The feline Zoanthrope had found herself assigned to a bar that had complaints from civilians of sickness and racket. The place smelled; yet she sat in the corner with her paws on her lap. The cat wore a deep blue dress that reached down to her knees, a silver bracelet on her wrist, and navy blue heels to match her dress. The bar allowed her in due to her adult status, yet she didn't purchase any alcoholic beverages for the time being. She was on a mission to see exactly how the glasses were cleaned while keeping her police status a secret.
Feline Fashion star by day and police cat by night, Ramina was living a life similar to Captain Nova. Her police name was Rami; a shorter version of her true name and one of her aliases. She had needed to replace her ear commule; since the strange Saiyaness encounter of which she'd met an Arcosian (Whom she thought was a overgrown lizard at first.) which had saved her from the other tailed female. Everything so far seemed to be going alright, hopefully this assignment wouldn't go down to hell in a handbasket as the cat thought.

It was amazing the sort of places that his job working for the BBA had him go to. Katsu was a scientist, and yet because they wanted to “field test” the effects of his Serum Katsu had been sent to a lot of places that no scientist would normally ever set foot! Tonight Katsu was being sent to some crummy bar in the Eastern Capital; some place called the Greased Nut. Katsu could only hope that the original name was referring to the tools used by mechanics, but in reality it was probably the other, sleazier meaning that was intended. Certainly not the kind of place that Katsu enjoyed drinking at. But hey, the BBA were paying him for these jobs, and the money really was quite good. Any funding he could funnel into his many projects was a boon, and these missions had almost always been worth the effort in the end.
This mission in particular was about a potential disaster getting ready to take place. Local Law Enforcement had gotten word that a Sentient trafficking ring was trying to worm it's way into the area, and given the absolutely horrid part of town this bar was in; it was the best place to try and get a hint on where the local base for the Ring was. So Katsu strode through the front door wearing his usual slacks and black dress shoes, his simple white shirt adorning his chest. He had left his labcoat behind simply because it stood out in a dive like this. His eyes glittered metallically for a moment as they adjusted to the gloom of the bar; it was as rundown and seedy as one could expect. The lights were barely cutting through the thick cigarette smoke that hung in the air; the radio was playing some old old rock songs, and Katsu couldn't see a clean glass in the building from his vantage point. Even the vintages behind the bar were poor class. This was certainly a place for the down and out or those looking to be secretive to come.
Moving up the bar Katsu looked at the alcohol behind the bar, eventually settling on a whiskey. At least it'd be safe to drink, hopefully. Pointing at the bottle Katsu gave the bartender a stern glare and some money, getting a death glare and the bottle in return. The top was popped and Katsu took a big swig of the beverage before giving a small shudder, “Ugh. Shit's terrible.” before walking away from the bar, finding a seat in one of the darkest corners of the room, remarkably close to Ramina's location. He sat in the chair, his legs up on the table as he leaned back, and then Katsu just eyed the rest of the bar, letting his gaze slide over anyone he pleased, and when anyone decided to give him a glare in return, they got a much fiercer glare from him until they one and all looked away.
“Tch. Hope I can get this over with quick. I hate weakness.” Katsu muttered to himself in a gruff voice, just loud enough for those nearby to hear, including Ramina...

The snow leopard zoan was quiet as she observed the mess around her, arguments ensuing and the yelling hurt her ears. Some of the people glared at her, to which the zoan hissed at them. One bold man decided to attempt to woo Ramina, his breath reeking as he spoke in her face. "Heyyyyy baby... why don't you let me show you a good time eh?" He chuckled, breathing some of the smoke in her face. The Zoan's claws came out in a flash, a swipe across his face followed by a splash of a small amount of blood. Ramina had given the man something to remember her by, and the claws were a mistake she semi didn't regret.
Her arms would return to their folded state, the navy blue dress on her complimenting the figure the female cat had. Some of the guy's friends decided to harass the zoan, pulling her up out of her seat and checking her over. One pulled her police badge out of her pocket, laughing at it. "Well lookit here boys! We got ourselves a police cat! Whaddya say we sell her for some nice Zeni? Looks like she can fetch a fair price, with that fur and body. Don't mangle our prize boys, she's gonna fetch us all a hefty amount of cash!" The cat would struggle, one of them holding her by the scruff of the neck suddenly, leaving the zoan paralyzed. "Hush now, don't struggle too much miss, or you'll damage your worth.~" Ramina would snap back at them, teeth curled aggressively. "I refuse to let you even try! LET GO OF ME!"

