Thread PL: 105,586 | Resillium Core(x9): 950,274 | Inhibitor Gauntlets ACTIVE: 237,569 Everywhere Carva went, the Android would find that his appearance would garner alot of stares. On one hand, though he'd exhibited the scars of battle, Carva was quite the handsome android. He could understand completely why female eyes would fall upon him. However, he got stares due to another reason as well. First of all the android was over six and a half feet tall with wild, spiked black hair. At first glance, he'd obviously be mistaken for a Saiyan.
But why was this racial profiling so common? Could it be the SSE Armor he wore, still in pristine condition? Could be. Saiyans had invaded Earth once before and there were still many people who feared them. His mission required stealth and the ability to gather information without his subject running away screaming in fear.
He'd left his armor in the cave that day, and put on a simple t-shirt and jeans combo which he'd "acquired" from a smart ass trucker who insulted his appearance, mostly poking fun at his amber colored eyes. He'd took the trucker hat, which said "Git R' Dun" on it, the hair itself red with a white visor.
Needless to say the dirty, oversized clothes did the well kept Saiyan Android no favors. So naturally, he just happened upon the first clothing store he found...he didn't bother to read the name as his "upgrades" still hadn't done much for his patience. The door dinged as he stepped through, eyes scanning the small shop from under his black shades.
The android would call out. "Hello? Is there anyone here? I am in need of assistance." His tone was very cool, and calm...like the man was a professional. He was actually trying to fit in, but quite stiffly.

Ramina was organizing the latest display in the back corner; having a fairly slow day as so it was. A soft ding, the doorbell would sound in the sharp feline's ears; and the silver cat emerged through clothing racks. Long black hair fell down to her waist, vibrant orange eyes scanning her customer as the snow leopard zoanthrope wore a short black dress and matching heels of which clicked softly on the floor. Her long tail swayed through the hole in the back of said dress; all her clothing was custom tailored for her own comfort whilist having versions normal humans could wear without a hole in the back.
Her shop catered to men, women, zoanthropes, and more. For a small shop there was signs hanging above sections which read Zoan F 10-16 Dress; or Male 16-20 Jeans. The shop was organized, and a woman tapped her shoulder to check out. Getting the Zeni from the woman for the dress, which cost about $20, the female happily walked out with her newest clothing article. After the woman left, the shop owner looked over the android standing before her who was wearing rather dirty clothing. It was easy to tell whether the people who came in were what race; as Saiyans looked humanoid but had rasher, braver ki.
Androids on the other hand, had no ki at all which made the silver cat curious as to why. One glimpse of the furry waistband was all she needed to know, and the cat gave a smile and gestured to the back of her store. "Right this way sir; my name is Ramina and I will be your assistant today. If you'll come with me, I will show you where we keep clothing befitting for men such as you." Her tone was nonaggressive; as for some reason this person had no aura of aggression. Whether ki or not, the Zoanthrope was always very kind to her customers regardless of race.

For all intents and purposes, the Saiyan turned Android still had a Saiyan mindset deep down. So naturally, he'd wonder why Ramina was so easy going with him given his massive power until he realized that she couldn't sense his power. Noone could, unless they had a scouter. On one hand, he'd grown to like the fear he'd instilled in his enemies but on the other it was a relief to be treated normally for once. Upon her greeting, the Android's lips curled up into a friendly smile. He had to blend in, after all. "Good to meet you, Miss Ramina. I am Carva, and I have just moved here from K-" He cleared his throat as if he had a slight cold. He didn't need to let anyone know his point of origins, or else he'd be linked back to SCAR. "-The Yunzabit Highlands, and my clothes were destroyed during the move by bandits. Nasty snow bandits."
His demeanor would remain calm and peaceful as he followed her deeper into the store, his amber eyes scanning her body's power out of habit. She wasn't threatening to him in the least. As he stepped into the large men's clothing section with Ramina, he looked around. "Very nice shop, Ramina. I see you have a variety to choose from. When I saw the shop from the outside, I didn't think it was was this big!" A bit of genuine amazemery could be heard from the Android as he thumbed through the clothes, and then frowned. "I don't know where to start...I wanted something casual, but professional at the same time..." He looked at Ramina questioningly. "...do you gave any suggestions?"

Ramina began walking towards the large male clothing section; listening as the android introduced himself by the name of Carva. The first thing that came to her mind was carving pumpkins for Halloween; and she shook her head briefly to clear the thoughts away. His explanation of clothes being destroyed by snow bandits caused the fashion-savvy feline to sigh in semi frustration. "Good waste of clothing, how stupid are some bandits. At least keep them intact." Muttered the cat, as they approached the men's section. One row had slacks that looked like you could wear them without looking too professional; and a matching shirt on the other side of the first aisle.
"Oh, Thank you for visiting The Cat's Meow today, Sir Carva. It isn't often I get to help men of your size, so this is a bit of a refresher for me.." The silver feline's tone was friendly, as he said he didn't know where to start she practically lit up. A quick overview of his body structure and height and she immediately got to work with getting quick measurements and disappearing into the hangers and hangers of clothing. The Zoanthrope brought out a stack of nice clothes along with a folding table, and spread them out for Carva to have a look. "Ah.. this blue here would look rather nice on you, but if you are looking for more casual colors you can try this beige or black."

