“It’s been a while since I’ve walked through town,” Endivia uttered quietly to herself. The woman of dark hair and tail had mostly kept to herself in recent times, still facing the discrimination against her and her kinfolk in the great wake of the Saiyan invasion of Earth. Ginger Town itself would be no different – no different from the rest of the cities and villages through which her peculiar path had taken her. Humans and Zoanthropes alike would fear her, and respond to that fear with equal parts evasiveness and unnecessary aggression. That was just how she was forced to live her life now.
“I guess as long as nobody sees my tail, it’s all fine.” She shrugged softly. “It’s not like anybody’s going to recognise me…”
Dressed in what was currently considered to be her usual attire, the Saiyaness strutted steadily through the streets; Ivory denim jeans, left leg cut off entirely and the other – three quarters of length – lined with arrhythmic tears. Black flip-flops and a matching tank top with ladder tearing around the left side, exposing segments of her midriff. A dark purple shrug, the left sleeve long but exposing her shoulder, whilst the right was entirely absent. Such garb was equal parts revealing and humble, but distinctively abnormal all the same. Across her back rested Tohnari, the ebon guitar and its silver strings secured by a dark leather strap that looped over her shoulder.
Her tail, its fur dark, had woven its way around the counters of said strap; hidden from the prying eyes of those who would bring prejudice and malevolence against her – hidden in plain sight.
“Everything’s as it should be, but nothing’s as it seems…” Finding lyric in realistic pessimism, ‘Chicory’ scanned the town setting with dark chestnut eyes. People were going about their norms. Everyday goings on of the town of Ginger continued, fuelling the machines of commerce and community as if nothing in the world was ever wrong. Shops had their doors wide open, office windows wide to let through the flow of air on this warm and sunny day, and it seemed the people had not a care in the world. But despite all that, the dark-haired dame could feel their fear; an ebbing sense of dread as to what might happen next. Or was she just being paranoid…?

[[Thread PL: 4,412]]
Sai sighed as he walked into Ginger town. He didn't feel like himself today, mostly because he just felt tired. He had been meeting people day in and day out, even though it was fun, it still took a toll on his energy level. Even rest wasn't going to help him in this state. He walked along in the town's street, and put his hands on the back of his head in his favorite relaxed position. His hands were cupped on the back of his head, and every step he took his legs rose up as if he were trying to attract attention. He then read a Energy Level fairly high, but not as high as his. He smiled at the sight of seeing someone that was weaker than him, not because he wanted to take advantage of them yet just to have fun. As he followed his reading, his eyes met to a dark-haired woman. Going through a certain stage in Sai's life, he felt like he was in love. He didn't really know what it was, but for an eleven year old it was as much explanation to what he was going through. He looked at the women as he began to lightly blush. Sai walked up to her and shot her a smile, trying to hide his blush but failing miserably. "Hello." Yamaga

[/div] While the town was having its daily dose of Saiyan-induced fear from one, who would have her own mess to deal with thanks to a little squirt, an unruly halfbreed Saiyan was causing a ruckus not far away. This hybrid, however, was doing so with far more ease and not due to his heritage. With his tail wrapped around his waist to appear like a fur belt, a bandana tied around the start and end of his tail before heading into town to hide where it "connected", Yamaga was high in his stance in front of an electronics store. A few people were looking on at the shocking sight, most of them confused, as Yamaga's brow was furrowed on the screens behind the display glass. One of his favorite segments had come on during this outing, giving him the chance to see highlights from some prior martial arts tournament. Getting to watch martial artists with years of training was something that a man with only the barebones basics of Saiyan training ideal. Training himself over the years had meant that there wasn't much of the original teachings left untouched in his own modified fighting stance. " So I just... raise my leg more... like so?" Raising his right leg and bending it at the knee a bit more, Yamaga frowned as the fighter was taken off screen. The announcer made reference to going to a new fight which meant that there'd not be another showing of the fight he'd been interested in. Lowering his right foot back to the sidewalk, the man's right hand moved to scratch at his large head of hair. The crowd had begun to disperse around him, some people sharing