[OOC: Post is small, give me more to reply to next round and I can write a better post]
As the situation unfolded between the kitten who appeared out of her depth and the typical thugs who thought only with their primitive instincts, there would come a sudden interruption. A single whiskey bottle, still half full, would fly through the air at high speed. Katsu had thrown it, a look of annoyance and anger present on his face as he had to endure the loud noises of the altercation. The thrown bottle came with a single command uttered, “Shut the fuck up! I'm trying to drink alcohol you bastards!”
Kssssh!
The bottle and the voice hit the thugs at the same time, the glass bottle shattering on the back of the head of the man who was holding Ramina in position. The extreme velocity of the throw and the angle caused the bottle to rip open the man's scalp, grinding against his skull and leaving big ragged slashes on his head which immediately began to bleed profusely. If that man didn't get medical attention soon he would likely bleed out and die in a few minutes; that was how severe the lacerations were, and not to mention they had bits of glass still embedded in their head to complicate matters.
”Oh hell, shouldn't have thrown the bottle. Now who's going to pay for my next drink, Hrm?”

Ramina took the advantage to duck onto her hands, twisting her body to whip out a two small pistols with taser bullets equipped. She tapped her earpiece twice, and got ahold of the police officer at the station. "Sir? This is Alpha C12 reporting in and I must say, we've found quite a few traffickers here. I believe its time to activate the Roundup operation ASAP; meet me at the bar. Alpha C12 out." And with that, she clicked the safety off both pistols, one in each hand and aimed at the men closing in on her. "So now you want to party? Learn your lesson from this, boys!"
And with that, a few bangs would sound, taser nets popping out of the capsules and attempting to latch onto their chests. When they did, enough voltage was shot through their systems to stun them, and the Zoan moved quickly in three-inch heels. She kicked them off and proceeded to roundhouse kick someone who came in from behind, claws coming out to slash at a few of the burly men in the bar. It seemed there was a bar fight between the celebrity cat and the people of the bar; and for as dainty as she seemed she really wasn't in the mood to be playing games with idiots.
The silver cat continued to fight off the men around her, leaving quite a few people injured but none of her attacks were to be lethal in any way, shape, or form. Sirens wailed and the cat's friends arrived to arrest the perpetrators and take a few of the other punks to jail for assault and battery charges of a police officer. After the mess cleared, the zoan looked at Katsu with vibrant orange eyes. "Might I ask who you are?"

As if there was nothing at all wrong with what he had done, Katsu merely sat back down in his seat after throwing the bottle, giving another huff that he had wasted his alcohol. Or, at least that was how his acting lead everyone to believe. Inwardly Katsu was completely ambivalent about the entire affair thus far. On one hand the feline was obviously a choice target for Sentient traffickers; her physical beauty and strength would have her sell well on the black market; so letting the thugs take her and then following them would have been an easy way to locate the rest of them.... but on the other hand it was obvious she could take care of herself, and the thugs here were the lowest of the low. Little more than apes in clothing to acquire product; they'd have no real knowledge of the masterminds behind the flesh market.
Thus, it was best to give just a bit of assistance to create a distraction for...another member of the trafficking ring to slip silently out of the bar, at least to everyone's eyes but Katsu's. Everyone else was just too inexperienced to see the mousy little man slip through a back door without so much as opening it. Katsu, while also inexperienced, had the benefit of his genetic engineering of his own body; his senses were far more acute than normal, and they noticed the small discharge of Ki as the man flattened his form to fit into the gap between the door and the frame, less than one sixteenth of an inch.
With any luck, the probes that Katsu had left in the area would track his movement and overhear his next conversation or two; see if Katsu got any tips for a location. Unfortunately it seemed that the Kitty cop wanted to talk to Katsu. Continuing his original act flawlessly Katsu gave a great sigh, standing up and hunching his shoulder's as if Ramina were ruining his day by her presence, “Ah geez, the cops. Shit I'm not gonna have any fun with the lowlifes with such a pretty kitty with handcuffs on the prowl.
“I think I'll be clearing out of here, no need to see me out, I know the way.” Katsu strode with big steps towards the door, slipping by any other cops nearby deftly, and completely ignoring the feline after that point. Katsu made a mental note to set one of his Recon bots to follow her as he left the building.
A quick burst of speed and Katsu was suddenly three blocks away and completely out of sight of the bar, a couple more bursts and Katsu was several more blocks away, sitting on a random roof, and pulling out his datapad in order to adjust the targets of his Recon Probes. Katsu might end up seeing that slender kitten again tonight...

