I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD
The female Kagami was a tad more irritable than usual. What should have been any other day in the desert had most certainly turned into not. Not the day before she trained with a much more powerful Kagami and a fox woman. Her name was.... Hinawa? Yes. Hinawa. Hinawa and Emer. Both of them were extraordinarily strange. And aggravating. One mustn’t forget that they both dug beneath her skin. Regardless, her life was a little turned around due to this training. No longer was she on her own to deal with life and train herself. She was now with these two people to assist her in gaining power and strength. She was even offered a place to stay. So many changes might stress someone, but it tended to not be too big a deal to Durian. She changed where she was and what job she took many times.
No. Today she wasn’t irritable because of change. Today she was ready to split someone open because she hurt like hell. The fox woman and the Kagami had done their best to beat her into the ground. Fire. Punches. Kicks. Ki beams. Coming from two people and unrelenting until her body felt like it was going to explode. She had never fought with someone before that. Never had a physical battle. And then she was placed against TWO people who had probably fought countless times. No wonder she felt like shit. Her muscles ached, moving was a horrendous chore, she had multiple wounds and bruises lining her pale skin. The worst part of it all, was the burns along her face. The mask had certainly helped, it kept fire from some parts. But her brow and upper cheeks had blistered and broken, red and angry broken ‘skin’ in its place. Fox Fire. Tch.
She was dressed as she always was. Black shoes, black slack, white blouse, black jacket. Gloves upon her hands and mask over her face. The woman should be warm and sweating beneath those clothes and layers. To be truthful, she was. Though her body had greatly gotten used to it in her years on Earth. The reason she even ventured into this place of overpopulation, endless faces, and crowded streets was that she wanted to get away. Get away from Hinawa and Emer. She didn’t want to admit her injuries stung or needed taken care of. So, she headed to the city. Making her way there through the wilderness and then surrounded by a manmade jungle. A city. Horrid things. So many people and so many places for Saiyans to be. Her Ki suppressed to that of a measly human, she’d try to keep herself as hidden as possible. Even with kagami hair that danced colors of the rainbow when hit with the sun, she wouldn’t catch attention if she was surrounded by masses, right?
Her task was soon finished. Into a store to gain some burn salve for her face and other areas that were caught in the fox’s flames. A small container of the ointment in her hands, she’d pay and leave the store. Walking out of the door, she wouldn’t see what came next until it was too late. A pressure upon her hands, she didn’t know if someone threw something, smacked into her, or even threw her package from her hands. Whatever way, she was now empty handed. Her container flying to her side as some force had taken it from her hands. Instead of trying to locate her new medicinal buy, her eyes turned red with fury. Today was not the day to screw with her. She hurt. She was in the city. Turning her face towards where the assailant had come from, she would speak in a low and obviously angry voice.
“You have five seconds to retrieve that before I feed you your ass.”

