This is a thread for additional discussion for the poll found here.Take a summary of what your point of view is after discussing here so that the voting thread has a few clear points of view without them having to wade through discussion.

Thanks Milac, though I don't really know why I'm posting this, I figured I'd go ahead and tag Kojima in this, A democracy isn't a free discussion sadly. Democracy isn't a set of points or valuable multiple discussions, as the policy brought forth to the white house, goes to the supreme court, to the president and if the president decides that he doesn't like the bill or proclamation brought to him, he'll discharge it, and then supreme court could over rule him and pass it anyway. So regardless of what a definition of Democracy is, there is no pure democracy, and as your warning bells, they've been sent off a long time ago.

This is the one and only time I'm posting here or even reading anything here.
Using the american government as an example for a democracy is fucking retarded. The american government isn't a democracy no matter how much they flavor it so using it as an example is redundant at best. I used the definition from Meriam webster which is the actual definition of it. No matter how you want to flavor it, the american government is NOT Democratic.
Bao and the rest of the STAFF have stated this site is a democracy and that everyones opinion is valued equally meaning you cannot limit those in any way shape or form and using the PROPER definition backs this. Otherwise there would be a person higher than Pieter/Bao but as it stands, as stated by Emer himself, Bao and Pieter are equal meaning there is effectively two "presidents" which if we're using the american government as an example cannot exist. Thus ONE of them would have to be higher and thus completely spitting in the face of Emer's suggestion of what a democracy is. this site has no "set" leader and instead has 2 "higher" authorities so to speak. I go specifically to Bao and I always have and always will regardless of what anyone says until Bao himself tells me otherwise. In fact, It was bao himself that told me I could come to him with any concerns or suggestions I had so the chances of being told otherwise by him are almost non-existent.

Even if you say not to use America as the example, than there is no such thing as Democracy. As no other country or nation uses Democracy, meaning that a definition can not be placed on Democracy, without it being wrong, without the actually country that using it. That would also be meaning that the definition you used is in correct and would be in need of being changed.

Okay, so first things first. It was my idea for the DE thread. I feel everyone should know that.
Point 2: I originally made it so that Maize could get a Zenkai boost to get closer to my PL easier, since he and I were going to have a Goku/Vegeta dynamic going on between our characters. I did this after his "at a loss" thread that he posted. I later added Prince Lettis into the thread because he didn't seem to be posting anywhere, so I thought it could make for good plot.
Point 3: You also have to realize that when going into a DE thread, you take the risk of dying. Sure, I could say "Hey Maize, I won't kill you." But that doesn't mean that I won't kill him. It'd be a dick move, but by the rules of the site, totally fair. It's happened to me before on another site. A guy was going to have our characters fight and become rivals, some plot happened during it, and he killed my character to get an item so he could progress further despite our agreement. Was it a dick move? Yes. Was it a totally legal move? Yes. You take that risk when going into a DE thread on the site, and I feel that should warrent a lesser Zenkai at the very least.
So IDK if that means anything, but I didn't make it just for farming. At least, not for my own character anyways.

I can see you are well intentioned Torma :3. I would just be concerned that without some sort of limit on how many times you can use Zenkai it could be abused. If it were up to me you could do it once every x amount of power level and you wouldn't have to be in a death enabled thread and instead could RP it out without that HUGE risk.

Toma: Depending on how the events dictated, how badly injured Maize would be and how good his will would be, it would probably yield it or not. However, even if a Zenkai doesn't happen, if the thread was well done and fit the content within the quantity, a good result could happen. In addition, there's actually a reward for being in a thread with multiple people too (it's the way of us staff saying to you guys to rp together)! Regardless of the drama spurred, this is a bridge that needed crossing, as Bao put it. I mean, there'd be no substance if the player just went in there to 'farm' PL. It's a matter of how involved you make your character. If you hop in a thread with someone, you're doing it to have an interaction and develop the character. Even if it's to train with that person, you're still interacting with them. There's no need to fret over this! (By the way, keep focused on the subject matter here.)
