It had been some time since Xanara had headed back into a city. She never seemed to have a good time in them. Someone always showed up and accused her of something nefarious. But it was best not to dwell on that, she had money to spend and food to eat. She wandered about the city, stopping at a cart every now and again to order a snack. She enjoyed earth food, certainly more tasty than the food of the demon realm, no question. She finished up her ice cream cone, a little shiver running through her body before she giggled.
"Why is everything here so delicious?" She asked herself. "Its all too good."
She'd end up stopping at yet another cart, though this one was for cotton candy. She'd by several cones of it and pay, only to begin munching away. Half way through the first one however she stopped and stuck out her tongue ."Well.. I suppose not everything can be a winner." She said. "I think I prefer saltier things.. This is just too sweet."
Her goal for the day however, was not to purchase as much food as possible, but instead find a location to begin her funding operations. For her plans to come to fruition she needed to find a place to set up shop, even if she had to take it by force.

Oliver was so excited to be back in a large city, sporting a white tank-top and black basketball shorts. For the past few weeks he had been busy dealing with requests on the many islands in the south. They gave plenty of Zeni, but now he wanted to be near the large crowds of people that he missed seeing. The red-head flew above the East Capitol looking for something fun to do when he floated into the food area. There were dozens of food carts that served plenty of good stuff. The young man descended and immediately got his wallet out, ready to blow his last request's pay on delicacies. It was only the morning, so there was plenty of time for him to go broke.
"I would like three slices of pizza with every topping you have on them please," Oliver requested. The chef looked at him oddly while preparing the rather weird meal. The martial artist couldn't help that his appetite was monstrous at times. It was in the family genes to crave so much. That was probably why they all had health problems at an early age as well.
Oliver ate all of his food almost as soon as he got it. The man was like a vacuum at that moment, and he was looking for more stuff to suck up. That was when he went a few carts down and spotted cotton candy, one of his favorite sweets. That was when he spotted a strange-looking women ordering several of them. It appeared as if it were one of her favorites as well. Oliver walked forward until he was right at her side.
"Ah, you are a fan of the sweet stuff as well? You probably shouldn't eat so much though, or you will be sick to your stomach. Oliver by the way," the fighter introduced himself with a smile on his face, holding his right hand out, waiting for the woman to shake it. He was attempting to be friendly with her, one of the key reasons being that she didn't seem to be from this world. His parents always taught him that being friendly to aliens made them feel like they belonged and not that they weren't wanted, which always felt bad.

Xanara blinked as someone approached her and just started talking. That was a rare occurrence in of itself, but the words being spoken to her weren't something long the lines of an insult, or accusation of something. She was just a tad bit confused but shook her head. "Oh uh no. Not really. I don't quite like these... cotton candy things." She held them out to him when he offered his hand. "Here you can have them if you like them so much. They were a mistake."
She frowned after she had given him the sweet treat and looked at her sticky hands with disdain. "Wonderful." She muttered. "If I had known it was going to be sticky I wouldn't of bought it. Disgusting." She shook her hand for a moment then sighed and pulled a cloth from one of her dress' hidden pockets, to which she began to clean her hands. She looked back up to him.
"So what do you want? No one approaches a demon just to say hi." She crossed her arms and shook her head before frowning. "Do you want advice? The secret to strength? What?"

Instead of shaking Oliver's right hand, the women gave him her food, saying that she didn't like them at all and that buying them was just a mistake. That was odd to Oliver, since he has never seen anyone resist the sweet goodness that was cotton candy. It was just too delicious, or at least that is what he thought until now. After she took a cloth out of one of her pockets to clean her hands, she then asked what Oliver wanted, stating that no one just went up to a demon to be friendly. Well, she was wrong in the young man's opinion. Oliver kept a smile on his face as he began to explain.
"Uh, I didn't want your candy, but I will take it anyway, ha. I was offering to shake your hand. It is a way of greeting someone on this planet," Oliver told her, now holding out his left hand to try it again. "Also, I do want something from you, but not something like advice or strength, since I have my own training regimen. I want your name so I know what to call you before we continue speaking to each other, ha," Oliver added. He just wanted to chat with the female, and that was all there was to it. There was no under-handed plot to gain power beyond belief. Just the hope of obtaining a friend.
Oliver pointed towards a wooden table a few meters behind them, suggesting that they take a seat without exactly saying it. After all of that flying that he was doing, he felt exhausted. The fighter just needed to sit for a bit.

She looked back down at his hand after his explanation then frowned. "Demons don't shake hands unless there is a deal to be made. Offering your hand to a demon is a pretty bad idea. Just so you know kid." She'd fall silent once more as he went on to explain what he wanted. She blinked then made an unamused face. She sighed and took a few steps back.
She'd offer a curtsy before speaking. "I am Xanara Redhive. No doubt one of many Demons in this realm." She shut her eyes for a moment, taking a breath, before opening them once more, those smouldering yellow eyes of her staring back at the human. "It seems only customary you give me your name now.."

"I don't think it is, since it is meant for more than business here. Perhaps you should learn to adapt to our customs?" Oliver suggested with a smile on his face, trying to get the demon to loosen up and be more social. At least The lady gave out her name, asking for Oliver's after that.
"And I already gave you my name (first post, last paragraph), but I can tell you again. I left out my last name last time anyway. Oliver Windhelm, at your assistance," the red-head bowed this time to show respect to the foreigner. "Anyway, what brings you to a big city like this, if you mind sharing that information. It doesn't seem like you are that much of a people's person. If I were you, I would avoid the crowds," Oliver added another question to the conversation.