a worried look or whispering as they left the now ended scene. Yamaga could only sigh, the young man idly running his hand through the large tuft of hair all the way to the lengthy section in the back. Another day wasted, he supposed, instead of spent training back at his hamlet. Coming from the South had been quite the trip, but there wasn't anything he could do beyond prowl the streets and hope to find something thrown out. " Pft... that Saiyan back there looked pathetic!" "Ha! Yeah, she was hot and all but I bet even I could beat her!" Looking over his left shoulder to spot no one, Yamaga quickly turned to his right to take a glance at the now passing men. They'd come around the building's left corner, which meant that the one they were talking about couldn't have been him. No one was that stupid to mock a Saiyan, based upon what he had gathered and first-handedly seen. They'd insult a Saiyan in number if they were truly weak... but the fact that they had walked out of sight and no doubt ear shot meant that whoever it was must have been fairly strong. The possibility of facing someone, even if it was a full-blooded Saiyan, had already made up Yamaga's mind. Carefully turning away from the two as they walked off, Yamaga moved down toward the corner not but a few feet away. A hot female Saiyan was what he'd been expecting, as he neared the corner, but Yamaga was more interested in trying to figure out if it was someone he could finally practice all his training against. Thugs and small-time martial artist criminals weren't a proper way to gauge his abilities, after all. Peeking around the corner, pressed against the stone barrier of the building, Yamaga was comically exposed by his own hair. With the wild hair sticking out far enough to give away the fact he was likely spying, the hybrid was able to take in the sight of a tall Saiyan woman facing his direction... but her gaze was locked on a smaller kid. Her figure was certainly attractive, he'd giver her that, but Yamaga wasn't interested in a pretty face. The small kid couldn't be hers, he'd wager, but the uniform the little one was wearing reminded him of some of the martial artists he had tried to imitate with his own clothing. Right hand moving to the corner, setting his white-gloved palm against it for some balance since he had his tail hidden as a belt, Yamaga wished he could judge opponents based on their Ki. Such abilities were common, but his own Ki usage had been primarily for aggressive means without any sort of proper training. If I were to attack her, I'm sure I could guarantee a fight... but if that kid gets between us then I'm not sure what I'd be up against. Heck, I'm not even sure of how strong she is. Maybe I can just go up there and ask her to spar with me? But she has that guitar on her back... and surely she can't be willing to fight wearing that, can she? What do I do!?

(Shop activated - Zenni) (People in the cart (arcosian maid, chinatsu, songbird - 5000 PL, Mica - 40775, Hana - 163,101PL / Outside cart - Ayumu - 0 PL)
While his eyes were focussed on the gathering group of inviduals, the whispers of a voice in the back of the room slowly starting to go over the strenght of nearby creatures, it was obvious that there was little to note about this town too. Continiously attempting to search for that little glimmer of possibility, spreading the wings of information upon this book that was held within the wrapping of leather.
'5, 3, 10, 9, 6...'
'Chinatsu, those are all powerlevels we can expect from normal citizen...'
The man dragging the cart from the front had his mind tuned in on the conversation that was going on in the back, listening in on the bickering about the energy readings that were visible within this town. Ayumu had always wondered what had been their urge to search for the sources that were within these seperate towns. Continiously going over with his stall in a more slowed down pace while taking note of the hundreds to millions of levels of strenght that were visible.
'4250, 4412, 3000, jackpot'
'Ayumu, move forwards down this street, go take a right and do your thing'
Giving a reassuring nod, it was nothing short of a answer towards these two bickering fools as the cart had been filled with people who had expectations beyond our wildest dreams. Expectations that were given upon the knowledge that many things needed reinforcement in this world, with people performing justice in the nearby future only decreasing in number...
Yet upon arriving onto the scene, with his eyes slowly starting to widen with the shade of the buildings abandoning his eyes, a mere moment of blindness with droplets of water forming. A small hankerchief with a checker pattern, coloured dark red and blue being used to wipe these droplets away.
"Good day to you all, may i offer a free meal at this stall of mine?, Surely for the price of listening to the request of this old fart you guys would not mind going through this trouble, correctly?"