(Current PL: 25 due to Ki Suppression) (Original PL: 60,833) ( Appearance) Worthless... Remorse... Anger....and Sadness. These were all the feelings that the demonic Saiyan, Marcel was feeling at this point. The hybrid was walking down a concrete path, maneuvering around the many people who too were walking here. His arms drooped to his sides, and head lowered while he continued his walk, eyes lowered towards the ground. It would be obvious to anyone that this man wasn't in the least bit of a good mood, but just like any other busy town, the people who resided there only cared for themselves which resulted in Marcel getting the occasional, 'Watch where you're going!' 'Are you blind!?' and 'Bump me again, and see what will happen!' Not a single one of them asked why he was so down, or if he needed anything, but it wasn't like they had to. Despite this, Marcel still had a fondness over these humans just as his stepfather did, but he wasn't all too fond of himself currently. Why was he in this mood? Because he had gotten someone killed....almost. A conflict went down at the North Capitol a few days ago between a demon powered by the Makyo Star wreaking havoc, and those who tried to stop him, one of them being Marcel. Things weren't getting solved fast enough, so Marcel attempted to paralyze the demon, so that another could finish him off. He managed to pull it off, but the demon wasn't the only one caught in it. A Saiyan who was there to help to was caught in the hybrid's paralysis, and the attack was fired with both the monster, and the poor Saiyan caught in it. If it weren't for that little miracle the Saiyan pulled off with that odd yellow aura, he would've been joining that demon in the afterlife. Though he didn't die, Marcel couldn't get that fact that the guy could have out of his head. He wasn't the one who shot the attack, but he was the one who rendered the man motionless. A slip up like that...only someone not cut out for protecting this planet would do. And that was him.... He continued on his way with no true destination, just deciding to go out for a walk in hopes of escaping these negative thoughts, suppressing his ki so that he wouldn't be bothered by potential fight seekers, or even people he knew. He even forgot his weights which was something he'd never forget. Just as he continued his walk, he suddenly bumped into yet another person, but didn't really realize until he had walked past them a bit, and hearing the sound of things dropping. The man paused as he heard a voice, a rather demanding, and...aggressive one, but feminine in nature. "I'm terribly sorry about that...." he claimed in a calm tone as he turned around, and crouched down to pick up the woman's things, not once taking a look at her until he had stood back up with her things in hand, attempting to give them back to her. His crimson, black slit eyes, demonic in nature peering into her own red eyes which gave the message of fury. He would then notice the bruises, and burns shortly after, his eyes risen a bit. "You're...." he handed her the stuff back. "What happen?" concerned while everyone else just seemingly walked by, minding their own business with a couple of nosy glances from time to time. "Did...somebody do this to you?" he continued. The hybrid couldn't help, but worry about others who appeared to be in pain, or trouble, a pretty ironic nature coming from someone with both Demon, and Saiyan blood. So concerned about the woman's injuries, he never once noticed the multi colored hair, though it'd be something completely new to him if he did. Durian(Moo)

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Short man. Dark hair. Fit body. The first few descriptors that ran through the Kagami’s mind. He had hit into her and not even given a damn. Her salve to the ground and her threat brought forth with little mercy aided. He would turn to her while speaking. What a little twit. Couldn’t even look her in the eye when he apologized, had to do it mid turn, and not even turning to her. What other way could you show you didn’t care at all? Durian’s eyes were ablaze with the red of her people at this point. Tearing through and threatening to scratch out his eyes. The anger was a bit misplaced, due to her already high level of irritation before this small mishap, but it was focused upon the shorter lad nonetheless. He picked up what she had just bought and would move to hand it to her. “Now I’m graced with your notice?” She spoke bitterly, her hand reaching out for that which was rightfully hers. Slender fingers closing around the container that was to aide her burns, she wouldn’t take her eyes off of the lad. Reddish eyes like her own. Though she didn’t detect fury. In fact... she would have thought there was a hint of.... Concern. It came in words right after she noticed. Taking the save quickly and bringing it back to her own self, her hands would go to her sides. Her flesh itched with irritation upon her face, especially now that he had brought attention to it anew. Narrowing her eyes as he asked what happened, she wondered why he had to ask such a question. Who was she to him for him to show concern? Who was