Ramina watched as her fellow police officers cleared out with the mess being solved. A sigh of relief would come from her lips as she rubbed the fur on her muzzle, slight irritation coming from the cat. Of course the man she wanted to talk to as to merely ask why he seemed to be so crabby seemed to not give a literal damn and left the area. Redonning her heels and a soft black jacket; the zoanthrope made her way out of the messed up business and began to head home.
She would reach her store and unlock it, careful to relock the door and avoid the multiple traps she set up thanks to her slender body. The feline went to change into her nightgown and climb into bed, cuddling up in the covers and closing her tired, vibrant orange eyes. Her work had been done.. for now..
A sudden bang would come from the floor downstairs, waking the feline who went to grab her gun. Cocking it she aimed at the door and waited for whoever was coming in, only to have a noise distract her and the door be busted down. The silver feline would fire her taser bullets, only for them to hit the smaller grunts while the bigger ones continued to advance. She hissed and shot a few more stunners, before stepping back once the gun was wrenched from her paws.
"Now now kitty. Calm down." Spoke one of the grunts, as the Zoanthrope hissed and slashed at his eyes, causing the man to roar and knock over some of the furniture. The goons advanced, Ramina swiping this way and that until a neck chop collapsed the zoan into the arms of a ringleader. "We've got what we needed boys, now lets go before the cops get here." And with that, they took the unconscious zoan to their hideout, binding her and gagging her in a chair.

Several hours after his quick exit from the bar area; Katsu sat atop a building far from where he had settled before, his Ki reduced to the absolute minimum to avoid detection. He still had the same datapad in his hand, watching the data fly across the screen that was being transmitted from his numerous Recon Probes. The one thug that he had noted leaving the area had been exactly what Katsu was hoping for. A higher up who had been sent to watch the thugs from the shadows; he had immediately retreated back to base to report their stunning failure. Well, base was a bit presumptuous. The place was more like a waystation, being little more than a few beds, a fridge, and a secured phone line. No doubt the Traffickers hadn't had much time in the city yet; so their resources were limited. Katsu was going to make sure they fully regretted trying to bring their business to East City; after all the BBA was paying him a lot of money to do just that.
So the slippery man had phoned home, but Katsu couldn't get close enough to eavesdrop the call. The man was a stealth specialist, if it wasn't for Katsu using his Recon Probes to assist his search even he would have lost track of the man. He didn't want to risk getting too close and alerting the man of his presence. Unfortunately the man had stayed exactly where he had made the call for three hours; and Katsu had to give up on the notion that he might lead Katsu to the ringleaders. He had to give the bastards one thing; they definitely were tight on their security protocols.
Sighing in frustration at his best lead ending up empty, because even if he stormed the place and tortured the man for info, by the time he made it to the hideout they'd have been long gone. Then it'd turn into a chase, and Katsu may or may not be able to get all of the traffickers. No, his best bet was to try and find one of their auctions in progress and then murder anyone there who wasn't for sale at the time. Keeping some alive to question and verify they were part of the ring, otherwise the BBA wouldn't pay. So, sighing in frustration Katsu turned his attention to his other lead. The feline Zoan policewoman.
If they had tried to take her one time, only to be foiled, they might well try to take her again. A security minded person would obviously shy away from such a prospect, but a lot of criminals weren't the smartest in the end and would let their pride get the better of them. It might be so with Ramina; which was the name of the Zoan officer. Having access to BBA databanks allowed him to get all the info he needed on the woman, and Katsu figured someone else would be able to get the info themselves. They'd see the woman had no family at present, no one who would miss her if she went missing. Presumably that was the original reason they tried to kidnap her. Katsu had kept an eye on her position from the time she had left the bar, and the building he was sitting on was right across the street from her home.
It was interesting to see someone who had such a busy life as Ramina. She had a day job as fashion designer, but her moonlight job was as a cop. That had to wear on the average person, and Katsu found a good explanation for her much stronger than normal strength by human/zoan standards. Which was, unfortunately for her, another reason they'd pick her as a target. Stronger product sold better.
His musings distracting him for a moment Katsu almost missed the silhouettes of the four men who slipped into Ramina's home by way of breaking a window. A scuffle was easily picked up by Katsu's genetically augmented hearing, and soon it was over. The men slipped out of the house, carrying an unconscious Ramina over the leader's shoulder. Katsu could tell he was the leader because he had a powerlevel easily over three-thousand, a very high number for a normal human.
Katsu just grinned to himself. In their pride they hadn't thought that someone wouldn't be observing the situation, and he went completely undiscovered as he watched the men drop the Zoan female into a black hovervan and begin to drive off. Progress! Quietly leaping from building to building, his Ki still reduced to the limit, Katsu followed the vehicle as it threaded through the night streets, heading not into the poorest sections of the city as one might think such lowlifes dwelt, but rather into the uptown where all the big businesses dominated the landscape. It seems the Trafficking ring might have the backing of some business bigwig. Interesting.
A big warehouse was the final resting place of the van, pulling right into the building with the big gate shutting behind it. The security there was intense. However Katsu wasn't a normal person, no matter the number of normal people they were no problem for Katsu to take out or avoid. His telekinesis would easily let him slip into the nearest window of the building without so much as a sound. The building was big however, and Katsu had a lot of exploring to do. It'd be a little while before he even had the chance to come upon Ramina in her confinements, and so she was left to deal with her situation alone for now. Well, not alone, there were after all several other women who had been kidnapped that night as well, bound and gagged in the same fashion as her, spread across the room, each with a vigilant guard keeping an eye on the situation.