He'd have to admit, the young Zoan's customer service was top notch. The stoic android nearly cracked a smile at the short, silver cat. When he first saw her, the first thing he thought of would be the way most Earthlings kept house cats. He narrowed his eyes in deeper thought, looking within his own past. As a child, a Saiyan child, Carva has a tiny green kitten named Broccers. Staving off the thoughts of the past to remain strong at heart, he asked Ramina out of curiosity. "So I don't believe I've seen your type around here before, Ramina. Are you like the humans?" He'd never seen a Zoanthropic being before.
Carva would ask this question as the two browsed through the pressed slacks, the android reaching up to rub his chin. "I think I like the khaki color better than the black slacks. Perhaps a dark blue shirt would be best?" He'd pick out the two articles clothing from the racks and hold them up to his chest and waist, almost as if asking for the Zoan's opinion.

Ramina chuckles quietly as Carva asked about her; asking if she was alike to the humans that roamed bountifully on this planet. "It depends on what sense you mean. If you mean we walk on our hind legs; yes. If you mean we have a liking to material objects, yes. What do you mean exactly; so I can answer correctly." Her tone was in no way aggressive or even offended; the Zoanthrope asking curiously as she noticed the android holding up two clothing articles.
Her ears perked up in surprise, shaking her head as she pulled out a shirt in the same fashion as the beige slacks, only it matched them in color. "This will look much better, dark blue with brown is a very bad combination if you ask me. Both colors look good on you, but just not together." If he was asking for her opinion, the saiyan machine certainly got one. Taking a step back to admire the handiwork after giving Carva the light brown shirt to hold, the silver feline's tail twitched. "Ah. beautiful.. Is this what you wanted?"

She had answered him but with questions. He didn't expect that to say the least, and honestly, he was just making conversation. What did he mean by his line of questioning? No deeper meaning. Carva stroked his chin and brushed aside the questions with an answer of his own. "Oh, nothing. I was just making conversation. But I have noticed that the an average human will stare, and it times make judgemental observations." He said, running his fingers over the fabric of some of the clothing. "At first glance, you would assume that I am a Saiyan. But you seem to perceive something different, am I correct?"
Carva took the clothing in his hands and looked at the beige coloring. At first the Zoan's words would fall on deaf ears as he wanted to argue, but then he rememberednodded his head. His fashion sense wasn't what you would call sharp. He looked from side to side, then back at Ramina. "Do you have a place where I can try these on, Miss Ramina?"

The Zoanthrope took a good look at the male, the beige coloring looking rather nice at this point of view but it seemed he wasn't too happy with the clothing. After a small amount of time, the feline's rummaging in the clothing pile revealed two articles of clothing that were pure black of the same fashion. "If you want to try on both outfits you may, but please follow me to the dressing areas." Her tone was businesslike yet friendly, the shop owner was very calm as she began to think of the questions asked of her.
"Do I perceive something different? I see a customer and a very well-made android. I don't judge based on race, I judge based on actions because as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words." They would arrive at the tall changing rooms, varying sizes for varied people and each with a curtain surrounding a stall made of concrete. Soft music played in the background, and Ramina would wait for Carva to emerge after showing him how to get in and out of the stalls.

He watched her rummage through the clothing, noting in his mind how fragile Earthlings truly were. He knew what he was capable of, but she didn't. He knew his power had increased nine fold since he'd died and his hands were instruments of death. But Ramina's fragility was what saved the feline; that and she'd shown the battle scarred android a kindness that he wasn't used to. He looked between the outfits, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Both very nice choices, Lady Ramina. Tell me, do you get these clothes from overseas? They do not seem to be of poor quality at all, I love what you have going on here." He was very complimentary, and through his almost mechanical tone, she could hear his sincerity.
Deep down, Carva was evil. However, he'd maintained the sense of honor instilled in him from his birthright. Having power meant not abusing it. His orders did not say to kill anyone. He was simply there to gather information.
The first time he stepped out of the dressing room, he'd be wearing the beige outfit. He wasn't so keen on it, but he'd pose and turn for the zoan, almost seeking her approval. Next, he'd dissappear once again and reappear wearing the solid black outfit. Now, he liked this particular outfit. Outwardly it was very casual yet professional looking. As he posed, he looked at Ramina curiously. "You must see alot of people come through here, yes Lady Ramina?"