Having lowered his speed that was dragging the cart forwards by just enough to make it seem believable, his powerlevel was nothing short of nothing, it was a powerlevel that one could sense at the perfect zero. Yet it did not mean that he was untraceable, it just made disconcerning him from the many other sources a rather annoying thing to do. Placing the wooden behemoth closer, it had really started to expand upon the first time it was made with his bare hands, continious upgrades having been installed upon it over and over again. The front was designed like a ramen stall, with cloth flabs hanging infront of it to block out part of the sun with thin splits showing the insides and a few of the chairs attached to the bar itself to prevent some theft in this establishment. Underneath upon tapping a button on the handle itself was a push out segment that soon had capsules be activated as six tables were soon visible on this open veranda dining area as with a rather painfull groan the man made his way outwards of the wooden bar to drag this cart by. Going to close in on the group that was gathering while speaking rather kindly.
"My name is Ayumu, may i know the names of you guys?"
Ontop of the stall although was a single songbird, taking its time to glare downwards towards this humanoid that was being shy, glaring constantly without a single moment of avoiding eye contact.

I’ll have to find somewhere to rest sooner or later. Lunch would help, too… Her thoughts trailing to more primal needs after such lengthy periods of travel, Endivia was otherwise oblivious to the varieties about her. People of variable appearance and differing backgrounds were commonplace, none of them really standing out above the rest, save for the passing glances of those who were either admiring or envying her physique, or the select and silent few that actually recognised her for her Saiyan heritage. None of that really mattered, for not a single soul was making a fuss about anything, nor would she really care if they did.
“Huh?” Failing to notice the approach of another – mostly due to her own absent thoughts – the incognito idol suddenly found herself halted by the presence of a youth. No more than two thirds of her rather impressive height of five feet and eleven inches, the unfamiliar presence was a boy of preadolescent years, head adorned with jet locks that gleamed in the sunlight with the glossy sheen of youth. He was nothing special at first glance. No tail, no horns, no skin of abnormal hue; nothing to indicate a descent from an alien race. As far as she was concerned, this was just a normal human dressed in what appeared to be ‘traditional’ Earthling martial arts robes.
“Hello,” the boy smiled. His cheeks were red – most of his face was flushed crimson, in fact.
“‘Sup, kid?” The Saiyaness’ response was a placid one. Indeed, she could not exactly just push the kid aside or ignore him entirely, for such acts were rude. Besides, the youth of the world possessed innocence about them – one which the musician had to appreciate as some sort of personal sentimentality. How glorious it would be to reject the harsh, cold realities in favour of such naïveté. Human children were blessed with such things early in their life, whilst the Saiyan younglings were not so lucky. Humans had a choice, while their distant ‘cousins’ were almost explicitly raised to fight.
“Good day to you all,” greeted another. In all honesty, Endivia was about to ignore the obscure greeting, but something triggered her attentions. Specifically, the mention of the words ‘free’ and ‘meal’ in the same sentence seemed to make her stomach somersault in the stall’s general direction. She went to speak, but alas surprise got the better of her, her head cocking to the side curiously as she eyed what had most definitely not been there just a few minutes ago.
A wooden stall of sorts, arranged about a ramen stand, now stood proud in the suburban streets as if it had been there the whole while. Tables and chairs adorned a small but substantial area. But it was around said station and its adornments that the most unusual accompaniment did stand; a selection of women (some stranger than others), a black songbird, and the more prominent figurehead of an elderly man. His hair was laced with aged silver, combed back but still forming a somewhat untidy brush, and his narrow eyes deeply set among the tight wrinkles of his otherwise strong-jawed visage. He was quite the muscled man.
“My name is Ayumu,” the wizened gentleman chimed kindly.
For a moment, ‘Chicory’ questioned what she was seeing. There was something strikingly familiar about the one figure behind this ‘Ayumu’ character. Not a familiarity in that she knew the person, but in that she recognised their alien appearance. Regardless, she passed off such things and momentarily glanced back to the blushing boy. Then, feeling some sort of necessity to respond to the elder’s query, she looked to him again and spoke:
“I’m…” She hesitated briefly, tossing a metaphorical coin. “Chicory.”
Still somewhat disturbed by the very sudden showing of a full stand and its ‘staff’, the dark-haired demoiselle allowed her thoughts to cycle for a moment or two. She had seen her fair share of interesting characters in her years – even more so in just the last few months – but very few were comparable to such a strange assortment of souls. Shifting her stance, she relaxed herself, pondering exactly why this ‘old fart’ (as he had called himself) had chosen to direct his attentions to her and her otherwise unassociated company.
Her stomach threatened her from within.