Ramina lay unconscious along the ride to the business holding area, eyes closed as she was strapped to the black hovervan. The gate's creak caused the zoan to faintly stir, but her mind was still partially numb. She was tossed into the chamber and lay on the floor, struggling against her bonds and moving her feet to claw at the gag, snapping it off her mouth as she tried to get the bonds on her front paws off, biting at them whenever the guard wasn't looking at her directly. She snapped the bonds and flew at the guard, claws out and hissing angrily.
Knocked out via taser stun to the chest, she was tossed into a literal animal cage and was left yowling after her awakening for the second time. She yowled and scratched at the bars, trying to get out and as such would start to damage her money's value via her chipping claws from the metal scratching. Her fur took tremendous upkeep as well, and as such the stress caused it to start matting and lose the natural shine as she continued to stress out.

While Ramina and the women dealt with the horrible reality of their situation Katsu continued his investigation of the complex. It was absurdly large for a warehouse; it didn't even fit in the building that it appeared to be from the outside. It was like there was some spacial manipulation going on, creating an interior larger than the exterior. That was Capsule Corp tech or alien tech. Either option wouldn't sit very well with the BBA at all. However to Katsu that would only mean a bigger paycheck for taking these bastards down. It definitely meant that Katsu would have to be perfectly careful to pull this operation off successfully. He couldn't make a single mistake, not one!
There was an old cliché concerning sneaking around buildings by way of air ventilation shafts, but Katsu found it a very useful tactic nonetheless. Yes, he had to fiddle with the security systems as he went, but it was a much easier time than he would have had trying to deal with all of the guards by stealth or violence, and again... discretion was key. So Katsu was traveling through the air ducts, slowly working his way up floor after floor. There were no Ki specialists in this building, a little fact that Katsu found suspicious, and so even though even his scouter couldn't find any other Ki signatures above the norm, he kept his own to the minimum and moved low and slow. It was still going to take a while for Katsu to get any sort of useful information out of this place, but perhaps soon he could grab one of the people in the know and...probe them for information...

