TOMA THE HEROToma pushed open the large wooden double doors of the Turtle Hermit Dojo that he had helped build long ago, stepping inside with a sigh. As much as he hated to admit it, what Celmaru had said to Ninjin was true. The Turtle School needed to be revived, and what better time to do it than now?
Toma had offered to train Rabiko, a half saiyan from deep space who had great potential. But the more he thought about it, the more he realized -- it wouldn't be fair to train her properly unless he could give her the training he received during his time as a Turtle Student, when he'd been studying under Ninjin.
And so, he had decided that he would become the official master of the Turtle School. The school needed one, doubtlessly, and Toma already had a student lined up. It was only one student, but it was better than nothing. He'd be more than happy to take others, and already have a few plans for gathering more martial artists to train under him.
Walking into the back room of the temple, he opened up a small, dusted cupboard. Inside, there were various scrolls of differing sizes, each having training methods for the Turtle School. The Kamehameha, the Kienzan... and several other techniques.
Toma began to read through these abilities. Sure, he knew how to use them himself, but what good was that if he couldn't teach it to others? He hoped that by reading these scrolls, he could put his own twist on teaching them to other people.
And so, he pulled each scroll open and continued reading, waiting for others to join him.

TOMA THE HEROAs the hours passed, Toma had ran through scroll after scroll. He had gotten a good idea of how he should teach his students about the abilities of the Turtle School. Though, mostly, it was about the Kienzan. Sure, the Kamehameha was the signature move of the school -- even a random street citizen could tell you that Nine times out of ten.
The Kamehameha was a self explantory ability. It was, at its core, nothing more than a strong basic Ki blast that had the ability to destroy worlds when used by the wrong hands. But anyone could make one of those. No, the more complicated (and more powerful) technique that the Turtle School held was the Kienzan.
The Kienzan, also known as the Destructo Disk, was an incredibly powerful technique. The Great Equalizer, Toma had come to nickname it. It was an ability so strong that it could harm anyone, regardless of power level simply due to how the Ki was set up. How it did this even Toma didn't fully understand.
But then he had a thought. Perhaps Celmaru could help him figure out how to help with his students, and get his opinions on the school as well. At the very least, the man deserved to know that Toma was attempting to teach the newest generation of martial artists with this school.
It was strange how Ninjin had yet to show up, however. He had thought she would've joined him here today. Not that it particularly bothered him -- she was probably still busy with the babies. And it wasn't like they didn't have time.
And so, Toma sat down, pulling out a capsule and tossing it to the side. The capsule exploded into a food and tea set, ready to be used. And so, Toma began brewing some jade Tea, a flavor Ninjin had introduced him to.
He raised his Ki a little, and cast out his senses. After locating Celmaru's energy, he'd send a telepathic message to the man.
"Greetings, Celmaru. My name is Toma, I'm Ninjin's husband. I'd like to speak to you at the turtle dojo in the southern islands if you have the time. Care to join me?"

(Current PL: 11,241 due to Heavy Weights) (True PL: 44,966) ( Attire) There it was.....The Turtle Hermit Dojo. Marcel, the demonic Saiyan stood in front of the wooden doors as he looked to them in awe. The man has heard rumors of this place, and the sacred techniques it taught. The reason Law was here is that he wished to learn these moves, believing it to be appropriate if he wished to be someone who wanted to protect this world rather then using his 'unholy' moves that he had taught himself. He wanted to come to this place for awhile now, hearing stories about it from his Step Father, but could never muster up the courage to, believing that someone of his blood wouldn't be allowed in such a place. Now he still doubts it, but was able to find the courage within himself to show up. He clenched his fists, his eyes closed before taking a deep breathe. He then opened his hands, along with his crimson black slit eyes shortly afterwards, looking upon the door once more. He had no idea what would be in store for him beyond those doors, but the only way to find out was to go past them.... In which he did. Marcel opened the doors, a creak could be heard as he stepped in, closing it behind him. He gazed upon the decently sized room, and the things within it, a small smile on his face as he felt accomplished in being able to step in, but now wasn't too sure on what to do next. He walked further in, looking around at the walls, and such, perfectly clear that this place has been around for some time. He quickly stopped as he felt it, ki coming from the door at the end of the dojo. It felt lower than the hybrid's actual power level which was currently suppressed due to the weights he wore underneath his attire. At first, Marcel only wore them when he trained, but now he has gotten used to them to the point that he keeps it on most of the time, believing that it also helps when not currently training. The hybrid wondered who held that power, who was beyond that door? He slowly made his way to the door, and was about to open it until he realized how rude that would have been. Instead, he knocked on the door. "Hello, is there anybody in there? If this is a wrong time, I can come back some other time." he politely said as he waited for an answer. Toma

