Beneath the earth's topsoil there lay a great amount more than most humans ever expected there to be or even thought could exist. The layer of earth and rock that separated the top of the continents from the mantle below was anywhere from thirty to sixty miles thick. Plenty of space to cram a lot of long lost and forgotten lore, the remnants of ancient civilizations, and even xenobiotic organisms not found anywhere else on earth. Case in Point? Katsu had heard reports of a small chasm opening up in the Gizard Wastelands near a settlement. An impossibly deep chasm, when someone dropped a data probe into the chasm it never reported back and no one heard it hit a bottom. Initial reports also stated that lava intermittently floated up out of the chasm in spherical shapes before dropping back down. Gravity defying lava in a recently opened chasm that went so deep that you couldn't hear something hit the bottom; that sounded like adventure to Katsu! He gladly volunteered to be the first expedition into the chasm, taking only his ten Recon Probes with him. One Probe remained at the top of the chasm while Katsu carried the rest with him down into the chasm, falling a great distance into the deep dark of the world below. By the time he sensed the nearing of the bottom the chasm entrance far above was a dime sized patch of blue sky on a field of dark stone. The ground was smooth and flat, as if formed by sentient hands, and a great deal of silent passages. The floating lava orbs were nowhere to be found, but something felt...unstable somehow. As if the rules of reality weren't quite so tightly bound in this place. Naturally Katsu was grinning from ear to ear, and after leaving a second Recon Probe at the bottom of the chasm chose one of the many passages available and headed off. Days pass, no word from Katsu to the BBA, to anyone. He's still down there amongst who knows what, studying things probably best left alone... perhaps someone else would find interest in the chasm however. After all, there was a sense of great power hidden deep within the chasm.... [OOC: Katsu has with him his ten Recon Probes (5k Guard)]

Thead PL 7k; Heavy Weight on 1750
Noxa had wandered aimlessly for a long time. Her self-imposed exile of her last city sent her into the desert of rock and mesas. The Bio-Android's biology allowed her to traverse this treacherous place for a long time in search of civilization; she was built for a land not unlike this one, after all. With the odd animal or plant absorption here and there she could thrive here indefinitely... But, of course, she didn't want to simply be a 'survivor'. Noxa, naturally, wanted to climb the summit — be the apex.
She'd wandered long enough that her own body was all she had to keep her company. After much exploration Noxa had come to find something interesting about herself. She could further inhibit her abilities. She wasn't sure how it worked, but with a deep will her abilities could've been suppressed. She wished she'd know this before... She could no longer count in one hand the amount of times her instincts or supernatural strength blew her cover. Shape-shifting was a gift, but a mask wasn't the only thing you needed to bland in, unfortunately.
After all, it's not everyday a sickly mother will punch through a man's chest because he sneezed. Just the recollection of the memory put the redheaded Bio in a bad mood. It was hard to explain to a local village that 'the man had startled her'.
Still, her actions had consequences; Noxa was led here. Exiled and looking for purpose. Searching for some sort of enlightenment.
Her wanderlust in search of meaningful activity would come to and end. Despite being ki deaf Noxa was able to feel her skin crawl — maybe it was the ankoku biology within her, but she was drawn to it like a moth to a flame. The woman eventually came to the mouth of a gaping chasm; it looked as though something had torn the ground asunder, leaving a terrible mark of a power likely beyond measure.
She ignored the bot-like probe for the most part. It meant one of two things: there was a research team bellow — which meant either friends or food — or there was something beneath that humans didn't want to get close to. Something powerful, yet worth studying from afar. Something useful, and likely ecstatically delicious! Noxa leaped into the chasm, her insect-like wings unfurling from the sheathed hiding spot, allowing her to gracefully glide downwards into the cavernous depths.
The glowing life of molten rock gave Noxa a delightful wash of glee. She wasn't sure why, but she loved the aesthetics of the place — from smooth stone to ... Well, everything about it was great! If Noxa ever wished to make a permanent nest...
With a foot in front of the other she made her way through; the important thing, of course, was finding out what secrets this place held. The click-clack of her metalic heels echoed as she made her way.

