Plato sat in the waiting halls watching the fight going on outside, though he already knew who would win so he payed little mind, unless the demoness broke devil knights plan, then Xylo would win and his job would be to fight Xylo afterwards and give another good fight before being defeated. But after that, he needed to reach the finals agian. So he could show off the true power of the devil knights. If all the devil knights, Him xylo and Zerori made it to the finals or close. then he would of achieved their goal. They would surge with members, and konats could be saved. He looked at the sword in his hands unsheathing the blade for a moment. The blade was broken in two, only the bottom half ready for combat. A sword just like his bond to konats broken by bastards who claimed to be fighting for good. He got to his feet stareing outside as he heard the match being called and the next fight coming up. Though he didn't not hear the winner, he didn't care he needed to be ready to fight his next opponent. Sagi Shi he was called. He was seemed to be shunned in someway just like him, Someone misjudged prehaps and sent to hell. He assumed so Sagi shi was labeled for hell afterall not heaven.
Plato walked towards the arena he letting his aura run mixed together. One of the calm king, and one of a demon, the darkness withen itching to be released and destroy all in its way but not yet. He would save it for after Xylo, or prehaps agiasnt him but he needed all his tricks for the fights after xylo, he would lose to xylo and then in the loser bracket destroy all his foes in a blaze of glory. If he fought Zer next, then the same thing would occur, he was not worried in the slightest. He wanted the crowds jaw to drop as he unleashed the monster to crush their beliefs in the konstian abilities, assuming he was weaker then he really was. Perhaps some knew and were itching for the king to release his power but he was not going to, not for this match. He knew nothing of sagi yet, if he proved to be a threat of that calabre he would be left with no choice but the chances of that in the first round, were quite low. If he fought xylo or zer he would let them defeat him with ease, they would destroy him anyway, he was not going to drag out a losing fight. After all how could a man stand against a monster. Plato crossed his arm his cloak blowing in the wind as he stared into the distance waiting for the boy to come out and face the king, what would he bring.
Sagi Shi stared at the fight going on with Xylo and Zerori. Such impressive strength...something he could use. Soon enough, it was his turn. He began to walk, his red cape hanging over his right arm, towards the ring. He looked to his left, seeing his opponent. His power was incredibly high already. Sagi Shi knew he wasn't going to be able to win. Though he didn't come here to win a tournament.
He walked in the ring on his side. Once he made distance, he turned, giving a calm gaze towards the Konatsian. "...Former King of Konats..." He thought. "Interesting..." The Oni narrowed his eyes a bit, examining him. He might be a good asset to his project. "...You know, you remind me a lot of myself." The Ogre raised his chin slightly. The Haloless Oni smirked a bit. "You and I were both casted out of our homes, is that right? The news spread like wildfire from the warriors who inhabited that planet, that, and I had a lot of paperwork to do on souls...you were invaded, right?"
Plato looked at the ogre as he arrived in the area he looking at the man's as his cape blew in the wind as the ogre walked into the ring he cracking his knuckles. "You remand me of myself as well i must admit Sagi Shi." He said laughing a little, "Yes after i returned overthrowing the former king who allowed the kashvarr to take me, i was cast out, by the sse and an organization i know nothing about, well and a fucking tree man." He muttured looking at the ogre. "I was invaded, by a man i actually knew but he is dead now so i'm not worried about i'll return and their will be hell to pay." he looked at the kai and such in the crowd a Waring to them. anyone who stood in his hay to reclaiming konats would be here soon enough. He laughed a little thinking about the past before looking at the ogre, "I'm happy to tell you more at another time your form hell if i'm correct, from what i read." He said cracking his arms as he stretched out before getting into a stance, "So SAgi Shi are you ready to go." He asked he could not be waiting out too long, afterall their was a fight to go on not a chit chat.
Sagi Shi had a calm expression plastered to his face as he listened to the Konatsian's story. He nodded as the man continued on about how the SSE and some other faction invaded his home...and also...a tree? The tone of mood shift however, because once he finished his story, he immediately wanted to fight. Sagi Shi laughed to himself, completely forgetting that it was a tournament they were talking in right now, and at this moment, they were the two competitors.
Sagi Shi put one finger up to pause the upcoming bout. "...You don't understand." A sly grin crossed his face. "I didn't just enter to compete...I have, well, other goals...in fact, goals that may even help in your conquest to take back Konats. I've already talked to the Namekian fellow fighting that weird demon girl." Giving a shrug, he looked Plato dead in the eye. "So, I was going to ask, despite how absurd it may sound, if you'd let me win...there's a few more things I need to see for myself...again, winning the tournament means nothing to me." Sagi Shi narrowed his eyes. "If you still want to fight, understandable...but I need the end result of passing to the next round...what is it going to be King Plato?"