“So, Ayumu,” Endivia entertained his offers. “What’s cooking…?”
I am assuming Ayumu's company are all visible and identifiable?

The female Sai had a crush on gave him such a tranquil response. He didn't really know how to feel about it, yet he was still fairly red even after her response. Then when an old man entered their discussion, Sai couldn't just help but smile. He looked so cheerful and so happy, unlike most of the people he would see today. When he even told them about free food, Sai stomach churned and he jumped in delight; he still was a kid inside. "Really? Free Food! You seem like such a nice Ossan." He laughed as he jumped into a chair in his wooden stall. Sai didn't really fear the phrase "stranger danger", and this ossan seemed so kind and nice. Then when the Ossan told him that his name was Ayumu, Sai smiled and put his hands in his lap. "Well I'm Sai!", he said before Chicory responded. What type of name was Chicory, and with closer analysis Sai could realize her race. Mostly since she had a fury belt wrapped around her waist. It was obviously what race she was, and especially with Sai's knowledge of races. She was a Saiyan, but Sai didn't want to go out and point her out of the crowd; after all she was just so beautiful. After Chicory asked what was cooking, Sai jumped up out of excitement and smiled at Ayumu. "Yeah Ossan, what type of delicious food are you trying to feed us!" He began to laugh, as he awaited the ossan's answer. Yamaga Just as promised.

tougher than she looks? At times like this, it was extremely painful not being able to judge his opponents Ki levels. Part of his curious wondering had led to a twitching of his tail, the binding securing it together to hide the true nature of it ensuring it didn't start to uncurl and twirl about. With such a chance to come forward, though, there wasn't much to keep him in hiding for long. Part of his gluttonous nature wanted to potentially join in on whatever "good eats" there might be, but the other part of him was trying to keep a clear mind to bring the possibility of a training spar of some sort up with one of these strange people. And because of that he'd slowly start to slip out from behind the corner and onto the street with an idle tug of his gloves to ensure they were pulled completely on. One step, two step, three step to get revealed... and with a turn Yamaga began to walk the somewhat short distance from the corner to the group. Step-after-step, with a somewhat slow pace, Yamaga neared the trio of individuals while ignoring the cart and its company. Posture mattered when around potential sparring mates as the televisions had always shown... which meant that ensuring he looked tough was vital. With a slight adjustment to control his stride in a more "powerful" manner, his face washed over with a determined, somewhat angry looking face. A few more steps and his hands were clenching shut in a slight anticipation and an effort to ensure he performed a proper greeting as he had learned from his time on Earth. Coming to a halt a few feet away, his feet stopped with about two or three inches between them before looking at best he could toward the trio... and bowed. " Good day to you three, my name is Yamaga!" The greeting was spoken fast and somewhat loud, the man's arms at his sides in a very clear imitation of a martial artist's bow. Righting himself almost just as fast, his eyes moved toward the old man of the meeting with a frown on his face. " I couldn't help but hear that you were serving food... but could it wait a moment? I have a favor to ask of this woman... perhaps you as well, if you wouldn't at all mind hearing me out." The statement was just about as quick spoken as the greeting, Yamaga's lack of social experience in his latter part of life beyond the occasional scuffle or required talk having left him ill-prepared for posing such a basic question. But once more the Saiyan inside the halfbreed decided to throw in one more additionally quick quip... obviously minus the witty intent. " O-Of course... if not I wouldn't mind getting a chance to eat and wait until she or yourself have the patience!"[/ul][/ul][/ul]

It was strange at first, having them come so freely and with a strange kind of excitement, nothing would have tickled the senses of interest from this old bogey himself as the sudden mention of a favour... Having had his ears listening on this conversation, he stopped the fires that were starting to be lit, a few detached hands that were connected via thin strands of energy one could see via methods akin to ki sensing that were doing autonomous tasks. Usually the size of his large hands, he had been spending a few solid minutes preparing to leave everything in this stall before bringing out a soft answer.
"Am i required to bring out a few snacks or will you guys be able to converse about this in public?, this free meal wont run away but if need be, we have a backroom where one can converse in silence"
Moving his hand to a knife laying on the side of his counter while aiming it towards the new arrival.