Back in the room with the captive women, it was clear that Ramina was going to be a troublemaker if they let her, and the leader of the group growled to his men, “Hey, get that wildcat to calm down. She keeps going and the only thing we'll be able to sell her for is spare parts; our clients want pristine condition product only!”
Ramina would then be confronted by the most loathsome of the men who had been a part of her kidnapping, the one that she had managed to claw across the face. By now his wounds had swollen from her attack, and he couldn't see out of one eye, but he leered at Ramina all the same, his gaze completely vulgar. It was obvious he'd have “tested” the product if given the chance. Grinning at her the man tried to sound consoling, but only sounding creepy, “Now now, calm down there pretty kitty~. Gotta keep that hide nice and clean for the customers... Oh, I know!”
The leering man stood straight, moving away from Ramina's cage, dragging from a dark corner of the room a small child dressed in their pajamas, shaking with fear, spittle leaking from around the gag shoved in his mouth. He tried to shrink away from the leering man, but he ruthlessly dragged the kid forward and put them in front of Ramina's cage, grinning evilly at the pair. “This kid's an extra, sister to...to uh... I forget which one of these broad's brother he is, point is... he's worthless to us. We can't sell him to these clients. So here's the deal, see? You play nice and keep that fur clean and tidy for the customers or.... maybe me and him have some fun together and you get to watch. I'm not too particular, see? Understood, pretty kitty?”
How revolting...

Ramina hissed angrily, fur fluffing up as she managed to swipe at the first guard's face with full power, almost enough to decapitate him if she wanted to. Her claws sunk into his flesh, staining the soft silver of her paws. "You bastards.." Growled the cat, tail lashing as her vibrant orange eyes glared viciously.
The man pulled out a boy in his pajamas, to which the Zoanthrope's heart twisted in grief. He looked terrified, and with a sigh she smoothed her fur and began licking the blood off her paw; leaving it a shining silver once more. "Just.. Please leave him alone. I'll do what you want as long as you don't hurt him." She retreated to the corner, curling up in a soft ball as her fur caught some of the dirt on the ground.
This was a horrible situation she was stuck in, and the cat felt completely helpless. She couldn't fight her way out, the child would get hurt. Her line of duty forbade her to be a cause of harm to a child for her personal gain, and the silver cat's ears dropped sadly. This feline was quite depressed, tail tucked close to her body.

The swipe aimed at the leader of the men was incredibly fast, but not fast enough to catch him off guard, a mere tiny cut on the bridge of his nose the only thing that Ramina managed to get with her claw swipe. That and a sadistic laugh as the man licked the blood off of his nose, an evil grin on his face, “Ooh, feisty. I like one's like you, little kitten. Wish I had the extra cash to buy you myself, but the happy pleasure of breaking you in is reserved for your to be owner. Haha, by the time they're done with you the only choice you'll be able to make is which orifice you use for their morning service...Hahahahaha...!” Still laughing sadistically the man turned and walked off, giving Ramina a wave as she slumped into the corner of her cage.
Ramina had fallen into the true darkness of the world, the filthy minded men and other creatures that cared nothing for the dignity and well-being of others, seeing only what they could get from others. Sex slave trafficking was just another way for them to make money, and if they crushed the lives and hearts of the people they sold it was no matter to them. Truly detestable by almost any standard. As for Katsu? He had heard of people like this before, but he had never seen it personally before tonight. All he could think of was what an absolute waste the entire situation was. So many lives irrevocably crushed and shattered. So many people who would never progress any farther in their life, all to amuse some pathetic creature with far too much money on their hands. Pathetic, completely pathetic. Katsu never really got angry at people that often, because he knew they were little better than animals sometimes, but this just went against his entire viewpoint on life, of progress and evolution. These fools were actively defying such thoughts by wallowing in such a low minded and animalistic practice. If Katsu hadn't a reason to destroy these people before, he certainly had found one now.
He had made it to the security room of the complex, and thus far had not been discovered. It seems his not finding a Ki sense specialist was not because he couldn't sense them, but simply because they weren't there. Fortunate for him and the mission. There was plenty of files and documents in this room, and Katsu was gaining a lot of stored up blackmail on former clients of these creeps. With any luck he was going to be able to bring down every single person who had any ties to this group. Unfortunately it would take time, and Katsu would need to duck under cover as he heard someone coming towards the security room. The leader, the same man that Ramina had just taken a swipe at, slipped into the room to peer at the many camera's, checking all of their documents were in place (luckily telekinesis made for a quick replacement) and then reached for a microphone. “Alright boys, party's over. The Sell site is prepped, let's get those girls dolled up for the customers and. GET A MOVE ON!”
It seemed that it was time for the women to be moved to the auction site. While Katsu was silently exulting at this turn of events, the women would be having a less pleasant time as they were stripped and placed into sexy lingerie, to make them look more appealing to the customers. After that it was time for them to be moved to the final auction place, an expensive diner at the top of one of the biggest skyscraper's in the city, also known as the Freebird Tower. Ironic...