he who needed to know those things in general? It was all too lovely and nice. Moving forward, she once again realized that she had stopped in front of the door to the establishment she had just bought from. Well... moving forward more like she was given a good shove. Not overly critical, but she would continue the momentum. Forward, she would likely collide with his shoulder with the side of her body. Going to move past him as she placed her glare down upon the shorter male she made contact with. “Of course someone did this to me.” She spoke with that same underlined tone of irritation. It was peculiar. Him finding interest in something so small. It could prove extremely dangerous if she remained within the same area. There was the small chance that he enquired out of a friendly nature. But those eyes... told a story of something darker. Law looked up at this mystery woman. She was clearly not in a joyful mood, her anger matching those eyes. Despite how rude she spoke to the hybrid, Marcel could only stand there, and think of who would do such a horrible thing to another. This planet was beautiful, and had man amazing people living upon it, but there were also the...others. Everything good always has something creeping within their shadows. "I would recommend going to a hospital. I will take you to the nearest one if need be." he commented, though he was qualified in treating such injuries if he has the correct tools, but didn't bring it up as it would clear she didn't want his help...nor would he be able to handle a full body treatment... "I do apologize about how rudely I acted however." he took a bow, though it wasn't really him that was being rude..."My mind was just on other things." he claimed, still shaken up about the things that happened a few days ago. "Who was responsible for this?" the hybrid would ask, looking up to the woman as his concerned expression slowly shifted to a more annoyed one. He despised people who picked on, robbed, and beat up people. He despised evil, and those who followed it. They should all burn, he would think. "Oh, umm. My name is Marcel." his brief aggressive tone turning to a more welcoming one as he just realized he hadn't even introduced himself. "Marcel Law." he completed with a bow. I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian had hit into him. She didn’t know if he missed it, was dense, or ignored it. But she had now gone past him. There was no reason to block the doorway of the shop she had just been in. There was no reason to mill about in front of a store. She could walk through the crowds of people and head home. Home... not that she really had one. There was that ship with Hinawa and Emer. But that wasn’t home. Then from behind her, she heard that short man speak again. Something about a hospital? Glancing over her shoulder, she raised her voice over the hustle and bustle of the busying sidewalk. “Stay there or follow, but don’t think I’ll be able to hear you if I keep walking!” There was remnants of irritation in her voice, but movement was helping. Just not being in the same place was helpful. Now.... if the wind wasn’t irritating her skin, it would be all the better. Or thinking that going back to the ship meant seeing Hinawa or Emer... Maybe she could take a side trip somewhere. Assuming Marcel had heard her and joined her in her walk away from the shop, she would be able to hear the remainder of what he said. If he stayed where he was, or departed, then their meeting would come to an end. If the shorter man walked beside her, she would hear an apology. Raising an eyebrow, her red eyes having already started to die down back into a dull grey as she glanced over and down to the man. “Troubles?” His apology was neither here nor there. He spoke on how he acted rudely, but she tasted a hint of insincerity. As for what was on his mind... she could redirect with that. Having taken the time to join her company once again, maybe she didn’t have to react aggressively to every thought spoken. But she should also be cautious. She didn’t know who he was or what he wanted. Maybe staying within a crowd of people would benefit her for now. Keep other eyes on them. Witnesses. Did Saiyans care about such things? Probably not. Though he had no telltale saiyan signs. That didn’t mean he couldn’t be hired or trained by them. A little bit of a worrisome thought process, but one that could keep her more safe than in danger. He spoke again. Who did this to her? Glancing to him again, she’d only linger a moment as she didn’t want to collide with others walking upon the sidewalk. Taking a moment to think over how it was best to answer, she’d bring a slender hand to her face and gingerly touch the burned flesh. “An acquaintance.” Was all she spoke. She most definitely wasn’t going to say while she was training. Nor did she think bringing up Hinawa’s name would be a successful use of her secrecy and time. The last thing he’d speak was his name. Repeating it with a last name as well. Her answer would be simple and she wouldn’t even need to look at him. “Durian.” The planet she left called her Salak. But she shed that name long ago for the one she