The world that Noxa would enter would be far different from the one that she had left behind when she had leapt down the chasm's opening. Above was open and free, the only limits the horizon. Down there it was closed and narrow, the dozens of paths that wandered away from the central area were narrow and low. Whoever had made this place, for it did have a sense of being formed by sentient hands, was much smaller than Noxa was. The darkness was stifling to most humanoids but probably felt quite nice to the Bio-Android who had Ankoku DNA in her veins, but it still didn't help with her ability to cut through the darkness in the deep to find her way better. The little floating orbs of magma weren't visible from the entrance, but as soon as Noxa would round her first corner in any of the paths they would be there, floating lazily through the air, slowly bouncing into and off the walls, ceiling, and floor. They were still molten lava of course, and the heat they gave off could be sensed a dozen meters away, the places that they gently touched the surroundings tended to hiss off a hiss of steam and the smell of burning stone. They gave no hint on which direction Noxa should take to head towards... whatever valuable things might be down here. Luckily Noxa would easily find more probes such as the one that she had found at the top of the chasm. One was position at the bottom of the chasm, and one was just within sight of the second down one of the many paths, leading off into the shadowy hallway. If Noxa were to follow the path that this probe had been left to mark she would travel down a hall that was particularly filled with the magma globes, so much so that the path was treacherous with them. It would be a delicate dance of dodging from one position to the next to make it through this particular hallway unscathed by the burning orbs, but Noxa would have the agility and speed to pull it off relatively easily if she so desired. If Noxa had decided to take things that far she would begin to hear a gentle echo of music in the far distance once she had reached about a hundred meters down the path. It was a very old style of music known as Classical amongst humans; Noxa might recognize it as one of Bach's more famous Fugues; the Toccata and Fugue in D minor. This melancholy music would seemingly fit the ambience of this underground world, the sombre notes of the song lending a sense of mystique and power to the tunnels. What must it have taken to shape these tunnels so deep in the earth? What master craftsman had the skill and power to force even the law of gravity to subside in this area to let those magma globes float about as if weightless? The sense of power hidden within this tunnel system would only intensify in the presence of that music, drawing anyone who sought such power deeper along the path, luring them further into the darkness... = - = - = - = - = - = - = Katsu had been down in this cave system for days on end. His eyes had long adjusted to the darkness of this tunnel system, the fiery globes of magma had been a useful light source at first but now seemed a deterrant, ruining Katsu's nightvision whenever he came upon one of the many orbs again. The subterranean room he had managed to find deep in the chasm was absolutely massive, a very gentle orange glow had suffused the entire room, and Katsu had found it was from small cracks in the wall, magma flowing in every direction yet still contained within by capillary action, visible only to a close examination at all. This was the farthest room that Katsu could consider safe. The floor was flat, the walls and roof coming to a dome shape, and only two paths present. One lead back towards the chasm entrance, another led to what Katsu had discovered to be the source of the strange power fluctuations in this area. Katsu had thus set up his camp in this place, using the wonders of Capsule technology to release an entire domicile into this great chamber, allowing him access to the food, clean water, and soft bed that allowed him to maintain his peak form. In particular the food was important lately. Ever since Katsu had taken his alteration Serum to adjust the effects of the original he had found his hunger capable of matching any Saiyans and surpassing it! Entire feasts became his meal nightly. Yet Katsu knew it would be worth the trouble. He could feel the energy in his body ever condensing within him, slowly strengthening his body in ways he couldn't accurately explain. He could feel all of his energy and power within him as well, but the process completely locked it away from his grasp temporarily, making him seem much weaker than he really was. That was fine though, Katsu had no problems being weak if it furthered his goals. Still, Katsu's current goal was frustrating to him. Katsu had found the source of power here in this tunnel system, but his lack of knowledge completely thwarted him. The power was of a mystical source; not easily understood by conventional science, at least not yet, and Katsu had been unable to make any progress for nearly three days now. Yet Katsu was indeed a patient person, and rather than endlessly beat his head against the wall he decided to practice his musical ability. He found himself using his electric keyboard to replicate the sound of a Cathedral Organ; playing the melancholic music that was popular thousands of years ago.... it seemed to fit this place so well, and Katsu found that his playing here was the best it had ever been, easily playing the notes as well as their original writer could have, the music seeming to just swell up and burst forth from Katsu's fingers as they played across the keys. It was truly fascinating, but it hadn't yet given Katsu some breakthrough on his goal, and so he continued to play for his own amusement to relax from the stress of the problems he faced, waiting for something to happen so that progress could be made!