"I''d suggest your words carefully." He narrowed his eyes at the ogre as he spoke. He put a finger on his head telepathically calling the ogre, "I do understand the benefit even if i beat you i'll fight Xylo next and i will lose their no doubt about that." He was annoyed at the prospect but lady luck was not on his side. Taking a dive would not change much but he did want to fight xylo. The choices compounded in his head, he already knew the demon lady or Zerori was going to throw her fights, if he threw the fight it might of been suspicious. He grumbled trying to come up with a practical solution. "Tell me how i can trust you mr.sagi cause if your lieing to me you do understand i'll take you to a place worse then hell." he telepathically told the ogre crossing his arms. "Furthermore what is your relationship with the namakian Xylo and how can you help me take back konats if your so weak, their a reason i'm working with xylo, he is strong, stronger then anything i can muster." He still didn't understand what the ogre wanted to do but it smelled like trouble he knew that for sure.
The Konstian sighed, he knew what he could do he could just summon his monster and defeat himself, it would be easy and hard to track. He knew that he was not going to win either he was trying to get the attention of the devil. He was conflicted about what he should do. He blinked for a moment before he made his choice. He knew their was only one thing he really could do. He stepped forward as he sent a call, "I'll trust you, from what i hearing from your voice i can trust you but answers my questions and then i shall let you past me so you can face xylo." He was going to take a gamble but he didn't have much to lose seeing his foes their was no way he was going to get past so might as well start forming alliances. He lowered his stance about to attack but based on sagi's answers he would be ready to defeat himself.
Sagi Shi was about to retaliate and state his reasoning when Plato didn't trust him, but somehow he had a shift of thought and he now trusted him? It was strange, but the Oni didn't question it. However Plato wanted questions answered before Sagi Shi was able too pass. The Ogre nodded slowly. "Of course...ask away..." He stared at the Former King, narrowing his eyes. Whatever Plato needed answered, the ogre was positive he could answer it. But it was only a matter of time before the referees say something. The crowd themselves were also getting a bit irritated. He just hoped Plato would allow him to pass quickly. ---
(all good Sagi we all know people got lives and i got time)
Plato looked at Sagi as he spoke, "Well what i'm asking is your connection to xylo and make it snappy as you can see the crowd his getting riled up. He turned seeing the crowd begging the boo as they wanted a fight not two guys standing and talking to one another, if the ogre didn't answers his question in a couple seconds he'd just beat him down, he didn't lose much but he actually wanted to know what the kid was doing, "Furthermore, i also want to know how your gonna help konats when as of now your power seemed so pathetic, no offense." Plato said looking at the ogre with dead seriousness, what did he offer, was he a punching bag or someone who could actually help him or maybe he was a joker wasting his time and if he was, he would pay dearly.
"I have a decent bond with Xylo you can say...we're... close friends..." Sagi Shi informed. He smirked, looking up at the raging crowd. "And I'll have you know, strength comes with time....there had to be a time when you weren't as powerful as you are now..." The Oni raised his chin slightly, with his arms crossed. "Besides that...have you noticed anything different about me? Yes! That's right! I don't have a halo. I'm not dead. And as an Ogre, I'm able to travel in and out of this realm, back to the living." The Oni uncrossed his arms staring at Plato. He narrowed his eyes a bit, not in a menacing or threatening way, but to see what his choice would be. "This can allow me to bring in extremely valuable information...find out what's going on with Konats as well in fact...so what's it going to be King Plato?"
"an ally to xylo you say." Plato spoke with some shock and began to understand what was really going on. This boy was not dead. He assumed he would not be allowed to fight but it seemed that was not the case. The Konstian cracked his neck looking at the ogre, he understood the ogre's role as a scout but it was unfortunate it didn't matter what he was going to learn on konats, he'd destroy everything and everyone who stood in his way to protect konats, however the ogre did have a point he was valuable to him but all the things he said did he really need them. If he was good friends with xylo then he would help him anyway, he was working with the devil knights. The info was something he could live without, he had been blind and it tore at him but at the same time the info would not do as much as he wanted, or really needed in order to free his people, he need allies with power at the moment, not in the future, cause the future of konats their was only death no hero like him to return and slay or overthrow any new evil ruler.
"you've made your point, Sagi shi it is unfortunate however that i still plan to win." He said in a telepathic call to Sagi, as he turned "Alright i've prepared myself, this won't take long i wanted to see how long the ogre could fool what you were not seeing was an attack on the mind my crowd." He raised his arms pointing at Sagi shi, "This ogre here is far more dangerous then his power shows, he used a mental attack on me which is why we were not fighting, we been fighting in our minds eyes a dangerous magic indeed." Of course this was all an act but with his smooth timing and his powerful voice. He had lead an entire planet afterall and won 2 civil wars and tricks thousands to his cause. He turned to sagi drawing his long sword pointing at the Ogre before calling him agian, "I have decided to let you win, i honestly understand that i stand no chance against xylo, however their are other goals i have, don't think your off some hook, the only reason i will help you is because your claimed friendship to Xylo, he is my ally." He telepathically told him, "If i found out this was a lie, then you will have a halo over your head, no...worse." His voice was not one of idle threats, he would make the ogre payed if he had tricked him, not that plato thought he really was, even if he was he was not going to get past the powerful xylo, so it was really not much. The King rushed towards Sagi, "Do whatever hand thingy you got to do i can do the rest just act like your just doing some super powerful attack." He said to Sagi in a telepathic call. The crowd began to roar the battle was finally going to begin.