used now. She was Durian. A different Kagami altogether. One that no longer succumbed, but had a purpose. A purpose to end her people’s suffering and enslavement. After the woman's comment, Marcel once again looked up to her as she began to walk off. Finally realizing that they were far from alone on this busy sidewalk, Marcel decided to follow this tall stranger, still worried about her condition despite the attitude. Again the hybrid found himself maneuvering around the other people in an attempt to keep up with this lady. He didn't know if it was those long legs of hers, or the amount of people that was causing him to trail back so, or perhaps he still had other things on his mind. As the crowd of people cleared up a bit, Marcel managed to catch up with the red eyed woman, walking beside her. He glanced away at this point, his mind still on the events of that day in the North Capitol. After a moment of silence between the two, the tall woman spoke up causing Marcel to look back up to her, realizing that those fiery red eyes had disappeared, making way for a more gray color. At the same time, he would finally notice the hair, and how it appeared to change color from time to time. A captivating sight indeed, and something the hybrid has never witnessed before. Perhaps it was just some new kind of hair dye? Either way, the woman asked him a question, and he needed to answer, feeling that it would be rude not to. "Troubles?" he repeated in a bit of a wondering tone before looking away. "Oh...it's nothing really. Nothing to worry about." he claimed, though his tone said otherwise. "What really matters now are those injuries of yours. They need to be taken care of as soon as possible." he claimed, always having a habit of putting people above himself. "I see..." he would say as the woman claimed that an acquaintance did this to her. It was obvious she didn't want to further add on to this, so he decided to leave it as that. "Oh, and it's also a pleasure to meet you, Durian." he would place a hand on his chest, bowing his upper body a bit since they were still walking. "I see that your eyes can change colors. It reminds me of somebody else I know." he said, referring to Hinawa. That fox woman helped the man some with his problem about almost killing that one Saiyan who also turned out to be a close friend of hers, but still he couldn't get what he almost did out of his head, looking down at the concrete as he continued to walk. "But....but never have I seen anyone's hair change colors like that." he claimed, trying to distract from his mood. It was true that he never seen hair color change before even being ignorant about Super Saiyans. "It's really a calming sight, however." he'd smile a bit. Durian(Moo)

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD It took him a moment, but the man would end up beside her. Taller and walking with a bit more purpose than he seemed to be, she cut through people with reserved care if she seemed rude. Everyone had places to be. Them, her, him. Each thought their’s important in some way. So she’d maneuver as she saw fit. Marcel... was a little more thoughtful. He would repeat her word back to her. Durian would give him a moment to figure out what she meant before she would explain. She wanted to know if he was distracted by troubles. If there was something negative that was on his mind or if it were something more positive. She heard his voice clear as day. Lies passing across his mouth. At least... he wasn’t a good liar? Glancing to him from the corner of her eye, she’d see he had looked away in those moments. Was he ashamed? She could hardly imagine a Saiyan’s companion feeling ashamed. Maybe she should ease up on the lad. “I keep my own secrets, so I don’t need to inquire further. But I also tend to be good at silence if you would like to take my ear. Be warned, I will reply with a blatant opinion at the end.” It was her way of offering assistance. And maybe giving him a chance. But what he said she would react to. Durian... didn’t often hold back when it came to her opinions. Not anymore. Hell, Emer had seen that. She just had to make sure that she didn’t get angry with the wrong crowd or person. When he’d mention her injuries, the woman would take the container of salve and basically hold it directly in front of his face. Letting it linger for a moment so he could realize what it was, before bringing it back to her side and carrying it easily with her. “That’s why I’m in the city. I’m taking care of it.” And she was, how she knew how. She wouldn’t be going to any hospital. Durian had missed the man’s suggestion of such, but it would have made no difference. He would say it was a pleasure to meet her, even giving a sort of bow as they continued walking. She caught the movement from her peripherals, but she didn’t react. What should she say? It was a pleasure to meet a man who hit something from her hands and then followed her? He wasn’t the worst company she had encountered, but it hadn’t been invited. Besides, she didn’t know him. It was very possible that he wasn’t a pleasure at all. So, she kept her mouth shut. When he’s speak on her appearance, Durian