Noxa traversed through the mythical halls of rock, lava, and darkness.
It wasn't until the melody made itself known that Noxa stopped. The Bio-Android found her eyes narrowing forward; her ears twitching at the new stimuli. She was sure this meant there were others here — that or whatever power bled from these ruins had an affinity for music.
"An avant garde powerhouse." Noxa mumbled to herself, finding that idea to be interesting at the very least.
The quick beat of heels finding their way into the ground came to hasten; the bio-android felt herself drawn to the music — quickening her pace into a sprint. This song —it was a style that for whatever reason had been grafted into her psyche during her gestation, though it certainly isn't a type of melody she had ever heard for herself. The reality of her situation coupled with the ambiance gave the woman chills. With curiosity — a thing she seldom experienced — driving Noxa forward the woman eventually came within an odd sight: a home.
"What's a house doing here, in the underground of a wasteland?" There wasn't any rhyme or reason as far as Noxa could figure. She neared it, taking note of the elegant chamber. The shape and features were nothing short of breath-taking; this was further proof this place was artificial. The music grew in intensity with each step the bio-android took towards the home, though Noxa could not simply WALK into the front door! What is this was a trap — or worst still, a magical illusion?!
No, she couldn't take that change; her instincts wouldn't let her be lazy and careless when there were easier, effortless solutions.
Her insectoid wings came to lift her off the ground; Noxa slowly made her way forward. Eventually finding herself in the building Noxa slowly touched down, careful and aware of any possible 'happenings'. She then began looking for an unconventional way to gain entrance. If she'd found a chimney she would crawl downward and peek into the home. If one wasn't available the lady would attempt the same, but through a window.

Unfortunately for the poor Ki blind Noxa, Katsu was not such a being. He could sense her energy quite clearly; not only that but he had been aware of her since she had begun her flight down the hole of the chasm. Those Recon probes weren't just for show after all. They had surreptitiously scanned her form the moment she had come into range, and Katsu gazed at a 3d hologram of Noxa's form as he continued to play his doleful music. She had a rather interesting form; obviously there was her overt sexuality but Katsu was more interested in her exoskeleton and her antennae. She obviously had a human base for her shape and size, but her traits were drawn from Heran, Ankoku, and Namekian. To Katsu's eyes she looked like some kind of bio-weapon, or perhaps an experiment on making a lethal hunter...
Continuing to play with one hand, his telekinesis controlling the piano more than his limbs, Katsu used his other hand to tap his chin, thinking deeply on this person who was coming closer and closer to him. With a wave of his hand Katsu unlatched the lock on the nearest window to him, one that was behind him. If this woman was as sneaky as she appeared she probably wouldn't knock on the door; it was an easy way to test her personality, to ascertain what type of person she was underneath that exoskeleton.
Katsu wasn't sure if she would actually try to get in through the window he left unlatched, so he also unlocked the door, shifted his position with his keyboard to face away from the window and the door leading to the front hall, and placed one of his Recon Probes on standby just inside the doorway of his music room, ready to open the door if Noxa knocked. With all of these things in place Katsu would be able to accurately ascertain Noxa's personality by her actions, whether she used the door, window, or just tried to blow his house to smithereens.
It however seemed that Noxa was going to use his window judging by her Ki signature's position. His house had no chimney. Capsule Homes tended to be completely airtight vessels for various reasons, one of them being so they could be deployed anywhere and not risk internal contamination by the outer atmosphere if need be. Some were even installed with airlocks as their front doors and the windows were military grade shutters that could hold up to the vacuum of space. Anyway, Noxa would use the window to peep into his home, and she would find that Katsu's music room was a comfortable little room littered with various electronic instruments. His keyboard, some guitars and other stringed instruments, a full drum set occupied one corner, and a number of other things connected to music filled the room. No pictures hung on the cream colored walls, and the deep shag carpeting was a deep blue color. A ceiling fan slowly spun on the ceiling that matched the walls in color. Two doors led into the room, one towards the front hall, another towards what appeared to be a kitchen.
As Noxa would peek into his room Katsu would smile to himself as he switched the electronic keyboard from Organ to Piano mode, and began playing “Fur Elise” by Beethoven.
Without turning, without stopping his music, Katsu addressed the woman at his window in a calm voice, “It would have been easier if you had just used the door... Come in come in. Obviously you're not interested in blowing the house down just yet so come in, my dinner is just about done, and I'm sure some of it would be palatable even to a Bio-Android like yourself...”

