole the focus right from under him, knock her out? "I-," he fluttered a glance about his shoulder then back to Tulip, raising a fist to her sternum, the beast obliged as best he could. The mock version to the 1-inch punch lead with two fingers extending to said chest, this was followed by a vicious strike flooding her With his Ki in search of both stunning and knocking the poor lass out.
"Lock-Jaw," he muttered as he struck, disdain in his voice for having to do so, once this was accomplished, the beast would seek pick her up and cradle the figure as he'd take her to his home. Unlocking the door was a bother, but he managed it and within they strode where he'd apply the woman t the sofa. Acquiring blankets and a glass of water he'd set them all down applying the blankets to her and grimacing. To think this was his fault, there was no time for self loathing as he'd sit within the armchair across from her and uptake his book once more; this would be a long wait.

Slowly opening her eyes, Tulip winced as she felt the pain in her body. She could recall all of the battle until Levlidian’s powerful punch. Falling back against the sofa, the woman raised her hand towards the ceiling. There was a slight glow to her hand, silver in appearance. Closing her eyes, she could still see the faint light. I...got stronger? She noted something else on the edge of her mind, something she could sense. Tugging on it, she pulled it towards herself. The sword buried itself in the wall of Levlidian’s house, metal edge appearing on the inside. The woman stared at the silver blade in shock, before glancing over at the large man still seated in his rocking chair. Smiling sheepishly, the woman pointed at the sword. “Ah...my bad. Any idea when I started doing that?” With a focused thought, she yanked the blade from the wall and stabbed it into the ground outside. At least, what the woman felt was the ground. Sliding up into a sitting position, the woman grinned at Levlidian while flexing her muscles. “Gave as good as I got, right? That final punch was cheating though; no way I could’ve blocked it.” Noticing the glass of water, she drained it in one go and then set the empty glass down. Staring at the empty glass, her emerald eyes darkened and she finally spoke softly. “...Did I improve at all, Levlidian? It seems like the gap between us is only growing, and that frightens me.”

Tulip was finally awoke and Levlidian sought her out with a small grin upon his lips, didn't she remember? as she began to move around, adjusting the weapon that had appeared within his home; she had quite a throw. Yet there were more questions which caused the Saiyan to furrow his brow, Hm, "You launched it right after I came at you," he said bluntly, "Though yes, you have become quite a bit stronger, you're progressing faster than I did at first," settling the book to the arm of his chair, he rose. On a short stride, he soon perched himself on the rridge of the seat she lay upon and applied a soft pat to her head followed by a ruffle of her hair coupled with a broader smile.
"You shouldn't worry yourself about 'gaps' or anything, I'm a Warrior of the planet Vegeta and we're notorious for large power gains, if I were still at your level, however, you'd have given me a serious run for my money. You should be proud of yourself; challenging the superior Warrior race and pushing them to their limits," removing his hand and placing it about his lap, Levlidian glanced to her drink. "Do you need anything for your wounds? You gave me a fair few of my own, perhaps something to eat?"

The young woman noticed when the strong man furrowed his brow. Lowering the book he was holding, the man spoke. “You launched it right after I came at you. Though, yes, you have become quite a bit stronger; you’re progressing faster than I did at first.” Setting the book down on the arm of his chair, the man rose from his spot. Striding over to her, he sat down next to her on the couch. Reaching one large hand out, he patted her head then ruffled her brown hair. Finally smiling broadly, the man spoke again. “You shouldn’t worry about ‘gaps’ or anything. I’m a Warrior of planet Vegeta, and we’re notorious for large power gains. If I were still at your level however, you’d have given me a serious run for my money. You should be proud of yourself; challenging the superior Warrior race and pushing them to their limits.” His hand left her head, before returning to his lap. He glanced towards her empty glass and spoke again. “Do you need anything for your wounds? You gave me a fair few of my own; perhaps something to eat?” As he told her how strong she had become and to be proud, a bright blush filled the woman’s face. She held back a gasp of joy, forcing herself to not look at the man and reveal her embarrassed expression. She finally let out a breath and glanced up at the man with her emerald eyes. Slumping to one side, the short woman rested her head on the man’s broad and warm shoulder. Smiling softly, the girl stared out across the room, before closing her eyes. She could sense his powerful ki, a raging tempest of burning strength. But, in this situation, it was just a source of comfort. The woman softly whispered to the larger man, not bothering to move when speaking. “Just let me lay like this for a bit. Your words are more than I deserve, and made me really happy. So, let me rest like this for a bit, and then I’ll take my leave.” If Levlidian let the woman lie there for a few minutes, Tulip would take her leave shortly afterward, heading back towards her home in the Bamboo Forest.

Levlidian raised his eyebrows at her sudden attentive nature but thought very little of it, instead a smile appeared whilst he too relaxed against the sofa peering to his own ceiling. "Sure," he uttered and closed his eyes. It was an odd source of comfort to have someone with him for once, she'd been so happy to hear she'd improved and that gave Levlidian a weird feeling of accomplishment. Though he'd been battling with his own Demons for some time now, this was a nice sentiment to change the pace, perhaps everything would begin to look up for him from this moment on.
"I'm glad you're feeling positive Tulip, give it some time, you'll soon be as strong as I am," he paused and glanced for the Hybrid and thought Then what ever it was that haunts you, should fear for it's own life the same way you valued yours.
Indeed they rested as they were for a few minutes, after which each of the fighters rose with a pleasant smile and new lease of their own lives; if for different reasons. However, darkness was creeping its way towards the young Saiyan. Nothing quite as depressing as failure or loss; but a quite literal notion. For not a few days later, there would no longer be a pair of eyes for him to peer about at beauty, there would only be one.