TOMA THE HEROIt was strange how people seemed to find their way to one of the many Turtle Hermit dojo's in the world. To train, to strengthen themselves, to gain enlightenment. There were a myriad of reasons why one might decide to devote themselves to the path of the turtle. In Toma's case, it had simply been to get stronger -- to use his power to protect the planet.
It helped that he had studied under the previous hermit, who was his wife. They had gotten married shortly before she decided to teach him. It was strange really -- he hadn't known she was the turtle hermit until he was in a relationship with her.
Funny how things work out like that.
Toma snapped out of his line of thought when he felt a dark Ki approaching, his eyes turning to the door. The power level was comparetively small to his own, and even smaller still to someone like Bing. But it was certainly respectable in the end, far stronger than the average Saiyan or Human.
And so, Toma stood, as he heard the voice spoke. He noted that this persons Ki felt eerily similar to that of Maeve. He knew she was a demon from the demon realm, and that spoke volumes about her character. The Demon-goddess had done so much good for this world that Toma found it impossible not to respect her.
And he was more than willing to give this person a chance, too. Toma knew from experience that people from all races deserved a chance. Toma knew he wouldn't be as strong as he was without his allies being willing to trust a Saiyan when he first got to Earth.
So he walked out of the back room of the Dojo, smiling and waving a hand at the visitor. "Greetings!" Toma spoke excitedly, genuinly interested in the newcomer. "And you're fine. I was going to be here for a while anyways. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Marcel stood there as he waited for an answer. Maybe it was a bad time, or perhaps they were asleep? Either way, Law was about to cut his losses, and leave, turning around in the process until he heard the sound of the door opening, causing him to glance over his shoulders before turning completely back around to face the man. The first thing that caught the hybrid's attention was the man's hair, and eyes, not only that, but the obvious tail (if he could see it.) Not to mention the aura that so much reminded him of his mother's. This man was another Saiyan, a full blooded Saiyan! But what was he doing here? It couldn't be that he was the.... "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Marcel." he bowed. "Marcel Law." he stood back up, looking at the man before him. "I've actually came here in search for the master of this dojo." he explained, glancing away. "I wish to learn under them. I already have experience, even my own techniques, but in the end...." he looked down at the palms of his hands, a dark aura appearing around them briefly before going away. "....it would be much more appropriate to learn more earth bound techniques if I wish to protect this very planet." he placed his hands back down as he looked back at the Saiyan. He wasn't sure if what he had just told the man made any sense, but to him he believed that it was necessary to do this, to learn what has been passed down here for generations. "Do you happen to be the master of this dojo?" he questioned, never actually finding out who the actual master was, but knew it must have been passed down from time to time. It would be interesting if it actually was a pure blooded Saiyan that currently ran this place. It would ease up the hybrid a bit though he was mainly worried about not getting in due to his demon side, but given the history this planet had with Saiyan's this would still be pretty interesting. TOMA THE HEROToma looked the boy over momentarily. He was polite, at least. That was a good start. He went on about how he wanted to train under the turtle hermit, and wanted to learn how to best protect this world. Toma smiled at that. It reminded him of how he'd first arrived to the planet.
"Then, my young friend, you've come to the right place." Toma spoke, nodding. He was, of course, wearing his Turtle Hermit Gi, though it was more elaborate than a normal Gi. His was a combination of Saiyan combat clothes and the Earth gi, with the blue undershirt that he wore over his black combat suit being weights.
"Unfortunately, there is no official turtle master. Not yet. Though I'm aiming to remedy that issue very shortly." He said, crossing his arms and nodding. "I'm currently in the process of becoming the schools official master, and soon enough I'll know if I am or am not it. Until then, I can only teach you basic things out of respect for the school, but... anything can help in the meantime, right?" He asked nervously, chuckling a little bit.
"I'd be happy to help you train and get stronger. My name is Toma. I'm a saiyan, as you probably guessed. It's a pleasure to meet you, Marcel. Tell me - what brings you to Earth in the first place? I'm guessing by your Ki you're not from around here? It certainly doesn't feel like a normal humans Ki."

