As Noxa came with in Namorel's vicinity his regeneration was nearing completion and he was able to catch a full breath and straightened out his posture. He popped his neck to both sides as he listened to Noxa speak. It has been a fulfilling spar and Namorel had come to learn a lot from it and where he stood against some of the other warriors on the planet, conventional or otherwise.
"Yeah, I've realized I could do with a bit of a power up and some heavy formal training however." He said, pulling his arms to the sides to stretch them, these things get stiff when he has to regenerate stressed out joints and muscles.
"Fighting does bring up a tad bit of a thirst, perhaps it is time for you to introduce me to the first thing humans made that I can come to appreciate?" Namorel said this sarcastically, mostly attacking the fact that cars were still the bane of his auditory existence.

Noxa's hands gripped at her own hips. "Well," She spoke up to the green man, "Is the symphony of the forest bothering you?" she wondered, "Birds, bugs, leaves — all that. I gotta figure you should work your way up the noise scale a bit until you can handle cities... IF not I'm sure we can fly to a little town instead. They are basically cities, but on a MUCH smaller level!"
Noxa was glad for the chance she had to spare him; today has taught her a good deal about herself, as well as the Namekian and hints of how his people are. It was a good say, though Noxa felt it could get much better. Her wings fully retracted into her body as her ki slowly enveloped her. Again she began to raise. "Hey, remember that flavored water I told you about?" She asked him, "Why don't I get you some now?"

A smaller human settlement seemed like a nice change to the concrete jungle they had come from, and the promise in a quieter enviorment only added to the effect of allurance. "Sounds good to me, lead the way." Namorel replied, ready to follow her lead, the promise of the water made him ready to indulge himself in these flavors. Hopefully it didn't completely destroy the taste of normal water for him forever.
He would follow her as she flew on, keeping close as to not lose track of her, she was an intersting being and the more time he spent interacting with her the more interested he was in the matter of such.

The flight path she took brought them north — just enough to get about half way back to Satan city. Somewhere between grasslands and hills was a small community; an out of the way town whose lifestyle was slow and droll compared to the bustling metropolis further north.
Noxa touched down at the nearest convenience store. A truck or two parked not far from there, one of them loaded with hay. Noxa's heels clicked and clacked until the ringing of the door was heard. She held it open to the Namekian, "You first, big guy."
The convenience store was just what one would imagine. Shelves stocked with junk food and a few necessities, while the back was loaded with refrigerated drinks. Inside was cool and well refrigerated; that much was easy enough to feel as a waft of cool air washed over the two the moment the door'd been opened.

The flight was short, back the direction they had come, but they wouldn't be travelling back into Satan City, instead Noxa led Namorel ito a small, out of the way town. It was miniscule in comparrison to the city they had been in previously and yet still dwarfed most namekian villages by comparrison. There were more of the noise inducing vehicles resting not too far from the building Noxa was walking towards, Namorel glared at them as he followed her, hoping for his sake that the machines would stay at rest and not start up. Aside from the potential of that the town had a calming quiet to it, there were obvious indications of livelyhood around, but for the most part it was more relaxed and less hustle n' bustle as found in the cities.
The building seemed to be some sort of shop, taking the first step inside Namorel felt the cool breeze wash over him and his skin tightened lightly from the sudden change and then retracted back to normal, bot much of a change, but an obvious one for someone with keen eyes. There were shelves lined with good all over the place and what appeared to be large containers with glass in the front to display the products with in. Namorel took a moment to walk between some of the shelves and look at the various goods. He came to the containers with the drinks and pressed his hand against the glass, the chill from with in conducting unto his hand. "interesting, a method to keep these bottles cold." Namorel thought to himself as he retracted his hand and looked over the labels on the bottles.

Noxa had gathered herself a handbasket in which to hold her purchases, before walking up to the refrigerated area. Her hand shoved all the way to the back of the fridge before she pulled every single can and bottle into the basket. Half a dozen or so fell, only to be caught by her tendril-like hair.
"Let's fucking go! If you want to bring any more stuff get it!" Said the eccentric woman, whose hair would occasionally snatch up snacks while she traversed through the isles back to the cashier. There, behind the place, was a boy. He was about 5'4". Slightly chubby, with curly brown hair. His eyes widened as he saw Noxa and the massive green man approach; he wasn't sure what the heck was going on.
"C-cash or credit?" asked, looking in dismay at all of the things he'd have to scan. Noxa began handing him items from the very top of the tower of drinks, not wanting to collapse it all and create a mess.

Namorel watched Noxa, as she collected what she wanted, unsure as to the contents of the bottles in the refridgeration and the labels confused him to some extent without proper reading. He grabbed a bottle of what looked like water, a small red fruit rested on the cover stamp, but Namorel grabbed in a somewhat hurridly manner. He then followed Noxe to the desk where the brown haired human stood. "This is either terrifying for him, or an uncommon occurance." Namorel thought as he glanced over the lad,
The human then proceeded to remove the items Noxa had grabbed, from her basket and seemed to be scanning them on some sort of mechanism. THe process seemed more of a trivial matter than it need be, but this must be how the monetary system here on Earth works, or at least this was the conclusion Namorel came up with, not bothering to find any hidden meaning or purpose to it otherwise.