would become a little less relaxed. Her shoulders tensing up as she walked and her gaze becoming more rigid as she’d glance to him and back to the sidewalk. “Hair and eyes, huh?” She was thinking. Was he telling the truth that he had never seen such hair? Was he looking for her hair? A few panicked and aggravated thoughts ran through her mind. But... she had also witnessed his poor attempt at diverting conversation. The man whore his heart on his sleeve, or so it seemed. “They are the blessings of my people. My hair changes vibrant colors under natural lighting. My eyes... are always red. Just becoming more vibrant at times.” A bitter laugh would escape her then, her hand tightening around the salve she held. “Someone says I’ve lost the red because I’ve given up.” Marcel Law ---------------------------- PL - 2,800 => 10 KP - 3/3 Techs Used = Energy Suppression [UT1] Durian are capable of suppressing your power in order to better hide herself from the gaze of those with Energy Sensing or those utilizing a Scouter, so long as she is not making use of powerful techniques(anything that would consume KP in a KP Battle) she can remain undetected by friends and foes alike! The hybrid listened to the tall woman. She made it clear that she wasn't going to pry any further into the man's...troubles, but also made sure that she'd listen if he wanted to, and the warning of possibly being brutally honest at the end. He continued to look down, slowly wrapping his arms around himself as if he were cold with his hands clenching each arm before sighing softly. A part of him didn't want to discuss this problem wit anymore people in fear of being seen as a selfish asshole who only lived for the violence, but then again he felt that he needed another opinion other than Hinawa's, a...harsher one which seemed clear that this woman beside him was able to dish out. "I just..." he hesitated a bit as his arms fell back to the side. "...I almost got...somebody killed....who didn't deserve it." he finally got it out, remaining quiet afterwards. He didn't have a problem with killing if he believed the person he aimed to off deserved it, though killing anyone went against what his stepfather had taught him, this being the only thing he didn't listen to the man about. Marcel would think to himself at times, wondering how disappointed his stepfather must be in the otherworld. Marcel would make a small nervous chuckle once he finally inspected the salve Durian was holding. Indeed she was taking care of it. "I suppose my help wasn't needed, nor wanted I suppose.." he claimed, thinking about how foolish he was, and how foolish she must see him coming up to help her when she clearly didn't need it. Despite his mixed species, Marcel was nothing like the two save for his interests in training, and spars as well as his extreme dislike for the cold which is actually a result from his father's side, something he isn't aware of. Marcel can be described as a kind soul to most, selfless in nature, and willing to put his life on the line for a complete stranger which can also prove to be a weakness depending on the situation. With his stepfather's guidance, Marcel grew up the way he was with little influence from his mixed species.... For now. "Blessings?" he once again found himself looking up at the woman's hair. Blessings of her people? Was she not Human, or perhaps just from some tribe of Humans who looked at things heavily on a religious stand point? Though he's been here on this planet ever since birth, living on it for twenty plus years, still he knew so little about it, and about the people who resided here, the people he claimed he wanted to protect. He'd then hear her comment on someone claiming she'd given up. Given up on what, he wondered, but again didn't want to pry. "If I may add. You do not seem like the type of person who would simply give up. Though I'm not fully sure on what it is, you are talking about, nor do I wish to invade your privacy any further. Just going with what I've picked up from you now." he nodded a bit, completely honest with his words. From his experience, people with such an....aggressive nature were never the type to give up on anything unless they saw no point in it perhaps? "I apologize if I overstepped any boundaries." he'd nod once more before looking forward. Durian(Moo)

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian would catch his movement from the corner of her eye. His arms wrapping over his torso and being held securely there. He was tense and uncomfortable. Not by her, but by his own thoughts. So it did seem something was plaguing him. They continued walking, though the crowd was becoming less dense and pressured near the pair. Exiting a more populated part of the city very soon to less centralized district. Her ears would figuratively perk up when she’d hear him speak. The information he gave her was small. He almost killed someone who didn’t deserve it. With patience, she’d wait for the rest. The rest that never came. He would be sidetracked by her other words. What better way to bring him back on track and keep her own self hidden away than to focus upon whatever