"I will gaurantee of this, if you find that somebody from the outside has listened in on your conversation you may stab me as many times as you wish, but that is all i can offer if it is important enough"
Starting to move his body over towards a few crates of food, starting to chop into the materials, upon first glance he had just prepared some cooking spray along with some sweet potatoes and salt. Preparing to make a rather simple recipe for these people, not wanting to interrupt the moment that has come up
-
Additional information about the insides of the stall, The stall has a wooden counter one can sit at, counting up to 14 straight seats. To the right of the counter is a door one can use to get behind into a long hallway with multiple rooms. The main area one can sit in, as in inside apart from the counter itself there are two improv tables along with up to three chairs each at max. Most of the people working stay in the backroom where you can visible stare in from the counter and past the kitchen into a improvised living room. On the walls are posters of strong warriors that Ayumu has taken pictures with and went out of his way to have fun with in a sparring sense of the word, even a book of a writer that depicted some of the strange tales that he had caused via the training sessions. Although it seems that on the wooden walls of this stall itself there were numerious autographs of warriors that had visited the stall.
(Sorry for the short post, flood in NL, so i made a quick post, if you guys want something added, edited, please tell me... The gaurds and such are just wandering about keeping a eye up)

“Yamaga, huh…?” The arrival of yet another unfamiliar face had almost been anticipated, though perhaps that was the echoes of life as a rising star? Regardless, Endivia was not at all fazed by the intrusion of another dark-haired individual; a man whose gruff appearance and posture screamed of martial discipline, even as he bowed in what she had always considered a very unusual Earthly custom.
A favour…? She sighed.
“We have a backroom where one can converse in silence.” Well, that’s a bit macabre… Picking up on the elderly gentleman’s comment about secrecy and stabbing, Chicory could not help but feel a little burdened by the atmosphere his words brought about. He was by all means serious, as far as she could tell. Was it pride and honour, akin to that of a Saiyan? Or was it just a rather poor taste of ‘dark humour’? Shrugging it off, she looked back to the newcomer.
“Sorry, but I don’t do autographs,” the famed femme answered pre-emptively. In fact, she’d even somewhat pre-empted herself. Since when was the last time somebody had approached her and asked for an autograph or a photo opportunity? The answer: Not once since her fall from stardom. Even that thug and his goons whom she had sent packing hadn’t pulled that card as a means to get closer to her. She continued; “And if it’s about a date, the answer’s also no…”

While ayumu had brought his hands forwards for distancing these people if things got rowdy, these large, powerfull hands of his were soon pocketed back where they belonged. In his pockets, softly rummaging through a few choice objects that had belonged there, Ayumu was softly counting the memories within his head, a soft gaze aimed towards these fools before his very eyes. Their look of despair at being denied at first glance while taking a quick turn, making their way out of this small establishment with that notion from before echoing into this old man his head. Knowing that ayumu had to think quickly on his feet to fix this starting to get depressing mood, a soft cough was let to escape.
"Autograph huh, do you happen to be somebody famous?"
This was ayumu his first question, a soft twitch on his brow was the first reveal of his emotional posture, with a quick loss on the flow of this entire conversation ayumu had nothing to really depend on to lure this person into a place of safety where he could convince or lead a conversation. Everything was a blind guessing work to try and appease to the person without truely finding a way that would only offend this person. Constantly placed in a corner and having to strike the iron while it was still hot, Ayumu continued, his tone carrying a small hint of annoyance, presumably from those people who had just walked off. Yet it was much thicker than one could have imagined, such heavy sounding stress could have not come merely from a group of idiots starting to chase after a woman in ayumu his establishment correct?
"Must be a hard life if you are, constantly having every move followed by some stray fan or person who wants you just for your looks... Kind of makes me want to know exactly what made you populair and if i would be capable of getting a show..."
Untill ayumu realized what could have been implied from this, quickly creating a red glow around his cheeks and bringing up a rather large hand towards his face.
"C-crap! If its anything that those adults do, please, do not make this a show at all! There are children in this cart, small children with pure ideas! I am really sorry for panicking but i do not want these people that are in this vacinity, these children to see anything that their age is unbefitting for, even at this point i do not want to just find a way to get them randomly corrupted by the sins of humanity..."
