Departure PL: 4,200
Tomoyo's throat trembled as the boy began inhaling in quiet, ragged breaths. This was it. He was actually doing it.
He was actually running away.
"I can't believe it." The hybrid muttered to himself, still in disbelief at how well this entire plan had gone together. All of the feelings that Tomoyo had been feeling about the Saiyans, about his mother, all of them culminated together until finally bursting past his limit in the Great Ape incident. The look of disgust and disappointment his mother always showed him every time they made eye contact was almost unbearable, the feelings that Tomoyo felt because of it became too much for the 11 year old. So, where does one go after being shunned and ruined on an alien planet?
Tomoyo was going home. Home to Earth. Home to the place where people didn't fight and kill for a living and the world didn't revolve around training every single second of every single day until your arms burst open! Still though, running away to another neighborhood is one thing, but interplanetary escapades were a different category altogether; heck, Tomoyo couldn't even FLY yet, let alone all the way into space and back to planet Earth... which meant that there was really only one option. Thankfully for Tomoyo, there was something that could get him back home with little to no input: A Saiyan Attack Ball. These small, spherical vehicles were prime for single person travel and could practically get him anywhere in the universe with no real need for knowing the specifics; specially on the one he had appropriated. The rusted and quite worn looking ship that Tomoyo had managed to dig up underneath the pile of rubble near their residence turned out to be his mother's old ship itself. The vehicle looked as it could only survive the impact of one more landing by its durability and corrosion, and the fuel gauge only confirmed this by showing it had just enough "gas" to get him all the way back to earth. This wasn't going to be a round trip.
...but Tomoyo was fine with that. Tossing the sack full of his clothes and all the Zeni that Tomoyo had saved up for the past few years, the door on the worn out and rusted ship creaked to a close after a few moments of startup before it began vibrating to life. In moments with the press of one more button (Tomoyo had no idea which ones did which), the ship conveniently began floating into the air before rocketing off into space. Goodbye Mom. Goodbye Saiyans.
"Good bye planet Vegeta." muttered Tomoyo with his face pressed against the smudged glass displaying the quickly retreating figure of the pink and white planet. After a few moments with the planet finally fading out of view, the half-Saiyan curled up into his seat comfortably before beginning to relax his mind. Meditation was what it was called? Something about fighting in your mind or finding inner peace? Well, Tomoyo didn't really care about doing it to get stronger or anything; it just helped calm him down~