Noxa took in all the details and bits of his home. She was familiar with a lot of the instruments, but not all. Her eyes fixed on the man. He didn't look all that special — no weapons or armor to indicate elite status. To Noxa, whom often found herself pitted against law enforcement or mercenaries, he didn't LOOK very strong. If Noxa were to guess he'd pin him as a geologist with a keen ear for music; this, of course, came with the assumption the bots left behind were all his. The woman remained clinging to the side of the house for a little longer, though she figured there was no harm in coming in. She didn't think he could pose a threat to her at all.
She released her grip slowly, making sure she'd touch down with her heels to the floor. In a smooth motion Noxa'd leaped through the window. Of all the questions she could pose the first one was not about him or the grandness of the cavern.
"Why did you open your window?" Noxa's voice was even and steady, her bright yellow irises examining the man for any detail she could get; mannerisms, appearance, any sign of threat.

“Because I wanted to see what you would do.” Katsu slowly played the last few notes of the first portion of Fur Elise, his fingers tapping a few keys in a pointless embellishment as he turned in his seat to look at Noxa. Katsu was definitely a scientist. Even as he sit in his own home he continued to war his labcoat over a white Tee with dark slacks and simple black shoes. Katsu stood from his bench and took a calm three steps towards Noxa before stopping, reaching a distance that they need not speak louder to hear each other clearly but not within her “personal space”.
“It isn't often that one gets to cross paths with a Bio-Android like yourself, Ms. Naturally I'd like to see what kind of person you are. Speaking of such things, I am known as Doctor Katsu Yuda. I'm a Bio-Engineer in the employ of the BBA... care to join me for dinner? I have plenty to spare.” Katsu motioned to the doorway that led to the kitchen before he began to move that way himself in a casual string of movement. It seemed Katsu had little to no fear of Noxa despite her rather fierce looking exoskeleton.
Moving into the kitchen Katsu waved his hand over a myriad of pans and pots that were cooking on the stove. The smells coming from them was almost heavenly, even Noxa might be tempted. As Katsu began to finish the preparations of his meal Noxa would easily spot that he didn't touch anything personally. Everything moved apparently from mental effort alone. Katsu would wave a hand over something and it would lift off the surface it was on and float through the air. Noxa could watch as Katsu blended the various contents of the pots and pans into one great big pot that was big enough to hold an adult human inside of it. The smell coming from that pot was of a thick, meaty beef stew. Lots of meat, lots of veggies, tons of calories.
“Don't worry, even if you normally cannot eat human food this should be palatable. All the ingredients are modified by myself to provide easy to digest calories and nutrients in bulk. A normal human could survive on a bowl of this stew for ten days without losing energy. It seems its only food like this that can sustain me lately...
“Anyway. Pull up a chair, I want to discuss some things with you, including a potential short term partnership in order to retrieve the thing we're both here for; that power source hidden in these tunnels..”

The air of suspicion was clear enough for a monkey to read; someone with the vast intelligence as the Bio-Engineer could easily tell from Noxa's body language that she was heavily suspicious of all this, though the air of animosity coming from her didn't stop the bio-android from accepting the gesture extended to her. The expected predator would've asked how he knew of her coming, but that seemed obvious enough to her with a bit of though. The same could be said about his correct assumption of her being a bio-android. If this man of science was in the field he claimed it would be a given he wouldn't simply call her a 'monster' or 'cosplayer'.
Noxa, instigated equally by the need to know more as she was by the allure of the food's fragrance found herself accepting his invitation. Noxa hadn't eaten anything more than scraps for a long time — this was a welcome change to her body's energy stocks.
A chair was pulled and Noxa sat down — directly across the stranger, if possible. Finally she spoke again.
"If you're offering it means you haven't been able to reach it alone." The part she didn't utter was the realization that if he'd been studying this cavernous sprawl it meant he knew a lot more about the area than her. "What do you know about this 'thing'?"