was stressing him? Durian wouldn’t reply to the comments on her blessings. Nor how she hadn’t given up. Hell. He didn’t know her. Maybe she had given up. Maybe she hadn’t. He had no idea. “There’s either more or you’re a total fool. So far you’ve told me that you’ve done nothing to show guilt.” With little warning, she’d shove the man to the side and remain close to his body. Her right hand moving to his face and pressing against the bottom of his nose. Her taller self forced against him and keeping him pinned to the brick wall of a building just off the sidewalk they had been walking on, her dull eyes would look to his. “I could shove your cartilage straight up into your brain. I almost killed you.” With her last words she’d move off of him again. Taking a step back but not quite fully into the way of passerbys. He’d be no worse for wear. Just a shove into a wall and then her hands on him. No real threat to his body nor self. “Other than maybe startle you or make you a bit irritable, I’ve done nothing. I’m not going to worry over something that didn’t happen. So, Marcel. What more is there? Or are you wallowing in negativity for a pathetic and useless reason?” There was the slightest, slightest, slightest bit of a smirk to her lips. Her eyes were still dull and nearly grey, but she almost seemed to be challenging him. Durian didn’t know what happened. He could tell her if it was worse than she actually was first told. Or, she could find out he was moping for no reason whatsoever. If so, the guy could man up. He hadn’t done anything. Marcel Law ---------------------------- Feel free to interrupt movements! (Ignore my above post) Marcel just kept his eyes towards the ground as Durian spoke. In all honesty, he wasn't really surprised at her choice of words. So far, people who he has told about this event never really took it too seriously, most likely because he didn't actually kill the guy. Heck, even the actually guy Law almost killed didn't seem to sweat it. All of this appeared to be hurting Marcel more than it did Lev. Then out of no where... "Wha...!" Law found himself getting pushed up against a wall, back first by the tall woman who then....pressed her bottom again him!? Not really sure what to make of this, all Marcel could do was stare at her quietly with eyes widened, and cheeks blazing red! Was this how it felt...to have someone 'come on' to them, or however it was said? Was she really trying to do such a thing in front of these people!? the hybrid was thinking, feeling his heart race. He'd feel her finger press against the bottom of his nose, his eyes still locked on to her own however, pretty much feeling frozen at this point until she began to speak once more, finally understanding what she was doing. He let the words Durian said sink in as he backed off of him, his cheeks returning to normal, and eyes lowering before shaking his head some. "Yes...but I deserve death." he'd clench his fists a bit before loosening them. Still, he continued to beat himself up about this. He understood where the woman was trying to get at. Almost killing another tends to happen, but there was that key word...almost. Said person didn't die, so everything should be fine. The world will keep spinning, and people will still do what they do. Why did Marcel continue to feel so guilty about this? Was he just soft? Not that there was anything wrong with that, but there was a such thing as being too soft which could really effect Marcel's goal of being someone who could protect this world in a bad way. A very bad way.... "Thank you, Durian but....I don't think this is something that could be solved easily." Marcel looked up to her. Perhaps aggression just wasn't the answer, or maybe he needed time to sink this in more. Either way, he is grateful for the woman's words, and...actions... Durian

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD Durian had secured him. The shorter man pressed against brinks with her body holding him against the wall. She would look none too happy with him, not friendly in the least. Yet... those red eyes didn’t resurface. There was no reason for it. She felt no malice, no hatred, no anger. Durian was merely trying to show her point to the pinned man. Was he... blushing? The Kagami couldn’t be distracted by this fact but she would file it away for the moment. Right now, she wanted to give the brief impression she actually wanted to kill him. Even if.... for some reason... he was blushing.... When she had backed away, he would speak. Losing his blush and shaking his head. Her words were surprising. He deserved death? Raising an eyebrow and looking to him with a quizzical and unbelieving gaze, she’d wait to see if he’d say more. An apology that he didn’t think it would be solved easily. Rolling her eyes, she’d step forward and reach out a slender hand towards the male. Two fingers, her pointer and middle, would be thrust out and meant to smack against his forehead and stay there. “You have way too much going on up here.” Her vision would follow her fingers, then fall more towards his face. With her falling vision, she’d remove her fingers from his head and go to place