Ramina was laying in the cage, ears flat against her head as she felt completely helpless to stop those who were trapped alongside her. Frustration paramount in the silver cat's mind; the zoanthrope would be more than happy to have had her pistol on her that shot actual bullets to give these grunts exactly what they deserved. There wasn't much time for the cat to rest, as she was brutally grabbed from her cage and dragged through the preparation process and towards the auction site.
Such little clothing completely embarrassed the furred female, almost completely mortified as she looked at the others, twitching her ear to see if she still had the audio capsule hidden within the fur. If the communication device was there they had somewhat of a chance if she could bring the police smashing down onto this joint. The diner was incredibly fancy, lights on while a bunch of men sat at the tables, laughing and eating while drinking wine.
The sight of this place was disgusting, drunken men and the laughter as they were brought out into the windy, open air of the skyscraper roof was enough to make Ramina want to throw herself off the roof. The silver kitten could not fly, and as such would fall to a rather traumatic death if it wasn't for the goons practically everywhere around the roof and the fences on the edges were forboding. There was no escape; and she could only wait for whatever torture there was to come with ears down as she sat, staring at the ground with saddened orange eyes.

The men were indeed drinking their fill of wine, but more disgusting was the fact that there were more women in the room besides those to be sold. Many wore slender golden collar's around their neck and nothing else; and all of them had a certain look about the eyes, of despair and defeat. Women who had been in Ramina's position and never saved; they were left to become something less than what they were, a servant, a tool. It was heartbreaking to most to even think of such a thing as what horrible lives these poor women must have experienced.
One of the women who were to be sold saw the look of the other women with the golden collars, and saw the broken souls behind their eyes, and she burst into fresh tears, sobbing and hiccuping. She collapsed to the ground, shaking uncontrollably and wouldn't move from the spot, even at the goading of their captors. Eventually they had to haul her up and carry her to the center stage in the room, the leader sighing exasperatedly, ”Tch. She's weak, that'll drop her price for sure. These guys want strong women to break in, not that. Damn, why'd she have to be such a wimp?” before shaking his head and shoving the next girl in line up on stage.
Meanwhile, Ramina would begin to hear a gentle voice in her head, quiet and barely heard, it would ask her a simple question, ”Could you hold back enough not to kill? I need these people alive to ensure this never happens to anyone else...”
The voice was completely unknown to Ramina, sounding nothing like anyone she had ever met, including the man she had been helped by the night before. Yet, apparently, there was someone capable of speaking to her without anyone around knowing, as no one made so much as a move at the sound of the voice, and if Ramina stopped she would only get a rough shove to get her moving towards the center stage again...

The cat's ears perked up in surprise at the sound of the voice, tail curling up in curiosity. Unfortunately a shove from one of the captors moved the Zoan once more; Ramina being shunted along the process while still wearing an incredibly mortifying outfit. As she looked around with ears down, the shimmering silver feline noticed the women in the establishment. Their eyes were empty, soulless. It sent a shiver down the feline zoanthrope's spine, a physical involuntary shudder soon following.
Whatever was going to happen, whoever this voice was, the snow leopard couldn't help but feel doomed. Dismay kept her ears low to her face, sadness in the otherwise pretty, vibrant orange eyes. She couldn't help but wonder as she was shoved onto center stage in front of the men and women, just exactly who the person in her head had been. Who was that strange man she'd seen at the bar only hours previous to this entire mishap? I'll hold back unless he hurries up.
