There was a heavy retro beat thumping through the crowds this night as 7 wandered down the city streets, focusing her optical lenses on the neon lights and drunken antics. This was a new experience yet again and whilst she had no interest in gaining the chemical influences they were under, she had taken samples of the discarded beer bottles here and there to register just what was being sampled. A few needles and a couple of pills were also added in but 7 couldn't seem to find them in her medical directory.
So for now, 7 merely logged the details and cast a personal reminder in her notifs to remind her that these chemicals needed checking against the police database if it was up to code..or if her medical records were even up to code. Not that it would be too much issue accessing those.
Still the beats persisted as the recording parts of her inner ear tracked every beat and lyric, saving it for her own use. Popular music? That was what it had to be but it wasn't the priority right now. The thing to do would be to carry on her observations of the female form. It had been noted that she was a custom built android by the hybrid, but many seemed to assume she was female, so she designated herself as that and set about learning more about organic females. Namely their nature and the way they moved and such.
After all, she had been female once upon a time.
7's head turned slightly, a few whirrs and beeps chiming that she was lost as her gps ticked out, the signal being interrupted by something or other.
"Error. Gps is malfunctioning, please find a connective area or attempt to restart the gyroscope and global positioning system for earth."

“This place is a dump.” Noxa mumbled under her breath, a vicious leer being cast towards a particular group of ‘partygoers’ — that was the term, she’d come to learn.
Although Noxa would likely refer to them as ‘vandals’.
Her gait was one of rhythm. Every step was taken with confidence. Every time her metallic heels formed from her carapace met the ground there was an audible ‘click’. Except, of course, for when she treaded on garbage. The woman looked about, having trouble seeing very far, thanks to the sea of people that crowded the streets.
As far as the Bio Android could understand there had been a festival going on. Some sort of celebration. The uninhibited populous were noisy, rude, and disgusting. As far as Noxa was concerned they were just as much ‘trash’ as the beer, drugs, and other waste that littered the blacktop.
The redheaded virago just wanted to leave this city already. The xanthic irises the crowned her jet-black sclera lowered themselves from the crowd. Noxa found herself gazing down into her right hand. Between her metallic gauntlet’s talons was a little machine. A contraption entrusted onto her by Doctor Katsu. He had called the little device a ‘gee pea ess’. The woman had an inkling that it stood for something — an acronym instead of a full-drawn name…
She looked into the LCD screen embedded into a plastic case. The screen was dead. Noxa had pressed some of the buttons that riddled the device’s side, but it was to no avail. She had no experience with technology, but she at least understood the basics; the lack of life on the screen indicated two possibilities.
The first possibility was that the device was broken. If that was the case, it would mean Noxa would have to find someone witty enough to fix it. That or throw it away completely. If that was the case the woman would have been left to wander the eastern side of this world, guided only by word of mouth until she found Katsu’s mansion. Even if that was the case it shouldn’t be too difficult, Noxa figured. For Katsu hailed himself as a world renowned researcher — or so he said… There was no reason to NOT believe him. Unless Katsu was one to boast — and Noxa truly didn’t believe he was. After all, he had done a lot for her. He’d introduced her to new concepts — to a new way of understanding the world. The man had helped her find a spot within a shadowy cabal — a promise for a career. And, of course, more importantly: Katsu had literally saved her life.
The man had more than earned Noxa’s respect. Naturally, the idea that Katsu had simply boasted of his status in the scientific community was one she promptly dismissed.
The second possibility was that this thing simply ran out of power. Noxa sincerely hoped that was the case. If she was lucky enough then a simple visit to a common electronics store would solve her dilemma. Then the woman would have finally been liberated from this obnoxious hurdle. Then the woman would be free to resume her journey. Then the woman would rendezvous with the scientist — something she desperately needed to do. The two had not parted in the best of terms, despite how wonderful they had gotten along prior to it. Noxa had some relationships to mend — and some techniques to learn, as Katsu had promised.
Noxa had invested into the second possibility — that is why she had come to this city. It was the closest metropolis to her; the only city she could see in the horizon when her guiding gadget had stopped working.
Her torso swelled up as Noxa took a deep breath, attempting to keep her head cool. And now here she was. In the middle of one of the most frustrating experiences she could imagine. She was trying to complete a mission — follow up on an actual career offer, only to be faced with this for an obstacle: a city-wide party.
An impatient sigh escaped the Bio Android’s lips. It was cut short as a hand found itself on her left shoulder. The woman’s hair began to writhe, despite the lack of a breeze. She turned her head left to face whatever was attempting to get her attention.
The 6’3” redheaded woman looked down to see a short, stocky man. He couldn’t have been more than 5’8”. He was so pale his skin seemed to reflect the amber street light’s glare perfectly. The woman wouldn’t mind his ‘glow’ as much, if it wasn’t for the fact it just highlighted his grotesque features. Noxa found her eyes drawn to his clean-shaven head, which only served to highlight a scarred, misshapen forehead.
“Ey, tuts. How much zeni you carryin’?” Noxa’s gaze traveled lower to see a switchblade snap into its full form — an attempt at intimidation. An attempt that would have been much more effective if he wasn’t standing on his tippy-toes in an attempt to be more intimidating.
“GOT HER PHONE!” Squeaked a high pitch voice to Noxa’s right.
The pitch — it was so infinitely more distressing and acutely disruptive than the roaring music! Noxa didn’t have time to look to her right and see what made an attempt to snatch her GPS device. Her body reacted on instinct. A thick tendril rushed from Noxa’s scarlet mane, smashing at the source of the noise. She acted on both a desperate need to end the screaming, as well as a response to having been recently ‘robbed’ in West City. The events there left her body with a ‘quick reflect’ when it came to snatch n’ runs.
Noxa looked to her right just in time to see the body of her would be robber soaring through the air. The redhead felt her entire body clench down, cringing in hopes that the thief wouldn’t hit anyone. One or two close calls made Noxa hopeful that nothing would happen.
“Oh, SHIT! HEY, WATCH OUT!” Noxa found herself shouting. Her voice just barely able to cut through the din of the crowd. Her cry of warning was aimed at a little figure. A girl, possibly. It was hard to tell much from Noxa’s distance. Not much time to gather details. The two features the woman was able to observe were that it it was feminine, and had a long-flowing silvery hair.
The Bio Android’s aura flared. It was an attempt to get the attention of the little figure, which was currently on a crash course with the flying body. The crimson light shone from Noxa, bathing the surroundings in its harsh light. It was much like a flare signaling an SoS. She hoped all this would be enough to warn the presumed human in time!
Otherwise Noxa hoped nothing much would come out of the impact! She’d hate to get the cops on her ass for something stupid. Again.
That was more than enough for Vahn. The switchblade-wielding thug, had no idea he had hitten up a ki user! He knew just how dangerous those lunatics were, thanks to the news! The man simply assumed the scantily-clad woman was one of those stupid cosplayers wandering about, not some superpowered freak! The man, dropping his knife, turned tail and took off in an all-out sprint. He completely disregarded his partner in crime. As far as he was concerned ‘Lil T’ was a goner.
