#921 walked over to another group of tree, beginning to punch them down. He shot down several, as he began to talk. "So. Been a while, hasn't it Rafar?" He said, averting his glance. Everything that happened. But he would rather not dwell on that. He turned to Atreyu and Retsu. "So then, are we all working on this house?" He said, glancing at Rafar. "I'm sure it'll be good for all of us, in one way or another."
Retsu looked to Rafar. "I suppose you could say that. As for the trees. I'm not cutting down the whole forest, merely taking what I need. I am building a home for myself on this planet, and need supplies in order to do so." He turned himself, firing a ki-ball at another set of trees, sending them shooting off their stumps. "Its fun, and easy." He said. "Also, for you weaker folks, a good bit of training."
As Atreyu spoke up he nodded. "Good, then get to work." He said. "Though know I"m not paying any of you. I don't have any money to pay you with anyway. Hence why I am building my home instead of buying one."
He'd turn to the android. "At most you'll be helping me collect this lumber before flying it to the spot I'm going to be building. Its not too far from here thankfully, but Its going to be alot of lumber."
Rafar scratched the back of his head awkwardly when 921 greeted him hesitantly. This conversation definitely wasn't going well, the shadow of the rampaging beast within hung over their every word.
"I've been okay, been training and eating Earth food a lot."
He had never been good at pleasantries, the Sayian education system wasn't exactly concerned about proper manners. Meeting 921's hesitant gaze, he agreed with the unspoken proposal to move on from their last encounter.
It seemed that Retsu was beginning to consider the Earth as his home, planning to build an actual house in this secluded grove, and initially Rafar didn't have a problem with this, turning towards the dark pines to help his fellow sayian with his work, when he heard Retsu's words.
"Also, for you weaker folks, a good bit of training."
A flicker of anger played across Rafar's usually controlled face, his instincts screaming at him to attack and kill the Arocsian who dared insult him. He brutally crushed this upsurge of emotion. By his own estimation, Retsu was many times stronger than him, there was not point in attacking a much stronger enemy, he was not his simple-minded bretheren. Taking a deep breath, he stuck his palm out, firing several ki blasts at the trees, taking his anger out on something that couldn't fight back.
"I guess I'll help, dont have anything better to do."
Atreyu listened to them speak, not really getting involved as he piled up trees, which he had turned into logs. He ignored the fact he was being called weak. He didn't like it, but it wasn't as if he could do anything about it to prove himself, well not against somebody like him. Though, against the other two he may actually have a chance. Atreyu stopped after he piled up a huge stack and looked back around at them, he could see a bit of tension and didn't really know what to do to break the ice.
#921 continued chopping wood, stacking it in several even piles. He finally decided to talk, hoping to break the ice and allow everyone to become more relaxed. "So, what brings you all here?" He said. Of course this may not work, he knew all of the reasons, but it may help start a conversation, and break the ice. This was obviously an uninteresting question of course, but the cyborg was not one for conversation, much preferring to be alone.
Retsu looked between all of them. This couldn't of worked any better for him than it did. Three people working for him for free. Retsu shut his eyes and hummed to himself. It was almost like he was a Lord again, with subjects at his command. It brought a warmness to him and cause a smile to spread across his face.
He stretched himself out for a moment before speaking up. "If you wouldn't mind. When we are finished with this bit of work and we've flown the lumber back to my build site I could offer some of you training, should you want it. I may not be the strongest arcosian... But I know a few things that may help you all in the long run. Perhaps I'll even teach you my Lance Cannon." He chuckled. "Or, if any of you have tails, how to keep it from being a weakness in battle. I know saiyans lost all motor control when its pulled, but we arcosian's have no such weakness. I could teach you to strengthen yourselves."
After that he turned from them and threw a ki ball into a group of trees, sending them flying in all directions. "Or Perhaps you'd like to spar..."
"Well I showed up out of, pure luck, I just happened to be in the area." Rafar said in response to 921's query. The amount of material that had harvested already was sizable, the pile growing to a size where you could comfortably construct a small manor with all of the wood that had been gathered. Retsu hadn't asked them to stop yet, so Rafar continued to heave 5 tree trunks at a time onto the ever-growing pile.
Loosing an large yellow wave of ki at a stand of trees, he would listen to Retsu's offer, considering it carefully. Although the power gap between them was shortening by the day, it wouldn't hurt to train his tail so it was no longer a weak spot while fighting. "I wouldn't mind a good spar Retsu, I've been getting kind of bored of training." Retsu and himself were easily the 2 strongest present, so a fight would be interesting to say the least........
#921 continued stacking wood as he talked. "Oh, training? I suppose it could be useful. Though I am sure I could not stand up to you in a fight, even a spar." He said, his pile being rather tall at this point. He picked it up, beginning to walk over to the field in which Retsu said to bring the wood.
Retsu nodded to them. "Well then. Your reward for helping me with this will be a spar. Both of you against me. That seems fair." He chuckled to himself. "Either way, thirty more trees and we should be alright. Then we can fly the collected goods over to where I am building my home." He smiled to them. "Tell you what, We'll make a game out of it. WHoever gets the most trees in the next five minutes will win a prize. But you can't use ki. Only your hands."
