TIME KEEPS SLIPPING
Guardia quickly hopped after Shen when he walked into the hospital with Chai slung over his shoulder. The goat quickly fell back into unconsciousness, giving one last pleading look to his longtime sword partner before passing out. The sword remained silent while the nurse directed them to an empty room, suspiciously eyeing the sentient sword that was tailing the man. Guardia slammed into the door leading into the room Chai was taken into when it closed behind him, causing the sword to fall onto his back with a loud clatter. While he got back to his nonexistant feet, Shen would walk back out of his room, updating the blade on his partner's condition. A look of dread and concern was visible in the sword's eye. What if they couldn't save him? What if he died, and Guardia was left alone? Turning around to look out the window, the sword noted Duri's absence, and some screaming outside. Before he could go investigate, the saiyan returned in front of the hospital. What happened out there? It sounded like the time the Rebellion was fighting Bing and the Special Forces- the time when Kaula fell, specifically.
Staying silent, the sword just let out a telepathic grunt when Shen apologized for prying. He spoke of Hell being a joke, and if there was one, he would know about it. '...You have no idea.' The sword would briefly speak to Shen alone, a glum and tired expression in his eye. The sword had been to actual hell when he was a wee demonic spirit, and that was nothing compared to the mortal world he arrived in when he escaped the demon realm. Remaining slient, the sword would just clatter and lie down on a couch in the waiting room, eye shut and planted against the fabric of the couch. Needless to say, the blade seemed to be quite blue now. He just nodded in response when Shen spoke of paying the medical bill, still just lying down and thinking, worrying, and catastrophizing. Chai was going to die, most likely... That's what the worrisome blade thought, anyways. Lying down and not even flinching with every scream from the terrorists outside, the blade just sighed, raising his head up and looking in the direction of the room Chai was taken to. He was clearly worried sick about his partner...