Ayumu his tone had quickly changed upon starting to talk about those, children, you knew from their appearances walking around that they were not just children, some looked like fine adults, others like ravaged warriors yet his attitude of trying to protect them, keeping them pure, it was just like a olderly father trying to protect his own flock of children. To cause them to stay safe under the warm feathered wings of safety...

“Autograph? Huh, do you happen to be somebody famous?” Ayumu quizzed, keeping the Saiyaness’ attentions. Indeed, Endivia was actually a little surprised by the gentleman’s statement – words laced with a clear absence of knowledge regarding the woman’s identity. How old was he? Though it might certainly have seemed like an eternity since the Saiyajin Star’s lights had been extinguished, the fact of the matter was that it really wasn’t as long ago as it sometimes felt. Besides, despite his musculature, Ayumu had to be quite a bit older than the average person. Old enough that, would he have had any knowledge of the outside world, he would have been around for Chicory’s entire existence on Earth.
How does he not know!? Most definitely taken aback by the meeting of someone who knew nothing of the name ‘Chicory’ – the very name she used for her performances – the raven-haired rogue actually missed the male’s mental misunderstandings. The proceeding rant from the elder came as just as much of a surprise, if not more so, than his lack of knowledge. She stood there, for what seemed like far too long, trying to make sense of the verbal cascade. Alas, it was a waste of effort.
“So, what is…? Oh… He’s gone…” Endivia shook her head: “Thank… Actually what do people thank here?” Quietly revealing the smallest shred of her still-present inexperience of the human planet’s ways, the Vegetan vixen took into account the apparent disappearing act of the others. The child – Sai was his name – had scurried off somewhere, unlikely to be seen or heard from again in the near future. Yam boy had also taken his leave, abandoning the curious cart and its caretakers, and perhaps suffering from a blow to his pride.
“Slow down there, old man,” Endivia hushed him with a lethargic wave of her forefinger. Said digit soon drifted to her shoulder, tapping the dark timber of the instrument secured to her back. Tohnari rested in silence, awaiting its chance to roar again. For now, it would have to wait a little longer. “You’ve never heard the name ‘Chicory’ before?”
The musician hesitated. Was it worth explaining this at all? Or, would it just end up drawing in yet more unwanted attention? As much as she had enjoyed the walk of fame, she was not entirely sure that she wanted to advance along that path again, now that humanity and its partnered races saw the Saiyans through eyes of animosity. What would the police force of Ginger Town do if they realised who… No – if they recognised what she was? Why else had she coiled her tail so as to resemble a fur strap for her guitar? There was that paranoia again.
What harm could it do…? She thought: To explain myself to just one old man…? “I… I am – used to be – famous,” she surrendered, keeping her voice confined somewhat so as to avoid attracting open ears and the eyes that accompanied them: “Chicory was my stage name. I’m a musician – a guitarist who came to Earth a while ago, just so I could play. It ended up making me quite the star, though not as famous as some of your ‘celebrities’. Like, uh, that star guy. What’s his name? Captain Nova? He’s a lot more famous that I ever was here. The guy has his own brand, for crying out loud! My point is this, I was… Shot down, I guess? Shot down, put out and washed up. All because… I suppose you at least remember the SSE’s invasion?”
Why am I explaining myself to him…? It’s not like he needs to know all this. He only asked a simple question – yes or no would’ve done just fine! Endivia scolded herself soulfully. There was no denying her emotions regarding her rise and fall, because unlike the crashing careers of other budding superstars, she had had no control over her descent. Some fool had decided to go down with their ship, and said vessel had no escape pods equipped for those who didn’t want to come along for the ride. Maybe it was time to turn tail and run? Unlike the Mighty Oozaru that lay dormant within her genes, she had no intention of harming yet more people or getting (mostly) innocent old men wrapped up in unnecessary internal conflicts…

Listening intently, Ayumu felt a sense of guilt, this woman had been trying her best to reach the stars and has honestly reached them, bringing forwards that passionate sound of the instrument on her back in the stage and at many other locations... Oldman just felt his head slowly aim downwards in shame while leaning rather heavily on his cane, causing it to slightly bend.
"Sorry for not knowing you madam. After a few short lived life of well, living like a old fart i have been off planet attempting to stave off starvation and body decomposition in space before i ended up back home via something akin to luck itself. I have seriously never forgotten how many lifetimes of luck i must have spend to simply be granted another chance to come back here and meet fantastic people like you..."