Instead of responding to Noxa's questions Katsu merely continued with the activity of preparing dinner. A cupboard opened and a pair of bowls, both roughly four times the size of an average cereal bowl, flew out to place themselves in front of Katsu and Noxa. Katsu concentrated, his brows furrowing a moment, and the thick stew slowly rose from the great pot to fill up both bowls nearly to the brim. Steam wafted up from the bowls, and the scent that it had been giving off got even stronger to Noxa's nose, tempting her to dig in immediately. A large spoon would be nearby in case she desired to use it. Should Noxa begin eating it she'd find that it's taste was intense! Thick savory meat flavor of the beef mixed with the vegetables that somehow had more taste than one thought a plant could. Honestly, if the stew had not been so expertly blended together the individual tastes of the ingredients would have been overpowering and disgusting, but together they tasted much better. Noxa would be able to feel the calories and nutrients in the stew as soon as it hit her stomach, revitalizing her body as fast as she could absorb the food.
Katsu used his own spoon to begin stirring his own bowl of stew, in order to cool it down a bit first. He watched Noxa for a few moments, looking mostly at her face but glancing from time to time at the rest of her body in a reserved yet interested fashion. He wasn't a pig, but it was clear he found Noxa attractive. Finally Katsu spoke, “You're correct on both points. I have not yet managed to prise the prize yet, and it is indeed an object.
“My information so far tells me that the object is of mystical origin, set here a few thousand years ago in order to preserve it against the greed and malice of humanity at the time. It requires telepathy in order to even access the object, and I have already tried to test you for such abilities and found that you don't have them. So, now you know that you need me in order to get any use from our goal, so here is where I need you for the goal. There are guardians. They're not very strong anymore, the long long time sealed away down here has drained their power, but they're numerous. They're too many for me to handle on my own, but a combat-type Bio-Android like yourself should be more than capable of dealing with them..” Katsu finished his speech by beginning to eat his stew rapidly. Not making a mess, but still much more rapid than most humans allowed themselves to eat. It seems he was nearly as hungry as Noxa was herself. When his bowl was cleared, which took very little time, he summoned more stew to fill up both of their bowls again, topping off Noxa's bowl no matter how much she had eaten of the stew.
Looking up from his food, Katsu glanced again at Noxa's body, “You're lithe form will excel in speed which will be key for this. They're stone golems, semi-sentient masses of stone. They're much like a android in function. I have explosives for you to place on their necks, their weak points. Once we've dealt with the guardians we can work towards extracting the object from its seal and leave with our prize. Does that sound agreeable?”

Despite the mouth watering smell that seemed to have completely enveloped the room Noxa didn't eat the soup. Well, not at first anyway. The painful attack on her starved body from all of the delicious aroma was something she wouldn't be able to resist, she was sure. She rose her left hand, her carapace peeling back form a finger, dipping it into the soup. It would begin to absorb some of the nutrients, attempting to detect for poison. Once, however, she hadn't detected anything, she decided to eat normally. Given the iron grip she had on the spoon, the way she leaned into the table over her bowl, and the wide stance her legs took on the chair... Well... It was clear she definitely had no 'training' in the way of fine dinner table mannerisms.
Then again, as the wise Doctor himself asserted, she was a combat-type Bio-Android.
The woman listened further, only speaking up when he finished with his long assessment — and it wasn't a thank you for the refill. It's not that she was rude — everything was just a tad bit off for her. This could still be a trap.
Still, Noxa put on a smile. "It sounds absolutely delightful." She fully expected to be stabbed in the back. She needed a contingency plan. She did not eat as quickly as him; she tried to stay alert while eating. She could've simply absorbed the food, but the man's skill in the kitchen was as fine as his musical ability. She wished to taste the nutrients.

It was fairly obvious that Noxa didn't trust Katsu at all at this point. She had little reason to, and Katsu had little reason to really put trust in her, but Katsu was different from other people, and after taking a large spoonful of his soup he placed it down and put both hands on the table, moving his bowl aside, and threaded his fingers together as he looked at Noxa.
Katsu let the tone of his voice change, the sense of emotion and tone bleeding away into nothingness, leaving a very flat spoken set of words, “Given the situation it's expected for you not to trust me. Given this situation I would normally have little reason to trust you as well. For the sake of completing our goals I will tell you a key point about me, and let you think it out in your head all the ramifications of that bit of information...
“I am a Psychopath. I am currently incapable of vicariously experiencing the emotional distress of others, although I am capable of logically inferring what it might feel like if such a thing happened to me. I am not like other humans, I am not like most sentient creatures. My main focus in life is not based on survival and procreation, but learning. I want to learn; everything I can in fact. Knowledge is Sacred to me, and I want to preserve and advance the knowledge of both humanity and of the galaxy at large. You could say it is what I was designed for, although no sentient mind is responsible for my design.” Staring straight at Noxa's eyes as he spoke all of this Katsu eventually finished his little speech and went back to eating his stew, letting Noxa work it out in her mind what kind of person Katsu would be given his admission.
One who was designed to seek out knowledge; even more so than survival and procreation. Katsu wanted to learn more than he wanted to live! Was that even possible? What did that really mean? Did it mean that because Noxa could help him obtain knowledge he wouldn't move against her? Did it mean that he wouldn't harm her because she was a Bio-Android, a culmination of science and knowledge put together by an entire team of experts? Perhaps that would mean that Noxa, by her very existence, had value to this man... but it was down to a simple question for now...did she trust someone who wanted to learn more than they wanted to live?