Sagi Shi's eyes widened when he stated he still planned to win. "D-Damn it...I still need to see these warriors up close..." Sagi Shi knew it wasn't a total loss. Observing from the crowd was still an option. But an actual test of skill with the warriors who could potentially help him reach his goals...having a lot of power was one thing. But a persons character was another.
Sagi Shi felt a rush of relief when Plato finally agreed into going through with letting the Oni win. The Ogre smirked and responded, "Don't fret, trust me your judgment won't be regretted." The Konatsian rushed at him telling him to use a powerful move. Of course, in power level comparison, nothing would be considered a powerful move. However, Sagi caught his drift. Suddenly, his power level shot up. A purple aura flared around him. He raised his palm slowly causing red dust to appear from the floor. It floated up taking form into mini red shards! "Pained Paralysis!" He pushed his palm towards Plato, the attack attempting to pierce his skin and harm him from the inside. "You have my thanks...I owe you one." ---
Plato rushed forward heading right at the ogre drawing his blade the speed of his rush smoke flying from behind him as he heard the ogre yell red shards rushing at the king. Plato pulled his blade back blocking some of the shards but some of them hit his armor though the damage was minor. He finally stopped in front of the ogre as the smoke caught up surrounding the two fighters His green eyes finally shining through the smoke, they seemed complety inhuman. Soon the rumbling began to occur of course the noise while loud no one could see was going on. But Sagi could in the midess of the smoke as flames began to form from under sagi and Plato he looking at sagi, "You get to see something not many can claim they have seen be grateful." He said softly as a large fiery beast stood behind Sagi, before telepathically calling sagi, "Outstretch your hand." It seemed to those who could not see the beast a third aura had appeared in the ring though they could not see it, What was going on they would have no idea. As he telepathically called Sagi he made sure to wait for him to outstretch a punch before the beasts arm rushed forward zipping past Sagi.
The beasts fist flew past slamming into Plato causing a thunderous explosions as the smoke lifted the beast disspearing as its master had just been defeated the smoke rushing around Plato as he flew back being flung right out of the arena into a wall with extreme force. His body slammed into the grass his eyes rolled back, as he layed their in the rubble with sagi's arm outstretched the smoke finally clear, flame still flicked around Sagi, with the mix of three powers some could assume that might of been sagi's full power or maybe they'd assume he soummoned something whatever the case was, Plato had been careful to not allude to the fact the ki was his own and it being used for the most brief of moments it would not be easy to detect this, the ki would be hard to fully describe and match to the beast he may of needed to summon later. He had held his end of the bargen, But he made sure to summon the beast not just because it was needed, but as a warning, that would be the creature to kill sagi if he was lieing, hopefully the ogre understood that. Regardless Plato slowly got to his feet far after any 10 count, but he would get up an angered look on his face and without a word afterwords heading away, he had lost.
*Plato has been "Defeated"* *Advancing to the loser brackets * *Briefly used Monster unchained making his powerlevel:303,239.75* *Gonna take powerlevel with heavy weights* *Enjoyed the thread alot hopefully sagi and plato can thread another time*
The former King appeared with such force and speed! Sagi couldn't keep up! Smoke surrounded the area leaving him extremely surprised. A cold sweat ran down his neck as he saw the menacing shimmering eyes gaze down towards him. He furrowed his eyebrows and felt a strange pit in his stomach. Was he afraid? The power this guy was giving off was surreal! Plato told him he'd reveal something not many people got too see which left him bemused. What was it...a special technique?
Before he knew it, he sensed another presence. That was impossible...the only people here were Plato and him...! The flames surrounded the Oni, leaving him completely speechless. He was familiar with the art of magic, but this was...a whole different experience. He nodded slowly at Plato's instructions and clenched his fists tightly, releasing a purple aura around the flames dancing around his form. He threw it towards Plato, the energy jumping out and striking the Konatsian outside the ring crashing into the wall. A loud 'BOOM' roared throughout the stadium, and the crowd absolutely loved it. Smoke filled the area where Plato hit, and rubble fell off the wall. The Oni's eyes were slightly wide open in surprise. How did he manage to...he looked at his hands, the flames slowly fading away. He clenched his fists and smirked, claiming victory. ---