His eyes slowly starting to grow wet, he would let out a soft chuckle while taking out a hankerchief and slowly aiming away his face from you to perform a quick blow of his nose to clean it before it started to get runny. A gentle feeling of respect was visible within his eyes, he was showing no signs of trying to act like a liar or even somebody who was trying to get a autograph in a scenario like this like a fanatic fan. Slowly starting to search his pockets, Ayumu wanted to repay you for giving that information in some form of respect while seeing a few seeds and taking them before letting a small surge of energy speed up their growth forming a small pair of Daffodils.
"These are Daffodils, a flower that is uncertain but wishes to show respect and chivalry, although some other meanings are hidden within, i am simply trying to show the respect of one who can understand the struggle of trying to get that far. I have known a few saiyans on earth who have tried to become cooks, doctors or even gardeners... and they have all been met with bullying, social redrawal or even going into crime itself... A short repeat of what immigration has done in the past so to say but lets not get this dark..."
Letting out a rather loud cough, Ayumu would simply move towards the back and lift a few plates out as he had his manifested energy take the form of detached hand that started working on a few small dishes. One platter had fried lamb stomach wrapped in thick leaves of cabbage and with a slight amount of breading, the other was strips of meat covered in pancake mix making them little suprises of what one would taste, although the flavours were nothing to be dissapointed at.
"Please tell me if you happen to be a vegetarian, i will replace the dishes as i have a few people in a back who would be more than willing to consume it all. so tell me, if you do not mind, what kind of genre of music do you happen to play? i am truely interested to see how far culture has developed in the hands of talented newcomers like you and many others in the sea of earths population"

The old man’s initial response did, quite frankly, fly over Endivia’s head at escape velocity. It was not because of the manner in which he spoke that his utterings had been lost, but rather the fact that it was so stupidly unbelievable to think that a single human could go through all that and live to tell the tale. This man’s story was something else, but clearly something he did not wish to elaborate upon, as he turned and evacuated his nostrils. There it was again – mankind’s unwillingness to show weakness. Or, perhaps this was simply basic manners?
“Daffodils…?” Was it some sort of human custom to give people flowers? Despite her time spent on the planet Earth, the monkey-tailed musician was still rather unaccustomed to the multitude of mannerisms that made up human ways. Those first few months had been full of surprises, some pleasant and others not so, and it seemed that the world was not about to give up that steady flow of intrigue. The yellow petals reminded her of something, but she could not remember what. The flower heads were oddly trumpet shaped, too, which appealed somewhat to her aspirations.
A Saiyan gardener… Ayumu’s mentions of other Vegetans were interesting, further painting a picture upon the metaphorical canvas of a man that he so far appeared to be. Her peoples coming to Earth was nothing abnormal – in this age it was not at all uncommon for young Saiyajin to aspire to different goals, even if very few of them realised such dreams. In that sense, Chicory counted herself at least somewhat fortunate. However, of all the jobs to commit to, gardening was not something she could ever imagine one of them partaking of. That being said, her parents had said the same thing about music.
Ahem!
“Please tell me if you happen to be a vegetarian.” Ayumu broke her train of thought: “What kind of genre of music do you happen to play?” “I don’t really have a focus genre,” answered the dark-haired demoiselle. It was a good question. Whether or not her current company had an actual interest in music or not, at least he was trying to make conversation about it; curiosity salving the subtle wound to her pride that his lack of knowledge had inflicted. Though he might have seemed little more than a humble salesman and wanderer deep into his twilight years, Mister Ayumu was certainly proving to be a fascinating individual. Had the woman’s sense of prestige not been steadily taking over, she might have actually quizzed him about his own habits. Instead, she made as much as she could out of his queries.
“My culture’s customs aren’t so deep into music from what I know. But I’ve played a bit of everything, from what you call country to jazz, to rock and metal. I don’t know – I just play what and where the mood takes me,” she explained idly. Truth be told, she was having a hard time making herself seem ‘all that’ through words alone. Besides, maybe an elderly fellow such as this one was a bit of a waste of time as far as musical endeavours went? Maybe she was just being rude.