By what the man said Noxa wasn't sure if she trusted him anymore, though it did make his actions more predictable, in a way. Not that she saw him as a pawn or anything, but if what he had said was true — and Noxa felt it was — at least he wouldn't try to stab her in the back for whatever relic they would find. This entire time Noxa had not once put down her spoon; she ate dutifully away at the bowl in front of her.
Once she'd made up her mind, however, Noxa was sure to speak it. "You're a weird guy." She'd eat a bit more. "Alright, fine." Noxa leaned away from her soup — having finished the last bit of the meal she'd been attacking while the man talked. Noxa was done with this serving. "I have to say: it sounds like a good deal to me; I'm in." Noxa's legs crossed as she made herself comfortable. Her arms followed beneath her chest. "I'm pretty curious about what this 'thing' is. I'll give you time to do whatever you need to when we get our hands on it, but if it's something I can absorb... Then once you're done I get to absorb it."
Noxa shrugged. It seems like a fair deal to her. "What'd you say, Doc?"

Katsu gave a small smile as Noxa stated the obvious, that he was weird. Katsu had been called weird and much worse in his childhood. His yearning for knowledge far outstripped any other part of his personality to others, and the children he had to call schoolmates thought him a complete freak, and had treated him as such. His childhood had mostly big one big annoyance to Katsu, but it was over and he could focus on his goals at last.
Turning his thoughts away from his personal matters Katsu returned to the situation at hand, giving a nod to Noxa's proposal, “If you're capable of absorbing a mystical stone tablet that acts like a computer hard drive filled with special techniques and magical theory, then I'll gladly hand it over once I've copied all the data onto something more easily accessed by myself. However I get the feeling that isn't quite what you are meant to consume, you strike me as a Bio-android made to be some kind of great warrior or fighter. So I don't think you could absorb this object...
“However I will offer any knowledge I gain from the stone to you as a matter of course. For now though, I believe perhaps rest is in order before we begin this plan. I am going to sleep; you're free to eat the rest of the stew if you require the nutrition and sleep where you like within my home here. I've no extra bed, but I have a couch in the next room. Once we're in peak form we'll continue deeper into the cave to obtain our goal here...” With that Katsu would begin cleaning up the kitchen.
There were several pots and pans that needed to be tended to, each one rather large, and although Katsu utilized his telekinetic abilities once more it still took time in order to clear the food residue from them all and wash them out properly before setting them away in their proper place. Katsu purposefully left the large pot containing the stew alone, letting Noxa enjoy her fill of the hearty meal. Knowing a Bio-Android's capability to absorb nutrients, Noxa could completely consume the entire pot full, cleaning the pot of every tiny scrap of food.
Once Katsu had finished that he headed into his bedroom, three rooms over from the kitchen, and got ready for bed, stripping to the waist, revealing a surprisingly muscular and toned body that could have matched any body-builder's in strength, if not in size. Katsu was simply too thin to look like a hulk. He would simply go to bed as if there wasn't a potentially murderous Bio-Android next door to him, and if left alone would sleep throughout the night easily.
The next day Katsu would return to the kitchen in order to begin fixing breakfast, not bothering to dress himself as he cooked the eggs, sausage, toast, and corned beef hash via telekinesis, merely sitting at the table, awaiting Noxa to show herself and finalize their plans together.