"Credit." Noxa replied simply, one of her many tendrils of hair unraveling from her head with the card. The man had many questions, but he simply rolled with it. With a swipe of the card and a simply signature that — is Namorel took the time to watch her — was 'No'.
All of their goods were dumped into a bag and that was that.
"H-have a good day!" Called the boy, thankful he wasn't killed by the strange duo. This world was crazy; no one could know what kind of psycho would walk into a continence store!
Noxa turned to Namorel. She would fly to the top of the cleanest-looking roof and settle there. She sat down, dumping the goods on the floor. "Okay, Namorel!" Spoke the woman with a bit of excitement in her tone. "Taste test!"
She rose up six bottles. "In order from left to right." She pointed at them, "Strawberry, cherry, lemon, orange, kiwi, and..." Noxa paused, unsure what the hell the last one was, "Uhh... Blue. You don't have to drink them completely if you don't want to. Just tell me what you think! I'm curious about what you think about Earthly goods." She then pointed to a few cans in the bag. "I also have energy drinks and sodas. Those are far more popular than flavored water."

Namorel followed Noxa out of the story, looking back to the clerk to see if he was going to be okay. He had just witnessed a sight that I'm sure would be enough to put any uneducated individual in some sort of insane asylum... or a hospital at the least. the outside had a warm tinge to it compared to the store, namorel favored this head over the refridgeration in doors any day. he wondered how the various drinks Noxa grabbed would taste, he had only so far tasted three variants of water... and one of them was absolutely horendus... just... terrrible.
He followed Noxa to the rooftop, hoping no more humans were watching below. The drinks scattered quite a bit upon being poured unto the surface they now rested upon. Noxa held some up, exclaiming the flavors... as if Namorel had any idea what they meant. The introduction of the energy drinks and sodas added an interesting combo to the the mix. "Okay, let's give this a shot." Namorel said, grabbing a few of the drinks... more specifically the Strawberry, Cherry, and Orange ones. After a few sips of drinking them and nodding a few times after each drink. "Adds an interesting twist to the taste of water." He said, then finishing off all three of them.

Noxa nodded, "It does, it does, doesn't it?" She sounded a bit too excited. she pop open a soda for herself and began drinking the fizzy juice. She wondered what the namekian would say about soda when he got to it. Would he hate it? Love it? Any guess would be as good as Noxa's.
Her fingers then moved over, taking a bag of chips. She'd pull it open and pop some of the 'Salt & Vinegar' things into her mouth, chewing it thoroughly before washing all that junk down with fizzy junk.

Namorel nodded as he drank the fluids, finishing off another one as he did so. He then grabbed for one of the other drinks Noxa had mentioned, he had no idea which was which and grabbed one of them, hoping for the best. Little did he know that he grabbed the energy drink rather than the soda. The soon to come unknown reaction of this fluid to his biology would soon follow. As he drank it he watched Noxa eat the chips, curious as to what the item was, apparently it was consumable, but he was unsure as to whether he should eat one or not, just watching on with curiosity.

Noxa watched for his reaction to the delightful — and at times odd — Earth pallet. She'd continue to eat some of her salty chips, sipping her soda. It wasn't until she looked up from her can that she noticed him.
"Oh, try some." Noxa encouraged, extending the salt & vinegar chips over. "They are very salty, but thankfully very dry." The part-Namekian girl nudged over, the two hair-disguised antennae that sprouted from the top of her head bent towards the fizzy pop. "Try it with that. You'll either really like the flavor excess, or dislike it. Me? I love to indulge!"
Should nothing more happen Noxa would continue to hang out until night fell, at which point she would give her new — dare she say it — green friend a warm goodbye. She wished him good luck, and promised to try and find him a new master until he was able to stand the cacophony of human civilization.

The energy drink excited his skin, causing a tingling sensation over the entire course of the namekian's body. The sensation was unlike any feeling he had felt before, almost making him itch all over, but the namekian's metabolism obliterated this feeling almost as quickly as it came, making the feeling both worth giving another shot and yet also making it entirely undesireable to him ever again. He would crush the bottle and place it with the other ones he had finished previously.
Noxa must have noticed his watching of her eating the chips, because she offered him a few, along with one of the drinks she was dowing it with, promising him either an immediately love for the flavor or an extreme distaste. He found this polar probability interesting, but decided now would be a good time if any to indulge himself on human foods. He grabbed the chips and drink and first ate one of the chips, the taste being rather bland, yet full. He felt it begin to dry out his tongue and followed it with the soda, it washing away the salt that was constricting him mostly water composition. He found the combination alluring, yet not something he could do on a regular basis. "It has an interesting flaver, pretty good." He would relay to Noxa, nodding.
He would spend the rest of the day up on the roof top with Noxa, discussing expansion on him learning to tune out sounds. Until night fell it would be the two of them, good conversation and the snacks. When it was time to go, he would share in the goodbyes with his new friend, before stting off to the northern mountain range to rest and meditate within his cavern.
