The phenomenon that was taking place before her focused on the seven now glowing spheres meant nothing to Shemha. Clearly it was significant enough to draw this sort of attention, but unfortunately she was ignorant to what the Dragon Balls even were. Because of that her attention was mostly on Habana and Jala as the trio approached, looking to follow their lead. That being said the sudden message broadcast assumedly across the Empire’s network, her own scouter included, left the Majin’s eyes wide.
Zucceta was stepping down, something that caught the red skinned warrior by surprise. The Queen of the SSE was a powerful warrior and although one Shemha was yet to meet, an individual she already respected. It was true she knew nothing of the woman’s personality, but the fact she commanded respect from the entirety of the Empire and individuals like Jala and Habana, that was enough. She had always wanted to talk with her in person, swear her loyalty to the ruler of the Empire she served. That chance would come soon, but not in the way Shemha expected. According to the announcement, Habana was to take the Zucceta’s place as Queen.
Jala must have picked up the same channel, her words to Habana an indication that whatever it was that was going on here was secondary to the sudden appointment. The Comman…Queen’s confidence that everything he was under control was all Shemha needed. Despite the offer to remain, she did not wish to miss this transition of power. Habana was ranked above her regardless, but now she was unrivaled. To stand alongside her and serve would be more of a reward than ever.
Fully intending to leave along with her superiors, Shemha turned to pay her respects to the others gathered. However, as she faced the group the words caught in her throat. Above them the sky darkened still, that dark collection interrupted only by a massive silhouette of a creature unlike anything the Majin could remember. Broad shouldered and towering above anything else within eyesight, the creatures intense eyes looked down upon them like a God might view mortals. She sensed power within it…but it felt different than the strength Habana radiated. This was…mystical. Then, just like that the creature vanished and with it the seven spheres shot out towards the horizon. Shemha failed to see them lifting off the ground as her eyes were locked on the dragon, but she did not miss their sudden departure.
Blinking once as she came to the realization that she looked like quite the buffoon, staring into the air with her mouth slightly agape, Shemha gathered herself. Around her the others appeared far less amazed than her, not unimpressed, but not caught off guard. Realizing Habana’s signature was already a decent distance away she refocused on the important matter at hand.
”Please forgive me, but I must remain at Habana’s side.” The statement accompanied by a small bow to those gathered before she turned to the Guru.
”As a soldier of the Empire and friend to Namek, I do hope I can visit you in the near future to properly meet you. Forgive my hasty departure, Guru.” With a bow now directed solely at Accordio, Shemha paid her respects. Quickly though she straightened and took to the air, in pursuit of her allies. In silence she pondered what she just witnessed and what exactly it meant. All questions for the Guru when they met again. Right now she needed to focus on what this change in leadership meant for the Empire and the reasons behind it.
(Shemha is leaving the thread in pursuit of Habana. Will take Zeni as long as I am allowed to leave!