Her legs remained crossed; her arms remained intertwined. A tendril of Noxa's hair extended towards the remains of the meal she'd pulled from to speak. It began to cleanup, transferring the nutrients it absorbed directly into her.
The man spoke of a tablet — a magical lexicon of sorts, which... Contained secret techniques of a bygone age? That part wasn't entirely clear to Noxa, though the clarity of the situation didn't matter: the bottom line was that she was probably not going to be able to absorb the damned object. Pity that — she was hoping for a quick flip in terms of profit.
A heavy sigh escaped from the Bio-Android while the man finished revealing that not-so-subjective truth to her. It was apparent Noxa was clearly annoyed, or at the very least greatly bothered by this turn of events. She knew she was supposed to grew stronger with her absorption, but for as long as she could remember her meals lacked variety; they were all so weak they could only really serve as a caloric MRE.
Something inside her really, truly hoped this one was going to be different.
At the very least promises of knowledge were made. She wasn't sure how much of a consolation prize that was, but it'd be enough of an incentive. After all, even if she couldn't become one with this power source it still was an artifact of considerable power! Well, presumably anyway.
She did nothing to keep the man from retreating himself; she simply remained sitting there, glaring at the bowl in deep thought until he'd rested himself in bed. Once he was gone it was still a little longer before motion reanimated her limbs. The woman decided to roam a bit. A few dozen paces were taken about the kitchen as Noxa took in the decor; she'd never been a guest before. It was a nice change of pace.
The gaze and focus that adorned the architecture and aesthetics of the home eventually all came to converge on the large human-sized pot of soup. The meal certainly had been delicious. Noxa couldn't remember the last time she had any meal so pleasing and satisfying.
She neared the massive contained, raising whatever lid — should it have any — before peeking in. A tender tongue came to trail her lips as the woman dripped with salivation. She had JUST eaten, yet here she was yearning for more! A hand slowly reached into the pot; her carapace was absorbed within her body, fading from sight as the woman took a more pure form.
Her fingers grazed atop the meal's surface, sending a trail of pleasurable flavor and caloric goodness into her system. Before Noxa realized it she was leaning more and more against the container, her body levitating into the air so she had better leverage — so she could take in more!
"So good~!" Came the sultry moan of a moth lulled to the flame, lids half closed as Noxa's unprotected form soon found itself within the pot, her entire body soaking and absorbing at everything within.
Gluttonous consumption left unchecked; Noxa indulged in it fully.
Come morning she'd be found exactly like that. Nude and asleep within the pot of soup, which had been 'licked' clean. Not even the lightest waft of anything that resembled a meal lingered in the air; not even the lightest drop of moisture within the massive container. Only the uncovered form of a nested Bio-Android hugging herself within her new enclosed space, lightly mummified by the hair that wrapped ever-so-tightly around her form.

Katsu soon realized that Noxa was still within the stew pot when he began to cook breakfast. He left her alone for a while, focusing on making the food; the changes he had made to the animals used to supply this food made cooking a very delicate process. If he overcooked or undercooked it by even half a minute the taste would be ruined; the intense bitterness of the protein overpowering the sweet and salty goodness of the fat and the spices. It was only once the first serving of the food was completely cooked, a large mound on a platter floating over to the table, that Katsu turned his attention back to the sleeping woman.
He leaned against the edge of the pot, able to rest his arms on it due to its size, and he gazed down into the pot to see what was going on with Noxa. He found the woman, completely missing her clothing like carapace, laying in the fetal position, her long hair wrapped around her like a protective webbing. Huh. So she can completely retract her carapace. Interesting...
Stupid libido, why do you have to be more active in the morning. Distracting. Katsu frowned to himself as he realized his body was taking it's own view of the situation. Sighing, he used a hand to tap against the edge of the pot, not hard, but with enough force to have the pot make a ringing noise. “Wakey wakey, time for eggs and bakey Ms... huh, you should probably give me your name at some point unless you want me to start giving you inappropriate nicknames. Do you always decide to sleep without your carapace, by the way? You should try pajamas for modesty; I'm told plenty of women enjoy the sensation of silk pajamas. Anyway, food.”
Stepping away from the pot Katsu sat down to begin wolfing down some of his breakfast, still not wearing his shirt, exposing his physique to Noxa. The mound of food would quickly diminish with or without Noxa helping Katsu put it all away, and soon Katsu would be cooking a second batch, then probably a third. As before the food had an intense yet balanced flavor, the various types of food not overpowering each other with their tastes and instead blending together well.
Breakfast would pass with little comment by Katsu, but when he was done he stood up and stretched, “I need a shower before we start this plan, or do you want one first?” Katsu looked over to Noxa, sudden curiosity in his eyes. Did Noxa even need a shower? Some Bio-Androids didn't because they completely recycled the waste of their body. They never shed skin or needed to wipe the grime off because it to became part of them. “Also, what was your original design for? If I know what you were made for I can probably find a way to help you in your goals in the future...”