them where the human heart would be upon the man. Pressing against his clothes with those same fingers. “And too much here. Your face reddened at my approach. You tell yourself you’re worthy of death. And, lastly, you let something haunt you that you could easily hide away. Tell me, Marcel. What exactly causes you turmoil about this experience?” She’d bring her hand off his heart, bringing the gloved Kagami hand back to herself and placing it upon her hip. Taking another small step closer, she’d lean forward just a bit to bring them more eye level. “And tell me why you deserve death. Because you don’t. Or if you truly believe you do, let me strike you down right here in the street.” The woman’s voice was surprisingly cold. She had the intention of helping him through it. But. If he sincerely deserved death, why should he be denied it? Those deserving should get their just rewards. The dull grey eyes of the woman would stay locked upon the reddenened ones of the man. Let him explain himself. Or he could go swirl in his own vortex of guilt and sadness. Law would glance away as the woman backed up some. So far, nothing has helped Marcel. There were things that happened that would just temporarily distract him from his ordeals, but that was just about it. Nobody seemed to be helping....or perhaps the hybrid was just not listening..? Quickly, the man would look up as he felt Durian's fingers pressed against his forehead while she spoke. She wasn't wrong, he did have a lot going on up there, and it wasn't just about that situation with Lev. All his life he has been dealing with all sorts of crap that he'd keep to himself. Fear of his inner rage leaking out once more even though he managed to get better control of it. He feared that perhaps he didn't have control over it, rather it's building up within a flimsy seal ready to pop whenever the moment arises. He wondered where his mother was...if she was still alive. The only possible place she could be is that Saiyan planet she originates from...Vegeta, but with no ship, he had no way of getting there. He could ask the people he knew, and claimed as friends who had ships if they could take him, but he wouldn't want to be a bother....but mainly, he feared what could happen if he ever confronted the woman who raised...then abandoned him, and his stepfather. He wasn't sure what to think of her, though his stepfather would always tell him to never turn his back on loved ones, family. Could she even be considered family...? Then there was the fact that he is half demon, and doesn't know a single thing about his biological father. His mother would tell her boy that he was simply a byproduct of a one night stand between her, and a demon...but that wasn't true. How Marcel was conceived....it was a lot darker than a one night stand... She didn't want to tell him the truth both for his own good, and for her own. That day...it just left the Saiyaness a mental scar that she'd never be able to remove. Marcel was also worried about people knowing of his demon half with only a select few knowing either by him trusting them, or somehow picking it up from his aura. He never had the best of childhoods, and it surprisingly wasn't because of his Saiyan side which nobody knew of since he had zero Saiyan like qualities. It was because of his demon half which showed more during his youth. Now the only hint were those eyes of his, those very eyes that his own mother could never stare into because...it would remind her of his father's... Next, Durian would press her fingers against the hybrid's chest, where his heart is located. He looked down as she spoke, and pressed a hand against the same area after the tall woman removed her fingers off of him. Though he appeared calm, his heart was racing due to many different emotions fighting the poor hybrid at once. "I deserve death..." he'd say once more before looking Durian straight in her grayish eyes. "But it doesn't mean I'll sit back, and let somebody kill me..." Marcel claimed, determination, and confidence written on his face before he came to the realization that.... "...Y-you're kind of....close." he'd hesitantly say, once again blushing like a fool before shifting his eyes down. Durian

I KNOW WHAT RUNS THROUGH YOUR BLOOD He didn’t focus upon her. He looked away. His mind was turning with thoughts she wouldn’t know unless he spoke them. And... it was likely best the woman did not know. Durian did not hold care of friendliness for Saiyans. There was a seeded hatred and disdain for them. It was justified by the Kagami through wanting to free her people, but it was much more contorted than that. Still. If ever asked, that was what her answer would be. She hated Saiyans for the cruelty that they brought those around them, especially the Kagami. But Marcel was no Saiyan. Not to her. This was a struggling man in front of her. Eyes of red and hair of black. Pale and lost. Durian knew what that felt like. Part of her was ushering her to leave him. He was showing multiple signs of not wanting her company. His heart was beating like a fluttering insect, the rate of the wings and his heart threatening to burst through his torso