The Wastelands...a place that's been ingrained in Collan's mind for a long time. This is where his mother would always train him after he decided he wanted to protect people. He came here to get stronger, ever since he fought Jormungandr he was more determined. So what better place to train than where he stared am I right? As for Collan...he'd be hitting rocks. Punches, Kicks, knees, elbows. Every form of physical combat you could think of. He was doing it on rocks and boulders of all sorts. He did say he'd do anything to get stronger than Jormundgandr.
The Demon had been watching the young man for sometime from the a nearby ledge where he sat motionless...his legs folded under him on the hard stone, hands resting on his knees. The cold wind of the frozen north ruffled his crimson hair and grey threadbare gi but he didn’t feel the chill as he had when he first awoke, his powers having grown stronger since his release. The young man so far had failed to notice he was being watched, his focus solely on striking against the rocks and boulders that litter the plain below. Alakaz would change that. A slight grin crept onto his face, splitting his mouth into a sharp toothed smile as he rolled his shoulders and unfolded himself from his sitting position slowly and thoughtfully...before stepping off the ledge and landing lightly on the frozen ground, his barefeet making almost no sound except the soft crunch of some old snow underfoot.
He walked slowly and confidence, despite knowing nothing of the young man he was not about appear anything but in control of himself, stronger, weaker...it didn’t matter...all that mattered was the contest and the thrill of a new challenge...and the young man did look Human at least, Alakaz did so like tasting their fear in the air...it reminded him of his days back in the temple, when the Monks had realised he was to strong to lead anymore and had sought to imprison him.
“Boulders...don’t hit back...boy”
There was a chuckle in his deep voice, a hint of disgust at the strength the young man showed...or lack of that had brought him down in the first place...
As he was training, he heard foots steps. Just ignore it Collan, this is the third time in a row. It can't be anyone special. Is what the Hybrid thought...until he heard that voice of Alakaz's. Collan quickly stopped what he was doing and turned around. Prepared to face this new fighter. He had a fighting passion in his eyes...before he actually saw what Alakaz looked like. All his confidence soon went down the drain. But that didn't keep Collan from acting bold. Keeping a straight look on his face. ". . ."
A grin rippled across the Demons face, and there was nothing warm and welcoming about that smile that greeted the young Collan. Sharp teeth glistened in the light of the sun over head, a stark contrast to his tanned skin and stiff red hair, the top knot holding it up off the back of his head. Crimson eyes blazed as they took hold of the young man's and stared into him, as if trying to read what was going on in the other fighter's mind. He couldn’t of course but that didn’t stop Alazkaz doing it...something he had learned long ago...unsettle your opponent and create worry and doubt in their mind and you will hinder them physically as they will not be fully devoted to the conflict ahead. The Monks and their chanted mantras weren't complete rubbish after all it seemed.
The heavier built Demon moved slowly, walking in a wide circle around the Human, gaze always fixed on him, hands clasped behind his back, seemingly at ease despite what muscled coiled like springs might have said otherwise.
“It seems you have let fear...overcome you...you have already lost boy”
Speech had become much easier now after interacting with the many wanderers in the plains...most steered clear when he approached but a few were willing to talk...or fight if they didn’t run...this one couldn't seem to make his mind up…
Collan was both confused and scared when the demon started to circle him. He was prepared for an attack, but the demon didn't do anything. All he did was say what he was feeling. For Collan it was pretty obvious but he felt like he was keeping his cool pretty well. He started to put a hand behind his back, push the button on a small black device in his pocket.
He liked how that term sounded...the Monks had used it to demean the youths who were summoned to the Temple, and insult regardless of the age of the person it was used against, an indicator they were beneath being treated like an adult. The Demon liked how it sounded, how it rolled off his tongue as he used it now on this shaking human. And it seemed to be having the desired effect, his stance was defensive...a hand behind his back was an odd pose to be assuming but Alakaz had witnessed many different styles over his years and didn’t even pretend to know them all or even understand them. All that really concerned him was overcoming them.
Smirking the Demon moved, shuffling a few feet closer in a rapid succession of steps, before skidding to a halt and skipping slowly backwards to continue his slow walk round the man who held his attention, chuckling quietly with his low rumbling voice...repeating the rush a number of times on his walk round, each time bringing a laugh to his lips, a game he seemed to be enjoying greatly with himself.
“What brought you out here...were you looking...to die today?”
Well it looks like there's no avoiding it, just like the last two times. I have to fight. Collan smirked, preparing the Sinjin with the hand he already had behind his back. "Now why would someone come to die? I just came here to get stronger. I have enemies..." Then, he'd quickly hold his hand out in front of him. Firing the red beam at the demon's chest. "I got you!"
Alakaz still moved around the boy, chuckling to himself as he skirted in quickly in a rush...pulling up short then backwards skipping away from the young man like a boxer testing his opponents reach, light on his toes despite the cold frost on the ground. He skipped and stepped to a halt as the Human spoke again, question why someone would come to such a cold foreboding place simply to die...it was an odd thing to ask...there were plenty of animals that wandered away from family and friends to die...why not Humans as well?