Carva asked whether she had her business run overseas, to which the cat waited to respond after he came out of the dressing room. After seeing the beige on him, the silver cat put a paw to her chin and shook her head. Once he appeared wearing the black outfit, posing and turning at her direction if he wished, she lit up excitedly. "Ah, yes yes this is it!" Cried the zoanthrope, tail waving excitedly. "You look handsome in that outfit, and I think I have the shoes to match!' And from the stand beside her lay a pair of black boots, professional boots that shone slightly in the light.
"I do not get any of my merchandise from overseas, no sir. I make them all by paw in the designer room downstairs. I pride myself on being able to provide the people with good clothing at good prices, and things for everyone. I sow, stitch, and tie everything together with my paws. I do indeed see many come through here; and might I ask why perchance? Are you looking for a specific person?" The snow leopard was curious, keeping the friendly yet sincere tone. The black outfit looked very attractive on the person before her, android or not he sure knew how to work fabulous clothing.

It was purely by happenstance that the silver cat had just the right size for Carva's feet, which were quite large. He himself was quite large, yet he moved with the gracefulness of a light heavyweight. Strapping the boots on, tying them, he stood and almost towered over Ramina. The warrior cast a large shadow, and would be quite intimidating if not for the light blush of red in his cheeks. He cleared his throat and swallowed, staving off that warm tingling feeling in his cheeks. "Ahem...these are very nice Miss Ramina. And thank you for the compliment, it's not something that I hear every day." Once again, he held back a smile.
Walking around a bit, breaking in the shoes, his footfalls made light thumps on the carpet of the zoan's shop. He turned and stretched a bit, yawning. He would answer her question with one of his own. "A friend of mine actually asked me to find a human by the name of Katsu Yuda. Supposedly, he is one of the greatest scientists on Earth, but personally..." He chuckled. "...I believe seeing is believing." To ensure that he'd get the information he wanted, he'd turn on the charm a bit. His teeth with sparkle as he smiled. "Before I saw you Miss Ramina, I never believed Earthlings could be so lovely and skilled with their han-...er...paws."

Ramina looked at Carva, not at all intimidated by his height. He spoke of a certain human; the name ringing a bell in her head. He began to attempt charming her, to which the cat rubbed the back of her neck semi embarrassed. "Well.. thank you sir Carva.. But yes; I have heard of Katsu Yuda before. I don't know where he is at the moment but he is a bio-engineer for the Blue Banner to my understanding.." Her silver fur shone slightly in the light, complimented by her current outfit.

He looked at Ramina, wearing that outfit complimented by her silver fur. He genuinely found her attractive, and that was strange for the SaiyAndroid, who wasn't supposed to think about such things. He could only guess that Breech had left other aspects of his organics in tact, and he'd shrug it off as his technology. But as she told him that Katsu was a Blue Banner Army member, he'd looked shocked. "Oh really? Hrm, I suppose I will check into this Katsu Yuda. Perhaps he can help me with my organic components. Honestly I'd like to learn how to harness my latent power better and..." ahhh, this pretty lady wasn't interested in "warrior stuff" surely. He went on to go with his shopping. "...anyway, do you have a belt that matches these pants? Perhaps a wallet? I really wish there was a way I could put all of my Zeni onto a card..."
He honestly hadn't checked into banking. Maybe the Zoan could offer him some advice on banking as well.

Ramina's ears twitched as he spoke, the soft black semi-circular fuzzballs perked up and listening to the customer. He asked for a belt, and a matching one at that. She'd disappear and reappear with one in not too long of a timespan; weaving between the clothing lines and not getting a piece of fur on them. It was obvious her fur was very well-kept; soft and shiny and no shedding to be found.
"Here you are." Replied the feline, holding out the black strip of leather and musing quietly. "Well if you're looking to pay for the clothes, The entire outfit costs about 50 zenni. I could send you a bill if you choose."

He noted the woman's fur, and the grace at which she moved. Most women he'd met with that kind of grace weren't just normal shopkeepers. Not at all. From what he'd known from experience, women who were able to move like Ramina did had at least fought once or twice. As she returned with the belt, he'd hand her one hundred zenni, rather than fifty. "Here you go. The extra fifty is for your excellent service, Miss Ramina."
Once again, his thoughts would move back to the Zoan's claim of Katsu being affiliated with the BBA. Either one of two things could be true. Either Katsu was a double agent, or Breech was wrong. And Carva didn't dare question his creator, what with the failsafes installed in his body.
He donned the belt and the wallet and began to walk out of the shop, having paid the zoan. His organic components would suddenly stop him, as he found the zoan to be rather attractive and he'd look over his shoulder at her. "So...I shall be taking my leave now. It was nice to meet you, Ramina." He would then leave her with a small smile before leaving her shop in his new clothes.
(Thread exit, PL for me. Go ahead and transfer 100z from me to Ramina to reflect the IC change if possible.)