at any moment. He even reiterated that he deserved death. Someone who deserved death didn’t often desire the company of people when they didn’t even want their own company. But when he would look up she would notice a small fire. One of determination that stared back at her. The Kagami resisted the urge to smile. So... at least he was pushing forward. That was good, right? And then it would all shift back to his awkwardness. Red flooding his face, Durian would merely blink in surprise. Did he really just shift from being concerned and thoughtful on his own well-being to embarrassed she was close? Was he not used to women? Or just people in general? The female’s hand would stretch out, moving to grasp his wrist and at the same time turn her body slightly away. As if she might walk off with him in two. “Follow me.” She spoke directly to him, trying to catch the man’s eye before moving back into the lessened crowds of people. She’s maneuver among them and keep Marcel in tow. If he pulled, he could have easily broken her grip, she didn’t care to keep him if he didn’t wish to remain in her company nor follow her. Even in a dingy city that was covered in people, metal, buildings, cramped homes, and businesses, there was always somewhere that was supposed to seem untouched. Some place within the confines of a busy life where people were supposed to find rest and peace. Within this city, there was a small park. It was simple and out of the way. Nestled in the corners of business and homes. But Durian knew where it was. Grass upon the ground, dirt pathways, a small lake, and trees blocking out what little sun the tall building surrounding didn’t. Where she took Marcel was down one of the dirt paths, through trees, and to a bench. If she still had his wrist, she’d release him. “Sit.” She’d speak sternly, the female’s grey eyes finding his when she’d turn to face him. She’d stand, her gloved hands moving to her hips as she’d look to the, hopefully, seated man. “It’s annoying that you don’t answer what I ask.” There was irritation to her tone as she looked down at him. But the woman would shift. Giving a sigh. He was conflicted. Lost. She had seen it. Letting some of the tension seep from her body, she’d take a seat on the bench as well. Her hands moving into the pockets of her slacks, she’d lean back on the bench and shift her but just a bit forward. Grey eyes moving to the trees, most of the sun blocked out so the rainbow of her hair was lessened. She’d speak once more. “What makes you think you deserve death? Are you so affected by nearly killing someone that you think your life means so little?” She wouldn’t look at him. Her eyes still focused upwards into the trees. Without warning, Durian would grasp Marcel's wrist, much to his surprise! She'd tell the confused man to follow her before walking, Marcel looking around then back to her as he was pulled. "Wait, where are we-" he'd try to ask, but pause as he too had to try, and maneuver around people while being pulled at the same time. It certainly wasn't an easy task. Where was she trying to take him all of a sudden? Before, this woman seemed a bit irritated about Marcel being around, but now she was pulling him somewhere!? They hybrid had no clue what to make of this, so he just went with it, a bit curious as to where this will lead in all honesty. Shortly after, the two would find themselves at one of the city's parks, barely anyone around. The area was very peaceful, but Marcel didn't have much time to think of it due to still being curious about why Durian led him all the way out here. Finally the two would stop by a bench where the woman would tell the man to sit. Was she...treating him like a child!? For a second, he looked back into Durian's eyes, obviously puzzled, but in the end he would submit, and silently plop himself onto the bench, rubbing the back of his head shortly after. Then next, the gray eyed woman would briefly scold him....she was treating him like a child. The hybrid lowered his head a bit in response....just like a child would. "I...apologize." he said while the woman sat herself down next to Marcel. He glanced up at her, seeing that her attention was elsewhere. What else he noticed was that her hair appeared completely white, no longer giving off that multi color effect like it did earlier. Perhaps it worked similarly to her eyes? He'd then see the burns upon her face once again, remembering that Durian hadn't treated her injuries yet, but before he could say anything about it, she'd ask that question once more, a little less hostile. Marcel looked down at the grass between his feet, how it moved oh so gently in the breeze. He stayed quiet for a few second before finally speaking up, trying to answer her question with another. "What use would somebody be to the world, if they can't even protect the right people?" he asked before a sigh escaped his mouth, looking up to Durian then to the tree she looked towards. "How long do you plan on leaving those injuries unattended?" the hybrid asked shortly after, not sure if she forgot about them. It was dangerous to leave such things alone for too long which concerned him. Durian