“Uh… Don’t expect a show, though,” she tacked on: “I don’t like playing on an empty stomach…”

Knowing that this person had to take some time to perform the normal saiyan ritual of coating the walls in a thin layer of saliva while attacking the food. It was not a uncommon habit from the saiyans that have been in this little establishment as Ayumu had hoped honestly for manners from this lass.
"Eat your fill, go ahead!"
Before throwing himself over the counter, using a few solid taps of his feet to make his body not collide into any of the hanging pans and ingredients tied to the roof. This akward path that was made within the air itself was something that was unnatural, uncanny even as Flight itself would be more streamlined and calm while this was more rough and sudden.
Yet while his two firm feet landed on the ground behind the counter, what he did was little less than taking his work serious and leaving Endivia alone for a mere moment. Knowing that time was a rather important component along with a few other factors that would determine what had to be prepared. Although the grill was starting to be lit, the flames starting to lick upon the frying pan in this open area, while the starting course was planned... He simply awaited if this woman had something to say, not wanting to interrupt her meal while letting a rhythmatic grinding sound from the mortar and pestle that were digging their way into his palms. Working through the small leaves and spices, the herbs and plants that started to have their aroma unmasked to the open air. A gentle fragrance that would remind people who took in the aroma of a large open field of cherry trees in bloom, the nearby rushing water of a small lake and outside of the shake of the trees, capable of taking in the light were a few sets of roses... it was a powerfull fragrance made to take ones attention. Yet in the same time it was a carefully produced incense that was there to show the strange affection this man had towards fragile, pure and innocent things. An small hint towards that fragile inside that Ayumu was dragging along in his life while striving to do the best he could for those he was in a conversation with and even was blessed to train and interact with. The corners of his face slowly raising as his mood was obviously starting to become better... Was it the cooking or Endivia her company? It was just something that was brought up from within that large burly torso of his that was starting to feel excited, untill his soft humming then betrayed exactly why he was getting excited. This old fart reacting like a small child upon awaiting when Endivia would be truely full so that he could hear these soft tunes and sick beats that Endivia would perform. The last few weeks, months, maybe even years he had heard nothing but hana and himself perform musically and that was... nothing to willingly listen too unless the listener had isolated headphones for protection.
(Short post, as i am trying to fill some time untill she finishes her meal ovo Also sorry for the late post! D:)

What flavours! Her mind momentarily taken aback by the sudden delicacies that graced her lips and tongue, Endivia’s train of thought seemed to derail itself – that or the metaphorical driver had decided to join her lunch break. The real thing likely would not have passed up the chance. However, it was quite literally just her getting to sample these divine gifts forged by the hands of Ayumu. The culinary Adonis that was the old man had worked his magic, almost literally, upon both the preparation and presentation of such a fine meal. Only a fool would refuse it.
Hmm, I guess I really never paid attention to this stuff before… Chicory mocked her own force of habit. Eating was as natural to Saiyajin as breathing, if not more so given the speed at which she had once wolfed down a cheese burger. That poor burger never knew what bit it. This time, however, the situation was a little different. While she normally wouldn’t have cared about dining etiquette and table manners, the musical madam had been consumed by the consumables before her – just the mere taste of a single mouth’s full was as amazing as any chord she could strike upon her guitar.
Her vanity aside, there was no denying the quality of the meal as she picked it apart. The usual cacophony of flavours that many meals were forged from had, in this instance, been perfectly coordinated. Nothing was too overwhelming, nor was there anything bland. Each and every morsel that touched her tongue seemed to blend its tangs together, from succulent cuts of meat to the lush vegetable accessories; even the sauces and breading added to give the dish that extra punch mixed so nicely.
“That was delicious!” the Saiyaness praised; “Huh. Maybe I should’ve eaten a bit slower…” Apparently, taming the beast that was the appetite of the Vegeta-born was no easy feat. Regardless, the usual chaos of Saiyan feasts had been avoided thanks to the masterpiece of cookery and its culinary choreography, leaving the sated star with a new appreciation of talents outside of hers. Maybe she should learn to cook like Ayumu could? Or, perhaps it was better not to end up losing a finger to a misplaced kitchen knife. The latter decision was certainly highlighted as the wiser option. She knew where her skills lay, and she needed her fingers for them.
“So,” she looked to Ayumu. “You wanted to know what genre I played, but what about you, old man? What genre do you prefer to listen to…?”