A warm smile appeared on the hybrid's face as the Saiyan seemingly welcomed him into the dojo. It felt as if a huge weight was lifted off the man's shoulders, believing that he would've been kicked out the moment he set foot into the place. "Oh?" the hybrid's smile slowly faded at the unfortunate news of there not being a master currently. His worries about being accepted, or not were no longer there, but now it appeared that he has came all the way up here for nothing. He wondered what happened to the former master however. Hopefully it wasn't anything bad. His head perked up a bit as soon as the Saiyan claimed that he was currently working towards becoming the master. Perhaps it wasn't a waste of time after all. The Saiyan didn't feel as strong as Law, but the hybrid has come to learn that ki is something that could be suppressed, and knows not to underestimate one just because of how low their ki seemed. "Even if you aren't currently the master, I am honored that you're willing to spare some of your time to teach me." he said with yet another bow. He was honest with his words. Though this man isn't the master, it was clear that he learned under this dojo, and the hybrid was thrilled to get some training done by someone such as him. "A pleasure to meet you, Toma." he nodded as the Saiyan continued to talk. "Actually, I was born on this planet, but you are right about my ki." he said as he crossed his arms. "I actually have some Saiyan blood within me as well. The other half however...." he unfolded his arms, scratching the side of his cheek with a finger. "....isn't human." Still, Marcel had a problem with telling most people of his demon heritage due to his painful childhood, and the rep demons pretty much got. Saiyans didn't have a very good rep on here neither, but he's actually come to terms with that mainly because it was his demonic side that caused him so much suffering in his youth. He'd like to prove that all demons weren't evil as most people believed, but at the same time he wasn't ready to be completely out there about his demon side. Though he didn't admit it, he already had a feeling that Toma may already know, or at least might be suspicious of it as he recently found out that demonic ki stands out from most others as evidence of others calling the hybrid out on his race. Hopefully this would end well.... Toma

TOMA THE HERO"Oh? I see..." Toma began, chuckling to himself. So the boy was a hybrid, then? Well that certainly explained the strange Ki he was feeling eminating off the boy. He'd never felt Ki such as that -- mostly because the only demonic energy he'd ever really encountered was Maeve. And she, unlike the hybrid here, was 100% Demon, though that didn't mean much considering she was the Kami of Earth.
"Well, your other half is Demon, correct?" Toma would begin, smiling at the boy. "I'm just guessing, but your energy feels like the energy of a friend of mine. She's a demon as well, but she's a brilliant fighter and a great ally of mine. I'd trust her with my life." He spoke, nodding. He had no quarrel against Demons. Much like he had no issue with most things, really. Bad apples spoiled most of the bunch, and he was ready to deal with those. Even if it was another Saiyan.
"I'd be happy to teach you, but..." He said, bringing his left wrist up to his face, moving the cloth of the glove aside some, to look at a watch. "It's getting late, and my wife is expecting me home soon. Gotta take care of the kids and all that." He said, chuckling. "But if you're wanting to learn, care to come back here tomorrow? Just look for my energy in the morning and I'd be happy to discuss this further, okay?" He said, walking towards the door. His smile never left his face, and after he lifted off the ground, he began blasting away towards his home. "Cya tomorrow!"

The hybrid nodded with a small smile as the Saiyan chuckled. It appeared that things were going good so far, so it felt like the man could lower his guard some. Didn't seem like he noticed the hybrid's demon half. That is until Toma continued.... Marcel froze up as the Saiyan asked that question. Dammit! He sensed it, that dark aura of his, but Law shouldn't be too surprised. Still, it worried him dearly. He knew this whole time that he was a demon, so was this a ploy to make the hybrid lower his guard? Marcel was ready to fight if things were to turn violent, but he really didn't want to, as he only came here to learn. Fortunately, that didn't appear to be the case. He began to speak highly of this ally of his that too was a demon. Marcel's eyes widened some as the guy claimed that he'd trust this woman with his life. This was actually the first that the hybrid ever heard anyone speak so highly of a demon. Sure he has friends that know of his demonic half, but whether they trusted him with their lives is questionable. To hear someone have such faith in a demon brought a small smile to the guy's face before nodding briefly. "Yes, the other half is demon actually." Toma then explained that he had to go back to his wife, and kids, but he'd be able to teach him tomorrow. A Saiyan who was a family man? Marcel couldn't help, but be a bit surprised as he let out a small chuckle too. "I understand." The hybrid's mother who was Saiyan acted as you'd expect an actual mother to act towards the man when he was a child, but once Law reached his teens, her pride which she briefly lost began to show itself, resulting in her abandoning her son, and his step father as she deemed them weak among other things. "I will be looking forward to the training, Toma sensei." Marcel bowed as his new teacher took off. He then took one more good look around this room with a small grin as he couldn't wait to learn what has been passed down from generation to generation on this planet he so wishes to protect before flying off himself back to the Bamboo Forest. -Exit- Toma(Would like Zeni please when ya turn this in.)