Strangely the attack caught the Demon off guard...he hadn’t expected it from such a weaker opponent and his guard had been down, forcing him to catch the concussive blast clean in the chest. The surprise more than anything skidded him back on his barefeet...sliding through the frost and kicking up a small trail of dirt as he ground his feet into the dirt beneath...the blast driving him back several feet from where he had been standing.
The playful smile had gone from his face...as playful as a face full of sharp teeth and glowing red eyes could be at least...but now he bared them, giving a growl at the human as he pulled his own power to him…
At first, Collan would start getting confident after he landed the Sinjin on this Demon. But after that... "W-what!?" It worked against Jormungandr and Rafar, and they were both stronger than him! But Collan wouldn't give up just yet. He did just as the demon wanted, he threw another Sinjin right at his chest.
(Collan is using Sinjin, again, this turn for 600|KP:1/3)
Alakaz grinned as the boy called on his strength and Ki once more to launch the same attack at the Demon’s unprotected chest. He threw his arms out wide with a mad gleam in his eyes and braced himself for the impact, thick corded muscles tensing as the attack smashed into his chest...feet gouging out tracks in the dirt as it battered him backwards once more, smoke billowing all around him...trailing off with the wind as it rose from his threadbare gi and partially covered chest…
A deep chuckle rose from the hunched over figure as his red eyes slowly locked with those of the young man who had just thrown the attack, focusing on his face, hand clenching and un-clenching into white knuckled fists as the power rose slowly around him, kicking up dust and snow as he moved...one step after another towards the boy again…
“I’m disappointed...I expected more...of all the people i have met…”
His feet continued carrying the red haired Demon towards his attacker...the one that had attacked him first yet still breathed…
“You are the weakest…”
With a burst of power and speed Alakaz closed the distance between them in a bound, lashing out with a savage front kick aimed for the Human’s chest...
"H-how!? How are you this strong!?" He shouted, as the demon just took the attack. "I already lost two fights I can' be this we-!" Suddenly the demon had appeared right in front of Collan. It shocked him, the kick had flew right into his chest in almost an instant. Collan went flying from this devastating blow. "GAH!!"
(Thread Pl, 5113) It was a delight, a pleasure to fly this fast, the thrill was beyond anything he had ever experience, barring battle. Rafar was currently rocketing through the air, towards the source of Collan's distress signal. He was bored he hadn't had a fight in days, and his blood hungered for the exchange of powers.
The sweeping vitas of the North's mountains rapidly changed as he flew at a speed nearing the sound barrier. Rafar knew that there was probably no need to fly this fast, the kid had probably had just met a new enemy that was slightly stronger than him. Then again....... there were plenty of interesting fighters he could have encountered. Rafar's white aura flared as his speed increased, the snow around him crumbled from his wake's sheer sonic force. Rafar will arrive at the battle in 1 turn, anyone with ki sense or a scouter can feel him coming (Short post sorry)
[Thread PL = 22,094] Lord Retsu has little to do with a fight in the middle of no where. Nor would he of cared for it. Low power levels all coming together to beat one another up? Just another day for Retsu. What intrigued him however, was the increased power level of the Saiyan Rafar. He had been so weak the last time he saw him, and yet now he was considerably stronger. Not enough to cause Retsu to flinch, but enough to warrant attention from the lord.
His scouter pinged as he followed Rafar, albeit from some bit aways. He wanted to see the extent of the Saiyan's Power, and perhaps get to watch a fight and be entertained. After all, it wasn't often you could just watch a fight with no danger in case you had to get involved.
Retsu is following Rafar into Battle. He will arrive shortly after Rafar.
Alakaz watched the look on the man face change into one of shock as the sole of his bare foot connected square with his chest and sent him tumbling backwards through the air with a somewhat pained shout. He’d hit him hard, but most of the impact had been generated from the speed with which he had closed the distance...it wasn’t a true indication...but then he wasn’t in any kind of killing mood...killing those weaker without any form of challenge wasn’t as much fun as when they put up a fight. Right now he was feeling...playful…
He followed the young man at a close distance, watching how he would deal with the single attack and resultant flight, not even bothering to fly but bounding after him over the cold hard ground, skipping past boulders and whipping up snow as he passed, the exertion staving off the worst of the cold, his blood pumping as he thundered after the Human…
He’d expected more of challenge based on what he had seen of the Humans in the past but this young man seemed to have none of their power, none of their skill..courage perhaps but that wouldn’t win any fights...
Collan stopped himself mid air, watching then demon run towards him. But then Collan felt something...it was Rafar! He was coming! I just need to hold my own until he gets here! Collan flew upwards, firing a Ki blast. He obviously knew it wouldn't do much damage. But right now, damage wasn't his main focus.
